This place has the sweetest staff and the best homemad Gluten Free Pizza i have had in a while. Love this place. A bit slow but they eventually gave it to me for free. The rest of the food was fire
The smell of fresh baked pizza fills your senses as you enter. A beautiful selection of fresh baked on display assorted styles all behind a glass display. The menu is like a full restaurant inside seating+ table service available. Fresh baked Cannoli for dessert...wow. My favorite thing. Soooo fresh. Delishous chicken parmesan ..We were so hungry and it was sooo good. We forgot to take photos this time..well be back.
They're pizza, wings and appetizers were very delicious! We went with a large party of over 30 people, got our orders done perfectly and was very pleased with the service! Would highly recommend trying them out!
Our family visited Pizza Bono today for the first time, and was not disappointed! We were very impressed with the quality of pizza and friendly staff. We live in peru and haven't been impressed with the 2 local pizzerias lately so this was a nice change! We will be going back soon!
Oh my goodness, I was so happy with this place!! Extremely friendly and willing to take care of their customers!! I am here for the week on business and I will probably be her everyday now to eat!! Amazing pizza!!
Always a great place to grab a slice if your out walking in the middle of the day or down clubing late at night. Now with the addition of the extra restaurant and bar side..it's even better! They never disappoint with the garlic bread, amazing crust pizza selection (try the poutine pizza or spinach & ricotta pizza), or even the pastas and bono salad! The owner is great and his staff is wonderful! Always a pleasure, always amazing food!
We brought the kids last night and it was a good little find. There is a bar on one side and a restaurant on the other. They play excellent 50s/60s music and it is just a great place to hang out. The pizza slices are big and cheap considering it was downtown. I tried a poutine pizza, which sounds crazy but was actually pretty good. The kids loved it even though there were no screens to mesmerize them.
Great food at great prices. Awesome service. This is not your average pizza place. Good variety of authentic, fresh prepared Italian dishes. The salad that was included with meal was bigger, fresher and better than any I've had at any restaurant. Anywhere.
Some dislike it, some say theres nothing else like it. Im one of those nothing else like it guys, The new Sicilian pan pizza is definitely worth a shot if you haven't had it yet. It's very good. Order it crispy it always comes out perfect. Wings are always on point and cooked thoroughly.
It was a great service! I ordered pay on delivery late at night, and they were super nice, the delivery person was nice and helped me break my 20,I got a perfectly sized small pizza and giant pepsi for only 12 bucks, and the pizza was hot,and the Pepsi was cool. Overall great service, absolute 5 stars!
The best Italian dishes!! Lasagna, ravioli, eggplant parm--so good!! And they come with a salad--very fresh with more than just lettuce--and also warm garlic bread--soft on the inside, crisp on the outside, and just the right amount of garlic. Plus the deliverers are very nice and friendly. If you don't live close enough to get Pizza Bono, I feel bad for you.
I usually order a calzone whenever I eat there. Last night I tried the stuffed pizza... My new favorite. Keep up the delicious work guys.
If you visit Plattsburgh and don't get a slice at Bono with some cold cheese after stumbling out of the Monopole I feel sorry that you missed experiencing northern NY's 'newyorkest' pizza.
Great pizza!! The only problem I have with their plain cheese pizza, light on the cheese, it's NEVER, light on the cheese. It always comes delivered, with the normal amount of cheese, or with extra cheese. I would really like to get what I order. Otherwise their food and service is great!!
Fantastic pizza! Through the decades great pizza has always been created at pizza bono. It fed me as a kid when I spent my days skateboarding in downtown plattsburgh. Now it feeds me as an adult being a go to pizza shop for fast delivery and great food. Thanks guys for a lifetime of goodness.
Amazing pizza and very original one of a kind place
They have a fresh pie that's unbelievable. I know that every New Yorker thinks they're the last word on pizza and I'm certainly no exception. Born in Brooklyn, raised in Staten Island, and grandma made pizza every Saturday afternoon, but I gotta tell ya, this fresh pie is the real deal.
