Mateo's Pizza

My daughter and I stopped in on a recent trip going through the area of Cairo New York we stopped in for a quick bite and we were pleasantly greeted by the staff and the amazing smell of wonderful Pizza we got a hero and something to drink and again the staff was amazing the hero was over the top good. Highly recommend we'll definitely be going back

I placed a large catering order for a party and the guy behind the counter was very helpful as well as polite. I wanted an item that wasn’t on the catering menu yet they still did it for me. The food was excellent especially their tortellini in cream sauce with prosciutto and garlic knots. Everyone at the party loved the food and wanted to know where it came from. Very satisfied with Mateo’s! They’ll continue to get my regular business as well as all parties.

It's not on the online menu, you have to call to get it. We get that with the Pepporanta and throw it on the pizza pockets, it's AMAZING! Feeds 4 of us, best deal out there.

My friend is always getting something different and he always enjoys. This time, got take out for the upcoming storm and gotta say those were some big, hearty & delicious wings!! Our favorite is the round top pizza, with buffalo wings and garlic knots. If you've never heard of the Round Top pizza, trust me, it's worth it. The Philly cheese steak is absolutely PERFECT! Don't pass it up, everything is always hot and fresh! So grateful to have a place like this in town.

Hey there! Momma Donna here. The owners and everyone there are great. The food is delicious, and we have tried many items both eat in and delivery and pick up. It is about time we have a good Italian restaurant . Never disappointed and you will love the portions they give you. Try the Sicilian pizza as well as traditional pizza. yum yum.

Good italian food I highly recommend the rice balls they are the best around and my go to when I visit .they are delicious.

I stopped here on my way through town for dinner. Ordered to go. Chicken francese, pasta with broccoli and garlic, and garlic knots. The chicken was tender, and had a good flavor. The garlic in the pasta was sauteed really well so that it became sweet. Knots were yummy as well. Nice place to stop and very chill.

Ok I just received my pizza from here it was a delivery I’m not even a mile down the road from them. I got a personal Philly pizza my wife plain. Came cold and it was very dry and no flavor the bottom of the pizza and crust felt gritty in my mouth and the burnt areas just nasty 🤮 35$ for 2 personal pizzas is crazy and more disappointing because is was awful 😢 0 Stars

Tried for the first time. The pizza was extremely flourey, and they used (I think) oregano quite heavily on the pizza. Sauce was not sweet like most pizzerias and almost invisible taste. It wasn't a bad pizza, but a different taste where the toppings were the dominant taste. Also got a chicken parmesan dinner. Came with salad and bread. The portions were impressive for a take out order. The only downside again, was the lack of sweetness in their sauce. Also got mozzarella sticks and empenadas. The girl behind the front counter was friendly and was checking orders three and four times to make sure nothing was missing. That's a quality you like to see. Implies the employees care about good service. All in all, not bad. Would like it better if they actually added some sweetness to the sauce and cut down on the flour on the pizzas. Reasonable prices.

Mateo's is your typical pizza place. Nothing fancy,pizza was ok. The day I was there a young kid was working the counter. Looked like his mind was somewhere else. I ordered a slice and soda it took him several seconds to process what I said and warm the slice...several more seconds to take the money...lala land.

Mistakes happen, but why would you serve this? Burnt and hard as a rock. I had to bring my buff chicken wrap back because it was completely inedible. I couldn’t even pick it up, just a soupy unwrapped mess. With the cost of food, this is unacceptable. Train your cooks, these are basic skills.

Order food, they said an hour, 2 hours later, nothing!! They suck

Order 2 Order chicken. Wings a salad and 4 pizzas they scammed me for pepperoni charged me pepperoni price was cheese then when I asked they didn't want to refund me 7 bucks on that then my 3 slices of pizza I got that refund
