We’ve been ordering from this pizza place for many years. It’s usually pretty good. It has better prices than the other guys. We usually get the “pick 3 mix and match” which use to be 22.99 but it’s gone up about $5 bucks in recent months. I also enjoy Jesse’s Pizza for lunch on Fridays, where they bring their lunch truck to the prison in Tehachapi.

Best pizza I've had in a VERY long time and it's surprising that it's so close by! The staff is amazing and the pizza is SO GOOD. My favorite is kickin' Hawaiian but my husband loves the pastrami pizza. Tastes just like a pastrami sandwich!

The woman who took my order over the phone if I can recall her name was Kendra was fantastic and informative she was very patient with me and informative as it was my first time eating.. she was very respectful and courteous. The place was clean when I went to go pick up my pizza, the pizza was fantastic the employees were nice I'd have to rate five Stars one of the best places in California I've been to yet. I highly recommend going and eating there. They don't have just pizza but salad pastas wings sodas desserts and the brownies are amazing. Pizza night is finally back in action and it's much better than McDonald's lol. However if I had to find something bad to say they didn't have stuff crust pizza they really need to look into that

Over 3 years ive only had 1 or 2 issues and it wasnt anything to complain about. Pizza and wings have always been hot and on time except my few bad experiences. Every restaurant will have bad reviews however jesses is in my humble opinion the best pizza in cal city. Service and food are id say a 4.5 out of 5.

Good food. Sometimes if you order pickup or go in person, it does take a little longer than they say, but that doesn't lower my overall rating. Prices are reasonable too, especially considering that it's in California.

I absolutely Love eating at Jesse’s pizza they have by far the best wings I’ve tasted as well , the employees have great customer service always greeting with a smile it’s such a welcoming atmosphere Jesse’s pizza is definitely my go too when I want to entire delicious food !!! 😋😋🤤🤤

First off, someone answered the phone immediately in comparison to other local restaurants. Communication was clear, polite, and professional. My order was ready and correct. And it was very tasty! I ordered the Hawaiian and I like the sauce they used and the crust was nice. I will definitely order from Jesse's again.

Back in 2019, I visited this place called Jesse's Pizza. My brother and I had an M-size BBQ pizza with chicken and it was really delicious. Today, I was just going through the pizza joints list in California and this joint name came up. It made me feel nostalgic. Thank you for providing the best service. It was a wonderful moment. The staff and pizza chefs are both humble and polite.

These people are amazing! The pizza is always the same delicious recipe and they have great deals. My husband loves the wings and I love the sandwiches! The customer service is amazing here too! I've only been in once it's pretty small and since the pandemic I waited outside but the people are very kind and they have an amazing soda selection even though I don't drink it. Thanks for always being awesome to the entire management and staff at Jesse's pizza!

So I ordered a couple of pizzas for pickup and will admit I was about 30 minutes late to get it. Anyway, when I got there, they explained that someone else with the same first name picked up my order, but they were in the process of making me new ones. I always order form here. They never have messed up my order ever, and I ask for it lightly cooked. The pizza is in my opinion the best in town, not the best ever but definitely the best in town. I have never had a problem with the credit card machine. I order at least once a month. If everybody is ordering pizza from here then you have to expect a wait especially on the weekends. The only reason I leave a comment is because as a small business owner myself the customers who have a problem always leave bad reviews, the people who like it don't usually take the time. Figure for every bad review you have at least 100 happy customers.

Good pizza, friendly staff. Delivery takes anywhere from 30 to 60 mins. We're pretty good about ordering in the off hours, so it's usually quick. Sandwiches are tasty and inexpensive.

Slow service and food isn't consistent in portion or taste. The pesto chicken pasta and garlic bread are my favorite and my son likes the pepperoni pizza. The calzone is okay.

UPDATE: Jesse's is better than Dominoes. But they need to add more specials to compete with Dominoes. The pizza is good I can only review that. It's like a old school pizzeria simple doughy pizza. I'm pretty picky about pizza and I've eaten at many many pizza places and this is good. The cook level was s bit more cooked then other places which I like giving it a crisper color and texture. I got a personal pizza with 2 toppings of pepperoni and olives. It was like $8.40. They give you cheese and peppers packets free. The website doesn't show the whole menu which is stupid. The restaurant looks old but clean and organized. They got an A rating on their window. Customers service was good. I did pickup and it was ready on time. Prices could be a bit better. I will definitely come back and buy some special deals. Specially for parties. See my pictures. Update: bought it for a 2nd time and it great again the pizza even repeats very well! Definitely recommend.

Are they under new management? The last I got pizza there it was very good. Now well; if you're really craving pizza it's okay but you'll throw away whatevers leftover. As you know some pizzas cold are great this is not one of them! The only saving grace is the wings & customer service.

When i first moved to cal city a year ago this was the first pizza place i tried n it was horrible. BUT decided to give them another chance becuz i heard they stepped their game up n ive been ordering from ONLY them for the past couple months. Pizza is really good now. N the wings n pasta n salad are also really good! The only pizza joint im ordering from out here til i move again. Good stuff!! Only reason im giving 3 stars is becuz the long delivery time..but its worth the wait tho !!