I miss Joe Mal...other than that....the food is great
I brought myself and 3 kids with me today. There was an older white gentleman working and a younger Spanish man. I only say these specifics because I’m listening to the older man scolding the young dude for not doing what he's asked. He replied I’m Spanish I’m trying my best I’m not perfect - the older man literally told him to learn English and do better. It really just broke my heart to hear. The younger man cashed me out and was very kind and cleaning as he worked. He seems to be a hard working man and really trying. I hope the work environment for everyone becomes comfortable and safe place for him to learn and grow in. Bono is a family favorite for us and others but if my kids had been inside to hear this passing of words i would be responding very differently. So to the Spanish man working. Thank you for being a kind server while trying to do your job despite the criticism. I see you ❤️
Fantastic pizza! Best in the Plattsburgh area, and dont forget to try the homemade tiramisou made by one of the owners momma! If your lucky enough to get some, as it sells out fast
Why did no one tell me about this amazing place?!? I have been eating okay pizza for three years and all along I could have been eating awesome pizza. There is no other place in the area, I I will drive far for good pizza and this is the most awesomely yummy pizza crust perfectly thin and crispy chewy sauce is not over whelming and is flavorful toppings on point and the perfect amount of cheese, don't have to pay for extra cheese to get that perfect amount. I'm so very happy to finally have great pizza close to home up here.
Closest thing in the north country to NYC pizza, at least as far as I've found in the 18 years since moving up here. Georgeous crispy, thin crust, delicious sauce, and exact right amount of cheese. Staff was friendly as well, both towards customers and in their interactions with each other. Highly recommended. We will be back and we will bring our friends.
The food is always great here! The service is already terrific and the prices are awesome! The only place I have found the makes veal parm! The salads here are huge and full of vegetables. They have a huge variety of pizzas and they are all so good! Their bread is super good too! Love this place. Love their food!
Well for starters let's just say its vary chill spot at night to just chill. The bartender has a unique sense of taste when making a tasty treat! Her concoctions will leave you with a mystery of flavors, that simple bewilder the taste buds! To the atmosphere! Its relaxing at night and cheerful and warm place to hang during the day. Has a wonderful food from the next door pizza bono. So every angle they got your back i highly recommend that you give them a peek!
Delicious pizza and poutine ! We Stopped in during the Battle of Plattsburgh celebration and had great food as always. It was fresh and hot. Kudos
looking for dinner, most places were closed on a Sunday night. Landed here, such a treat! My kid loved the pasta and red sauce. Pizza and Philly cheese steak were also delicious. Homemade meatballs were sososo good!
My favorite pizza in our area! Recently ordered specialty slices---chicken and a vegetarian one, What a treat! Garlic knots are lovely. Solid wings. So glad for this local gem.
Came for the 'cold cheese pizza' and was not disappointed, it was delish and the pizza had great flavor. Tried a few other slices and all were yummy. Staff was friendly as well, would come back next time in town!
Look I took out but the pizza itself was excellent we got half cheese half pepperoni large.
This was one of the best experiences I have had at a restaurant of this type. Absolutely amazing staff, and food
Fire whoever is working the register today she got on a red tee shirt( new chick) 12/31/24 I got two regular slices cheese and a Coke. I was charged 10.08 which is wrong I asked to have my slices heat up extra hot. I checked it as soon as I got to the vehicle they were cold. I have been going to this establishment for over 15 years and never have had that happen. Not once I also noticed that she likes to touch the slices with her hands after she handles money. The environment is just too fast pace for her
Very friendly place! Chicken wings are huge, they have dog friendly tables outside. Even brought a bowl of water for our dog! Definitely recommend
This is the spot for late night slices after the party next door. The bar is the party spot in Plattsburgh. See you there 😉
Open late for those late night munchies. Perfect place to get some good pizza and beer
For a pizza place, the pizza was excellent. Super crispy crust that holds up to the hang test. Flavor was outstanding.
