Opinions de Manresa Bread Campbell
It’s safe to say that I have a mild obsession with baked goods and pastries since my grandmother was a baker, herself. If you are anywhere near Campbell, Los Altos or Los Gatos, you definitely have to check these guys out! I particularly love the staff at the Campbell location. Very personable and make you feel like you are the only person there! And that’s saying a lot when they have so many customers! The cookies are great, the coffee cake was enjoyable with a little bit of pleasant grittiness, and oh my goodness the chocolate croissants! If you like venturing into healthy but still satisfying options, the chocolate zucchini muffin might be up your alley! I personally enjoyed it, even with its somewhat crumbly consistency.
Been here a few times now. Seriously great food, same great pastries, coffee and bread from the other locations. The n'duja sausage/ricotta/honey toast (pictured) was filling, unique, and very good. My favorite item is the grain bowl, featuring a fried egg on top and tiny little popcorns. Excited to see where this goes in the future, including a soon-to-be weekend brunch menu!
Wonderful place. Always wanted to try this Michelin three star restaurant’s pastry store. The one in Los Gatos closes early and doesn’t offer food. This location offers great bites, coffee and pastries. Will be back here soon to try more sandwiches and branch menu. The coffee here is great as well.
Stopped in for breakfast after an appointment nearby and it was delicious! The mushroom quiche was excellent and loaded with a variety of mushrooms. It was a hearty portion and filled me up. I enjoyed my cafe au lait and got a chocolate croissant to go. It looks flaky and amazing and I can't wait to eat it later!
Wonderful bread and toasts. All their weekend brunch dishes are fresh and healthy. You don't feel stuffed at the end of it. Can be crowded and cramped on a weekend morning especially with the farmer's market outside but its definitely worth it. Verve coffee compliments the food really well!
I was a bit not sure about the flavor of avocado toast since they put a looot of herbs but surprisingly the flavor comes together really well! Matcha latte was good too, my husband really liked the bacon egg sandwich (basic but executed really well, esp the bread and sauce). It’s Bay Area price but the quality is worth it
Serious breads and crunchy baguette. I love their Monkey Breads (sweet or savory). Make sure to try out their buttery Kouign-amann and indulgent muffins. Their sandwich - specifically the turkey sandwich - are generously served, and they have a nice selection of coffees and lattes to wash all of this down.
I had been searching for a bakery that competes in quality to European places...and found it in Manresa. Best source dough wheat bread. OMG. served by people who actually smile and attend to you! My go to for bread and pastry.
Great coffee, nice ambiance, great location. Jalapeño Monkey bread is something unique I tried and it was a great choice.
Couldn’t keep me away from my fave matcha & “bread”! Perfect matcha combo with a ham & cheese croissant! Recommend the kouign amann, GF options, as well as order-ahead for their seasonal items - haven’t found another place that does babka like true Jewish NYC bakeries like here! 🤌🍵
Got a walnut chocolate cookie, honey butter corn scone and zucchini muffin. Muffin was okay but let me tell you the cookie and scone were absolutely delicious baked to perfection. Can taste the richness! Sooo good! My toddler loved the scone!
Was here to get some breads, which I must say are always fresh and being a Sunday it was a bit crowded, so waited and had some muffins and coffee.. too good They have a vide variety of cakes and muffins. It was a nice experience
We went to this cafe during weekend and the service was above par. Wish I could give more stars for the service itself. We got their latte, avocado toast and chocolate croissant. All delicious. The sourdough bread was really really good. The croissant was flaky and way too yummy. Not to mention about the service again. Will surely visit again.
The breakfast sandwiches were delicious. The onion jam is a perfect compliment to the light airy poppy seed bun and biscuit. Don't miss the special pistachio latte with hand whipped cream.
They’re well known for their on point bread. Very close to Easter, they’ll make hot cross buns. A good place to hang out when one has time to kill. I call it the billionaire’s breakfast place. We get coffee and a bite from the downtown Los Altos location when we want a treat.
Favorites: Avocado toast, Smoked Salmon toast, and Kouign amann. It's the best cafe in neighborhood. One of the best breads and bakeries that I have tried in the south bay. The staff are friendly and professional. Recently opened a branch in Palo Alto. It is a must try. You'll love it :)
Great spot for coffee and treats. The latte was spot on!! The almond croissant was crunchy and perfectly sweet, pairing really well with the coffee. We also loved the hazelnut cake, rich and satisfying without being too heavy. Would definitely come back.

I'm in love with their avocado toast. Today's special, burrata toast, was delicious too. Best lattes in town. Try the fried smashed potatoes and a side of bacon. They do not disappoint.

I absolutely love the whole wheat sourdough here - as a dietitian I buy it regularly. All of the other food is incredible too - like the avocado toast with edible flowers! Also shout out to CJ for his amazing customer service. Makes me love my local Manresa even more and prompted me to write this review. Thank you!
The bakery was born out of a 3 Michelin restaurant. My personal favorite are the levain w/ butter, kouignamann, and monkey bread. They also have food for brunch and a coffee to go with the meal. This is a perfect Saturday morning breakfast/ brunch spot.

