Great service, I enjoyed every moment here. This restaurant served Italian style steak & pasta, maybe that's why we're not really familiar with these flavors. But it's still a great dining experience. I really like lobster risotto, it's the best dish I tried here

This is truly an incredible restaurant. The food is top notch, everything was consistently delicious and beautifully prepared. If you’re looking for a place with great food that will impress this is the spot. However, astonishingly the service is as good as the food. Every member of the staff, from the girls at the door, to the wait staff, to who I assume is a manager was ON IT. There was one moment where we had a dish come out that would’ve made our table a little too full, and seemingly like it was choreographed professionally, the manager lifted a dish from the table as the fresh one was lowered by a waitress while at the same time placing a table extension down for us. Start to finish this was the best dining experience I think I’ve had in years and very likely ever. My true props to all involved.

We came here to celebrate my wife's birthday, and Be.Steak.A did not disappoint! The starters were fantastic - the tomato confit with burrata was a particularly wonderful surprise. The steak was perfectly cooked and well-seasoned. We ate way too much, but we couldn't help it because everything was delicious. The dessert flambé was a nice touch to end the meal. Overall, a great experience and excellent value for money."

We arrived early for our 7:30 reservation but didn't get seated until 8. Minor delay, but they handled it well by bringing out this amazing warm chicken broth in a tea cup, I know right - the class, while we waited. Fresh, flavorful, and honestly a great way to be kept on standby prior to the meal. The first thing we noticed when we walked in was this open kitchen with these huge windows where you can watch everything happening, from the Michelin award-winning chef to support staff - which is always fun. Once seated, they were great about our non-dairy request, though there was a small hiccup with the bread at first that they fixed right away. Now the food. Almost everything was phenomenal. The Kerwei rib eye and steak tartare were incredible, but the roasted bone marrow? That was the absolute showstopper of the night. The asparagus was the only thing that was just okay (granted, relative to the other offerings), but notably, it was the only non dairy option we had. We like some heat, so the chillies we requested on the side complemented the dishes beautifully. Aside from the food, the little details really impressed us: heated toilet seats and a salt scrub for your hands. It's those little thoughtful touches that remind you why this place has a Michelin star. Our server was fantastic and ensured our glasses were always full. Highly recommend Be.Steak.A if you're looking for a really special meal and celebrating something meaningful. They've earned that star. Tonight, I award them 5 more.

Classic steakhouse that serves delicious cocktails and food near downtown Campbell. As soon as you walk in, they offer you a cup of warm tasty chicken broth. Cute cocktail menu has a lot of enticing drinks, so definitely try a few. Steaks were perfectly cooked, and the homemade pasta was amazing. If you’re not in the mood for beef, there are plenty of seafood items to choose from as well. Efficient and super friendly service. Large shared free parking lot. Great spot for a special occasion meal, or for an important business dinner!

I went here for my birthday dinner with my friends and it’s a total five out of five for both service and food! Bob was amazing, he guide us through the whole dinner including making our dessert at the end. Very high quality Japanese wagyu beef, the whole piece was literally melting in my mouth. Would definitely recommend for gathering!

I had a great experience at Be Steak A. The staff were very friendly and helpful, making us feel welcome right away. The food was delicious and nicely prepared, though a little on the salty side for my taste. Overall, everything was good.

Very good upscale restaurant to celebrate with friends and family. The price seemed appropriate for the service, ambience and food. We enjoyed most of the food we ordered. Their starters, small bites and pasta were great. That spicy meatball, tiny onion soup, fish crudo, pineapple jam, yam stones and crab garganelli were very good. Filet mignon, kirwee ambassador and bread basket were decent. I would skip the bread basket and choose a premium steak if we were to visit again.

We’ve eaten here half dozen times, with mixed results; but have always had an enjoyable time. The latest time was for a friend’s birthday. The servers went out of their way to answer questions, and even brought us something that wasn’t officially back on the menu, yet. They have been seasoning the steaks appropriately. There was a misunderstanding with the ordering, but we were too full anyway eating another dish.

This was our first visit, and I can't say enough good things about our experience. Unfortunately, it was over a month ago, and I've forgotten our server's name. She was incredibly sweet, personable, and super friendly, as was the rest of the staff. The vibe was just what we appreciated. The service was impeccable, and the food was delicious. The portions were surprisingly substantial for a fine dining establishment. The cocktails our server recommended were excellent, which is rare for fine dining places that usually focus more on wines. We were delighted with the quality of the craft cocktails. We are easy-going when it comes to dining out in the sense that we’re open-minded and adventurous, so we followed our servers lead, and ordered everything she recommended with no hesitation. Everything was 100% spot on. Parking was hassle-free since it's located in the same lot as the Pruneyard shopping center. Overall, it's an upscale restaurant with a cozy, inviting atmosphere and a strong customer-centric approach. We’ve dined at many of the top Bay Area steak houses and Be.Steak.A was the last on our long list. We look forward to returning very soon with family and friends.

Excellent steakhouse, somehow with Italian fusion. It is luxury and expensive. However, it is worth the experience. Since most of their signature steaks are large portions, I will recommend going with large group to try different meats and cuts. The staff were nice and friendly.

I think I found my favorite new restaurant. Very similar in style to its sister restaurant, Orchard City Kitchen, but an upscale steakhouse. The entire party was greeted with broth cups while we sat, and it was hard to limit our choices on an amazing menu. Nearly everything was available family style. Highlights for me were the Kerwee Ribeye with truffle port reduction and the Lobster Risotto. The food here is very rich, but the staff is welcoming and doesn't rush or cut corners. On the way out, there's even a candy selection to finish off the evening, and take home treats. Also, today I learned that Be.Steak.Ā is a play on the Italian word for steak, bistecca.

Took my wife here for a Sunday Birthday Brunch, and judging by all the birthday celebrations around us, we’re not the only ones who had the same idea. While it’s called Bubbles & Brunch, it really felt more like lunch than brunch since the breakfast options paled in comparison to the more lunch options. The only thing that was slightly disappointing was the fact that they didn’t have more steak cuts to choose from, which I would have expected from a steakhouse. Overall great atmosphere, and the food was certainly elevated with many options to choose from, and we were both very happy overall. I really like how the hot item foods are in the actual kitchen so you get a glimpse of the chefs at work and prepping for dinner service. Lots of the food was bite sized so it was easy to try a little bit of everything. My favorites were the prime rib, scallop sashimi, and caviar. Pro-tip, adding some caviar on top of almost all the savory food elevates it quite a bit. Desserts were pretty good with a decent variety but they could probably add more elevated options to order here as well, even if they aren’t included with the all you can eat.

We came for a friend’s birthday dinner, and I had no idea what was coming. Be.Steak.A is the absolutely best steak place in the Bay Area. Beats hands down any of the other high end steak houses I have been to. My main course was the long aged Koji, can’t even begin to describe how delicious it was. The Carpaccio is phenomenal as well. And we had delicious wines to go with it. The ambiance holds up, and service is impeccable. The prices are of course substantial, but worth every dollar you pay! Returned for another dinner. Again amazing. Absolutely top!

I seriously have no words that I can express Be.Steak.A. I've been there 2 times now. Once in October or so of last year, I had the Be.Dip for Lunch, and seriously I have had DREAMS about that Sandwich. It's seriously out of this world. Then yesterday, I was again in San Jose(I'm not in the Bay area often or I'd be here VERY often). I called and asked if the Be.Dip was still available since Sundays they do this insane thing cause the Grand Buffett, all you can eat Beef Wellington, Prime Rib, Seafood, etc... essentially Heaven in San Jose. The Be.Dip was still available(since it's not a buffet item), I was ecstatic. I went on over at like 8:15pm. The Staff was honestly, and I don't take this lightly, the best in America. I've traveled to lots and lots of other countries and they are on par with the hospitality of other countries in terms of ACTUALLY caring for their customers. I was blown away. I ended up getting the Bolognese pasta (with a Be.Dip to go, call me a glutton, I just don't care). I swear to you, I had a staight up Ratatouille moment, when in the movie the food critic got transported to his childhood. I don't exactly know where I went, but when I came out of literally blacking out or something, I had a tear in my eye. I honestly don't know what the frick happened to me. It was so far above "best food ever" type of thing, that it honestly transcended to the 4th dimension. Seriously I can't explain it. The Hospitality, The Food, The Dedication to their Craft & Customer Satisfaction is truly unheard of. This place would make Gordon Ramsey blush. This is San Jose's (Campbell's) Hidden Gem, every single time I am in the San Jose area. I will be back. It's worth every penny. Don't even look at the pricing on the menu, this is the 1 place in the world where the price honestly doesn't matter. You will understand the saying, "it's worth every penny." If I could give this place 12 out of 5 stars. I'd still go higher. I'm beyond impressed. Kudos not just to the head chef, and the chefs under him, but literally every single person who works there. You are under the utmost respect, care, appreciation and it really shows. My hat is off to you Be.Steak.A. Much love to you guys.