I grew up 23 years on Long Island, with that being said, pizza is obviously very important to me. Since coming to Plattsburgh, I will say that Bono's has the most authentic slices around here! As well as an atmosphere for night life that is actually lit! Chicken, bacon & ranch pie is to die for 👌🏽🤍
I've been coming here since the early 90's, and still the best pizza, in my travels I always hope that another pizza joint is at least comparable, but never is!
I stopped by Pizza Bonno during what was clearly a hectic night — they were short-staffed and packed with orders, but I have to give credit where it’s due: the staff handled it like pros. Even with the rush, they stayed calm, polite, and genuinely empathetic about the wait. They communicated clearly, kept things moving, and checked in with updates. You could tell they cared and were doing their best for every customer. The food? Totally worth the wait. Fresh, hot, and delicious as always. It’s rare to see a team juggle high demand and still deliver great service with a positive attitude. Respect to the crew at Pizza Bonno — I’ll definitely be back.
First time in NY and I was so excited to drink the water and eat a pizza. Pizza Bono exceeded my expectations. So much so, that it literally brought me to tears. Sounds silly but hey, I'm from Florida! We had their margarita pizza and bruschetta. Thank you, Sal and his amazing team for a fantastic experience.
Large pizza's. We accidentaly ordered buffalo chicken instead of BBQ chicken, the worker was kind enough to switch ours out for the pizza meant for single slices. It's quick service and the double sided building with different environments is a fun touch!
Hopefully Pizza Bono's listens to me on this one because I think their meatball subs are actually pretty good, with one exception. Everything about their meatball sub hits home for me. It looks good, they use good bread, it's toasted well, you get meatball in every bite, there's a good sauce to cheese ratio. BUT... the one thing that's lacking is TASTE. I'm sure they use pre-made, pre-frozen meatballs. It's whatever. But the one thing they CAN control is the sauce. The sauce needs more Italian flavor. Like, a LOT more. They should definitely have separate sauces for separate dishes, and for the Meatball Sub you need a STRONG marinara that can compete with the cheese and the bread. When I ordered my sub to go it looked great. Nice, fresh bread. Baked crisp. Not heavy on cheese OR sauce, just the right amount. And a good distribution of the meatballs. But then you take a bite and you think, "I taste nothing." Well, nothing but bread and bland meat maybe. It would be SO much better if they suped up that sauce with more salt, pepper, garlic, maybe a pinch of Cayenne, and other Italian herbs and spices. Because right now it tastes like nothing.
Food is awesome as always and the service is fast. The only real complaint I have is how absolutely rude the older employee was to the younger employees. Adding a lot of undue stress and calling employees names well within earshot of where we were eating was super disappointing.. very impressed by these kids ability to just brush it off and keep the food we love coming ❤️
We had great tequila sunrises here while celebrating a 21st birthday! Unfortunately it was a Sunday night so downtown was dead, but we still had a lot of fun on our visit. The bartender was good company and he made tasty drinks.
I usually only stop here after going to the Plattsburgh bars. It definitely hits the spot at 2 am. The slices are thin and pretty large. Think a little smaller than a large paper plate. I usually get a pepperoni with cold cheese on top. It sounds odd but it's good.
Bono is always pretty good. They renovated the adjoined building and it looks really nice. The seating is the only thing that keeps me from giving them a better review. Overall a great place to pop in a grab pizza by the slice.
Walked by here on 5/20. Placed smelled great so we stopped in. Never been here before. The waitress was the worst. She forgot a drink and never took our order. The very nice guy with a foreign accent came out and took our order. We loved him. The food was awesome. Only complaint was the waitress. She even told the guys behind the counter she had to much to do loud enough for customers to hear her. We would highly recommend this place.
As a born 'n bred Brooklynite, and current North Jersey resident, this pizza isn't bad at all for Plattsburgh.
