We have been using Jalisco's to cater food for many years including our wedding 16 years ago. Always great service and quality of food. Plenty of seating in the restaurant and timely service to grab a bite at lunch without the rush of some other places nearby.
I love this place. I end up here once a month and its always amazing. The food is great and the staff is always so nice. Its almost like they treat you like family.
Great authentic Mexican food! Great customer service and friendly owner. I really enjoyed sitting outside and enjoying my meal and beer in the beautiful weather. I highly recommend stopping by and enjoying a fantastic meal from a local restaurant that has been here awhile.
My wife loves this place. It serves traditional, honest fare (instead of glorified Taco Bell some places try to pass off). The tacos and enchiladas are the highlights for us. The lunch portions are more than adequate as well.
Henry and his family have been serving the most delicious food since I started going to them in the 70's! Followed them to each new location and its still the best Mexican restaurant i know of! They serve fresh original food and thier salsa is to die for! Have never had any dish that wasn't wonderful! Highly recommend them!
Food was awesome!! And staff is top notch and helped me decide what to order. Ended up getting three meals out of the takeout I ordered. A lot of food for a decent price.
I can't believe I'm writing a Yelp review for Jalisco Mexican Food because it feels like I'm giving away my secret treasure. But Henry and his team deserve all the praise and recognition they can get! From the moment you walk in, you're greeted with a warm smile and a cold drink. But let's talk about the real star here, the food. I always get the tacos because they're the best I've ever had, and I don't say that lightly. The meat is always cooked to perfection, and the toppings are fresh and flavorful. I've been coming here over 20 times, and not once has my food been off. How do they do it? It's like they have a secret ingredient that makes everything taste better. And don't even get me started on the service. Henry runs the place like a well-oiled machine, and he always knows my order before I even say anything. We have a telepathic connection, or maybe he's just that good. Either way, I always leave Jalisco Mexican Food feeling happy, complete, and like I just had a meal at my grandma's house. So if you're looking for fantastic food, consistently good quality, and service that will make you feel like family, look no further than Jalisco Mexican Food. And if you see me there, say hi! I'll be the one with the tacos and the cold Fanta.
Super friendly service and fantastic food. They don't skimp on the salsa with a to go order either which is always a plus. Looking forward to going back for another super burrito!
One of the most amazing restaurant, with the most humble owners, and more like family. Great fast service and homemade food made fresh everyday. You will love it and will definitely return again 😊👍 help support this lovely family owned business and you will automatically become Family too... Thank You for all the great food and staying open 7 days a week . Hrs 10am - 8pm GOD Bless You Always 🙏
Amazing since the day my grandmother brought me here when I was a little girl! (+15 years!) Thank you Henry and the amazing ladies! Food is the best! Horchata melts your taste buds! Outstanding customer service. I always run into regulars here! Everything here is full of flavor and homemade! I will continue to come here and bring people. Thank you for everything! Stay safe! I recommend everything and anything on the menu!
Love this place! I grew up on this food and it's the standard to which I compare all other Mexican restaurants. I live out of town now but still swing by when I come back. Everything on the menu is fantastic, you can't go wrong. The margaritas are strong and you can get the food to go.
Love this family and the food is our fave. Has been for 50 years from when they were on W San Carlos Food is so good and good prices
Nice and convenient Jalisco style Mexican place. The staff is friendly and attentive. We ordered the pork with Chile Verde dinner plate and the carne asada dinner plate. Both came with generous portions of beans and rice and tortillas on the side. Good food and more than we could eat! I'd definitely come back again
Wow! I got a crunchy carna asada taco. Meat was super tender & perfectly seasoned & it was huge. I also got the cheese enchiladas with rice & beans. Again it was just the way I like them & super flavorful. The sauce had to have been an old family recipe. What a great value & I I'll be back again & again!
The Chile rellano was actually made fresh on the spot and you could tell !!!!!! Amazing food !!! Small quaint place. Very friendly and welcoming !!! Try it.
Absolutely delicious food! We got the carne asada burrito and beef enchiladas. I wish I had read the beef was ground not shredded, however my only issue with it was texture and NOT the flavor! Definitely a me issue, but the food was absolutely killer, despite my mistake between meat choices
Huge chicken enchiladas. I get them a la carte, and make 2-3 meals out of them! Authentic, delicious, comfort food! Great iced tea too! Family run, very quick service, very neighborhood type ambiance, warmth and kindness.
The food is amazing, authentic homemade Mexican cooking! Everything is made from scratch. The owner Henry took it over from his mom and dad. All recipes are from family tradition. I remember Henry when he was a teenager working with his dad. This tradition continues with his kids, nephews and nieces. His wife and sister roll the homemade tortillas! Henry still remembers my dads order!
I have been going to Jaliscos for years and it just stays excellent - the food, the small town restaurant environment and the people. Always good and fast - it is an excellent gem that Campbell needs to keep, especially with all the new businesses sprouting up. Thanks for serving great food at great prices. It is a total experience and unique. David
If you're looking to experience the warmth of a family meal, then this is the place to be. Henry and his family make you feel like you're a part of their own. The food is nothing short of the best home-cooked meal, and I absolutely love their breakfast, lunch, and dinner options. The drinks are great! (The margarita and Chavela are a few of my favorites) I have no intention of ever finding another go-to Mexican food spot. This place is truly special, and I'll continue making it my top choice.
Delicious! I could only eat a few bites due to my sore throat, but I hope tomorrow I can chow down! Jalisco's hasn't changed a bit! If you want delicious old school Mexican food that's fresh, not greasy, with quality ingredients this is your place! Chile Relleno-Cheese Enchiladas with onions. Yum! If you're a meat-eater, get their crispy tacos. ❤️❤️❤️ Don't expect fancy decor, this place is old school. Booths with torn seats, old metal chairs, but it's not the ambience you're coming here for, it's the food. 🥰🥰🥰
I have been coming to Jalisco’s for 39 years. Started coming with my wife’s family when it was on Stevens Creek Blvd. The family recipes are exactly as they have been through two generations. Whenever we come to California, we stop in for a meal. 650 miles from home and still me favorite Mexican restaurant!
The food here is ALWAYS AMAZING! I've been eating here for over 30 years and it's still just as good as the first time I tasted it. I highly recommend the pork chimichanga, beef taco salad, chicken tacos and chill Verde plate
one of my fav places, great food & henry is the absolute nicest person i know. i always come when i’m in town
Not only the best beef enchilada but the only place I would eat! Eaten here over 20 years. Straight forward authenticity no mumble-jumble.
Great food and large portions. A little more than I'm used to spending at a taqueria but better quality.

