Why is their food tastier here then back in Montreal? I don't get it. It's actually edible for starters. Let me rephrase, I can actually start to eat this food properly and be able to then taste something from it than the chicken they serve back in Montreal. November 7 update: better than last time!

The food was cooked thoroughly, the service was congenial, and the dinning room was clean and newly renovated gone are the high standing chairs and tables the place looked more cozy and inviting. We truly e joked our dining experience and plan on going back. Oh also the prices were reasonable, they had a lot of meal specials available to choose from.

So far all the times that I went to get my meal I was in and out through the drive-thru within 5 minutes and I've been pretty happy with my food. Plus they have a wonderful associate by the name of Amber. She works the drive thru and gives your food at the window. Stop by and say hi. Let her boss know she's great. Pass the goodness to others.

The staff was profesional, my 8 pc baket menu and apples turnovers as always, delicious, nothing was missing from my order,no bugs under the skin flop as per some previous reviews, everything was normal including the price adjusted for inflation of cause, like everywhere else,but that's life,and we have to live it ! I will go again and look forward to have a good time at KFC in Plattsburgh !

It has been a while since I have visited a KFC. I had the '3 tender meal'. As one can imagine, the chicken was delicious. The fries were excellent, better than other fast service food restaurants I have been at lately.

The food was good, well cooked and I love the coleslaw. I didn't go inside but sat at one of the outside tables. If you're on the larger side like me, it's probably be better to go inside.

Do not often go to KFC due to calories but on occasion indulge 😊 The oven was down so no biscuits but comped an extra side. The coleslaw is delicious, the chicken quite good and cooked properly. Tried the new Mac and Cheese...very good!! Kudos to staff...and Asst Mgr Heather.

They didn't have thighs in either original or crispy so they gave me legs. They were okay.

Their times can take alittle long for some of their orders, however I will say that their food still comes out high quality! This KFC is better in customer service than some of the other food vendors in the city...

as someone who’s had kfc too many times, I can say it’s fire. It’s my favorite fast food place in town but sometimes they mess up. I only order the spicy chicken sandwich meal with fries and it’s fire almost every time besides when the fries have zero seasoning and are old. It upsets me because when their fries are at peak level it’s 5 stars but when they decide to give me the worst fries to roam this planet it’s literally 0 stars. I CAN SAY that most of the time they give the good fries but this should never be a problem. Am I too passionate about kfc fries? Yeah maybe.. but like I’d rather have a subpar chicken sandhwich and good fries rhen a good chicken sandwich and subpar fries bc if my fries are messed up it ruins my meal. Anyways kfc is so fire, prices are so low compared to Wendy’s and other places. Do your elf a favor and get the Spicy chicken sandwich, fries and Mountain Dew sweet lightning. I kid you not when everything’s made right, Im taking that chicken sandwich over any other sandwich, Im taking those fries over any. Other fries and that drink, that refreshing drink. Extra crispy chicken was inedible. The meat was OK once I got to that. Soupy mashed potatoes and gravy. Coleslaw was great!! And the biscuit was absolutely amazing.

Service was very prompt and polite. Another KFC that puts up one price for a meal but actually charges more. Ask for orginal recipe, but they only had crispy, they didn't even suggest a wait time for orginal, just said they didn't have it.

Came to eat back at KFC this day because I was in the mood for some chicken tenders. Mind you, I've come to this KFC many times before. Something has changed? The chicken had this weird spice to it and was darker than usual?? Plus, I almost cracked my tooth on a piece while eating. The funny part is that it wasnt over cooked or burnt. Whatever new recipe you're doing because of the competition needs to stop. I took apart the chicken. The crust was my favorite, and now I was spitting it out.

I have had some mixed experiences at this local KFC. Additionally, I've noticed that the food is on the saltier side, so it's worth considering your dietary preferences when ordering. One significant change I've observed is the pricing; in 2020, I could purchase a 16-piece strip for around $12.99, but now it has increased to $41.79. It would be great if they could evaluate their pricing and consider keeping it more affordable for customers. Overall, I think there's potential for improvement in both service consistency and value for money. I do want to add the famous bowl is always a really good Go-To.

