Loved loved love this place. Such amazing food, staff and decor. Immediately feel welcomed and at home. We had tapas and pasta colognes- food came quickly and was gorgeous. We also had the detox smoothie which was delicious. The staff are so smiley and lovely ! Will definitely recommend and visit again when we are back in Palma xxxx

I love the atmosphere in the bar coto. A small round square with a big tree in the middle. The waiters and waitresses are super nice and seem to always smile and be happy. We come there every year and always sit outside. But the inside looks really authentic also. If you like it cozy and authentic, you are in the right place. Thanks @ the team for the great time. Bye the way…a must for Frida Carlo lovers.

The kind of place that makes you wonder if you’ve accidentally wandered into a friend’s living room—if your friend just happened to be a brilliant host with a knack for cocktails. The staff are warm, genuinely friendly, and somehow make you feel like they’re actually happy you showed up (a rare art these days). The food? Lovely. The cocktails? Made properly, with the kind of flair and presentation that makes you pause for a second before drinking… then promptly drink anyway, because they’re delicious. We enjoyed it so much we came back for round two—because once you’ve found a spot where everything feels easy, charming, and just a little bit special, why wouldn’t you?

We stumbled in after a visit of the lovely art gallery. The staff is super welcoming, friendly and nice. The food was delicious, the wines are excellent. The place and the people there are very colorful :) A strong recommendation 10/10

We had a wonderful dinner experience here! The place itself is super charming, and the food was truly impressive. I had a traditional Mallorcan casserole, and it was absolutely delicious – not many restaurants know how to prepare eggplant so well! The selection of tapas was also a big win. Special thanks to Zak, who served us – highly professional, spoke perfect English, and gave us excellent recommendations about the food. A real 6-star experience. Wishing this place all the best!

We found this little gem in Palma . We thought wow....Of course we sat and had a meal.Fabulous service.Brilliant staff. Lovely decor. Exceptional food. It was a hot day in Palma 90f and we opted for the Salmon salad which was the most delicious dish we have had for some time. Definitely the place to eat when in Palma City.Lucious decor inside.

Wow Full of details Everything on point Service and attitude was perfect Very good variety of options in the menu especially for tapas. You could order tapas separately or a platter, it had platter with 5 options, 7 and vegan. At first they brought bread and olive, the olive oil was also amazing. We had a platter and it was perfect, jamon was heavenly. The personnel were nice, they showed me the other part of the store for photos

While browsing the menu, a couple went out of their way to tell me how exceptional this place was and that they’d already been back four times! That was all the convincing I needed, and wow, they weren’t wrong. The food was hearty and delicious, the wine and cocktail selection was on point, and the staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, making the whole experience feel extra special. Bar Cafe Coto’s location in a plaza adds to its authentic charm and vibrant atmosphere. I came solo for dinner, but I’ll definitely be back for round two… and three, with friends in hand. Highly recommend!

We loved our visit here. Came for the vegetarian and vegan options and enjoyed our food. The portions are definitely bigger than tapas size so just be aware of this when ordering. Staff were helpful and friendly and there wasn't a long wait for food.

Definitely a more touristy spot (big portions and good prices, and all the staff speak english). The food was good and they have good vegetarian options too! Very eclectic and sometimes street musicians come play too. Don’t get the chicken curry pasta… very bland, but they were gracious enough to take it off our bill since it wasn’t enjoyed.

Bar Coto is an absolute gem! We’re just finishing up a 7 night stay in Palma and we originally came to Coto because it had good vegan options and it was right near our apartment. Our first visit was incredible, the staff are so lovely and attentive and the food is exceptional. We went back for a second visit today and had exactly the same experience, the same staff and just as lovely and different food but just as good! If you are vegan this place is heaven! So many good choices! We sat outside both times and it’s a lovely spot to people watch while you eat. The prices are really low for the quality you get. Like you can eat for 2 people with enough food and drink for like €35-50 easily. I give Bar Coto 100/10

Came here again after two years since I loved it so much the first time. Amazing vegetarian tapas, great sangria, and very friendly staff members. The service is fast and they’re very attentive + they offer small things on the house like olives and bread. I will always try to come here when I’m in Palma!

Buen lugar para una rica cena, tomar un café y relajarte, después de un largo día de caminatas.

Pedimos un menú de 5 tapas que Rea bueno, casero y para mi por el precio muy abundante. Comimos medio rápido porque la cocina cierra a las 23hs pero el bar también, por lo que 23:50 llegó el postre y los aperol y tuvimos que tragar y beber porque cerraban. La atención excelente.