Jaliscos has been our family tradition for birthdays and cravings from day one! We love this authentic, delicious restaurant!

Great food and the service was amazing.
We have been going to Jalisco since their family has open their small restaurant on San Carlos Ave in San Jose. We love the food and their service is great. Henry's son's are now involved in the business. We know the business will continue with the boys involved. The food is great and my favorite is their Chile Verde. I also love their Beef Flautas. Service is also great. We went back for dinner and had their Beef Flautas. Loved it, it was so good and crispy. I love their rice, it's moist and flavorful too.
Fast and casual with self-serve chips and salsa bar - perfect!
Jalisco is a family owned and operated Mexican restaurant and is one of my favorites in the area. Everything seems homemade, including the chips and salsa, and their chile verde is unmatched. They also have a bar with a decent selection of adult beverages. I recently took a small group of coworkers, everyone ordering something different and everyone loved it.
First and foremost, this place makes me soooooo nostalgic. The food is great, same staff who are friendly. Felt so good going back. Definitely a little on the $$ side but so worth it every so often

Very nice, established Mexican food. Super friendly and helpful staff, owner seems to always be there along with regular clientele. It has endured for years, originally moving from East San Jose to Campbell many years ago. You can't go wrong. Small place but perfect!
My experiences have always been positive going to Jaliscos with great food and a nice environment. The owner is always there greeting me with a big smile creating a fun environment. Love the food and the spices they use!
Decent spot for some Mexican food.... Servings are huge.... Come with a appetite... I ordered 2 item plate.. a cheese enchilada and a beef taco... I'm not a fan of the salad that comes with it.... Next time I'll make sure to tell them to leave it out... The food was good and very hot... So let it cool off before you drive in.

I'm hooked on the Chilli Colorado burrito. It's the only thing I've ordered in the few times I've picked up a burrito to go. The stew is perfectly seasoned and so tender. The chips and salsa are house made and complements the flavors in the simple but delicious burrito.
Great little restaurant that has been here for 20 years. Decor is ok, but you don't come here for atmosphere. Jalisco is all about the food and the service. Try this place, it won't disappoint.

