Comimos mi familia y yo y salimos de alli ancantados. El personal nos atendió estupendamente, la comida estaba bastante buena, el lugar, la hora, todo era perfecto. Quizas un poco tarde para la cocina, no estoy seguro si la cocina estaba apunto de cerrar o estaba abierta todo el dia. Ya que serian casi las 4 de la tarde. Estuvimos buscando un lugar para comer desde las 2 de la tarde y estaba practicamente todo cerrado. Encontramos este lugar por casualidad y la verdad que tuvimos mucha suerte, ya que la comida estaba bastante buena. Como ya dije anteriormente, fuimos 3 personas. Mi mujer, mi bebe y yo. Nos pedimos para beber 2 cervezas y un Coca-Cola, para empezar una tapa de papas aliñas , estaban muy ricas y la tapa era mas bien media ración. El aliñp estaba perfecto. Despues nos trajeron ( no recuerdo el nombre del plato) unos huevos fritos con jamon y patatas ( huevos rotos) pero con trufa. Fue un acierto ya que estaban buenisimos aunque los huevos estaban pasados de fritura. Yo, como cocinero que soy nunca los hubiera servido asi, pero eso no quita que el toque de la trufa e hizo olvidar lo del huevo. En general el plato estaba muy rico. Para terminar nos trajeron un surtido de pescado frito. La racion era bastante grande y ademas a muy buen precio. Acabamos muy muy llenos. El rebozado era perfecto. Todo esto por 37 €.en cualquier otro lado nos hubiese costado mucho mas. Llevabamos mucho tiempo queriendo comer algo de pescaito frito ya que aunque somos de cadiz ,llevamos unos años viviendo en inglaterra y ya lo echabamos de menos. Mi familia y yo comimos estupendamente alli y el personal nos trató bastante bien a pesar de que los camareros parecian bastante cansados a esa hora del dia, cosa muy entendible siendo mas de las 4 de la tarde del dia 1 de Enero. Felicitaciones a la cocina y a los chavales que nos atendieron. 100% recomendable. Muchas gracias
Un almuerzo muy agradable gracias al buen servicio y unos platos riquísimos. Totalmente recomendado el revuelto con jabuguitos.
Situado en el casco histórico de Cádiz en plena Plaza de Mina. El local no es muy grande, pero disponen de un gran espacio con mesas en la plaza. La carta es muy amplia y lo tocan todo, hay ensaladas, revueltos, tostas, chacinas de la sierra de Cádiz, arroces, carnes y pescados un apartado para peques e incluso, uno para veganos. Es un sitio tranquilo en el centro que, pese a estar Cádiz lleno, resulto estar muy tranquilo.

Exquisito, tarde en encontrar un restaurante tan bueno, la comida es riquísima. Mi mujer es celiaca y no tu problemas a la hora de elegir en el menú. Mi niña devoro el plato para niños que tienen en la carta. Voy a repetir seguro me quede asombrado con el sabor, parecía que estaba comiendo en casa de mi madre. El precio esta acorde a lo que consumimos. Todo genial 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👍🏻

Nos ha encantado! La comida deliciosa, la verdad que es el mejor sitio al que hemos ido en Cádiz centro en toda la semana, súper bien. La atención, el producto, el lugar, ya que hemos cenado en la terraza en la plaza, su horario, ya que no cierra cocina en todo el día. Nos ha parecido ideal. El variado de pescado frito y el entrecot geniales. Recomendable 100%
Llegamos a Cádiz a las 5 de la tarde sin haber podido comer y todo cerrado (domingo) y encontramos este restaurante y nos salvó. Y la última noche antes de volver a casa, lo mismo, hasta las 12 de la noche está la cocina abierta. La comida estaba muy buena, buen sabor y nada grasosa. El personal que nos atendió los dos días, muy atentos y detallista (gracias por el bacon chicos). Lo recomiendo 100%, la próxima vez que vuelva a Cádiz, no dudaré en volver. Seguir así!
Hemos comido y cenado en el Mediterráneo en el mismo día, con eso se dice todo! Buena relación calidad precio, súper recomendable la fritura y la presa ibérica.
Una experiencia inmejorable. Un espectáculo esta comida, tanto en presentaciones, sabor, profesionalidad, rapidez. Al igual que en sala, el chico que me atendió muy amigable, también profesional. Debo destacar la ensaladilla de langostino con aguacate y atún tanto por su presentación como por su sabor tan original y único como delicioso. Y la lasagna de verduras me encanto también en todo aspecto. Son muy buenos en lo que hacen sus trabajadores. Espero estén bien valorados porque, soy del gremio y, se como funcionan las cosas en Cádiz en la hostelería. Sin más preámbulos. Agradecer por la atención y la comida. Volveré seguro. Recomendable 100 por 100.
Es uno de los mejores restaurantes que hemos visitado. Lo tiene todo: buena comida, camareros atentos y una ubicación única. Muy recomendado el flamenquin casero e inigualable la presa ibérica. Exquisitez. Los postres también de muerte! Sin duda, VOLVEREMOS!
El trato por parte de todos los camareros cada vez que vamos es excepcional. Un “must” siempre que paréis en Cádiz. La cantidad de los platos es abundante por lo que se come de maravilla.
Muy buen sitio, tiene una gran terraza y dentro se está bien también. Tiene una amplia carta y gran variedad de platos, estuvimos super agusto, mi pareja y yo volveremos!