The best steakhouse I've been to in the Bay Area. They have friendly service, a welcoming atmosphere, and most importantly, their steaks are amazing! I love their filet mignon and prime rib of beef, they're so tasty!

One of the high end steakhouse around Campbell Pruneyard. When you first walk in the door, you will be greeted with they bone broth. Following, you will be walking through the busy kitchen and seeing all the actions behind the scenes. The staffs are super friendly and helpful. The furnitures, the decors, the utensils are all well picked and assemble nicely all together. Then comes the food. You have a wide range of appetizers to pick from they are all in their pinnacle form as the size is a bit small, you might need to order couple appetizers. Similar goes for the pasta, the quality is great, the portion is pretty compact. Of course, you have selections of meat, divided in two main categories large format like tomahawk and small format like wagyu/snow beef. Aside from steak, you only have limited alternative like pork chop, salmon and lobster. Overall, the dinning is experience is excellent. I will say Be Steak A is similar to Alexander yet with some differences. Be Steak A focus more on the quality, a modern twist of the traditional steak house while Alexander gives you more selections in the cuts of meat but the cook quality is a notch off Be Steak A. Finally, it comes the price, the 5 of us, with a bottle of wine and some cocktails, it is above 900, 180 a person. However, if you just wanna enjoy the food, I will say you are looking at about 100-150 a person.

Epic Feast 💯 Some times…I over order. We had a celebratory meal at Be.Steak.A and I just may have ordered everything on the menu I admittedly got overly excited to be with family and the portion sizes may just have increased from my first visit when they first opened The food, service and presentation are stellar and now I KNOW my favorites 📷 Chateaubriand for Two $85 per person ~ roasted, sauce roanne, sauce béarnaise / Bisteca Alla Fioretina $4.95 per oz, roasted onion, soubise / Prime Rib of Beef $66 ~ roasted onion, natural jus, horseradish cream, basil crostino, English cut / Truffled Sunnyside Up Egg $8 / Rock Shrimp Gratin $19 ~ white polenta, zucchini, butter / Street Corn Carbonara $16 ~ guancialle, egg yolk, pecorino romano, black pepper / Yam Stones $15 ~ fried yam gnocchi, truffled sour cream, fennel pollen / Raspberry Ramos $19 / That’s a Spicy Meatball $5 ~ calabrian chili-tomato sauce, fennel pollen / Smoked Clam Croquette $7 ~ prosciutto san daniele / Tiny Onion Soup $6 ~ crouton, cheese goo / Lobster Roll $26 ~ meyer lemon mayo, pickled peppers, brioche / Lamb Chop Scottadito $19 ~ amaro jalapeño jelly, pistachio, aioli / Bone Marrow Workshop $85 ~ sauce bordelaise, fettunta / Striped Bass Crudo $24 ~ strawberry chili water, pickled rhubarb, shiso, radish, sumac / Braised Pork Belly $24 ~ pickled chard, orange honey, chard / Polpo con Patate $25 ~ charred octopus, smoked potato, soffrito, candied meyer lemon / Cucumber Melon Salad $18 ~ watermelon dashi, olive toast, thai basil, truffle port reduction / Garganelli $32 ~ dungeness crab, yuzu, serrano, smoked trout roe / Agnolotti al Brasato $26 ~ beef filling, red wine demi-glace, hazelnut pesto /Ravioli $25 ~ preserved lemon ricotta filling, sweet peppers, romesco, saba / Sopressini $26 ~ pancetta, English peas, ricotta salata, cracked pepper / Campanelle $24 ~ porcini white wine, ramps, cured egg yolk, calabrian “gochujang” / Spaghetti alla Chitarra $24 ~ colatura di alichi, zucchini, breadcrumb, candied anchovy / Tajarin $46 ~ special hand cut pasta, siberian caviar, white wine butter sauce, chive 📍Be.Steak.A (Campbell, CA)

One of the best restaurants in the bay Serving portion & Tasting are all up to par The only downside was the bonemarrow workshop seems overpriced by what is truly there. Nonetheless ate here 2x already for brunch and dinner and absolutely good quality food.

Perfection. Came here with my husband on a date night. The entire vibe was magical, we were given bone broth as the host walked us to our table and when we finished our meal we were given little baggies to fill up with Italian candies and then they sent us off into the night with a warm apple cider. We ordered a bottle of wine, 3 cocktails, Koji aged steak, truffle pasta, lobster donut, clam croquette, beef fat popover, cheesecake, and chocolate dessert. We ate everything and could have eaten more.

I love this place! You walk in and are offered bone broth which is so warm and delicious. It’s different every time we come too, which is fun. The restaurant is elegant and spacious with a gorgeous patio and bar. I love their cocktails and wine offerings. They have a really fun cocktail menu book inspired by movies or actors and it changes by season. I haven’t had a bad cocktail here ever. They start you with fresh veggies and dip. It’s a few tasty bites and I’ve noticed this free offering has been pared down significantly compared to when they first opened, but it’s still nice. They have mini bite appetizers which are super fun! I love the baby French onion soup, croquettes, meatball, and more. They change them depending on the season, which is great. My absolute favorite thing on their menu is all of their homemade pastas! We’ve had a mushroom one, agnolotti, seafood fettuccine with caviar, and a raviolo. I don’t eat steak, which is funny because this is a steak place, so I can’t give an opinion on that. Desserts are amazing too! Just check your bill because not once, but twice, our server added a double charge of an expensive item. Once it was an entire bottle of wine! It made me wonder if we got overcharged there before checking the bill. This is definitely a “special occasion” type restaurant because it is expensive, but worth it once in a while.

Went for corporate dinner twice and can only say good things about the restaurant. Staff and food is really amazing. They do everything well and it shows. My only thing is that I tried their fried rice twice now and it is too salty. Otherwise I would say this is a place that will not disappoint.

5 Stars across the board. I would highly recommend to try this place. The service was impeccable, the food and drinks were phenomenal, and the restaurant itself is absolutely gorgeous. The photos I took don't do the food justice. Also took some of the photos after I started eating as it was too good not to dig in.

The renovations turned out really really nice. I felt like I was in one of the Napa restaurants. Service was great but the mask makes it so difficult to hear especially with the background noise. If you are going there for a romantic evening ask for a quieter area if there is one. For the food, exceptional! The smoked cherry peach salad was delicious. The sunflower pasta was beautifully presented and went well with the filet mignon (they are separate dishes). Best filet I have ever eaten. Melts in your mouth. Corkage is $40 with max two bottles. A vintage over 20yrs old gets you free corkage.

I really enjoy the dining experience here. The food are finely seasoned, love the devil egg with truffle on top, my friend order other small bites and satisfied with their choice. We went on with a sharing steak, which is humongous- they gave us a dagger to chop the meat out of the born. It was nicely medium rare ( I am quite impressed because with the big steak people tend to over cook and leave little red inside or it is just too rare, but they made it perfect. A friend of us had a birthday a week before the dine in, they gave us 4 different dessert to taste and also to make up a slightly slow service of the day. The dessert scored real hard. Waiter was polite and kind, they didn’t serve apple martini so I pick on from the menu and happy with my choice.

This is our new favorite birthday/anniversary/celebration restaurant. The food here is stunningly good. It's not complicated or contrived, but they take whole and very fresh ingredients and combine + prepare them in ways that really wow your tastes. The service is of course: excellent. This restaurant is destined to be Michelin star'd. I think the head chef already has Michelin star experience. The one minor gripe I have about this restaurant is the 5% surcharge silently added to every bill. I don't understand why it's necessary and there isn't any explanation on the check to indicate where the money is going. The prices are already high enough at this location, I'm really not sure why the 5% surcharge is needed...