Eh. I’ve had much better in the area. Tacos were not very flavorful and made with ground beef, not shredded. They break and fall apart in your hands and the bottom falls out almost immediately. So make sure you eat them over a plate… margaritas tasted too sweet and as though they were made with a premix. Overall, it wasn’t anything to make me ever want to go back. There are much better options in the area.
Wonderful service, very friendly. You can easily feed two people for $20. However, the quality of the food is really not worth it. Unless you are coming in for a couple of beers. I am not sure what happened to this place but they used to be really good. It's sad when an old school, well known place goes down hill.
The place was alright. Not sure if I'd recommend it though. As my burrito was lukewarm when I received it. The cheese wasn't even fully melted inside. The enchiladas plate is probably the best dish they have there because the plate is scorching when it arrives.
3 stars for very Nice customer service. Ok quesadilla plate... so much cheese in what seemed to be a homemade tortilla. The Taco salad was ok but would have been better with beans in it. For almost 16 bucks, it should have had beans in it! Chile Verde for almost $19 was overpriced and the meat did not taste good at all. It was big chucks of meat that tasted "gamey". Got a different plate of what should have been a chicken enchilada but it tasted more like chicken and mole. All together the 3 of us felt it was a little overpriced for $60+ dollars and no refund for the bad chile verde. Got a lesser priced plate in return. The refried beans were yum. The rice on our plates was mushy and overcooked. We did not eat too much of it. This restaurant was rated like a 4+ star on yelp and google... it was our first time and we didn't feel that rating ...wanted to give only 2 stars for the food (sadly the pictures look better than the food actually was)...but like I said, the cashier man and the young lady at the bar gave nice service to us.

Friendly, family service. Homestyle Mexican. The salsas weren't very tasty but the chips are good. Overall I wasn't impressed, it's a neighborhood place, kind of ran down and the food is average to below average.
This place has been really good in the past but as of recently the quality and service has gone down. Found a super long hair in my burrito today and it was so gross. It’s usually a miss now a days. Also the chips are so stale

Nice people, good service, bad food. Chips and salsa weren’t good, chicken burrito wasn’t good.

The most basic regular burrito is not even wrapped properly, an open tortilla that fits in your palm. More like a soft taco for $15. The younger guy is always a grump too. I’ll give up coming back. Most customers seem to be geriatric age and have probably lost taste. Bummer amigo…
Zero flavor. Zero sauce in the taco. And i orders 2 tacos and got a giant pile of meat inside a burrito tortilla. Not my fav spot
Yerania was very rude when I was placing my order. She acted as she couldn’t hear me and asked me very rudely to repeat myself over and over. Darlyne was really kind and helped me when recommending good dishes to try. Wouldn’t come back if it was just the experience I had with Yerania but because of Darlyne I’ll be back
Just went in and asked for a regular burrito. They asked if i wanted beans, rice, and cheese..... Apparently, a default burrito is meat and tortilla... Whatever move on. I got my burrtio, opened, and the tortilla was still raw. Fell apart all over the place, and now i understand why I was given a fork. It tasted like the raw tortillas you get from costco....for a premium flavor....but it was sold to me raw. Just use regular tortillas! It was not busy...no need to rush the order....i live 2 blocks away and I'll just drive over to Camden and Bascom for the taco truck thay actually carries pastor, AND cooks the tortilla before giving it to you. Not to mention the cheese was half melted.... Had i not only had this burrito as my only meal, and hiding from my wife to eat, I would have pictures of the monstrosity. Second time here and the first time the owner touched my hand inappropriately 2 years ago. I'm never coming back. It's done. Save yourselves.
EXTREMELY DISSATISFIED!!! My family and culture come from Jalisco and this place's food and service is far from authenticity! The service was horrible! The man with the pony tail was rude, uninformative and lacks customer service and satisfaction! When I asked for extra lemons he resisted to give me any! The food looks messy, rushed, and packaged inconvenient to eat!! NEVER COMING AGAIN!

I ordered a Carne Asada taco and there was a lot of meat so that was great, but I can only give it one star because the meat itself was gross. The texture was off. The flavor was just black pepper. I’ve never had Carne Asada like that. It was more like shredded beef texture with little to no flavor at all.