Everything at Manresa is always great but they lose a star for coffee and tea. Their breakfast tea selection isn't big, and that's fine, but they let it steep for an unknown amount of time behind the counter resulting in a way stronger cup than you are used too. Their drip coffee is good but it's like an 8 ounce mug that isn't even filled up.
Busy on a Saturday morning. Good for an occasional treat. Breakfast sandwich was yummy. The cookie and pastries were fine. Chocolate bread was very sweet but good. They seemed to have some kinks to work out as they just opened- they first forgot our pastries and it seemed they were a little confused as it got busier.
Enjoyable place. It was crowded so looks like a popular option in the neighborhood. I got a latte with almond milk that was delicious. I also orders the croissant sandwich which had most of the flavors of promises but not enough bacon. The coconut bowl was delicious and refreshing. When you pay your bill they have the default tip to 25% which is not cool... That's not the practice so I thought that was a little strange. I would go back there for sure for the coffee and to try the wine...
Came in for a Sunday brunch with 6 and this place seemed like it was packed but the service was great , I was able to place an order within 5 minutes and also get seating for the entire group. Food was good 👌 ,nothing to fancy . It's to the point . Everything we ordered was good . Place was clean and inviting 👍
Their wheat bread is really good! A bit pricey but worth it if you’re looking for a healthy alternative!
I ordered takeout coffee, a kouign amann and couple of bacon and egg sandwiches for me and my bf. The sandwiches and coffee were great. Love the caramelized onions. I realized that they didn’t put my kouign amann in my to-go back until I got home. I was hoping to try it, but I guess it’ll have to be next time :(
Overall pretty good. Sandwiches were tasty but heavy and little greasy (bacon egg cheese & sausage egg biscuit). Coffee came out after we finished our meals so we took them to go. Server was nice and did apologize for the wait. The atmosphere was nice. $55 for 2 drinks and sandwiches. Would come back and try pasties or avo toast.
Great spot for the mornings. Lot of space to sit and eat. Breakfast sandwich and quiche were great!
First time here, stopped in while exploring the area. Breads and pastries looked great. Tried a turkey sandwich ($16) and chia seed pudding with fresh fruit ($12) - both were a good size and flavorful. Also had a couple of coffees (Verve Roasting) and they were well made and delicious. There’s enough tables and chairs to stay and work. Unfortunately knocked a star because of a lack of attention and cleanliness in restrooms.
When around here it’s must try spot. Can die for their croissants. It tastes yum with little crisp. I’ll be coming back again for those croissants. And there are two minuses in the store one is I felt my cappuccino is not hot its just warm. The other minus is the employees are loud. But they seemed having fun at work which is good for them but... the prices are not so high. Worth it. Give it a try when around!!!

Delicious coffee and bakery items. Staff were attentive and polite. Atmosphere was 3 stars - it's a lovely Cafe but very noisy... bad acoustics!?? Conversation across our small two person table was difficult - hard to hear each other. I will go back though!

Not a large cafe, offering gourmet "semi-michelin " styled food, which means they look pretty, at high prices. The avocado toast was $12, yes, it looked appetizing, but the slice of bread was super tough, even had a hard time cutting thru. The winter citrus toast also looked delicious, but was kind of watery (juice from the fruits), hard to eat, also $12. The latte was pretty good. Not sure I appreciate the toughness of the bread and the low CP! Additionally, something wrong with the ventilation, all my clothes and hair smelled afterwards.
This place is ok. With the name, I just expected more, but it was nothing short of any other café really. We stumbled in closer to closing time (which is pretty early for a Sunday - 3pm?), so that's probably why we ended up with less fresh pastries. Both items we ordered tasted fine; scone was extra dry. The coffee was meh. My hot chocolate was bland and they ran out of syrup so they could not make my original request of peppermint hot chocolate. The person ringing us up forgot one pastry so we had to do an add-on, wasting more of our time bc it was closing soon. I would go back if it was the only café around, but overall, it was just OK.
We stopped by Manresa on a Saturday pretty close to closing time so they didn't have a lot of baked goods left (closes at 3 pm and we got there at 2:45 pm) The employee recommended the everything cream cheese danish, monkey bread, and whole wheat chocolate chip cookie. We also got a monkey bread latte. Overall, we were really underwhelmed with everything we got. The danish, monkey bread, and cookie, and latte were just fine. There wasn't anything particularly special about them. I don't know if we came too close to closing but we tried what was recommended. I probably wouldn't go out of my way to try Manresa again, but I have read their kougin amann is supposed to be good. So that may be worth trying if you are in the area. There isn't a dedicated parking lot here so you have to search for street parking too. There is plenty of indoor seating but there was no outdoor seating when we went (may have been due to the rainy weather).

The reason I’m giving them 1 star is because despite the great quality breads, they are taking advantage of their customers. No other cafe ever charged me to substitute whole milk with Almond milk. I was charged $1.50 for this. A retail value butter for $0.85, they charged me $2.00. On top of all these, they have a 4% surcharge which is not legal nor should it be mandatory by law. It’s all about the principle and they are not respecting their customers by up pricing everything. Very disappointing and too bad.