I was a bit worried about going to this place because of some mixed reviews. However, I was happy I did. The staff were nice. I could speak Spanish, my husband only speaks English. So I was trying to talk to the writers on Spanish and translate to him in English and they were nice enough to speak English so he would understand too. And make my life easier hah The food and drinks were good, the atmosphere was amazing, the service was great and the price reasonable. I don't see the reason for some negative comments. I'd recommend going :)
Angela was the best and most positive waitress I have met, she really loves her job!! The grilled sea bass and vegetables was a perfect meal for a hot day. Highly recommend!!
The staff were friendly and helpful upon arrival. They communicated in advance that some dishes might take a while, and the service was prompt. The paella and meat dishes were very good; we didn't try the fish. The bill was absolutely in line with the quality of the offerings. Recommended.
I love this place! Well they are open even though siesta which makes me Happy! And the food is quite decent! It’s also the kind of place where you can bring your laptop and work. It’s a casual place with Wi-Fi. The restaurant is also part of a gorgeous square with purple flowers. Highly recommend!

We really enjoyed the place. Good location and a good choice of food. We tried some jámon and salmon toasts which were very tasty! Also we ordered a big fish platter and it was enormous. We could not manage to finish it but it was tasty as well (keep in mind its ” deep fried everything “ type of food). Affordable prices and the service was good (only two waiters at the beginning but later a third one came and speeded up the orders). We paid in total 33 euros for everything you see in the photos and 2 beers each. Highly recommend!
This delightful bistro bar did not disappoint! We enjoyed delicious glasses of sangria over tapas....the toast specials are delicious. Our favorite was the one with goat cheese, caramelized onions and balsamic...the other had smoked salmon. We also loved the pork cheeks which had been slow cooked for several hours....best ever. We highly recommend this venue!
Amazing food and service! We were here with adults and children and the choice of food was great, all freshly cooked, down to the warm bread! Delicious paella, ribs, hake, pineapple and seafood salad, and quality kids food!

La ubicación del sitio es genial, reformado y bien montado para el.espacio que dispone. La terraza genial, salvo por la cantidad de palomas que se ponen encima tuya. La comida no es un 10 y el precio algo elevado. Patatas con jamón, gambas y huevos, algo sencillo que solo con buen producto se conseguiría, pues no. El arroz bien. El pescado recomendado bien, aunque tardaron muchísimo tiempo en servirlo. Servicio muy bueno, amable y correcto. Pedimos postre y una de las tartas de queso estaba en mal estado, picaba.
Comimos con un bono que nos habían regalado y bastante bien, de primero una ensalada muy completa y rica, un surtido de pescadito frito y paella de pollo, de sabor muy rica pero el punto del arroz estaba un poco pasado, la atención muy buena y agradable
Yo y mi pareja hemos comido ahí por cena. Hemos reservado a través de la app the fork, pero la mesa no estaba ya preparada. El ambiente es el típico de un bar en la calle, con la gente que camina cerca de vosotros, ciertamente no de un restaurante. El servicio está muy rápido, tanto en servirte que en el quitarte el plato. Nosotros hemos tomado: Croquetas del Chef (según el día), que estaban ricas pero habría agradecido si me dijeran antes que eran de pescado; Tortillitas de camarones, muy ricas; y 2 Hamburguesa de buey, que recomiendo, riquísimo. Carne bien cocida, la cebolla caramelizada super dulce. 100%!. Como bebida una copa de vino (solera) y una Coca Cola. Hemos pagado algo como 38 todo.
Pedimos carpaccio de atun sin querer y enseguida los camareros nos lo cambiaron por el que si queríamos, super amables el personal. No acertamos con el pescado, pero el arroz estaba muy bueno. Un comentario a mayores es que nos pusimos en la terraza las moscas y las palomas eran increíblemente pesadas pero eso es ajeno al restaurante, aunque recomendaria ponerse lejos de las palomas jajaja.
Probamos la hamburguesa de merluza y nos gustó, un concepto novedoso que nos resultó sorprendentemente agradable. Luego un bacalao que se hizo muy poco y la salsa mejorable. Buen sitio para comer por la ubicación y el precio no es excesivo. Trato normal.
We ate dinner here and then breakfast twice. The dinner was fab. We chose portions of cadiz /Andalusian specialties. The melted cheese that came with my sons fried chicken was amazing! Breakfast had a lot of choice - between us we had cadiz breakfast / churros/ crepes / toast / croissant. The vitality / juice was lovely. Fairly reasonable too. Would recommend.
A very relaxing place with a nice breeze next to a park, good tapas and very good service, very family oriented.
Update : Returned here after 4 years away. My review below from 2018 stands, except breakfast was very disappointing. Croissants etc were not fresh. ________ Surprisingly good food, at any time. One of my problems in Cádiz is that the Spanish restaurants don't open up til 8:30pm for dinner. I prefer dinner at 6pm. The options to eat well at 6pm in Cádiz are very limited, but this place was a welcome find. They have both a full menu and a tapas menu. but forget the tapas. You can find much greater variety of large and small dishes on the large menu. Try the toasts, wonderful combinations served on beautiful toasted bread. But the toppings were superb. The café/bar is situated on the wonderful Plaza Mina. A true centre of society in Cádiz. From 6pm the plaza is crowded (not too much) with all ages. Nice trees, good shade. Great.