Update: Years later, the place has picked up again, definitely haven't been as rude as I've experienced in the past and the food has gone back up in quality. I'm going to assume it's a lot of the COVID tension that really set things out of control back then. Old Review: Food has gone downhill, Owner treats customers like crap, apparently the staff too. Don't think I want to go here much again.
Delicious pizza I got the pepperoni and sausage it was so delicious, I got cheese calzone was good but soggy, could have been cooked a little longer, I also got the dinner salad was fresh pretty filling and delicious. But overall I love this pizzeria.
This night I received a dang near half Burnt Buffalo chicken pizza) and while eating , The chicken/bread was very tough to chew . Now this was pretty disappointing because I’ve had this pizza multiples times and it is actually good aside from the very very generous amount of Buffalo sauce they put sometimes . in person you can very clearly see it’s way overcooked and they still decided to box it up . When I realized the driver was gone I noticed I didn’t get the extra blue cheese on the side I paid for . At this point I didn’t even feel the need to call back because they had already taken an hour to deliver the food so I assumed it was already pretty busy so I called back the next afternoon . When I called back I explained the extra blue cheese that I didn’t receive issue and the response I got is what hit it on the nail for me . “ we are not going to send someone for a 0.75 cent worth of blue cheese “ Mind you , I offered to pay the driver even tho it wasn’t my mistake and the place is literally right up the street . I don’t care if the blue cheese was half a cent , every customer should have these issues resolved no matter how much money we spend with them . I paid for it and I’m a pretty frequent customer ! The overcooked pizza wasn’t so much the issue because I care more so about the service and the principles these businesses abide by .
We went in to order some subs for football. Now only 3 subs mind you. There was only 1 table in the place when we got there, we were the only ones ordering. After our order was taken, yes some other people came in. About 35 minutes later I asked about our order and the guy with gray hair and beard told us they were really busy. When it finally came out he gave it to us with an attitude. My husband told him his service sucks and he got in my husband's face "excuse me " he says. Then goes on to tell us how we don't get it, how busy they are. We owned a restaurant for 36 years. Yeah we get it. Food was fine, service sucked!!!!!
Okay pizza. Slightly over priced. Staff is always miserable late at night. Quite honestly, the atmosphere could be more welcoming if the staff actually cared about their jobs. But, it is nice at 3am when you need some carbs to soak up a belly full of beer.
Ordered 2 large pies for takeout on Sunday. Have gotten pizza, by the slice or whole pie for years from here. Quality definitely not what it used to be. Can’t believe we spent almost $40 for what was lucky to be generously worth $15.
Pizza Bono has never failed me. Eating here throughout the last 15 years has been great. Tonight I ordered from there, my first time delivery, Idk if it's new workers or busy or what but I asked for 3 slices of pepperoni pizza and I got 3 cheese slices with cold uncooked pepperoni thrown on top. I know this isn't normal Bono's pizza but something happened tonight and I am sad.
We had a cheese pizza, a bacon pizza and a margarita pizza. We felt the first two were very good but thought the tomato sauce on the margarita pizza was far too liquidy. In our opinion a thicker tomato sauce would have been much better. The toppings fell right off the dough. Staff was really nice and very helpful. Atmosphere was a little dated but very presentable and clean.
Last time I was there there was a young drunk employee being obnoxiously loud and annoying. One would think management would be smart enough to send her home but they didn't seem to notice how drunk she was. My wife and I couldn't even finish our food before we had enough and left.
Over twenty years ago my wife had quite a few slices of the famous "cold cheese slice" that Pizza Bono boasts. Always at 2am after a night of college level drinking. She had one again and now realizes that it is best for the younger folk after a night of drinking. As a first timer I tried the regular cheese slice and enjoyed it. Nice flavor and plenty of cheese. Also tried a sicilian slice and while nice an dense it lacked ample cheese. Still a nice flavor. The kids had the spaghetti and meatballs and my six year old destroyed it. In fairness he would have done the same to a can of generic spaghetti so who's to say if it was good. It looked good anyway. The salad my daughter had was fresh and good. They bring you a small plate of a hot garlic bread type dish and that was very good. Solid three star pizza joint. The staff is friendly and the place is clean, always a plus. Give them a try if you are in the area.