Found this place being reviewed on YouTube and had to make a reservation. We just left maybe two hours ago and I'm compelled to write this review. First, the ambiance was beautiful. Very modern and the decor was impressive. We came here on a Sunday for brunch and one of the first things I did was visit the ladies room. Can I just say bidet, wow! If you don't know what it is look it up and if you haven't tried one here's your chance. The stalls are private and named after old Hollywood celebrities. The restaurant layout and food offerings are stunning. I hope I can upload the video of the tour I did. Everything we ate was crafted beautifully with flavors that you can only get from a fine dining establishment. Everything from the caviar, oysters, scallops, shrimp, beef Wellington, pork loin, anchita, waffles, clam chowder, truffle deviled egg and so much more was just a culinary experience that everyone should have the opportunity to try. I had the pleasure of being waited on by Carlos, and the mixologist Ray. Between the two of them we felt like royalty. Ray made the best cocktails that took you on a journey of taste buds extravaganza!! The only thing we didn't particularly enjoy was the desserts on the bar. Nothing exceptional about those, however if you really want a great dessert go to the hot food section and get the Apple fritter and the monkey bread...wow wee!!! Worth the money, worth the drive, worth the visit. A definite recommend!

Be.Steak.A was a fantastic experience. We went there to celebrate my partner's birthday, and it was the perfect place for that. The service was excellent, and the food was very good. Here's how we ranked the dishes: - Lamb Carpaccio - 9/10. The meat was very tasty, and the mustard grains were great. - Burrata and Prosciutto - 9/10. A great mix of fresh and aged flavors. The sweet notes and pine nuts were very flavorful. - Pappardelle - 9/10. Lots of mushrooms with a deep earthy flavor and fresh handmade pasta. - Lobster Tortellini - 10/10. Beautifully presented, and the caviar on top made the dish exceptional. - New York 20oz Steak - 7.5/10. Very tender, like a sous-vide steak that was seared. The pepper sauce added a great kick. - Key Lime Pie - 9/10. A very cool take on a key lime dessert. - Passion Fruit Pie - 7.5/10. A bit too mushy, but the flavors were okay. Overall, it was a great experience. Five stars, and we will definitely be back.

This place was such a wonderful experience to dine at. Right off the Nat you open an incredibly sturdy front door and are greeted by the front of staff with a hot cup of chicken bone broth that warms you up and gets your stomach going. The menus are provided and fresh seasonal vegetables are provided with a creamy dipping sauce. Very bright and tasty. We asked for cocktail recommendations based on what flavors we usually like and they absolutely nailed it with the espresso martini and the raspberry egg foam cocktail. The koji aged New York strip was the star of the show but everything was so well crafted. We enjoyed looking into the beautifully lit kitchen with a glass viewing window. Overall each detail was very catered and curated and for that I hand to recommend this place as a fantastic special event dinner for you and your loved one.

Quite possibly the best dining experience we’ve ever had. From the moment you walk in you’re treated like royalty and you’re immediately treated to culinary excellence with a delicious cup of bone broth. You walk by the kitchen which is viewable and the chef greets you. They have a 50 page wine list and amazing cocktails. The service was bar none and it’s the attention to detail that stands out (pineapples in ice? Check!) Our sparkling water service was impeccable; our glasses were never empty. The food was amazing! Everything we had we loved. One of the best filets I’ve ever had. Pricey? Yes, but this is an experience to be had. Well, well worth it. Don’t miss this gem!

Never disappointed! The service is spot on. The staff is lovely. The drinks are fantastic. The food is devine. The presentation and flavors are always equal in beauty and quality. The textures are perfectly done. It is not a low-cost experience, but it's worth it. Thank you to Kevin and Carmine for being wonderful managers. Fabulous evening! ❤️

Greeted with a broth, walked out to our reserved patio table, which was near a fireplace and heaters. The waitress was extremely attentive to food allergies, and the special occasion. We had ample time to order. The food and cocktails were amazing. The Raspberry Gin Fizz is finished at the table. Every dish was amazing, and we hit the candy bar on the way out. What a fun dinner experience with such nice staff.

My newish tradition is going here for my birthday, they have a great selection of whiskeys/bourbons, from $20 pours to $600+. The wine selection is also vast, organized by varietal & region. The service every visit has been excellent (Michelin star worthy), the menu and presentation has changed over the years keeping options fresh. The pasta portions were a bit smaller this last visit, but the handmade pastas were delicious! I highly recommend the hot stone trio, being able to warm the 3 different steaks table side is awesome! Most interesting dish of the night was the pear/mushroom carpaccio, light, refreshing and savory! We'll be back soon!

Found this place on Resy with tons of availability and decided to book it for my anniversary. I read other reviews about their service and it really is no joke. The service is amazing and our server helped guide us through the menu & made amazing recommendations. The steaks were seriously good. I am usually not a fan of steakhouses as their steaks have no flavor but these steaks were cooked perfectly and had a huge amount of flavor which I’m a fan of. All the drinks and sides were delicious as well! Yam balls were amazing, prosciutto wrapped fried clam was an amazing bite and the pasta was solid. We ordered the creme brûlée and got the tiramisu on the house and both were amazing - probably the best of both dishes I’ve ever had. Drinks were very pretty and nice + sweet. Overall an amazing experience - even after our meal they have a table full of candy you can take home and they invited us into the kitchen to see their operations and met the head chef. Highly recommend for any occasion and will definitely be back.

I found an awesome steakhouse called BE.STEAK.A in Campbell, Bay Area, which is a pre - Michelin-recommended restaurant. Their vibe is amazing, and I've been there four times already since my Taiwanese friend introduced it to me. It opened in 2014 and is about to became a Michelin guide restaurant. Their cocktails are one of the highlights, and their menu is like a novel. We ended up ordering four of them. Their starters and main courses are all quite impressive: Hamachi Crudo for $22 - This Japanese yellowtail sashimi with cucumber was just amazing. Caviar bites for $15 - You get a spoonful of caviar, which they scrape onto your hand. It feels quite unique and cool! Club House Steak for $200+ - It's the largest size of steak on the menu, but I feel like their regular ribeye tastes better. Although it looks fancy, for the same price, you could get a Tomahawk Steak or even upgrade to Hokkaido Snow Beef. Chocolate Flex - This dessert looks beautiful, but it's too salty for my taste. I wouldn't recommend it. The restaurant is spacious, with many seating options inside and a beautiful outdoor balcony area. I've sat there once, and it was lovely. We ended up spending around $200 per person because we ordered too many cocktails. Over all it is great!

This place is owned by the Orchard City Kitchen people and its just as good but for special occasions. Everything is fantastic. We had a number of the cocktails and there wasn't a wrong decision to be made. The sweet potato gems are a delight. The teasing bites were also a wonderful surprise. They're tiny, but packed with flavor. They're the cheapest add on you'll have all night, so splurge on them. The little French onion soup and the croquette were both exceptional.

Be prepared to be transported the minute you walk into this place. Every little detail from the tableware, serving presentation and food itself. Overall solid dining experience and top notch food. The filet mignon practically melted in my mouth and everything else was delicious.

We made a last minute reservation at BeSteakA for my lady's birthday dinner. Came with a couple of good friends. The four of us experienced BeSteakA's 5-Star treatment. The hostess offered us a tasty bone broth before we were even seated. You get a chance to peak into the huge kitchen on the way to the table. We sat outside with the weather being perfect. Started with table side Caesar salad, bread and butter, Scallops, Shrimp Cocktail and a few signature drinks from the bar. Entrées were juicy Prime Rib, Filet Mignon, Lobster Pasta and a side of Creamed Corn and Yam Stones. Everything was presented beautifully and full of flavor. Not heavily salted either, which is a common mistake a lot of fancy restaurants make. Dessert... We brought our own for the birthday girl. Charged a cake slicing fee, but that's okay. Similar to a corkage fee. We all had a great time and will come back someday.