Quiet cafe away from the tourist crowds. Excellent cafe service, good coffee and pastries. The outdoor seating is along the edge of a public park, it is shaded and peaceful. A great place to relax …
Very good food. Excellent value for money. Can be busy with families and quite noisy too but that's the location as well as the restaurant.

The wrong paella came and was average, pork rib starter was good and the cod chipsticks were plain.The “music man” was an awful noice then wanted a tip.
The amosphere of the venue seemed relaxed and typically friendly. I've got to mention, that we've read the reviews prior to choosing this place for our evening meal and despite some of them being on the negative side, with a few mentioning the unusually long wait to be served, we decided that as long as the food is nice, we won't be detered by this. We've been aproached quickly enough and we placed our orders. We ordered the local speciality 'Pescaito Frito' which is selection of different types of fish fryed in extra virgin olive oil. Being a bit peckish, we tucked strait in as soon as the food was put on the table. All went well untill I reached for a bit of fish hidden more to the bottom of the plate, which didnt smell very fresh. We mentioned this to the waiter, he disapeared for a while only to come back and get on with serving other people. When we caught his attention all we got was a very quiet sorry. This probably was our worst dining out experience in Spain ever, and we are going back a long time.
The waiters are extremely slow and inattentive. They don't realize when people want to order and would let you wait for forever. We speak spanish, but wanted to know if they speak english, which turned out to be mediocre. The food was pretty bad and for the pricetag definitely still overpriced. We had stained glasses and the food itself seemed not fresh at all. Not worth it, don't recommend
I read the reviews and now I’m sorry I didn’t pay more attention. I suspect this is a great place if you’re from the neighborhood but if you’re a visitor maybe not so much. Assiduously and deliberately ignored our table. Had to ask repeatedly for the check. Would have ordered more if they’d paid attention. We even spoke only Spanish since it seems like the polite thing to do. There are so many lovely places to eat in Cádiz, if you’re visiting the city. You really don’t need to come here. It’s a shame, really.
price is the only thing thats ok ... i ordered a ceasar salad a burger and a tea - i payed only 15€ - thats a very good price. But the quality was not that good. Everything looked good but the taste was not that good. the ceasar salad doesnt even had real chicken but only some strange chicken nuggets ... also the dressing was obly some strange Mayonnaise 😒 Also the waitres was not really nice ... and could only speak spanish - they had a english menu they could not explain .... so all in all i think its only ok for a drink but nothing more

Llevo mas de media hora viendo al camarero remoloneando, hablando con el movil,hablando con los niños,de charla con la gente... ignorando completamente la terraza, y las dos veces que lo hemos llamado, me he sentado a comer con mi pareja,pero viendo el plan, mejor me voy a otro sitio.De verguenza el trato recibido, y en la terraza habia 4 mesas ocupadas, ni trabajo tenía... no le pongo 0 estrellas porque no se puede.
Es difícil dar 5 estrellas a un restaurante pero el Mediterráneo, en Cádiz, las merece. Buenísimo el Salmorejo y la ensalada Capresse, y espectaculares las sardinas. El trato del personal excelente y, es de admirar, la profesionalidad de la camerarera que estaba fastidiada de la espalda. No dejen de visitar este restaurante!
Didn't have any food, so i can't rate it. The waitress looked as miserable as a wet weekend. The atmosphere was pretty good, loads of people and a good buzz about the place.
