If you’re looking for a place in Burnet that nails the balance between good food, good value, and a comfortable atmosphere, this spot delivers every time. From the moment you walk in, the customer service stands out—everyone is friendly, attentive, and quick without making you feel rushed. You can tell they’ve been doing this a long time, because everything runs smoothly even during busy hours. The food hits that sweet spot of classic diner comfort with fast turnaround. Whether you’re grabbing burgers, chicken, sides, or something lighter, everything comes out hot, fresh, and way quicker than you’d expect. And the prices? Honestly, for what you get, they’re hard to beat. It’s one of the rare places where you walk out feeling like you actually got more than your money’s worth. Inside, the old-school diner aesthetic gives it a cozy, nostalgic vibe. It’s quiet enough to talk without shouting, which makes it a nice little date-night option—simple, cute, and laid-back. At the same time, it’s absolutely welcoming for families. Plenty of seating, clean tables, and an environment that just feels easygoing. No chaos, no stress. They also have a surprisingly large menu. Whether you’re picky, adventurous, or bringing a group with different tastes, everyone can find something they’re happy with. That alone makes it a dependable go-to spot. Overall, this place checks all the boxes: fast service, great food, fair prices, and an atmosphere that works for any type of outing. It’s the kind of local spot you end up coming back to again and again because it just consistently hits the mark.
I love storms but have never been to this one. They were the sweetest, patient people! We struggle ordering cuz of dietary issues with the grandbaby and they so kinda and didn’t rush us. Then even came back and asked us if she enjoyed its
We are out of towners. Stopped in this cute town to get breakfast. We decided to try this place out. Was not disappointed. Breakfast burrito hit the spot. They deserve good recognition. If I'm ever traveling through here again, I'm definitely stopping by.
OMG the Philly cheesesteak is the bomb it is honestly the best one I have had in my whole life and the cajun fries oh my god just as good and the owner of the place is a very nice guy very friendly great price too for 2 meals was only 31 dollars that's not bad at all I would recommend if you're in town for vacation or whatever and you want something to eat that would be the place to go it is a nice little food truck
Our first time finding this gem and we will stop again!! Excellent customer service and all of the food was hot, cooked properly, and tasty. Plus they have parking in the back big enough for when we have our camper. (a rare find) We enjoyed the gouda bacon burger on sourdough, cordon Bleu burger, excellently crispy tater tots, and jalepeno poppers!! Nicely done!!
I love these kind of places! I've driven past Storm's for years and I was finally not in a hurry so I stopped and wasn't disappointed. I got the double cheeseburger with fries. The burger was great but could've used a touch more lettuce and onions. I love chopped lettuce on a burger. The fries though... Holy moly! If my wife wasn't with me I would've got more. They were perfectly cooked, not soggy and just crispy enough but still able to let salt cling to them. Next time I'm headed to San Antonio(from Harker Heights) I'll definitely make time eat here again! You can tell the locals love this place! And, of you're towing a boat home or have the horses with you, there's places out back that are paved to park too.
Not sure if this location has gone under new management, but whatever it is was a five star! Service was great, the restaurant was clean and the food was very good! Tried a “hand breaded”(upon request)chicken fried steak sandwich tonight and it was excellent! Congratulations to whatever is going on at Storms in Burnet, Texas!
Best fried I have ever had in my life. I'm a big guy and have eaten a lot of fries so that's saying a lot. I'm not sure why but they were amazing. Burger was good, and the malt was great too.
Great Lunch with Family and Friends at Storm's in Burnet Texas June 2025. Definitely had some left overs on that Chicken Fried Steak and the Fried Fish and Shrimp hit the spot Exchanged reg Fries for Sweet Potato Fries 😋😋😋😋 only 50 cents to switch up to Delicious Sweet Potato Fries 😋 Storm's was the very first time years ago that got me hooked on the. Fries
Delicious food and very clean. The employees are very nice and the service is fantastic. We had a wonderful time when we had dinner here. The burgers and fries were hot and made ro order. Spots to eat outside if you wish as well. We want to return at breakfast and I am sure it will be equally delicious as well.
Called in pick up order and received fast and friendly service. The grilled chicken salad is wonderful. I wish Marble Falls still had a Storms.

The absolute best milkshakes ever! Storms is clean and nice on the inside. But you cannot beat their milkshakes. And their service is fast.