Paul is the reason I keep coming back to Be.Steak.A. I’ve been requesting him as our server for over a year now, and he never disappoints. His fun personality paired with truly first-class service elevates the entire dining experience. He’s attentive without being overbearing, genuinely funny, and always makes us feel taken care of from start to finish. Hands down, Paul is the best server I’ve had the pleasure of being served by—he turns a great meal into a memorable experience every single time.

My Unforgettable Encounter with Be.Steak.A: A Symbiosis of Environment, Gastronomy, and Service. Well, fellow foodies and wine lovers, let me take you on a culinary journey I embarked on a few weeks back. My palate and I had the pleasure of visiting Be.Steak.A in Campbell, Santa Clara County, California. Let me tell you, folks, it was quite the gastronomic adventure, to say the least! Walking into Be.Steak.A, I was immediately struck by the atmosphere - think warm, inviting, and effortlessly sophisticated. This is a place that manages to balance an air of elegance with a homey, welcoming vibe, a delicate dance that many establishments try but fail to achieve. The interior decor was chic yet understated, providing a comfortable backdrop that lets the real star of the show shine - the food. And shine it did. But hold your horses, folks, let's not get ahead of ourselves. The success of a restaurant doesn't just hinge on the quality of its food - it starts from the very moment you set foot inside. Service at Be.Steak.A is nothing short of stellar. The staff, attentive but unobtrusive, showed the sort of hospitality that makes you feel less like a customer and more like a cherished guest. They displayed a keen understanding of the menu, demonstrating not just a passing knowledge of the dishes but a real passion for what they serve. Every recommendation was spot on, every description piqued my interest, and every interaction added a touch more magic to the experience. Now, onto the gastronomy – the pièce de résistance. As a wine and gourmet expert, my taste buds have been around the block a few times. They're not easily impressed, but boy, did they have a field day at Be.Steak.A. The menu boasted a fine selection of dishes, but as the name suggests, the focus is on steak – and believe me when I say, it is absolutely worth the spotlight. The steaks are a carnivorous ballet, each a testament to the art of grilling. Perfectly seared with a crusty exterior that gives way to tender, juicy meat within. The balance of flavors and textures is nothing short of poetry on a plate. And let’s not forget the accompaniments - thoughtfully chosen, well-prepared, and every bit as delicious. As for the wine – well, dear readers, let's just say that the selection had me feeling like a kid in a candy store. Their wine list was a well-curated delight that had something for every palate, from the casual wine lover to the seasoned connoisseur. Their selection married beautifully with the food, each wine opening up a new dimension of flavor in each dish. So, there you have it – Be.Steak.A, a haven where great food, excellent service, and a fantastic atmosphere come together in perfect harmony. It's an experience that satisfies not just the stomach but the soul. And isn’t that what great dining is all about? Special mention deserve ChateauBriand and The Cake (amazing cake) pairing with Sauternes. For this occasion, we paring our main courses with Marqués de Murrieta, 2017 (Finca Ygay) It's been some time since I've had the chance to pair dishes with Spanish wines, as my focus has largely shifted towards the wines of California recently. A profound, gleaming ruby hue sets the stage. On the nose, aromas of cherry, red currant, and pipe tobacco playfully intertwine with floral and vanilla notes, making for a truly expressive bouquet. The palate is vibrant and lively, brimming with flavors of bitter cherry, red berries, and a layer of spicecake that adds complexity. This wine truly stands out as a triumphant creation. Perfect to pairing with Chateaubriand. I hope this little recap stoked your appetite and got you excited to try out Be.Steak.A yourself. As they say, the proof of the pudding (or in this case, the steak) is in the eating. Happy dining, folks!

Really enjoyed the food. Our server realized our pasta dish was taking too long and checked on it without us even asking. He found out it had been missed so he gave us a complimentary dessert! This was our second time and will definitely come back, maybe for brunch next time.

Bustling and fun + sleek interior space. Amazing steaks and food. Wine was good but wine service just OK. All appetizers were tasty and memorable and the Steak was phenomenal. Went for the dry aged bone in NY strip + truffle pasta for mains + a few small bites. Perfect amount for 2 ppl. Desserts were solid.

Had an absolutely amazing meal here! The cocktails were delicious as they took a little twist to the traditional mai thai. Luke did an amazing job with our large party! He made us feel like family and made some killer recommendations throughout the night! The tiny onion soup was so rich and so good. I will be coming back for that one! The surf and turf was delicious as the meat and shrimp just melted in your mouth. The baked Alaska had some of the best marshmallow I have tasted in awhile. Highly recommend and will be going back! Thank you to the amazing staff! Luke and Brian, you guys are great!!

Everything was excellent. Michael and Victor at the bar really knew their stuff, and made the whole experience very enjoyable. Though they didn't have sweet tea, they were the first restaurant I've ever had bring me sweet syrup instead of sugar packets to make my own, and it was great to be able to choose my own sweetness level. All staff is extremely professional, and the bathroom has fun toilets that are also clean. Definitely plan on coming back!

BE.STEAK.A is simply amazing in every aspect! The quality, amount and service is second to none. The best high end steak house I've ever been to and I've been to a lot of them across the country. You get what you pay for and more. There were 16 of us and everyone had the same opinion. It's quite expensive but way worth it.

This has become our go-to place for special occasion dinners and for an AMAZING Sunday brunch! The staff is welcoming and warm, especially the sommelier team. I love the mismatched china, which feels homey and elevated at the same time. The cocktails are so good, with really fun names, too.

Amazing dine-in experience!!! Highly recommended it! The service was great! It started with a cup of hot chicken soup at check-in. Taking you to the reserved table with your birthday card signed on it! The staff also recommended the great food based on your preferences. There was a small vegetable appetizer as a birthday perk. At the end, it also came with a surprise dessert!! The attention to detail was fabulous, which greatly added to the wonderful experiences. The atmosphere was good! A bit noisy but okay! Interestingly, it was comfortable to wear a coat while dining. Maybe that’s why they also provided a small cup of hot chocolate when you were leaving!!

Excellent steakhouse, somehow with Italian fusion. It is luxury and expensive. However, it is worth the experience. Since most of their signature steaks are large portions, I will recommend going with large group to try different meats and cuts. The staff were nice and friendly.

We were a little resistant to try this place because my husband is a great cook and his steaks are heard to beat at restaurants but this place excels in not only steaks but their fish and pasta items are phenomenal. The service is outstanding. Love how they rotate their menu and their cocktails are always on point!

Unforgettable Dining Experience at be.steaka I’ve dined at restaurants five times the price of be.steaka, but none have left an impression like this one. From the moment we arrived, we were treated with genuine warmth and hospitality that’s become all too rare. Wedad, the hostess, greeted us with such grace and kindness—it felt like we were being welcomed into someone’s home. While we waited briefly for our table, they surprised us with a warm cup of mushroom soup. That simple gesture set the tone for what turned out to be an incredible night. Dean, our server, was equally fantastic—knowledgeable, attentive, and thoughtful without being intrusive. He guided us through the menu and made sure everything came out perfectly. And the food? Absolutely show-stopping. Every bite was beautifully prepared and full of flavor. I’ve had fine dining experiences at much higher price points that didn’t come close to this. be.steaka is more than just a great meal—it’s the kind of experience that reminds you why you love dining out.

Overall an excellent experience! Decided to drop in here last minute for an anniversary. Service was top notch with a good balance between attentive and allowing privacy. Our server explained the menu, provided eucalyptus towels to fresh our hands before the meal, and was very informative. Also mentioned that the menu was recently updated after a chef returned from Italy. The ribeye steak hit the spot! Couldn't decide whether I liked it better with the truffle sauce or carrots vichy, which added a sweet touch to it. Nice interior, clean bathrooms with bidets, and a salt scrub at the sink which really leaves your hands feeling soft, moisturized, and nourished! The only thing that I actually did not like was my chair. It was a bit large, slightly declined, and low--fine for relaxing back and lounging, but not for those with stiff hips or back pain. I sat at the edge of my seat with my feet underneath the chair, pressed on my toes and effortfully extended my back in order to eat comfortably.

