The best dinner I got in 5 years maybe. Amazing food and wine! I got calamari with mashed potatoes, and oysters. Wanted immediately to book for the next day but they were fully booked already. Highly recommended, pure gastronomic pleasure.

First night in town. Just wow. The service and the food. We were seated in the "boat" in front of the restaurant and had a lovely view of the harbor. Also there were ducks swimming there which we we were allowed to throw bread to. Very fun.

Oh my God. I wish if I could rate this place with 10 stars. Every thing was more than perfect indeed. Location, service, prices, and food are all more than amazing. I wish if I could have a chance to say big thank you for the chef ( the maestro) who could mix all those flavors in one bite. I had the best of the best spagitti in whole my life. Highly and highly recommended.

Cibo ottimo, specialmente le ostriche, i gamberoni a km0 e il vino! L’unica grave pecca è stata la poca professionalità del cameriere: ha interrotto la conversazione parlando a pochi cm dalle nostre facce e cosa ancor meno gradita ha toccato i nostri calici e bicchieri per far spazio alle portate. Location molto minimal e intima

Ottima cucina, pesce fresco. Prezzi proporzionati alla location. Pasta burro ed alici deliziosa.

Non posso valutare questo ristorante meno di tre stelle perché indubbiamente il cibo è molto buono, non il migliore della zona ma comunque da tenere in considerazione. La location sul molo è anche sicuramente molto suggestiva. Il problema è però il servizio: il numero di coperti è fuori scala rispetto a numero e competenza del personale. Attesa infinita sia per ordinare che per ricevere le comande, assenza di un numero sufficiente di calici per il vino, assenza delle dovute attenzioni nel servire sia il vino che le vivande. Da un ristorante menzionato da guida Michelin mi ero aspettata un tipo di attenzione al dettaglio e al benessere del cliente del tutto diverso.

Delusione, la location è incantevole ma i piatti non sono all'altezza della posizione e dei prezzi. I gamberi alla Catalana dovrebbero essere nominati Gambero in quanto quelli di Santa Margherita come da menù era solo uno, gli altri gamberetti normali. Anche le paste non erano granché quella alla bottarga era addirittura insipida viene meglio a casa, unica nota positiva il cheese cake, davvero buono. Peccato perché speravo viste le recensioni molto meglio.

We were recently staying in the area and were recommended this restaurant by our hotel. We arrived out the front on a rainy evening while what seemed like locals were looked after attentively and we were ignored, after a few moments in broken Italian I was ushered to a table with hardly a word spoken to us. We waited quite a while to have our drink orders taken all the while watching everyone else around us get friendly and attentive service. We loved the fact that it was obviously very popular with the locals but we were made to feel like an intrusion. The food we ordered was lovely and very tasty but the service for us was not great. We were given this recommendation but made to feel like second class citizens.

Prezzi totalmente ingiustificati. I tagliolini con le uova di riccio al costo di circa 25 euro a testa erano leggermente scotti. La grigliata di pesce da 90 euro aveva più patate che pesce. C’erano due capesante intrise di burro. Sicuramente non di mio gusto, visto che il burro copriva totalmente il sapore del mollusco, ma questa potrebbe essere giudicata una mia preferenza. Di pesce però, c’era ben poco, qualche gambero e qualche scampo aperto in due. Il resto era un letto di patate con qualche melanzana e zucchina. Niente di più. L’acqua frizzante dieci euro. In due abbiamo speso 165 euro, per due primi, mezza bottiglia di vino, una bottiglia d’acqua e un secondo condiviso. Il menù non aveva alcun slancio e il prezzo mi è sembrato davvero pretenzioso rispetto alla qualità dei piatti. Il servizio era buono.

I booked table for 9.30pm but we weren't seated until 10pm, we had to wait standing in front of restaurant. Out of six dishes ordered, two were no longer available and we were advised not to get rice as there would be a long wait. Leaving aside the general very little attention to the customer, the food itself is quite good and the location on the harbor is also very nice. Tavolo prenotato alle 21:30 ma non ci hanno fatto accomodare prima delle 22, abbiamo dovuto attendere in piedi davanti al locale. Su sei piatti ordinati due non erano più disponibili e ci è stato sconsigliato di prendere il riso perché ci sarebbe stato tanto da attendere. Tralasciando la generale scarsissima attenzione nei confronti del cliente, il cibo di per se abbastanza buono e anche location sul porto molto carina.

The food was really good. The service however not. Long waiting times. The food was not served together for a party of 6 people. We claimed twice that the spaghetti vongole were too small (just three forks). We asked to get another plate. No reactions at all. We had a Branzino for 4 people. Far too small. Would have been OK for 2 max 3 people. Every request took long waiting times. Espresso as well. The seating is on this metal chairs, which for sure is not comfortable. Overall apart form the food itself, which was good, not a good impression. Would not consider to go there again.