We used to have a Storm's in Gatesville when I was a kid. I remember I liked them but forgot how delicious they were until we went to the one in Burnet. Super Tasty!! Can't wait to pass by again
Met family in Burnet for the day as it is 1/2 way between homes. Decided give Storms a try. We were suprised by the freshness of everything. First, the burgers are thin, this is probably so they ca…
1st time, passing through on our roadtrip. I reviewed this place and photos. I noticed that they grill the buns, so we asked them not to and requested mayo instead of mustard which is common where we are from. Respectable staff and honored what we requested, super friendly. A regular cheeseburger is like 1/6 patty thin (works for me), 1/3 lb is basically 2 patties together. Kids' meal comes with fries and drink. They don't ask if you want make it combo. Onions rings were done perfectly delicious. Fries tasted great to my family, I prefer different style (Hence I got onions rings, super pleased with them). No drinks this time. Prefer places like this over fast-food chains. I have had better buns from other hamburger places especially in regard quality of taste and texture (nears a stale bun), without having to request no grill, which is rated 4. Sadly, no pickles. Charges extra for cheese, there's a variety. Definitely worth stopping by again if passing through on roadtrip.
The burgers at Storms are decent but not legendary. It seemed like there was little care put into the preparation; the onions weren't grilled, the gouda cheese was barely noticeable, and there was only one piece of bacon included. On the other hand, the hand-cut fries were well-seasoned and were the best part of the meal. Everyone was nice.
Visiting Storms Drive-In is like stepping back in time. Old school drive in and the indoor seating appears to have been frozen in time. Clearly, the burgers here have stood the test of time and it’s easy to see why. Delicious, fast food burgers and lovely, flavorful fries and onion rings. A delicious option apart from the usual fast food chain.
the patties were thinner than my patience trying to swallow that dry burger and the fries tasted like cardboard soaked in vegetable oil. Felt bad that our kids didn't even like it with 2 hours left…

The person who makes the fries needs a new job. The fries are stiff as a board. Unsafe for toddlers to eat as they are a choking hazard. Not fresh at all. Potatoes taste old.
Good food, reasonable prices. Exterior may not look all that great but the food is worth a stop.

Cute nostalgic type place and my son very much enjoyed his Gouda Burger which was an unexpected offering. The club sandwich that I ordered was the most inedible, served uncut on floppy, oily bread which smelled and tasted like rancid grease, and I threw it in the trash along with the ‘Nachos’ - stale chips and melted cheese. Will not return.
Storms in Burnet once upon a time had decent burgers, but it seems here of late they're on the decline, the burgers have very lityle taste and the fries and onions rings are never very warm. Their breakfast is ok, better than McDonald's.
Soggy fries, bugs everywhere, and small servings all for $12.50 a person. But that's just my experience.

The server was friendly. The burgers weren’t anything too jump for joy about. The french fries were either over cooked or from the bottom of the basket.

So sad to say, I have always loved Storms, but this was the worst experience ever! Burgers were very overcooked. Buns were hard. Cheese for nachos was cold and they forgot the jalepenos. Fries were not hot or good. The frosted coke was very good though.
One of the worst meals I've had in a long time. I got the chicken tender dinner. The chicken tasted like it was from a bag of very cheap frozen chicken tenders. The gravy was borderline flavorless.…
If your want storm's keep going to Lampasas. This morning the staff was rude and acted like you were inconvenience to them. We had waited 30 extra minutes to eat there and ended up leaving without …
I am done with Storms in Burnet. Once again a simple order is jacked up. My fault for not checking it before I left but you would think putting 2 burgers in a bag would be a simple enough process. Got home with one...AGAIN!
So I took my family out thinking I would show them a good time and show them around this great time well unfortunately the food was terrible customer service was very bad to say the least... you would think after all these years you wouldn't bring out some cold fries or lean how to properly make a burger especially if that's what you're know for !! It's sad in this time in day something so expensive can be so bad... please someone tell me where can I get some good food because a joke is there middle name with there food ... if you're hungry stay away from this place because you'll just loose your appetite
Just walked in about a minute past breakfast being served because I had to unload my 15 month old toddler and there was absolutely no one in the restaurant being served so I didn’t think I had a o rush. They saw I was out front on the patio and the button wasn’t working, so I went inside to order breakfast and they rejected me for breakfast and said it was “too late”. Just a small bit of advice. I am a local here and because of this, now you have left a horrible taste in my mouth. Never had storms breakfast before.. I was really excited to sit down with my daughter but I guess I’ll have to take my business elsewhere. Super let down from the service and staff.