We were here on 3 separate occasions; Sunday Brunch, Summer Tasting Menu and a Dinner. We were very impressed with the food, staff and ambience all three times. When making our dinner reservations recently, we mentioned we were celebrating our anniversary that night on the reservation page and we were pleasantly surprised to see a greeting card signed by the chef and all other staff, waiting for us at our table. After our Summer Tasting Menu dinner, which had tasty dishes that we will remember for a long time, we got to go to the kitchen and speak to chef Patrick Capurro, who was very down to earth. Their Sunday Brunch was fantastic and had numerous food options to choose from. It was a LOT of food but we enjoyed every bit of it thoroughly. Will absolutely go back again!

Just really perfect experience for fine dining from reception with hot bone broth to the beautiful Italian dishes and chic non stuffy decor. 😋 steaks had amazing delicate flavor and sides were definitely not an afterthought!! Extensive wine collection and cutest cocktail menu I've ever seen. Love these unquestionably unique touches. Service was like you had your own private butler! Go and enjoy a next level dinner!!

This may be my favorite restaurant in the entire area. Number one the food is amazing. The steak is as good as any place I’ve ever had it. The appetizers were delicious. And the sides were scrumptious. Number two, the service is next level. From the moment you step up to the restaurant from outside, and they automatically open the door for you, to being served a cup of warm bone broth upon entry, to the seating experience, and throughout the entire meal. But let’s talk more about the food. For starters, they gave the table a small dish of garlic cheese in olive oil to go with a couple of fresh veggies and edible flowers. Very nice touch. Their bartenders must be magicians because the two cocktails we had were simply unbelievable. Specifically suggest Mikey‘s milk punch if you like pineapple and coconut. We also had a couple of glasses of Malbec from France. All the appetizers were good: bone marrow, focaccia, French onion, soup, deviled eggs, and Caesar salad. I will admit the Caesar salad was a little on the tart side. We had three different entrées and I’d rate them all great to spec spectacular. Ribeye steaks, or nicely seasoned with just enough of that fatness that you want. But I loved the center cut strip steak. The texture was perfect. And they make an absolute perfect medium rare the last dish or scallops. And I personally enjoyed the bread crumb crust they fry on one side. Notable side dishes include the pork, fried rice, the black, bean sauce, asparagus, and the rock shrimp gratin. I’m already thinking of a plan to come back again!

We stopped by Be.Steak.A just for dessert after dining elsewhere — and wow, what a treat! We grabbed seats at the bar and ordered four different desserts, each one beautifully crafted and totally unique. Crème brûlée was a stunner — topped with delicate orange slices that looked like little flowers resting on a pistachio field. Chocolate budino came with a giant marshmallow and was incredibly rich and indulgent. Tiramisu was our favorite — they prepare it tableside, which made it even more special. Strawberry parfait had an unexpected but delicious sesame accent that really surprised us. Every dish was a feast for both the eyes and the palate. From presentation to flavor, Be.Steak.A nailed it. Can’t wait to come back — maybe next time for dinner and dessert!

BE.STEAK.A never ceases to provide a great meal service to my friends and family. Each time we go they are above and beyond with their hospitality and service. We have had a different server each time we go, yet it always feels like someone who has helped us before. They have great selections for steak (obviously) but what stands out for me and one of the main reasons I go is for their truffle pasta. It’s truly one of the most delicious pasta dishes in the Bay Area. Definitely will be back again.

My recent visit here for an early Valentine's Day dinner was a very positive experience. Reserving a table a few days prior was simple; a quick phone call was all it took. Arriving around 6:30 pm, we found plenty of tables available. Upon arrival, we were greeted with warm chicken broth, a thoughtful touch as we were escorted to our table. Our server, Bob, was outstanding. He was friendly, professional, and demonstrated extensive knowledge of the menu. We ordered a couple of appetizers, ravioli, and the lobster pasta (the specific name of which I don't recall). Of the appetizers, the French onion soup was delicious, the broth rich yet light. The spicy meatballs were a standout. The lobster pasta was the highlight of our meal, surpassing the ravioli. The ravioli, made with veal, unfortunately had an aroma that I found off-putting. The lobster pasta, on the other hand, was delicious and had a wonderful umami flavor. We also ordered a side of truffle fries, and the portion was enormous! We ended up taking most of them home. The accompanying sauce was sensational, a perfect complement to the fries. I would definitely return to explore other menu items. The service here elevates fine dining to a new level.

Had an amazing experience from start to finish! We were surprising my mom for her birthday, and the hosts and the waitress did a wonderful job helping us pull off the surprise. The restaurant gave her a hand-signed card with a nice surprise inside and a dessert, which were thoughtful touches to celebrate a big milestone. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, the vibe was laid-back but lively, and the decor was modern, clean, and cozy. The service was fantastic and everybody we encountered was friendly and welcoming. The cocktails were thoughtfully crafted and well executed. The presentation added a touch of playfulness and luxury. They also have an extensive wine list. They had a great variety of seasonal starters and small plates to warm up your palette. Our favorites were the foccacia di recco, classic wedge, burrata pugliese (add the proscuitto!), and the roasted bone marrow. Very familiar flavors yet elevated and exciting. The handmade pasta was the highlight of the meal! We ordered the strangozze and the rigatoni amatriciana - both were perfectly al dente with flavorful sauces. Super comforting and satisfying. We also ordered the Mega-Hawk Chop (Australian Wagyu) to share. It was perfectly cooked to order and made for a great photo opportunity but didn't have as much flavor or seasoning as I hoped so would probably pass on this dish next time. Be.Steak.A is a beautiful restaurant with attentive service and delicious food. Highly recommend!

Be.Steak.A is a contemporary Italian-influenced steakhouse recognized by the Michelin guide. They are open nightly for dinner, as well as lunch on Fridays and Saturdays. On Sundays they have an extra special treat of an all-you-can-eat (AYCE) brunch buffet, which is what I had the pleasure of experiencing. The AYCE brunch buffet is priced at $125 per person - drinks and other specials are available as an extra charge (like their tomahawk steak). Given the popularity of the brunch buffet (and the restaurant in general), reservations are highly recommended! My party of 6 arrived for our 10:30am reservation on a sunny Sunday morning eager to enjoy their all-you-can-eat brunch buffet. Once our entire party had arrived, we were invited to enjoy a glass of complimentary prosecco or sparkling apple juice (a lovely non-alcoholic choice). Afterwards we were led to our table, and then released on our own to enjoy their various offerings. Their cold buffet is located in the main dining room and this consists of (what I will be calling) their salad table, their charcuterie table, their appetizer table, the drinks station, and the dessert bar. Meanwhile they've also opened up their kitchen complete with warm food offerings including a pastry/baked goods section, a meat carving station, a classic breakfast station (think eggs, sausage, bacon), and (one of my personal favorites) a build-your-own waffle bar (not pictured because I was too excited to eat it). With so many options at your fingertips, it can be hard to decide where to start - personally I would recommend starting in the kitchen with the warm selections so you can enjoy those right off the bat, followed by snacking on the cold buffet options. In the kitchens, we helped ourselves to a slice of their prime rib, filet mignon, and beef wellington. I also grabbed some traditional breakfast goods including bacon and a waffle topped with whipped cream and strawberries. From the cold buffet outside, some of our favorite selections included: speck and prosciutto from the charcuterie table, caviar on blinis complete with sour cream and chives, and the yogurt parfait (which I added plenty of fresh raspberries and strawberries to). The drinks available to us included cucumber water, pineapple line agua fresca, and orange juice. I can't say enough about the sheer volume of desserts you can chose from - there's everything from cakes to creme brule, to gelato, absolutely perfect for anyone with a sweet tooth. Some of my favorites were the tiramisu and the gelato (our options were mango, chocolate, and vanilla). The food was all well cooked and well-prepared (though I will saw some of the meat selections were bit on the dry side, though that's probably to be expected from a buffet-style restaurant and the meat is often sitting out for a bit by the time you help yourself to a piece). Personally, I think the $125/person price tag is a bit steep for this; however, they do provide a wide range of food options so as long as you eat to your heart's content I'm sure you'll be able to make it worth your while. Needless to say, this Be.Steak.A's AYCE brunch buffet is something you need to experience for yourself as reading about this establishment can only tell you so much. If you now find yourself intrigued, then definitely consider making a reservation! (p.s. if you celebrate your birthday here, they'll give you a personalized birthday card and a sparkler to round out your meal!)