The pizza was fabulous, the wings were dry and unapppitizing. Wish I could have rated higher.

My son ordered pizza from here earlier and I only ate a small piece I started feeling nauseous wanting to throw up using the bathroom cheese tasted spoiled I just now got my stomach to settle down with ginger ale n peto think I had a small case of food poisoning

Stopped getting delivery from Jesse's once their delivery fee hit 15.00. that's a whole freaking pizza for a fee.

The employees taking the orders & the delivery drivers are great & wonderful! They've always been so very very pleasant. Because of them we've returned time after time after time in spite of getting extra black olives instead of none on our salads, in spite of thick crust, extra cheese & no pineapple instead of thin crust, pineapple & easy, easy cheese. Repeatedly our order is missing at least 1item or there is a clear error. If it can be eaten we've been willing to do just that rather than cause an employee any embarrasment. However, this evening the manager made sure Jesse's parted ways with 3 very loyal customers. It was far more important that she make the customer feel they were mistaken, not her. Conversation aside ... In this pandemic am I to believe she >> actually tasted food that had been delivered then picked up & returned << to prove a customper wrong? We love their food but not enough to be treated with such disrespect.

The chicken wings tasted old, dry, and had an odd smell. They went straight to the trash. The pizza was ok but if that is their idea of double cheese then I guess normal cheese is close to nothing. Customer service was mediocre at best. It's what you can expect in California City.

We stopped coming here early 2023. All the other employees here were nice. The women who worked here--nice. Most of the men--nice. But one man acted very strangely here. He kept commenting on the way my father and I were dressed, as though we were over-dressing. I was only wearing a twenty-dollar jacket! Honestly, the big dude with the beard came across as being insecure and just...strange. I believe he was jealous and suffers from severe self-esteem issues and psychological problems. I haven't returned in 9 months. Now I hear people have found hair in their pizza. Sounds exactly like something this dude would deliberately do, the strange vibe he exuded to my father and myself. STEER CLEAR OF JESSE'S PIZZA. They need to be reported for sanitation violations.

I honestly wish I could give it zero stars. I spoke with Andrew who said he was the manager. His customer service was the worst I've ever had to deal with. Over the phone he was extremely rude. When I approached him about it in the store he apologized and blamed it on the fact that they receive numerous prank calls. My pizza was raw and he even acknowledged from him quick glance that one of the slices did look uncooked. 3 or 4 slices were gone. He actually asked me very rudely who let's their kids eat raw pizza??? I ordered 3 pizzas so obviously I had a lot of people to serve. Who fully inspects every pizza with a house full of starving people??? Andrew was disrespectful and rude. The pizza was sloppy and undercooked in the middle but the crust was a little burnt. And he had the audacity to tell me over the phone that he personally inspected my pizza when it was done and it was fine!

First off, I am a fan of Jesse’s Pizza. However my last experience was less then satisfactory. After ordering for delivery I wanted to pay with my card. They explained that they will be able to swipe my card when they arrived with my order. When it was time to pay, the card reader wasn’t working. The delivery driver took my card and called jesses themselves to take the card information over the phone. So now the delivery driver is yelling out my card information really loud for all my neighbors to hear. What’s the difference from me doing it myself after placing my order over the phone. I have not order from them since. Good food but bad service. I suggest pick up.

I ordered the small Hawaiian pizza, bbq wings and chicken salad. First off there was a hair in my salad, the chicken wasn’t cooked and the wings were nasty! I called the manager and they didn’t help me so I’m just going to dispute it with my bank. Delivery took 2 hours just save your money and make your own pizza. This place is gross

I want to give this place a good review. I have had their pizza in the past and loved it. It's good food. HOWEVER, supposedly they deliver to Mojave. I have called 3 times and been told no. First time it was too late, second time it was too early. I call tonight and they don't have the right driver???? Seriously? Y'all charge an extra $10 to deliver to Mojave and I WANT to give it to you but every time I call it's something different. Either deliver to Mojave or don't. Quit with the wishy-washy bs.

So Honestly my review used to be a 5 star glowing review but now I am dropping it down to 1. They charged us 3 times for the same order and said it was cause of their new system. When my husband went in to dispute it the manager accused him of trying to scam them which is so unwarranted and rude. We have spent so much money here because we had genuinely loved their food but now we are done going here..really fed up with the rude customer service.

I told her, mam we are right in the middle of moving as we speak, and I need to feed my guys, I am not driving all the way to Cal City for this. The problem I have with this whole situation is that, my address had to be on the order when I placed it. As soon as they saw that I was in Mojave, someone should have called right then. But they waited until after the order was ready and then called to tell me that couldn't deliver. That's not how you do business. I hope if this happens again with another customer, You won't delay calling to inform them that you can't deliver to their address. That would be the professional way to handle it.
