I’m not sure where Mr Alfonso has been, but Locanda dell’Orsiera is a marvelous experience and an authentic one. Everything is done in house and curated in detail, the plates explode with flavours and balanced contrasts. The staff is attentive, warm, and the service efficient and professional. 10/10 recommend this little gem in the heart of Val di Susa.

We found this restaurant thanks to a lunch and wine tasting in collaboration with the guys at the Sorso wine shop in Turin. The dishes were all truly excellent, and it was clear that there's a truly skilled chef in the kitchen. It's not the "tourist" Roman cuisine you find everywhere these days; here you'll find innovation, excellent pairings, and ancient ingredients expertly prepared (especially sweetbreads). We were pleasantly surprised and will be back soon to try the other dishes. P.S. The train station is just a short walk away, so you can have a drink in peace and then take the train back safely.

Excellent restaurant located in an old building with outdoor seating in the courtyard. Very well-executed Roman cuisine; I had spaghetti carbonara and smoked sweetbreads with peppers, which were amazing. Well-stocked wine list and friendly staff. Definitely worth returning!

The place is welcoming and has a wonderful courtyard. The waiters are knowledgeable, well-trained, and friendly. You can sense the passion and care of the kitchen staff in every dish. The menu always features some unusual surprises that are truly hard to find elsewhere. It's truly a different place in the mountains, definitely worth a visit!