The food is really, really good. Our server suggested we share a pasta and one of the larger steaks, and that was plenty of food for the two of us. The Tortelli pasta with wild boar ragu was excellent and reminded us of a similar dish we'd had in Florence. We chose the prime rib and that was well-prepared and our sides were very tasty. Lots of diners were having the sticky toffee pudding, prepared flaming at tableside, but we skipped that and just went for sorbet (also very good). Service was very attentive at first, but then it took quite a while for our mains to be cleared (the restaurant was quite busy by that time). Another issue is that their wines by the glass and cocktails seem over-priced, even by restaurant standards. But overall it's a pricey restaurant: more of a special occasion place vs. a place I'd be a regular at.

Our team recently hosted a dinner for 8+ guests, and the entire experience was absolutely outstanding. From the moment we arrived, the service, ambiance, and food were top-tier and exactly what you hope for in a fine dining restaurant. A huge shoutout to Bob, who took such phenomenal care of us throughout the evening!! He anticipated our needs, guided us through the menu with great recommendations, and made sure everything ran flawlessly. Because of him, our entire team enjoyed a 10/10 experience. We explored several dishes across the menu like steaks, sides, appetizers, and desserts... and every single plate was beautifully presented and full of incredible flavor. It’s rare for a large group to unanimously agree on a meal, but Be A Steak genuinely delivered for all of us. Highly recommend for business dinners, team celebrations, and anyone looking for an elevated, memorable dining experience. We will absolutely be back!

The aesthetics and decor are absolutely beautiful and set the tone as soon as you walk in. Everything feels intentional and stylish without trying too hard. On top of that, the staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, which always makes a big difference. The food was delicious across the board. Everything we ordered was flavorful and clearly well prepared, making it worth the visit for the food alone. Overall, Be.Steak.A is a great spot with amazing ambiance, great service, and really good food.

On Saturday, Jan 17, 2026, my wife and I dined at BeSteak.A for lunch at 2 pm. Let me start off by saying the restaurant is beautiful and very well designed. The huge door at the front entrance looks really cool when you walk in. The decor, vibe, and atmosphere are all on point. Everything inside of the restaurant from the tables, chairs, bar, and kitchen are all high-end. They even have heated toilet seats that'll spray, wash, and dry you after you go number 2. Pretty cool! We made a reservation through OpenTable and were seated right away. I made a reservation through OpenTable about a month prior. On the day of my reservation, I received a call from the hostess at BeSteak.A asking if I would like to come in earlier to enjoy the whole dining experience and so things don't get cut short due to the kitchen closing a little after 2 pm. I found this strange and odd. Why would BeSteak.A allow you to make a reservation through OpenTable at 2 p.m., but then the hostess calls and says your dining experience might be cut short due to the kitchen closing after their lunch service/hours? It doesn't make sense. If the kitchen closes at a certain time and they're not willing to make and serve dishes after a specific time, a 2 pm. reservation for lunch shouldn't be available then. We kept our original 2 pm. reservation and were served every dish we ordered, and I saw kitchen staff members working the whole time in their open see-through glass kitchen windows, so I'm not sure what the issue was or why the hostess called offering for us to come into the restaurant at an earlier time. Here's what we ordered. The Arancini small bite was good. It's beyond small so order 2. The Cappellacci di Zucca was probably the best out of everything we ordered, in my opinion. The pasta was cooked perfectly and the flavors were all on point. Very well executed. The BeSteak.A burger fell short in many ways. The burger wasn't seasoned at all. The meat tasted bland and lacked flavor. The 3 slices of cheese had no flavor and you could barely taste the secret sauce because there was barely any sauce on the burger. It definitely wasn't worth the $30 I paid. Hard pass on the burger! The Filet Mignon was cooked to perfection. Very tender and juicy. The pork sausage fried rice was a huge letdown. I was looking forward to this dish the most, and it fell short in many ways. First of all, it was so damn spicy that it was literally inedible! The heat of the peppers 🌶 they used were too damn hot! My mouth was literally on fire within a few seconds after taking a bite, and I can tolerate spicy food. It was so spicy that you couldn't even tell what type of meat was in the pork fried rice or what you were eating. It was painful and unpleasurable to eat! I mentioned to our waiter Paul that the pork fried rice (which he said is his favorite) was way too spicy and inedible and Paul said, oh yeah, the heat of the peppers inside the dish varies. They could've at least comped the pork fried rice, but they didn't. The rice was burnt, too, which added more salt to the open wound. Huge let down! The Yam Stones were decadent and beyond good! A must order. The chocolate souffle and Toffee Sticky Pudding were excellent. They both hit the spot. Overall, the dining experience at BeSteak.A. was good. It's a really beautiful restaurant. Some of the dishes fell short, like the burger and inedible pork fried rice due to it literally burning the entire inside of your mouth and lips from the super hot peppers 🌶. If the restaurant would've comped my pork fried rice or offered to make us another one without the peppers or chili oil, I would definitely recommend BeSteak.A to others, and I would also come back and dine here again. I'm really into spending my hard earned money on food, and I'm a true foodie in general. But I honestly won't be coming back to BeSteak.A anytime soon or in the near future due to the above reasons, which is a shame because this restaurant has some huge potential. 3.5 stars at best.

I should have told them the steak was under cooked for what I wanted- I was expecting to be blown away by the best steak ever and I wasn’t - instead I was blown away by the service, oysters, and ugh the price

Had a blast celebrating a double birthday here with a big group – they totally hooked us up with the table setup. The bone marrow and burrata appetizers were killer, and those Porterhouse and Mega-Hawk Chop steaks? Cooked perfect. Plus, they even surprised us with free Baked Alaska! Our servers were awesome all night. Seriously good experience

Made a reservation for Be.Steak through OpenTable and mentioned that it was a special occasion. I thought with the price point and a heads up, the restaurant would make our stay eventful for an occasion. Aside from that, that food was delicious and creative. Honestly with the prices and portions, I really enjoyed the bread service for $10. The recommended pasta fell short of expectations. The steak sandwich was delicious with a generous portion. Considering everything, we will be back. Hopefully for the Sunday buffet!

Pretty tasty overall, and you can tell each dish was carefully made with some creativity. But the price felt a bit too high for what it was, and the value didn’t quite match. There are other places I’d probably pick first. It’s fine to try once if you’ve never been, but not something I’d keep going back for.

Service was excellent, so was the food. No complaints there. The only reason I'm deducting a star is because just how expensive they are. $66 for a 14 oz cut of prime rib? $16 for a side of cut up corn? $16 for a side of asparagus? Yes good and delicious, but frankly way overpriced. On top of all that I see an item on the bill labeled "5% surcharge". I asked what that was for and they said "to cover health insurance for the kitchen staff". First of all, with charging these exorbitant prices, why isn't the business incurring that cost? Secondly, why even mention it on the bill? Wouldn't it be just easier to roll that cost right into the price of the food items? The customer is paying for it anyway. I guess they think charging $66 for a plate of prime rib looks better than almost $70. My suggestion to management, cut out the chicken broth as people walk in, and the "complimentary" raw vegetables, so you can charge a reasonable price for your menu items and perhaps even cover your employees health plan without passing it on to the customers. Oh well, all in all even though good food and service, I won't be going back.

