Opinions de Khanh's Restaurant Campbell
This place has an amazingly diverse wide-ranging menu. So my review is just for the superb Saigon Crepe which is one of the two specialties listed on their menu. It showed tremendous preparation skills with high quality ingredients, and all SO fresh and delicious. The ambience, a former Denny's but upgraded, is nice and the service super attentive and timely.
We went to this restaurant after wanting to go last time but couldn’t due to it being closed. We ordered wonton soup and rolls which was cool to be able to wrap it ourselves. Wonton soup was very good and filling. Highly recommend the place!
What a nice gem in San Jose!! The dining room is nice, the food is nicer, the servers are the nicest. I had Bun (cold rice noodles without soup) with beef, chicken and egg rolls, which was customized as I wanted. It was delicious. The beef was a ride bit better than chicken for me. Golden crepe was not disappointing. Mung bean flour that's pan fried stuffed with jicama slices and bean sprouts along with a few large shrimps and some crushed meatballs/sausages. Cut it into manageable slices and wrap a slice in the lettuce before dipping it into the fish sauce. The desserts were heavenly. Not too sweet and full of flavor. The baker should be very proud. Our server was An, who happens to be the owners' son. Very helpful!
We have been coming here for years and we're sad to see the old place close. Imagine our joy when we found the new address pop up on Google Maps as a suggestion. As many other restaurants portions become smaller, Khanh has maintained quality and are very generous with their sizes. They were out of the sugarcane shrimp but will definitely be back and I'll add a photo then
Delicious Vietnamese food. We had the chicken salad, mixed vegetables egg noodles, chicken pho, and pork and seafood sandwich. They were all delicious. The service is very attentive, the food is served fast. The restaurant decor is clean and modern (the kitchen looked extremely clean!).
New location, beautiful landscaping. This place is the the tops! Previously written: Spic and span clean, rather aged with duck tape repairs on cushions, but impeccable, and reliable food quality/freshness. Husband-wife owners truly care about their food and service. After shopping nearby at Valley Fair Mall, or Santana Row, have lunch or dinner here, be aware it's closed between 2:00-5:00. Rare to find a place that offers roll your own rice paper to dip in water and fill with such choices as; grilled shrimp, or onions rolled in beef, rice noodles, sauteed green onions, chopped peanuts. Fried egg rolls have an essence of pate flavor. Special entrees for weekends. Pho is a must-have. Homemade flan when they have it and plenty of outsourced desserts. Landscaped garden as you enter, cloth napkin to dab your mouth.
The atmosphere is plain but clean (as are the restrooms). The staff are efficient and friendly, and our food was served in less than 10 minutes. My water was refilled promptly and frequently, and the spicy chicken curry was excellent! There was a small hiccup with the payment but it was resolved to my satisfaction quickly. I would absolutely recommend Khanh's!
My family has been coming to Khanh’s for over 30 years… it’s our favorite local Vietnamese restaurant. It’s family owned for multiple generations, and everyone is so friendly. We used to go to their old location and now go to their Hamilton location ~ it’s still just as good! We love the BBQ pork slices, chicken curry, crispy egg rolls, fresh spring rolls, Khanh’s house noodles, hot pot (shrimp instead of catfish) with noodles, man everything is always so delicious.
Wonderful service, it's a pleasure when the family of the restaurant take real good care of you and service if real good. It was a little of everything we ordered and they brought out the hot sauces and the platters were all delicious. Keep up the good work.
First time trying this place and to be honest, I was a little hesitant because I've tried many locations before and they were a bust or nothing to write home about. This place blows my other favorite location out of the water! Hands down the best chicken Pho, Seafood Pho, and broth I've had in the bay area. I will be returning, and recommending Khanh's restaurant.
We love this place! Food is fantastic! We love the vermicelli plate where we roll our own vermicelli rolls bringing the dining experience up a notch... Laughing at each other's roll wrapping. It is fun! We have brought a few friends here to experience it and they loved it. Owners are very hands on and all staff are very attentive. Thankfully we came in again before they moved location...they are moving to Hamilton Ave in a month or so (where the old Coco's was). Not too far from where they are currently.
The best Vietnamese food I have ever had. Very nice décor, clean and friendly staff a must visit if your reading this. Food was quick to come out and the soup was a very good size.

I've been eating here for over 30 years since they were at the old Town and Country( now Santana Row ) and then across the street on Winchester and now here. Food and desserts are always great
Khanh's Garden has been a stable Vietnam restaurant for over 40 years. Food quality and taste have been very consistent. I've been going there for about 40 years.
I don't know why I haven't rated Khan's before, as it's always been 5 stars all around. I've been going to Khan's since they were at the Winchester location, and we continue to visit regularly now that they have moved to Cambell. Mary and her family have always been exceptionally welcoming, and have our names and favorite dishes memorized every time we visit. They have a beautifully decorated solariam which offers a very calming atmosphere, not to mention the sweet aromas coming from the kitchen. The Bahn Hoi Chao Tom is personal favorite and such a unique dish. The lemon grass chicken is exploding with flavors, an the pho is phenomenal (pun intended). If you haven't had a chance to visit Khan's, do yourself a favor, and treat yourself.

We had lunch at this nice Vietnamese restaurant on Sunday. It looked like the kind of place you go for real Vietnamese food, and it was almost there . We hoped for something amazing, but the food was just good - simple and tasty. Sometimes that's enough, right? We really liked the appetizer mix, especially the steamed meatloaf. The wonton soup was great too - fresh, warm, and full of dumplings. The banh mi sandwich was alright; the chicken was steamed, not grilled, so it was a bit soft, but still okay. What made our visit special was the service - everyone was super nice and quick. It was a good place to eat, with a friendly vibe.
Came here for the beef pho, it was not bad. Also ordered a beef vermicelli, wish there were not vegetables in it, not just a bit of cabbage at the bottom. Very big interior dining area, looks fancier than expected inside, bit dated.
Very good but not great. The place is clean and efficiently ran, well oiled. The flavors are solid but they are just shy of hitting the right profile for amazing Pho. If you know Pho, then you know the broth makes or breaks the dish. Recommended.

Vietnamese sandwich was good but not the cracking pot.. It tasted slightly raw but again I know it's very healthy. Just that it didn't suit an Indian tongue. Fried rolls with peanut dip were good but not the fresh rolls which had a thick tasteless wrap. White Zin wine was good as usual :-) You can try out if you like to experiment different cuisines.

I enjoyed the food for my first time last weekend, but this young girl with blonde hair passed by me 3 times when I wanted to ask. She looked away bad customer service old gentleman who took my order was very kind.