Not one to ever leave a review but I’m honestly just really mad. I ordered from them at 2 in the morning, I know it’s gonna be a wait obviously on a Saturday night. My sister also ordered from them 20 minutes after I did. She received her food. I did not. I ordered on slice, and she got in contact with the store. If you want a store that will actually deliver you your food or even the correct food, this is not the store for you. They will just hand you random boxes and hope it’s the right one. This is the messaged I received after from slice:
I've always liked Pizza Bono. Whether it's dine in, take out, or delivery. However my delivery order (from the Slice app) from last night was 25 minutes late and was, at best, room temp.
I ordered one medium pepperoni pizza.. They are 1.5 miles from my house and I wasnt feeling well, so I ordered delivery. $16.00 with delivery, that's fine. They said 30-40 minutes, after an hour, I called. He said it was already out for deliveryAnd because the roads are bad, maybe it was taking more time. I waited another half an hour and they finally showed up . 1.5 miles away.😡😡 I dont believe it was already out for delivery. They probably forgot, which was the additional half hour...Unacceptable
Did not have a good experience at all and this one today was my boiling point. Received attitude over the phone when asking for specific ingredients in a salad, on for the guy on the phone to list two of the ingredients and serve me a salad with thing I do not like/am allergic to. They also got the dressing for my girlfriends salad wrong. Also went to pick up my food and the owner/guy I spoke with on the phone was not wearing a mask. He never put one on and dealt with us within 6 feet still wearing no mask.
Ordered a simple cheese pie, usually food is great but this time the pizza showed up looking like the delivery driver flipped the box over and smashed the pie all over the box. The manager had the audacity to be disrespectful while I called back to address the issue.
Food always tastes great and is always missing something. Missing the side salad, a dipping sauce you ordered, always one thing is not there. Also they charge an extra fee for using a credit card. They advertise it as a cash discount but it's just their way to make tou pay the CC fee.
I don't know what it is like at the restaurant, but for delivery, my experience was pretty bad. I was told 40 minutes, which is fine. But it was an hour and a half and it was delivered cold. Would not recommend delivery from them. Maybe it was a bad night for some reason, but... I'd recommend you spend your money elsewhere if you want to have a warm pizza. Mine looked like it had been on a counter overnight when I opened it.
Their pizza is delicious…but the service from the young woman at the register stated the following to me. One occasion: they don’t do pick up… I called back and spoke to someone different who said otherwise. The 2nd: they had no pepperoni, but negated the fact that it was coming out of the oven. Whenever you go hope you don’t get that you d lady who needs training in customer service. The pizza is delicious though: next occurrence I switch to another pizza place!
The pizza used to be perfect not too greasy, hot and the toppings stayed on, Now it seems the last few times I've ordered and eaten in the food quality just isn't there anymore. I was so disappointed the last time I got pizza I threw it away at the next gas station. The pizza was cold and the toppings slid off, the amount of water on the pizza from the veggies was unlike anything I've seen. If you enjoy pizza don't waste your time here you will be very disappointed.
I suggest you order for pick up or in-store. I usually love this place, but recent delivery was 25 minutes later than they said it would be (and I ordered at 3:45 in the afternoon, not at dinner time), food was cold, they forgot an item, AND the garlic knots I ordered were not cooked. Again, if you are in person, this place is great. But they need to up the delivery quality check process.
Theirs five pineapple bits in that one slice. The light kinda makes it POP but no. That's not even my order. I asked for bacon and ham and pineapple. No bacon. At all. Fair ham strips but oh man that pineapple. That was like old pineapple, flavorless . And the sause bro, what sauce? That was crust and cheese such as it was. I'd order extra cheese if I was gonna order again . But where da sauce? Yer marinara, you thing that makes a pizza? I mean I guess this was a fluke. What the heck happened, I know y'all do better.
