Nice casual little place, no menu del dia when we went, but having small dishes to share with the family was perfect for lunch! Food was great, prices were very reasonable and the wine and dessert were lovely. Great spot to come with family/friends, sit outside and have a good time. We did not make a reservation, but I do recommend doing so as the place is popular especially at meal times. The servers were fast and attentive, became very relaxed and friendly as the lunch hours ended.

The first thing I can say is that this restaurant is a true gem for wine lovers. Its wine list is truly impressive, with a wide selection of national and international varieties. If you're a wine aficionado, you definitely have to visit Fonte de a Saude. But in addition to its great wine selection, the quality of the food at Fonte de a Saude is simply outstanding. The goose eggs are a specialty not to be missed. They are prepared with a unique culinary technique that makes them incredibly smooth and creamy. Furthermore, the restaurant's menu features a variety of dishes that are equally delicious and beautifully presented. Finally, another thing that stands out about Fonte de a Saude is the generous amount of food they serve. The dishes are hearty and satisfying, meaning you won't leave hungry after your meal. Se basa en raciones varias, ( calamares,vocarte,,parocchas,mejillones etc) y no están mal, pero un poco caro de más Tiene una buena carta de vinos y también vino cosechero

We liked the place. However, it's not suitable for very elderly people because you sit on stools; they don't have chairs. The food was very tasty. We ordered scallops, a full salad (because the waiter didn't tell us that the main course already included a side salad...), braised pork cheeks, and Iberian pork shoulder. The cheesecake wasn't sweet enough. They only serve coffee brewed in a pot.

Although the wait was normal this time because it was early in the morning (8:00 PM), during busier times the wait is longer, but the excellent food and large outdoor terrace make up for it. Great value.

Walking past, the smell is mesmerizing! And the smell doesn't lie! We only tried the seafood, but... wow, seafood! The scallops were enormous, and the sauce... delicious! I could say the same about the razor clams, because they were huge! They're definitely worth the price! And a tapa of Galician-style octopus, which I thought was a bit small, but well-prepared! Just be warned, the paprika is spicy! Price? It's not cheap, but for those quality dishes, it's more than worth it! 15 for the scallops, 18 for the razor clams, and 17 for the octopus! Everyone can decide if it's worth the price, but at least I can say I left feeling full!

It's a classic spot, but nowadays, for what they charge, it's fallen far behind in both quality and quantity, and you can't even get a decent salad. The outdoor area is incredibly hot because of the asphalt floor, which I don't know who came up with, but it's like an oven.

A simple and popular restaurant. The wait for both a table and the food was far too long. The waiter's service was average, the manager's was good, but the bartender's was inadequate, even though it was quite busy and they were a bit overwhelmed. The bathroom is outdated, as is the kitchen, and both could use some renovation. Some tables with backless benches were uncomfortable. The wine list was excellent, especially Galician and Ribera del Duero wines, but overpriced for the type of establishment, and the glasses weren't even all the same. The food was good, especially the grilled baby squid, since by the time we were served, there was no fish left, nor the tripe, nor most of the other dishes. The Iberian pork was good.

Yo quería dejar aquí mi pequeña opinión sobre este sitio, el local muy bien de toda la vida, camareros agradables pero el encargado o gerente deja mucho que desear, es mejor que no estuviera. Un impertinente, unos modales malísimos la verdad que un completo sin vergüenza en mi opinión. Llame a las 12 de la mañana para reservar me dicen que no cogen reserva, hay medas vacías y te pone 2 taburetes en cualquier lado…. La verdad que por este tío no vuelvo.

Four rounds of beers for six people... and not a single snack! While the rest of the tables were served tripe and tapas without any problem, we weren't. The difference in treatment was evident and even uncomfortable. We even ordered fries for the kids, and they didn't even bother to offer anything with that. It's hard to understand how in a place where the normal thing is to serve a simple snack with a drink, they decide to completely ignore an entire group. Very disappointing. We don't plan on returning.

Very small portions. The patatas bravas are more frozen than Walt Disney, they're probably from Mercadona. The sauce on the patatas bravas was so sparse that we thought it was just for us to try and if we liked it they'd bring us more, but no... We managed to get one of the potatoes with sauce, which is something. The rest of the portions were more or less tasty but very small for the slightly high price. Asking for the bill more than five times without being attended to is uncomfortable. Repeating is quite unlikely.
