La comida es deliciosa. Buenísima materia prima y platos muy bien elaborados. Pocos sitios reúnen la posibilidad de contar con entrantes, platos principales y postres con el mismo nivel de calidad. Sí visito Cádiz de nuevo, volveré sin dudarlo. Y la atención, misma calidad y mucha calidez, como todo en Cádiz

Excelente experiencia en Lazo, Cádiz. Un lugar encantador con una atención cálida y cercana por parte de Ana y Eduardo, que desde que ingresamos nos hicieron sentir como en casa. Las sugerencias que nos hicieron fueron muy acertadas y ricas, reflejando el cariño y la pasión con la que trabajan. Los platos, además de deliciosos, están cuidadosamente preparados y presentados. Sin duda, un sitio para volver y recomendar a quienes busquen disfrutar de buena comida y un ambiente auténtico en Cádiz. 🌿🍷

Hemos ido en dos ocasiones para cenar. Las papas aliñadas, para nosotros, son las mejores de Cádiz. Luego el atún, tanto tataki como a la plancha muy muy bueno. Personal encantador.

Hemos venido mi amiga y yo de fuera y no podemos haber salido más contentos de nuestra cena. Las carrilleras buenísimas, al igual que el jamón, el queso y las papas aliñadas. Sin embargo, la tarta jerezana se lleva la corona. El servicio increíble; atentos y muy, muy amables. Volvería sin duda.

Llamamos para pedir mesa un martes de Carnaval y nos ofrecieron una mesa avisándonos de que era mesa alta. La comida muy rica, pescado del día, buena carne y buena oferta de entrantes. El servicio excepcional, todos muy amables, pero queremos hacer mención especial a Vicky. Profesionalidad y excelente trato. Una maravilla.

Comer en casa Lazo es acierto seguro. Comida honesta, tradicional, sin florituras pero con excelente calidad del producto y muy bien cocinada. Todo sale puntual y el ambiente es de barullo pero agradable y hogareño. Servicio eficiente y atención siempre súper amable y cordial. Muy recomendable.

One of the best dinners that I ever have in a long time. Owner was very gracious to offer nos a table in an already completely reserved restaurant. Our waiter completely understood the kind of wine that we want to have with the dinner and offered a sample to see if this was what I was looking to have with my meal. They offers us potato’s and carrots in olive oil with the most delicious garnish. The gambas al ajillo and the steak solomillo was out of this world !Congratulations to the chefs and owner!!! This was the best beautifull evening of an already quite amazing holidays! Traveling for a week in the area, we coincidently settled down for a quick dinner, and were surprised by the warm hospitable welcome, the family feeling, the effort taken to create a special dish “on request”, the quality of the food, and the well pairing wines! We saved the best til last. Final night of a week in this gorgeous city. What a special place to eat, taste and enjoy all Cadiz has to offer. This was earmarked as a top spot from vlogs and reviews and we were not disappointed we turned without a reservation @ 8pm . Chose a high table at the bar and were welcomed with a genuine warmth and friendliness by the owner. - a complimentary dish of potatoes and carrots arrived almost immediately . We ordered croquettes, gambas pili pili( absolutely banging! A real favourite for the OH, dish was sizzling and sweet. He was delighted with this dish. Then meat all the way with “ Iberico pork and lamb chops. Both excellent but for me the pork was the standout taste: sweet, lean and so yummy, Two lovey glasses of red, a few beers. Delightful service,fo all the staff/ clearly popular as by 8-15?the place was full. What a tee! They work as a cohesive unit, tempting plates of food passed us by and we wanted to try everything we saw!!!! An outstanding place!!! All about the vibe, hands down better then the more classy/expensive restaurants in the city ( IMHO) - this will be the first place we go back to when we are next in the city in February. Cadiz is a city that just keeps on giving!!!

This place is a gem , we went twice would have gone more if we had time. The white and red prawns are cooked to perfection best I have ever had. We also had sea flowers! They have their own casa lazo iberico must try. The staff also so kind you can tell it’s a family business they are really invested in good service and high quality produce. 10/10 would visit Cadiz just for this week place alone.