KFC chicken is always good but it's expensive, it's a very rare treat. This was our second time dining in before catching a college game. On both occasions this location appears to be very short staffed. You can see the two workers were doing the best they could to get through the many orders. Wish the kitchen was blocked off from view so you don't have to witness the employees running around to fulfill orders. It was a little wait for the food but it was understandable. The side portions are very small for the price. The dining area was overall pretty clean, the TV was broken and glitching.

Service seriously sucks. Always get orders wrong. And just sat in he drove through for 20 minutes 2 cars in front of me. No one behind me. 2 cars in lot. Maybe if they went so high all the time they would get it right

Myself and my family went to the plattsburgh store to get dinner , we got it togo and when we got home in rouses pt , we found that they didnt gives us a side and the new turnover tasted so bluhhh and salty . it was a very unpleasment experience . i called to complain abd the woman hung up on me , very unprofessionful

Well they said I couldn't change my 12 piece from wings drums thighs and breast to just thighs and breast because they'd run out of chicken. Umm what that's all they make there how would you run out.

Ordered a two piece meal with a biscut mashed potates and gravy and a large coleslaw. They didnt have any biscuts so they offered to give the large coleslaw in its place. Sounded good. Got home to a two piece with a river of gravy in a potate container,a large container of potates and no coleslaw at all. Its not a difficult order. i mean it was also slow at the time. id hate to see how messed up it gets when its busy.

What happened to your recipe! I think someone’s lid fell off the salt shaker. Out of 4 of us, the salt was so heavy, not one person could eat it. AND the mashed potatoes were stale! You loss my business for sure.

Ordering ahead was easy it was after that was disappointing. Our drinks had no ice in them, our 8 piece nugget had only 5 small pieces in the box. The chicken they use for the sandwiches tasted as if they were in the warmer for too long, very tough to chew. And as always the dipping sauces were forgotten with our order. I understand it's a fast paced environment but attention to detail would be key for a better experience especially given the amount of money you spend for such mediocre portions.

Dropped by for a chicken sandwich. Ordered took awhile but the restaurant completely ran out if napkins. Other customers we not happy. Employee said they would go across to Taco Bell to get more but they never did.

Did a carryout order for a gathering. Ordered a 12 piece tenders meal that comes with three sides. They forgot one of the sides. Also ordered two drumsticks. The cashier left twice to go ask questions about how to put it in the system, which in itself isn't terrible because everyone has to learn. When we got to the house we ended up with two thighs. Not sure how that happened. Should've checked the accuracy of the order in the parking lot. Not worth the drive back from the house to correct it.

I went through the drive thru and paid in cash. The worker took my money but didn't give me my change back. I asked her for it and she said, you get no change. She owed me 10.00 dollars and insisted I gave exact change. The manager got involved and rudely said I would need to wait while the cash drawer was counted. About 30 minutes later, I had to ask what was going on. The worker scurried away and another person came forward and handed me 2 five dollar bills. No apologies or explanation. I would not recommend

Bought 8 pieces of extra crispy chicken, got biscuits and coleslaw, coleslaw was good and fresh , biscuits weren’t baked enough, tasted half cooked, some pieces of chicken were old & dry ; looked and tasted stale, the coating was not evenly distributed , the flakes were way too big, it was not a good experience to buy food that was not fresh or properly done, that is why the Too Good to go app exists so left over food can be used up and not disguise to be sold as fresh the next day , staff was friendly and service was fast, i plan to return the portions bc i just couldn’t finish it bc it was so bad

Easily the worst fast food place in upstate New York. The manager, Nadeem, sexually harasses his female employees and openly allows the rest of the male employees to do the same. Customers frequently complain about the vile bathrooms, some saying that they can't even use them because the environment is vomit-inducing. The food is sloppily prepared and of a very low quality, even for KFC's standards. I couldn't recommend enough that you stay far far away from this horrible establishment.

