A ver, brutal el sitio. Tuvimos mucha suerte de cenar en la terraza sin haber reservado porque estaba llenito el sitio, y no me extraña. Las raciones son abundantes, pero abundantes en plan bien, así que o vais con hambre o mejor os ponéis de acuerdo para compartir porque nosotros salimos con la sensación de haber comido por tres, muy rico todo, eso sí. Y como nos dio rabia no tener ni un huequito para el postre, tendremos que volver, jejeje. Todo un acierto para una buena celebración o una cena elegante. 1.- TABERNER (syrah), provincia de Cádiz. 2.- Tabla de quesos españoles. 3.- Ensalada de jamón e higos. 4.- los higos. 5.- Tartar de atún sobre torta de anís (una combinación curiosa) 6.- Lomo de buey con verduras. 7.- Atún rojo con verduras. 8.- Pan y aceite. 9.- Un rincón de la terraza. 10.- Carta.

Un auténtico descubrimiento en nuestro fin de semana en Cádiz. Ambiente acogedor.La atención magnífica por parte de todo el personal. El queso en tempura es un bocado delicioso q se sale de la presentación y formato habitual. Y el arroz espectacular!!. Platos generosos. Y para rematar, de postre, un tiramisú buenísimo también. A destacar también el aceite de oliva de cortesía con un pan riquísimo. Muy recomendable. Volveremos!!

Un arroz espectacular. Descubrimos el sitio por casualidad y no pudimos elegir mejor. El plato principal fue un arroz para dos perfecto de punto y mucho sabor. Con un entrante de quesoen tempura y un megapodtre de tiramisú. Perfectamente atendidos por todo el personal y buenos asesoramientos. Platos generosos.

Somos de Oviedo (Asturias) Vinimos por primera vez a Cadiz de vacaciones en Octubre y tuvimos que volver ahora en Febrero para volver a degustar sus arroces. Sitio 100% recomendable. Comida inmejorable pero aún más inmejorable la atención, dedicación y preocupación de que todo esté perfecto de sus camareros. Queremos destacar la atención de Miguel y Enrrique, no tardaremos en volver sobretodo por ellos, nos sentimos como en casa.

Hemos cenado de 10. Un arroz exquisito cocinado con cariño y un postre delicioso. La atención por parte de Enrique ha sido impecable. Recomendable sin duda.

Hemos venido a probar el menú degustación y aunque las tres opciones eran muy apetecibles, nos hemos decantado por el menú del arroz. Todo estaba BUENÍSIMO. Desde los entrantes hasta el postre. De cantidad era más que suficiente. No hemos sido capaces de terminarnos el plato estrella (el arroz), y no nos han puesto ninguna pega a la hora de pedir las sobras para llevar. El trato ha sido de diez, y han estado muy pendientes de la mesa en todo momento. La decoración también nos ha gustado mucho. Y recomendamos que pidáis la sangría, muy muy refrescante y rica!

What a fantastic restaurant! We were lucky enough to be there on a Thursday. What happens on a Thursday is truly amazing. A group of locals sit around a huge table and play live music. We had amazing live music throughout our entire dinner. The food was great. Food was great! Service was great! Ambiance is great!

The spinach and cheese croquettes were absolutely incredible — a must-try! The location is stunning, with charming white umbrellas and classic old-fashioned street lamps that give it a magical feel. The food is reliably good and the protions quite generous. I enjoyed the selection of pates and the sucking pig (cochinillo), although I might have preferred the latter without a sauce. On another occasion I had the stuffed pheasant with dates, and that was very good indeed. Excellent wines on offer.

Nos ubicaron en un salón privado en la primera planta, amplio y cómodo para un grupo de 23 comensales, lo que se agradece para este tipo de celebraciones. El servicio fue correcto, bien organizado y atento durante toda la comida. Del menú destacaría especialmente el carpaccio y los platos principales, tanto el solomillo de ternera como el bacalao, bien elaborados y con buena presentación. Los entrantes, en cambio, fueron más irregulares: el jamón y el queso, las tortillas de camarones y la fritura de pato resultaron más normales y sin especial interés. En conjunto, un buen sitio para comidas de grupo, sobre todo por el espacio y el servicio.

The host was incredibly friendly and welcoming, such a nice guy to deal with. I did not hesitate to stay there. However, the waiter and waitress they were not that friendly, their facial expression was like they didn’t want to serve my table, I even thought it could be because I am South American, I was wondering if it was a sort of discrimination. I tried to give a complement about the starter to the waiter but he ignored me completely, the lady in other hand was interacting with the table next to mine and seemed like she tried to avoid ours. The food in general was good, but I was looking for a good steak and this place is definitely not the right one to ask for stake it was really hard. Everything else I ordered it was very good. I asked to the waiter for suggestions he seemed annoyed by that but he did get the wine option right because I loved it. The restaurant decoration is lovely, very nice old house. If everyone could be as nice and caring as the host that will be perfect, he was the only person who made us feel welcome.

Sensación que rápidamente cambió ante la poca simpatía y presencia del resto de camareros/as. Sinceramente parecía que molestábamos, no sé si por no ser guiris, o por beber agua del grifo. La comida tiene buena pinta, está buena y es generosa, se puede comer pidiendo tapas. La carne nos la han servido fría desde el principio, pero estaba rica. De precio sale muy bien, por una tapa de ceviche, tapa de atún y ración de carne han sido 26,80 euros (pan incluido). No vamos a volver, prefiero comer peor y que me atiendan bien.

We reserved a table for 14.30 and we weren't seated until 15.00. The waiter was very apologetic (couldn't fault the staff for their courtesy). We ordered our food which we didn't receive until an hour later having complained that all of the tables around us had arrived later and were eating. (None of the staff noticed, they were so busy! Not enough staff!) One of our party ordered a starter as a main dish with a side order and specifically said that in order to eat together with the rest of the group. The dish arrived long before and we had to tell the waiter. Again, the staff were apologetic. We were given a complimentary small both of water and a a fanta and the manager also apologized. The food was good (the filo parcels would be better without the very sweet jam). I'm afraid we won't be returning for a while.

El hombre que nos atendió y nos dio una mesa muy bien y muy amable(encargado o jefe), pero hasta ahí... la atención de la camarera mayor con gafas muy mal y muy mala explicación intentado al final de todo hacernos creer que no nos habíamos enterado de lo que nos explicó de las comidas con muy malas maneras. La comida para el precio que tiene se puede mejorar mucho, sobre todo el arroz con bogavante, que estaba pasado y muy seco.
