Gran restaurante, que destaca por su variedad de carnes de gran calidad. Estefania y Lucía nos han atendido genial. Recomendable 100%.

Genial lugar para comer, no es la primera ni la ultima vez que voy. En concreto me parecen geniales las fuentes para dos, pero en general toda la comida está muy buena. El trato del personal es muy agradable, en especial Alex que nos atendió de maravilla y con un arte gaditano que se agradece.

Una experiencia brutal. El sitio es precioso y los platos están buenísimos y a un precio muy razonable. A parte, el servicio súper amable. Nos encantó

Fuimos dos personas a cenar un sábado con reserva sobre las 21:30. Nos atendieron dos camareras muy profesionales y atentas, Susana y Mia. Nos tomaron nota súper rápido, incluso ayudándonos con algunas recomendaciones. La comida llegó al poco tiempo de pedir, con un aspecto y un sabor espectaculares, como se puede apreciar en las fotos (venían dos croquetas más pero no pudimos resistirnos). El ambiente era muy tranquilo y acogedor, seguro que volveremos!

Fogón de Mariana Excellent dining experience. We started with a tabla de jamón ibérico of outstanding quality, perfectly cut and full of flavor. For the main course, the presa ibérica was superb—tender, juicy, and cooked exactly right, highlighting the quality of the product without unnecessary embellishment. Service was equally impressive. Castañeda was attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely welcoming, striking the right balance between professionalism and warmth. His recommendations and timing elevated the overall experience. A restaurant that delivers both excellent food and service. Highly recommended when visiting Cádiz.

Unas instalaciones renovadas y muy amplias, aunque el baño pequeño y en la planta de arriba. Las mesas bastante grandes y la comida estaba buena pero nada que destacar.

En general estuvo bien la comida. Pedimos ensaladilla que estaba bien. Los pan bao de carrillera estaban bien pero le eche en falta un poco más de salsa. El pan de cristal con presa me pareció muy caro para lo que es, que es un pan del Mercadona con una loncha de queso, un trozo de presa que no llenaba el pan y un poco de jamón picado, creo que este plato debería o bien bajar de precio o subir de calidad y cantidad. El pollo con couscous aceptable también. Quizás el fuerte de este sitio sea más la carne madurada pero no ha podido ser esta vez, para la próxima será.

Tenía buenas expectativas con este Restaurante ya que me lo habían recomendado en Chiclana de La Frontera. En nuestra visita a la ciudad de Cádiz tuve la oportunidad de probarlo y muy bien. Todo lo que comimos espectacular, con un emplatado muy cuidado, y una calidad de la comida muy alta. Local muy cuidado y con un servicio, el de Alex que te hace disfrutar y conocer la guasa andaluza. Muy grande este tipo que el solo se vale para atender varias mesas a la vez a un ritmo para destacar. Seguro que hay alguien que se queja pero en mi caso solo le puedo dar las gracias por la atención, servicio y su buen humor. Más gente como él quiero a mi lado. Espectacular su hamburguesa de chuletón. Si vuelvo por Cádiz volveré porque me quedé con ganas de probar más cosas.

Lucia our waitress was great. My husband enjoyed his black angus and potatoes. I got the pork medallions and French fries. Didn’t really have much of a taste but still good. French fries were ok. Would have preferred potatoes. Overall quality of food vs price was good. Seating was a bit tight with uncomfortable chairs. Ambience was nice.

Great food and particularly good if you want to share. We explained that we wanted to share. We started with a great Tuna, Avocado and Conil tomato salad. As a main we chose an entrecot of about 600g. It was cooked ‘al punto’ and sliced to allow us finish to our own taste on the provided hot plate. Superb! The Fogón Mariano is a chain of restaurants but the one in Bahía Sur is in a class of its own.

The place is quite nice and almost "fancy" as it's well decorated and has a nice ambience. The food is also nice. The bacalao and carne al toro are really tasty. The croquetas are very nice and fresh. The aubergine eggs with 4 cheeses were just meh and nothing special to be honest. During lunch time the place is quite full and gets pretty loud. Overall, a nice place to taste some local food.

Cadiz 'boardwalk' restaurants tend to be average. However, Fogón de Mariana is just off 'Maritimo' on C. Brasil and is well worth the visit. Attentive staff and especially our waiter Luisa made us feel very welcome. Good choice of tapas and excellent meat, served perfectly. We just dropped in, but expect this place to be busy during summer months. When in town will return!

We visited to celebrate my birthday and had requested specific seating. Unfortunately, even though the restaurant was nearly empty, we weren’t seated in the area we asked for. The indoor section also had quite a few mosquitoes, which made the experience a bit uncomfortable. The food was decent but didn’t really stand out, and the dessert didn’t particularly appeal to us. On the positive side, the restaurant offers easy parking, no waiting time, and prompt service.