My friends and I visited Be.Steak.Ã on a Sunday for their lunch buffet. The buffet costs $110 pp before taxes and tips. Any drinks that you order are an additional charge. Be.Steak.Ã's Sunday lunch buffet was a symphony of flavors and experiences punctuated by moments of both pure indulgence and slight stumbles. While not quite hitting a perfect five-star score, it certainly earns a solid four stars, leaving me with a positive overall impression. Right when you enter the restaurant, you are greeted by the front desk staff and offered a complimentary drink. You can pick from either a sparking wine or an apple cider. After we got our complimentary drinks, the staff escorted us to our table where our server walked us through the basics - the layout of the buffet, the drinks menu, and how the buffet works. Ambiance and Atmosphere: Stepping into Be.Steak.A felt like entering a sun-drenched villa in the Mediterranean. Vibrant blues, reds, and whites washed over the space, accented by warm wood details. Light streamed through large windows, creating a bright and airy atmosphere. While the tables were spaced comfortably, the lively buzz of conversations filled the restaurant, creating a vibrant yet relaxed social vibe. Service: Our server Colton was attentive, funny, and knowledgeable. He patiently explained the extensive buffet offerings and gave us enough heads up before the buffet closed. The service was on point and impressive. Every time we got back to your table after filling another plate with food, the staff had already taken care of all the empty plates on our table. This provided a seamless dining experience. The Feast: Now, onto the star of the show - the buffet! The spread was truly impressive, offering a dizzying array of options. Unlimited portions of glistening oysters, smoked salmon, plump shrimp, and fresh caviar were a decadent start. Succulent cuts of meats, from melt-in-your-mouth juicy prime rib to beef wellington and filet mignon, satisfied the carnivore in all of us. The sides were equally impressive, featuring roasted vegetables, fruits, skewers, sausages, croquettes, and many more items showcasing a focus on fresh seasonal ingredients The dessert table was a sugary wonderland, boasting a wide array of options - delicate pastries, decadent cakes, tiramisu, refreshing sorbets, tarts, candies and whatnot. Every dish was well-prepared and flavorful, highlighting the quality of the ingredients. A Minor Quirk: One of my friends tried the pork ribs, and it tasted a bit funny and had a pungent smell. We told the staff about it. Later, we were informed that the chef tasted it and found nothing wrong. They also mentioned that they use a different relish/ glaze for their ribs, so that could be it, but to be on the safe side, they did throw away that batch of pork ribs. Overall: Be.Steak.A's Sunday lunch buffet is a luxurious and indulgent experience. The combination of exceptional food quality, a vibrant atmosphere, and attentive service makes it a perfect choice for a special occasion or a simply memorable weekend meal. It's definitely pricey, so whether or not you get your money's worth depends on how much you eat and what you eat.

Very nice, new, upscale steak house in Campbell!! From the moment we walked in, everyone was so welcoming. They offered us a broth soup at the entrance, which was perfect on this cold, rainy day. After that we were guided past the exhibition kitchen to our table next to a beautifully decorated bar. A lot of great details at this restaurant from decor to service items. We had steak tartar, truffle fries, pork fried rice, pork belly, broccolini, steaks, prime rib, wine, and more and it was all delicious!! Pricey, but delicious! :)

We dined here on January 11th as part of a work trip. I didn't have to pay so I ordered big! I had the octopus and it was fantastic. I also had a shared appetizer with the rest of the table that came with a few different options. For my meal I had the salmon which I forgot to take a picture of. I believe we were at about 150 per person for this meal. An unusual item that they do when you first get there. They offer you a glass of warm chicken broth. It was just okay. A little fatty tasting for me. The restaurant was super clean as were the restrooms which are always something I look at laying out. My rating system consists of a 3-star being exactly what I expected and neither good nor bad. A 4 means something was extra special whether it was service, food, staff, etc., and a 5 means I was blown away. A 2 star rating was disappointing with no offer to correct the experience and a 1-star rating was terrible

Upscale and fancy, BE.STEAK.A is a beautiful dining experience. While the service and the drinks were amazing, and the restaurant is visually lovely, the food was just ok. Don't get me wrong, the food was well made and attractively prepared, but I thought the tastes would be more exceptional, especially for the price. The staff were top notch with their customer service and made us feel very welcome. I would definitely go again, just to try other dishes and see if my experience was just an awry one.

Had dinner there with some friends. The experience was great! The price is well above average but you’re paying for the experience. The only negative part is that they removed the food so quickly from your table even with it 1/2 eaten. Everyone was so surprised! My friend went to the bathroom and when he was back the appetizer and his salad were gone. Otherwise nice food.

This was definitely an interesting and... memorable experience to say the least. For a steak house, they sure had a good variety of different options: bone marrow, oysters, caviar, koji-aged cuts, and more. As soon as we entered, we were given complimentary cups of bone broth (chicken) and we could sip on it while walking through the restaurant to our table. Great view of the kitchen and overall, a very modern and sleek interior. A very beautiful bar area too. As we're seated, we are immediately served by several people: water options, a walk-through of the menu, and... a strange veggie platter? They gave us one of EACH vegetable, so... one carrot, one snowpea, etc. I would've rather had multiple of one vegetable. It was a strange assortment. Their yuzu mascrapone was quite unique and tasty though! We decided on a few orders for two of us to share: + Striped Bass Crudo: Incredible! The fish quality was delicious and the sauce with pickled rhubarb were very balanced. Not sure if it was worth such a big price tag of $24 for 5 pieces though. + Agnolotti Al Brasato: Rather disappointing... The pasta was not very tender and too firm/thick. The beef filling was not very flavorful either. The light and hearty wine-demi glace was this dish's saving grace. + Red Velvet Shoes: A sweet tequila cocktail that was very easy to drink, but it definitely has that tequila aftertaste! A nice subtle pomergranate flavor. The scorched orange slice atop the drink was sweet and juicy, but seemed randomly added to the drink. + Prime Rib of Beef: SO GOOD! I was so in love with this. We got the English cut for us to share and it was so tender! Every bite just melted. The au ju was not too salty and quite hearty. The horse radish cream was excellent and contrasted the beef well. The croutons were a bit random and very hard to the bite. + Sorbet Trio: That passionfruit ginger is STRONG, but quite the palette cleanser. The red wine and blood orange were much more yummy to end our meal. $9 for three scoops seemed a bit overpriced for what it was. Overall, everything seemed a bit overpriced for the portions and quality... but I would definitely come back to try their Koji-aged Bone-on New York. This was a beautiful restaurant to try for a special occasion. For my boyfriend and I's anniversary, they gave us a complimentary tiramisu! Very thoughtful and delicious. They also ended our meal with a strawberry kiwi probiotic shot. Cute freebies, but the candy bar was the most strange to me. Cheap Halloween candies mixed in with a couple Italian candies. Wouldn't expect to see Dum-dums at such a classy place!

Excellent service and pretty good food. They really start your experience at the door as we were greeted with a tasty bone broth. Appetizers were delicious. The steak tartare was unique in presentation and had great flavor. We loveeedd the crab dip, I would go back just for that. The wagyu steak was on par with what we have had at other steak houses. My salmon steak was just okay, and the desserts were a miss for us. I called ahead and was told the corkage fee was $50, but it’s actually $50 PER bottle. Most restaurants waive the fee after the first bottle but they charged us for each bottle we opened. Otherwise, it was a lovely anniversary dinner.

The food is great, with well-prepared steaks and a nice selection of cocktails. Service is solid, and the atmosphere suits both parties and family dinners. It may not be ideal for those seeking a quiet and private setting.

It's quite tough to give a 4.6 star steakhouse a 3 stars. Something must've gone wrong and it did. And I'm truly hoping that it was an off night for BE.STEAK.A. However, based on my experience, even 3 stars is generous. Now I want to declare upfront - we went there as a large group. But this does not mean that the quality of the food can be degraded, especially in a steak restaurant. The food overall was on the bland side. No character. No attitude. No perspective. Just fresh ingredients put together with minimal effort. We tasted a lot but really nothing was memorable. I saw myself continuously chewing through the parmeasan crisps that came with the bread basket because that was the only thing that had some hint of flavor. The steak was tender. But again, not punch. No statement. Just "cooked meat". The Nebbiolo we ordered was quite good so that saved every dish but really, the wine shouldn't be doing the dive. The difficult to forgive part was the delay in the food. It took almost a good 45 mins before the main dish came out after we were done with appetizers. I'm not sure what was causing the delay but it really took a long time. No apologies. Nothing. And again, when the food arrived, it was lukewarm so clearly something was happening behind. And I understand if things happen. At least the management should recognize it. Quite frankly, I don't remember much from dinner, just recounting how unmemorable the entire venue was. Won't be returning.

Great food and service. We loved the scallops, ravioli, rock shrimp gratin, and of course the rib eye. Although, I am not 100% sold on the coffee based sauce. In our previous visits, we loved their prime rib as well. I just don't understand why they don't just raise the price by 3% instead of making a footnote on the menu saying 3% will be added to your check which you can apparently ask to remove. This just feels very disgusting and anti-consumer.