Mess up my drink by giving me a mountain dew instead of what I order being a diet Pepsi and gave me the wrong sandwich .then when I went to get it fixed didn't get to talk to anybody waited 20 minutes said screw it fixed my drink and asked some workers I saw off the clock if they could grab my sauce at least . Three years ago I gave three stars and haven't visited again until today. Gave them another shot and, except for the biscuit, it's now mostly garbage. Extra crispy chicken was severely overdone and dried out. The third piece in the box appeared to be a wing was nothing but batter and bones. Famous Bowl was tremendously oversalted. Went to KFC this afternoon for Nashville Hot Wings and the person at register informed me that they were not making wings of any kind today and gave no explanation. Good way to lose our large family as future customers.

On 09/03/14 at 4:40 PM I was at your store and purchased a 12 Tenders Meal, Ticket # 3358, for $20.51. I drove home, which is a 45 minute drive. We sat down to eat and found the biscuits were not in the bag. Having no biscuits with the meal is the same as ordering Chinese take-out and and finding no rice. I immediately called your store and left a message for the manager to call me. I have not received a call. BIG DISSAPOINTMENT.

I don’t know how this kfc is still in business! The manager needs to be fired. It is super dirty. Servers touching food with no gloves. Not only was there one long hair in a mash potato bowl but there was two hairs stuck together. The workers are not inviting and act like they hate their job.

Ordered online. Was supposed to be ready at 5:15. I got there about 5:20. It was 6pm before I got my food. Then, when I did get it I checked it. It was incorrect. They didn't care. There were multiple people walking out. Worst KFC ever. This is the second time something like this has happened at this location.

I went through the drive through and ordered the 8 piece meal, and when I got home with (40 miles away) the bucket had 4 legs 4 thighs. I was so disappointed but was not driving 40 miles to bring it back. Needless to say had a very disappointed family!

Terrible customer service.. rude and slow. This place always seems extremely dirty as well. If you go in there, take a look at the work area behind the counter and you'll see food and garbage all over the floor and counters. Instead of cleaning up, the workers just continue to step over it. DISGUSTING. I like the chicken, but 2 out of 3 times the order is wrong. Reached out to customer service and was ignored. The manager of this dump needs to be fired and workers need a serious attitude adjustment.

I went to go get a bucket of chicken on Tuesday and was told they didn't have any chicken for a bucket. Also it was at 5 pm. I think it is awfully that a chicken place doesn't have enough chicken to be able to have it for customers. I don't know if I will ever go back to KFC again

Ordered tenders and sides, got sides and dipping sauce, no tenders. When I called the guy who made the order, said "oh yeah I forgot the tenders, sorry" and nothing else. Asked what time they closed, said he didn't know if they would still be opened when my fiance was sent back out to pickup the rest of our food. :(

We haven’t eaten at KFC in years. We were very much looking forward to crispy chicken and the new Mac n cheese bowl. We ate in the restaurant and the food was ready in less than 60 seconds. The Mac and cheese bowl was warm at best. I’ve had better dollar store brand Mac n cheese. The chicken on top was soggy and cold. The crispy chicken tenders were not crispy, the fries were warm, soggy and over salted. Never again will I eat at this KFC but I will try again in another area. The staff was kind, the food was terrible. Two thumbs down.

horrible.. extremely slow, soda has fizz but zero taste, fries were way to salty and absolutely nasty tasting, chicken tenders were ok but rather soft like they were sitting for a while, KFC bowl no longer comes in a bowl? it came in a paper drink style cup that was absolutely gross... cup got soft, the way things were layered in the tiny cup made it nasty also. not impressed with how horrible it has become and will not return and DO NOT recommend anyone wasting their time or money here.. it was our first trip in a long time and highly disappointed

Evening supervisor, Donny, and I spoke about my order. I had ordered 3 combo meals and 2 fries were missing. When I called he let me know that he saw there was only one order if fries in the bag. He gave it to us anyway. I live a bit away s so did not want to drive back to pick up at 8:00 pm. He refused to replace the meals and insisted giving us the fries we ordered and paid for was enough on his part. I guess giving my money and time doesn't matter to them. Especially since he knew only one frie was in for the three combos.