Fuimos a tomar unos deliciosos cocktails y nos encantó el lugar, muy original! El personal muy amable. El único pero es que hacía mucho frío dentro, estaba todo abierto pero por lo demás genial!

Les pongo 4 estrellas por su atención. El mozo de Córdoba era muy atento y buena onda. Comimos un menú que incluía sopa de zanahoria y jengibre, que estaba muy buena. De principal pasta con pesto que estaba muy bien por el precio. Además pedimos el menú de 7 tapas que estaba bien, sin sobresalir. Nos regalaron dos vasos de cava para brindar. El bizco huelo que incluía el menú estaba muy rico

Taberna pintoresca en el centro de Palma. El personal muy agradable y la decoración muy original. Pedimos una tabla de tapas, tortilla de patata y dos cervezas, el precio fue unos 22€. Nos pareció adecuado por la situación, el servicio y la comida. Nos sacaron unas mantitas a la terraza para protegernos del frío, un buen detalle.

Me ha gustado el sitio, es mejor reservar porque siempre hay mucha gente, la comida muy rica y variada puedes pedir desde tapas variadas o platos únicos. Hasta las 18:00 hay menú de día con un precio accesible. Los precios son variados pero accesibles . La única pega es que las mesas están súper pegadas unas a otras y por lo menos las que nos tocó tuvimos que pedir a la persona de al lado que se levantara para poder entrar y así mismo para salir. Está muy céntrico en una plaza cerca de La Lonja de Palma. Por la zona hay otros pequeños restaurantes por sino encuentran sitio. Pedimos pollo al curry y estaba muy bueno

El restaurante es rico, pero los platos son muy costosos para el tamaño que tienen. Nos pedimos unas gambas al ajillo con patatas a 16 euros y era realmente pequeño (dejaré la foto). Sin embargo, la ubicación y el ambiente del local es bastante buena.

The service was excellent and very fast, and the location is great for drinks. Unfortunately, the food was disappointing. We ordered the seven-tapas selection, which came as seven very small bowls on a large plate more like “tourist tapas” than anything authentic. The bread was dry, the potatoes were soggy (certainly not bravas style), and the rest of the dishes lacked flavor. There also weren’t any locals or Spanish diners, so if you’re looking for a truly authentic tapas experience, this isn’t the place. If you’re simply after a pleasant affordable spot to sit and enjoy a drink, it does the job.

Good variety of menu, good prices. Great service. But we couldn’t enjoy any of our salads or mixed salads that came with our dishes because the veggies and lettuce was not washed. Salads get a lot of sand and rocks in them. Please was the salads better next time

Tortilla de patatas seca, quemada y sosa, la devolví a cocina, café con leche bueno, pedí a cambio de la tortilla bocadillo de atún y no sabía a nada el atún (no me había pasado nunca esto), pan de baguette prefabricada y aceitunas que necesitan un baño. Camarera correcta. Lugar para turistas que no saben lo que comen.

Lasaña de espinacas sin sabor a nada, queso de cabra super básico y pobre y muy caro para la calidad/cantidad . Atención regular. Nos apuraban todo el tiempo 3 camareros diferentes para pedir. Bebida normal. No es un sitio para comer, sobre todo si eres local, local para guiris.

No puedo dar muy buena nota porque cuando llegamos preguntamos poder tomar algo y al ratito nos ubicaron en una mesa y cuando fuimos a pedir mis familiares y yo decidimos cenar algo . Nos dijo el camarero tal cual que no podíamos comer porque él nos había sentado y solo queríamos tomar algo. Muy tajante y sin ninguna explicación. Ósea perdieron dinero por eso ;ósea no se puede uno animar a comer algo o cambiar de opinión nunca jamás me había pasado

My visit to Coto Bar was very disappointing. We asked for a bigger table but were refused, so we placed some of our belongings neatly on a shelf nearby. A staff member moved them without asking, and when I briefly rested my foot on a wine box (which was perfectly safe and undamaged), she sharply told me to put it down as if I were a child. She spoke to me in a patronising and intimidating way, even accusing me of being rude when I wasn’t. I just talked to her defending myself. This happened in front of my friends and left me embarrassed and upset. I did speak with the manager afterwards, and he was very kind and understanding, which I appreciated. However, the behaviour of the staff member completely ruined the experience. This girl ( mid 40s with pony tail) she’s bringing lots of shame to such a lovely place I wanted to visit for looong time moreover she seemed more interested in asserting power than offering hospitality. Well if she’s been raised this way I can’t blame her. Be kind to your guests bc they pay your wages. I hope she’s aware of this. Coto Bar has a nice atmosphere, but staff training in respectful communication and customer service would make a huge difference, Until then I really cannot recommend this place.