Really expensive with no price breakdown on the receipt. Overall, we felt really ripped off. €5 cover charge per person. €10 for a bottle of water and can of coca cola. €78 for two first courses and white pasta for our son. My €22 prawn pasta had just 2-3 prawns chopped into tiny pieces. After spending €100, we left hungry and had to look for another place to eat.

Although service was fine and fish was excellent, the amount of bones in the fillet were unacceptable for any restaurant. The server agreed and offered us gelati, which we declined. He apologized said the chef apologized. Ditto e fatto!

Non è questione di prezzo: quando scelgo un ristorante, lo faccio per vivere un’esperienza piacevole, per sentirmi coccolata, non certo per essere presa in giro. Dopo aver atteso oltre 30 minuti prima che un cameriere si accorgesse di noi, finalmente arriva il primo: il mio piatto, però, aveva meno della metà della porzione del mio compagno. Quando ho fatto notare l’evidente differenza, il cameriere ha reagito ridendo, liquidando la questione con un “in cucina l’hanno fatto per sbaglio”. Un comportamento inaccettabile che rovina completamente l’esperienza. Cibo mediocre

Mi sono imbattuta in questo ristorante visto le ottime recensioni, abbiamo preso un crudo dove gamberi e scampi non erano puliti e divisi a metà( senza il piacere di poter degustare le teste). Inoltre non ci hanno portato né pane né ci hanno aperto la bottiglia di champagne davanti . Se volete imbattervi in questo ristorante abbassate le aspettative. L’unico complimento a Francis perché il resto del personale davvero poco all’altezza dei prezzi

Molto carina la posizione accanto al porto, illuminato dalle luci della città.. il servizio un pò meno.. come prima cosa non ci é stato indicato il nostro tavolo, abbiamo dovuto cosi attendere inutilmente in piedi per 10 minuti, il tavolo é stato poi apparecchiato con molta lentezza. Prima ancora di poter ordinare, il tavolo accanto é stato servito per prima (nonostante questi ospiti siano arrivati dopo di noi) con la conseguenza che l‘ultimo pesce fresco rimasto é andato a loro (erano le 21.30 di sera)...per noi non era più disponibile. L’antipasto era abbastanza buono mentre il primo piatto (praticamente per noi imposto vista la carenza di pesce) niente di speciale. Troppo elogiato per la qualità e il servizio offerti.. abbiamo mangiato molto meglio in ristoranti meno recensiti e meno conosciuti. Non mi capitava da tempo di non avere neanche più la voglia di bere il caffè e non lasciare la mancia! Go to taverna del marinaio, Ristorante Da Alfredo or Cambusa, much better!

Accoglienza inesistente. Come antipasto gamberetti alla catalana 23 € (qualcosa come 7 gamberetti e un po di insalatucchia). Come primo spaghetti alle vongole che sapevano solo ed esclusivamente di aglio. E per finire una grigliata per 2 persone da circa 90€ con all'interno a malapena 10 tra scampi e gamberoni e due capesante che sapevano tutt'altro che di capesante. L'unica cosa buona il vino, ovviamente non fatto da loro. Tutto questo ad un prezzo di 170€. Dò una stella perché darne zero non è possibile. Sconsigliato alla grandissima senza ombra di dubbio. Veramente una cosa inammissibile.

Al limite della truffa . Il pesce nei secondi piatti è quasi tutto prezzato al kg peccato che nessuno te lo faccia vedere prima o dopo la cottura né tanto meno lo pesi quando te lo propone , cosicché se non te ne accorgi magicamente spendi 20/30/40 euro in più perché il pesce che mangi ha un peso diverso da quello che ti hanno proposto . Tralasciamo la descrizione su vassoietto del pane stantito e raffermo che per mandare giù devi mischiare a un bel sorso di acqua . Il caroaccio non è male peccato sia annegato nel limone tanto da coprire la delicatezza del pesce …PER CARITÀ…..

Asked for the food twice, after, ordering for five persons. Got two after recieving the first two, had to ask a SECOND time for the last dish when all the others had finished their meal. Over-all waiting: over an hour. Other people who came later got their meal before us. The staff seamed annoyed by being reminded of the missing dishes. The food was bland and rushed, and so the shells in my pasta were crushed with pieces of shell stuck in my meal.

Honestly terrible service… I went in with my family and they told us we had to wait like 1 hour then they said they would call us. 1hour AND 20 minutes go by and no one had called, then we went over there and it turned out they had gave our table to some other family. Then they gave us another table they put together OUTSIDE ON THE VERY BACK of the restaurant where it was cold. Then we had to wait for a very long time for them to even get close by so that we could ask them for the menu. Which by the way prices unacceptable. Then we waited for 25 minutes unattended until we decided to leave. Totally unacceptable service. We were left there looking for a place to eat and hungry!!😡😡

Very enthusiastic service at the beginning, but that went downhill fast. Food (fish, prawns and shrimps) not cleaned and prepared properly, but the chef insisted that sh.t in the uncleaned food adds to the Italian flavour. Overpriced and not good value for money. Go to Cambusa on other side of harbour. Much much better