The food quality is bad. It's so not worth it anymore. The waiter recommended sticky whatever putting was bad. The SERVICE went down hills drastically. I remember the old days when they just opened. The waiters would constantly change the plates, silverware and clean the tables throughout the meal. Tonight for Christmas Eve dinner, they didn't change plates once, didn't clean the table. The waitress actually was laying the dessert plates and spoons around the couple of spots we dropped some thing and leaving some juice. That was really cringe and left very bad feeling for us about the dinner experience. We also waited for more than 30min for that dessert that's nothing special and didn't even taste good..

Went for the brunch offering. It is all you can eat. Cannot recommend it. At 135$ a head before tip and tax you’d expect something really spectacular, right? You walk in the restaurant and Cool! You get to step into the kitchen and they have many items laid out for you. Unfortunately most of the dishes were just OK or worse: the spicy meatball handed out on a little plate was cold and under seasoned, the snow crab legs were a bit fishy smelling - reminiscent of a Chinese buffet. There was an omelet station which I tried: pretty much on par with Holiday Inn breakfast omelet station. “It’s an omelet, what did you expect?” Fair, well ok then don’t offer it at your luxury brunch buffet 🙂 The best thing was the prime rib, but they slice it suuuper thin and when I asked for another slice I was told to get back in line (there were only 2 other people mind you). All of that topped with a standard cafe Latte costs 9$. It feels to me the “luxury” has gone to somebody’s head.

Definitely overpriced. So many better steakhouses to choose from. Steak was tough to saw through, not buttery. It was tough to pick side dishes but the waiter HIGHLY recommended the pork fried rice, which I thought was an odd accompaniment to steal dishes with French sauces. I was right. Flavor coupling was just too odd. Even worse, the fried rice was amazingly greasy! If I tipped over the dish I'm sure I could've gotten several tablespoons of oil spilling out. Desserts were ok. The flan is large enough for two, and sweet enough that you'll want to see your dentist the next day to check for cavities.

Review Version (clear, factual, firm tone): We chose this restaurant to celebrate my husband’s birthday and spent around $500 for dinner. Unfortunately, the service experience was extremely disappointing. Before arriving, we called to confirm that we could store an ice cream cake we had purchased elsewhere, since it would melt if left in the car. The restaurant confirmed this was fine and also told us they would provide a birthday dessert. When we arrived, we informed the host again that we would not be eating our cake at the restaurant — we only needed it stored. At the end of the meal, our server brought out the cake we specifically said we were not eating, inserted candles into it, placed it on the table, and walked away. No one stayed to help take photos. We had to take selfies ourselves because we couldn’t find any staff. Shortly after, she returned with the check. When I asked why we did not receive the standard birthday dessert that other tables were given, she said she assumed that since we brought a cake, we did not want one. That was never communicated, and it directly contradicted what we were told in advance. She then brought out a tiramisu and said the kitchen had made an extra one and that “instead of it going to the trash,” she gave it to us. In addition, the birthday dessert that was eventually brought to our table was completely frozen solid. It was as hard as a rock and impossible to cut or eat properly. Serving a dessert in that condition, especially for a birthday celebration, further reflected a lack of attention to quality and basic standards. Ending a $500 birthday dinner with a dessert that was described as something that would otherwise be thrown away felt extremely inappropriate and unprofessional. The steak was fine — comparable to any other steakhouse — but the service lacked coordination, attentiveness, and basic hospitality. For a restaurant at this price point, we expected a much higher standard, especially for a birthday celebration. Very disappointing experience.

For approximately $150 brunch per person brunch - encountered a disrespectful bartender. Asked the bartender in French cap nicely to refill the caviar and the dude just disregarded me with an "ok" and walked to the other side of the bar without telling anybody. I observed him for a minute and he didn't even bother or tell anybody or make any attempts to serve nor care. Everyone else was nice and attentive. Was hesitant to write this review as the other bartender was nice and professional. Didn't catch the name of the rude bartender and don't want the wrong guy to be involved. It's a shame.

Came here recently for a friend's birthday last Friday night. Been here many times for celebrations. Let them know we were celebrating a birthday and our friend received a card and the waitress acknowledged by wishing her a happy birthday. I even called ahead to make sure they knew it was her birthday because she had made the reservation. However, we were disappointed when every other table around us received a special dessert and candle that were celebrating and we did not. It felt like the waitress had an attitude towards us when we didn't order a ton of food or drinks. She definitely knew it was a birthday and didn't care to celebrate with the birthday girl, she wanted us to pay the bill and get going.

UPDATE: The Next Day I was awoken by an upset stomach at 4:03 AM the morning after eating at this restaurant. I became ill from something I ate at this restaurant. I know this because I had not eaten since the early morning bowl of cereal at home. I spent the entire morning today throwing up with hours suffering on the toilet, I threw up the shower, the sink, the toilet for most of the morning. I paid $230 (with tip) for just my meal alone and this should not have happened. Below is the review I posted the night after having had my meal, before I became ill. ---------------------------------------- The experience I had here tonight was quite enjoyable. I was quite surprised that as I entered the restaurant I was offered a fabulous serving of bone marrow beef broth. I loved it and it set the tone for a nice visit. As I carried my broth to my table I was impressed with the cleanliness and atmosphere of the building. It was clean and well maintained. Check out my 8 second video of the impressive toilet in the bathrooms. There is even a light somewhere inside the toilet...unique. I enjoyed the food and was quite happy with my Ambassador Steak. It was cooked perfectly as requested. My dessert was really wonderful explosion of chocolate textures and taste. My only downside of the visit was our drink service. It took so long we had to ask a second time for or drinks, as I think they just forgot. After the misfire on the initial cocktail order my empty glass sat empty entirely too long. Once again the only way to get my drink was by asking more than once. It appeared as if filling bar drinks is a problem as if the dining room isn't connected very well to the bar? I enjoyed my visit and would gladly return despite being a pretty pricey place. (Update: No, I will never return, 5 Star changed to 1-star)

Overall, the food was quite disappointing given the price point. While the atmosphere and service were decent, the main dishes fell short. Both my steak and the $80+ pasta arrived lukewarm, and the flavors were underwhelming. I expected much better quality for the cost.

Update: Unfortunately, things got even worse after our visit. My husband spent the entire night in the bathroom with severe food poisoning. By morning he was so dehydrated that we had to call an ambulance. This is absolutely unacceptable for a place that presents itself as fine dining. Not only was the food cold, bland, and poorly prepared, but it also turned out to be unsafe. ___________________ The interior is very beautiful, and the menu was presented as if in a top fine dining restaurant. However, in reality we were met with less than average cocktails, absolutely bland in taste, and wilted raw vegetables served with a cream-cheese-like dip. The tartare had way too much onion, although overall it wasn’t bad. The steak was served cold, and the mashed potatoes were flavorless and full of lumps. We waited two hours for the main course. This is unthinkable. My hobby is restaurants — I travel all over the world and spend a significant part of my journeys exploring restaurants, from small casual spots to the very best. This restaurant is absolutely not worth the money. No guest should ever have to wait two hours for average food with a half-empty dining room. Honestly, I still don’t know where this rating comes from. Even Mexican food trucks often have the same 5-star rating, so clearly ratings don’t mean much.

Overall we had a horrible experience. The food was ok, not sure it was worth the price. The dessert was too sweet. But the worst part of our experience was when our server kept throwing the utensils at us, instead of placing them or setting them on the table. Yes yes physically tossing them on the table. Definitely not going back there

We visited BE.STEAK.A to celebrate my birthday with our kids. I wasn’t sure if I need to post my review on Yelp, but after I talked about my experience to my friend, she suggested that I should post it. We’ve been here before and had high expectations, but this visit didn’t go as well as we hoped. Unfortunately, at the start of the meal, the waiter accidentally spilled a bottle of cold coke over my son’s head. He was shocked and crying because you usually don’t expect this in a good restaurant. The steak was quite dry, and the duck that I ordered was not to our taste; it was raw inside? It seemed like it might be suited for a very specific palate. On a positive note, the staff tried their best to make up for the mishap. They provided my son with a new t-shirt and took our kids on a tour of the kitchen, which was a nice gesture. After the accident with coke happened, I felt that the waiter was avoiding our table. It wasn’t cleaned properly; empty plates weren’t removed. It seemed like he was staying away so nothing bad would happen again. Don’t know why this restaurant is listed in a Michelin guide.