Need to fix web site pricing. Way Off! Great on delivery and times. Pizza very good but not cut through. We are at a camp site. Forgot to ask for plates and utensils and were not asked if needed. We asked for all dressed and it seems it is not all dressed but mostly pepperoni.
It's absolute garbage. No matter what you order, you will get something slimey and dissatisfying. I've given this restaurant several chances that it has squandered. The pizza is only good under a mountain of parmesan cheese-and only after getting drunk at one of the bars around the block. They literally throw half a tub of ricotta and a handful of mozzarella in pizza dough and call it a calzone, the poutine has the worst gravy ever with undercooked french fries and as little cheese as they can get away with, and the meatball subs are unseasoned and abysmal. My boyfriend took one bite and couldn't bring himself to eat any more of it. The employees seem like they get high before they come to work and the owner is curt with customers. He throws a tantrum if you tell him you didn't like your food-we found that out the hard way when my boyfriend couldn't eat his $8 cardboard sandwich. He threw the takeout container and started yelling. They are unprofessional and wouldn't have a reason to be offended if they put in more effort with their food. Don't listen to the hype. Go down the block and get food from somewhere that cares about more than drunk kids' money.
jusy so you know there 1 stars are catching up to there 5 stars. if i was them i start reevaluating there business. I called them for an anti pasta salad and wings that were not breaded and I got a chef salad with ham and salami, wings that were breaded and ice cold, which i would like to say the driver apologized because they were down a driver tonight and a non antiipasta salad with no fork to eat it. I called and spoke to the manager and he told me that I should no tell him that the food he has had for thirty years was not antipasta salad. when it blatantly was not then he told me that should of requested a fork. I'm staying st a motel, do I look like I have a fork. and then he tells me to get one at the reception desk of the motel (really dude) I just payed $30 fo this food and there isn't even an apology for there mistakes. please think twice before ordering g from here
DON’T WASTE YOUR TIME. I ordered from them through Uber eats for the very first time and my order never came. My order was supposed to arrive at 12:35 a.m and at 12:36 I called asking for a specific delivery time. They then told me that the delivery person was on their way. At, 12:55(my latest arrival time) I called again and was told that the delivery person is on their way, and I gave them my number a second time for them to reach out as I was told they didn’t have a number for me(which is absolutely stupid, because it’s Uber eats. They already have access to my info). I called at 1:18, as I was outside waiting in the cold for my food and kind you it was 52 degrees. I called again at 1:30 after being so frustrated, and the customer service guy was so disrespectful saying I should just call uber and get my money back, lying through his teeth saying that his delivery person came and called me many times meanwhile I’ve been outside waiting for forever with ZERO missed calls on my phone and I’ve called them over 10 times. He then hung up one me. This was my first time ordering here and never again. I checked with 3 of my other friends and they said something similar happened as they all ordered from there b4.