A very popular tapas restaurant offering high quality food and wine. We had the artichokes with ham, grilled squid and the tuna. They were all excellent but the tuna stands out as being the best tuna I have ever eaten. Booking is essential, but the multi lingual staff make everything very easy. Can’t recommend this place too highly. Try it, you won’t regret it.

This is the spot to hit when you are visiting Cadiz. The place was buzzing with so many calls making reservations, familiar conversations between the staff and some of the locals, and the food/drinks making their way to tables and the bar. The food was so good I couldn’t stop eating. I left stuffed. The staff was very kind and patient with non Spanish speakers, and was even giving recommendations to those who asked. I will most certainly be coming back here the next time I visit Cadiz.

Saw this reviewed by Spain Revealed on YouTube so decided to check it out myself and very glad I did too. It is not open every day so check opening days and times. My family and I went at 8.30pm on Tuesday evening and sat at a small table by the bar with 4 stools. We we given a free plate of potatoes and carrots in oil and garlic. It was a cold dish but oozing flavour. It was truly delicious. We then ordered the sizzling shrimps in oil and garlic, Iberian ham croquettes and pork cheeks on a bed a fries. All were extremely good and the service was polite, efficient and of a manner that made you feel very welcome and comfortable. The service was attentive and even though we could manage very little Spanish the waiter was patient and understanding and we ended up with everything we wanted. I tried a recommended local red wine and thar was spot on and inexpensive at €3.90 a glass. Altogether, for 4 of us it was just shy of €60. Highly recommended and I recommend seating yourself by the bar.

Wow! What an amazing place! Everyone is super friendly and kind. Very hospitable, you feel like you’re over at a friends house. Everything we ate was incredibly tasty and fresh. Even the little starter of bread, garlic carrots and potatoes was delicious. We dined here for lunch one day and nothing else compared afterwards so we had to come back for dinner our last night in Cadiz. Excellent, top notch service and food.

Todo muy bueno, camareros muy amables y simpáticos.

Local gaditano con mesas altas en barra y bajas en salon. Camareros atentos y profesionales. Carta con varias propuestas de iberico asi como mariscos y pescados. Empezamos con un lomito de presa riquisimo para picar y unas croquetas de iberico. Seguimos con unas carrilleras ibericas en salsa melosas y para finalizar un solomillo iberico. Todos los platos muy buenos y las raciones generosas. Muy recomendable en cadiz capital.

Paseando por el casco antiguo de Cádiz encontramos este bar restaurante. La comida correcta tienen buen producto,pero quizás tendrían que saber venderlo mejor, comida super sencilla pedimos croquetas de jamón bastante normales la verdad y secreto ibérico para nuestra hija de 4 años y para nosotros pedimos gambas al ajillo que no nos lo podíamos comer ya que estaban secas y había más ajos que que gambas,pero el encargado tuvo la amabilidad de cambiarnos el plato y nos recomendó gambas frescas de Huelva a la plancha y eso sí que es otra liga,luego comimos un tataki de atún super bueno y acabamos con un bacalao que habia más guarnición que bacalao pero estaba correcto,servicio amable. Apesar de todo volvería y lo recomiendo.

Casa Lazo es un imprescindible en la ruta gastronómica de Cádiz. Comimos en barra, porque tapear no se puede, parece que está ya solo enfocado a turistas. Buena carta de vinos y la ensaladilla con trozos de pulpo muy rica a un precio razonable. Pecamos de incautos al pedir fuera de carta una ensalada tradicional, con unos tomates normales, melva y género respetable, pero 13 euros fue un atentado al bolsillo. Eficiente servicio y buena atención.

The welcome and service were great. The food was nice but we felt it was quite expensive for what we got. One bottle of White Wine, one portion of 3 halved artichokes and anchovies between four to start For the main course á tomato and tinned tuna salad with a portion of raw marinated tuna and a whole sea base shared. Priced at €44/ kilo. Market price €25. Bill total = €111 ok not the most expensive but it wasn’t a lot of food. Got charged for water and bread. There is better value around.