Same great taste , just I'm a drumstick fan and somehow they've shrank to about half the size from a year ago. You'll be lucky to make it a two biter. It's a extra burn since I like to have them switch the breasts for drumsticks, and you figure it would be too equal weight, but it's one for one, except the breasts always weigh more and in this case now are easily double the size of these drumsticks that aren't much bigger than chicken wings🤷🏼‍♂️

Again order wrong only about 90% of the time when you go there they get it wrong. They gave us butter, but no biscuits this time last time mashed potatoes, but no gravy time before that order an extra gravy they didn’t provide it just charge us for it. I’m glad the new wings are back. They’d be better if they weren’t fried so bad that they are like eating a rock.

My mom and I went through the drive thru. We ordered 12 PC strips family meal with a bunch of sauces, with 2 mac n cheese, one coleslaw and substitute 8 cornbread for the biscuits (they charge extra for) and 2 drinks. My mom paid and they had us pull forward. The girl bought out the order. My mom had to go back in to get our 2 drinks. We drove back to our home in Mooers only to discover they really messed up. We got 10 strips, no sauces, 2 Mac n cheese, 2 coleslaw, no cornbread or biscuits and a kids nugget meal (that we did not order)! They really screwed us. We tried calling several times and it just rang so long the fax machine picked up at least 9 times!

But when sitting and eating the food there were two employees arguing with each other, and one person was talking about how much he would get if worked some where else. KFC—Still Finger Lickin’ Good, but This Location? More Like Finger Pointin’ Bad. Let me just start off by saying—I love KFC. Always have. That crispy chicken, buttery biscuits, mashed potatoes with that golden brown gravy… heaven. So when we roll up to our local KFC in our small town, we’re excited. Hungry. Ready. We waited about 15–20 minutes in line. No big deal—it’s a busy spot. But the real issue? It’s the every single time we go here, there’s a mess-up. And I don’t mean a small oopsie. I mean… we got all the way downtown only to realize they forgot a large mac and cheese, the extra sauces, and the chicken. You heard me—the chicken. So we turn around and head back. At this point, it’s about principle. I ask to speak with a manager. The girl at the window says she is the manager. Okay, cool. I explain the situation and ask if they can please just remake the food since now it’s cold and we’ve wasted even more time. They say no—they’ll just replace what’s missing. But at this point, everything’s cold, so yes, it all needs to be redone. Common sense, right? Instead of any empathy or customer service, I’m met with “aha, yup, aha” like a broken record on autopilot. Not an ounce of professionalism, not even a flicker of courtesy. Just passive-aggressive nonsense. Then we ask about the new Duncan bowl—do they come with sauce? We’re told yes, it comes with two gravies. But somehow, the Famous Bowl we ordered with extra gravy and cheese magically turns into a basic bowl with barely anything added and definitely not what we paid for. And here’s the kicker: I’m told that the receipt looks different because there’s no tax on the remake—it’s a “giveaway.” Um, no. It’s not a “giveaway” when it’s a remake due to your mistake. Big difference. At this point, I gave up. I didn’t even get asked what sauce I wanted for the chicken. I was going to order ranch, but I was cut off like my input didn’t matter. Instead of getting an apology for the inconvenience, we were made to feel like we were the inconvenience. Like a couple of “Karens” coming back to complain over cold chicken. And the fries? Don’t even get me started. The first batch was decent. The second one? I’m lucky if I got 12 fries. Maybe 13 if we count the one broken in half. It felt intentional. Here’s the truth: the KFC brand is iconic. The food, when done right, is absolutely worth the wait. But this location? It needs a serious attitude adjustment. Fast food workers don’t need to be perfect—but basic professionalism, communication, and actually giving people what they paid for shouldn’t be too much to ask. I’ve worked in food service. I get it. But treating grown paying adults like they’re a problem is not it. This isn’t a teenager-only clubhouse—it’s a place people come to spend money on food they expect to be right and hot. Do better, Plattsburgh KFC. Because right now? You’re giving more “cold leftovers and sass” than “finger lickin’ good.”

I found a bug underneath a flap of skin of a thigh (see pictures ) 2 weeks ago. Research on the Internet said it was a kitchen bug. I contacted the local health department, but have not received anything back from them. I would have preferred to contact the manager directly, but was unable to verify who that is. I loved KFC and was a customer for the past 40+ years. Unfortunately, I can never bring myself to buy anything from them again.