My husband and I ordered take out from here quite a bit seeing as how they’re the only place open at 2 am downtown, we both work nights so we expect to get what we pay for when we order our food. We’ve had multiple issues all the way up to waiting 3 hours for our food when we only live right down the road ( why we get take out now), even picking up our take out to go home and find out that they boxed and OLD, HARD & COLD pizza, and not to mention not even receiving our food (twice) even after we paid for it ahead of time. The very last time we got take out I ordered the boneless chicken WINGS, when I picked up my order and got home I opened up my container to realize they gave me CUT UP CHICKEN FINGERS! ( that’s not even close to being the same thing) SO! Tonight, at 2 am, 2/25/20, When my husband was on the phone ordering he made sure to ask that they had actual boneless wings, and the gentleman that answered our phone call supposedly went and double checked that they had them, he said they indeed had the actual boneless wings in this time, and reassured me I wouldn’t be getting cut up chicken tenders. What do you know, we go to pick up our food, I check my container to make sure it’s actual boneless wings, and once again, it’s cut up chicken tenders. So I explained to the gentleman that’s not what I asked for and we even called ahead of time to confirm that they had them and was told they in fact did, well he proceeds to argue with me saying I’m wrong and don’t know what I’m talking about, so. I told him we order pizza and wings quite a bit, and we have NEVER gotten served cut up chicken tenders before, he again screamed at me that I didn’t know what I was talking about and that not all places have the same items, which I get, but boneless wings are boneless wings. He said they were boneless wings, so I showed him where they were all cut to shreds, and he then told me that’s just because they’re extremely big boneless wings, heads over to the freezer and pulls out a bag of CHICKEN TENDERS, and continued to yell at me saying I didn’t know what I was talking about. So I said that’s fine sir, but this isn’t what I ordered. The second after I said that he snatched the container out of my hand and threw it across his kitchen and it went everywhere, then he walked up to the register, getting my money out, calling me names under his breath, then slams my money down on his counter so hard I thought it was going to break. I wouldn’t of bothered writing this if he hadn’t been cursing at me and yelling claiming I was wrong and didn’t know what I was talking about . Grateful he gave me back half of my money, pretty upset about the way he handled it. So if you have a family dinner, or wanna bring your kids out to get a slice to eat, I definitely would 110% NOT recommend Pizza Bono. It is FAR from a friendly place, let alone family friendly. Sorry for such a long post, but people should know. Before it happens to them.
Ordered a medium chicken bbq pizza with extra onions. 75 minutes later it arrived like warm. It didn’t taste like bbq sauce at all. It tasted like watered down ketchup and brown sugar. Called and the put the manager on after being told excuses like it’s premium bbq sauce and nothing was wrong with our pizza he hung up on us. At least the cheese didn’t have hair in it this time. RIP pizza it’s in the trash what a waste of money. Terrible food terrible management.
Absolutely not a good experience was told the order would take 1 hour it took 2 hours then to not get three of the items I ordered . So I sent it back with the delivery guy. I called to tell them.i was not pleased with the service . And whoever the rude girl is on the line might want to find a new job we're people are not apart of the job description. Never again
They have absolutely zero customer service ability I waited two hours for food and when I lodged the complaint and asked for replacement food they said sure we got you we got you and then when I actually called back to try to recoup my money or get replacement food for the lousy s*** that they sent me they blew me off. I've had friends who try to work their these are money-grubbing people. $2.50 for a plain slice is outrageous we're talking ketchup cheap cheese and cardboard 250
Ordered with coupons Over 70.00 guess we will never order from them again. I was mislead on everything and when pizza finally arrive after over an hour by a very nice girl. The large pizza wasn't even cut !
They were so rude we came from jersey and wanted to try a local pizza place. We went and we were tired after a 4 hour drive and were hungry we were looking at the menu and a male server goes it is not that hard hurry up we looked at the menu for less them 15 sec9nds never again
If you are good with mediocre pizza and terrible service with a trashy atmosphere this place is for you. The staff are often rude and they'll get to you when they feel like it, maybe. It's a college kids bar that serves pizza late night. So if you go late, be prepared for a place packed full of drunken students. Loud and obnoxious. The staff will be the kind of staff that has to tolerate that all night. If you go during the day, maybe you get good service, but most likely you will be forgotten. Best option, get 3rd party delivery and don't visit the place yourself. The pizza will be as good as any other pizza place in Plattsburgh, but that isn't anything special. At least with delivery, you won't be insulted by their staff.
Placed a order tonight and the guy was extremely rude and disrespectful we have always ordered from this place and tonight was the last time we will ever place a order and will let family and friends no how they like to treat customers definitely going to make a complaint to the owner himself they should hire people that wants to do their job and not some disrespectful dirt bags
This place is absolutely awful. Each and every time I have gone in the staff has been completely disrespectful and this is the second time they accepted payment for food and did not give me my food or money back. I recommend trying Guiseppies pizza up town.
Well I tried ordering a stuffed pizza like I have for the the last 21+ plus years! Both workers tried telling me it only comes with cheese and I have to tell them what else I want! Tried to explain it’s on their menu and hasn’t changed in years and they both acted like I was crazy! Not sure what’s happening as of late but I ordered a calzone last week and didn’t even get sauce and it tasted horrible. Was hoping I would go with the tried and true stuffed pizza but I guess it’s all different now! I’m assuming it must be new owners or they just don’t care anymore!
They don’t care their single locking bathroom door doesn’t lock. I went there and used the bathroom, making sure to lock the door. During my time in there, two people walked in on me despite confirming the door was locked each time. I told a worker I had seen there many times before, and he just shrugged. I did not test this with the women’s door, but the implications of a locking door that doesn’t actually lock are creepy.
I ate here allll the time and it used to be my go to place, I mean I live right next to it. But couple months ago I got a couple slices and it ended up having a bunch of clumped up and even single strands of black hair baked into the cheese and under the pepperoni. I thought it was just my slice and my partner found them in his slice too. I almost puked it was so gross. I don’t know if it was something the one person who made it did or if someone dropped the slices on the floor n picked them up n put them back etc idk I have no idea and maybe it was a one time thing but after that I have not eaten there again. And I legit bought pizza there daily!!! It was my go to dinner. I can’t bring myself to eat there again after this
A colleague told me about this place. I figured i would give it a shot. The guys at the counter are nice. That’s about it. Pizza is soggy, oily, and sweet. I regret having gone here. If you are a drunk college kid, fine this is your spot, if you are looking for decent pizza, go anywhere else
It’s so inconsistent this pizza, I got it yesterday but it was so delicious that I went ahead and placed an order online but to my surprise it was so unpleasant 😩 the dough had no flavor plus it was so dry and bitter. Also not enough sauce literally it was like half of teaspoon per slice and the cheese ratio was missing in action. I will try it again and give you guys my honest thoughts.
Ive tried giving this establishment the benefit of the doubt for their food multiple times. Always leave feeling like I settled for mediocre. Everything Ive order food it feels as though I am inconveniencing them by providing my business. Service is slow and inefficient. Pizza and wings are basic. Honestly unpleasant experience all around. I know many woman who avoid their venue due to the crowd they attracts in fear of creeps.
I ordered two meals with sides on door dash. Half of the order was correct. When the food was delivered, I did not receive what I paid for. No salad, no listed entree, and no customer service. I was not worried about the money, or having more food sent. My phone call was solely informational. The supervisor I spoke to simply blamed everything o Doordash. I am a long time resident of Plattsburgh, very often patronizing Bono on sunday evenings. The person I spoke to is a liar, and his justifications made no sense. My son ordered a chicken parm dinner. He received no salad. A typical entree comes in a 9inch tin. I ordered linguini with meat sauce. What I received was a 5 inch side order container of noodles with plain marinara sauce, and no salad. This child portion or side order cost $15+ dollars. I am upset at being lied to and cheated, you deserve better. Avoid this eatery.
Unfortunately a very poor experience. I got the lobster ravioli which was undercooked and I couldn’t eat more than one bite of. One of the staff members was upset and openly swearing around the restaurant (where there were also kids present). Their AC unit was making a loud noise right above us that was also irritating. Server was okay but didn’t seem to know the menu at all, as she asked us about 5 follow up questions regarding our order. My family member got the chicken Alfredo which was good and well cooked. I won’t be dining here again.
Quality of food and service absolutely nill. I ordered delivery and waited an hour and they hadn't even left yet. The guy gave me a hard time about calling them back after 50 minutes of not getting my order. Hung up on me after swearing at me. Not a difficult order. Pizza and wings. March 29th. Asked for refund still haven't got it. Ordered again tonight to see how things should go. An hour and 15 minutes went by.. I called them she said we're so sorry he's going to come now, as if they forgot about it. BOTH TIMES I SENT A $5 TIP IN ADVANCE AND I'M RIGHT DOWN THE ROAD FROM THEM.
