Some of the best musubi I've had for how cheap the price is, will always recommend this place to others.

Sometimes you just need the taste of Hawaii. I love that they have some off-menu items such as kimchee - that really goes well with spam musabi or moco-loco.

All I can say is beef short ribs. If you don't know now you know.

Plenty of Aloha spirit along with excellent value for Hawaiian fast food. Big portions - I always have enough leftover for a second meal. Also, the option for steamed vegetables (at no extra cost) and available brown rice allows for big taste with fewer calories is greatly appreciated.

By far the best short rib kalbi and macaroni salad in the area! The food here is always a solid choice when my fiancé and I are trying trying figure out a good place to eat. You can never we go wrong with their katsu mini (I can never finish a plate combo) or a spam musubi. My fiancé gets their "low carb plate" or the "seafood combo" and has extra leftovers. One random recommendation is definitely their French fries. For some reason they have the crinkle fries and they are the best crinkle fries I have found locally.

A great little fast food place for a quick bite to eat. Whenever I go, I usually end up with a Kalua pork combo plate (to share) and a few spam musubis. Occasionally I will get a spam saimin, which is quite tasty as well, but I have to be in the mood. I always get spam though, because this is one of the few restaurants that I can get a meal cooked with spam. So good! So many people diss spam, but it is delicious.

Try their spam musubi (only $2.99) and garlic shrimp! Affordable and quality food. They take doordash or phone order. You get cheaper price than doordash by calling them.

I always come here for the loco moco with hamburger patties... it's very casual and the folks are very hospitable. My wife likes butter on her white rice and they were able to accommodate even though it was an usual request.

The food here is always awesome. Tons of choices. The side dish of macaroni salad everyone loves. It is not your usual cold and sweet salad. Instead it is warm and creamy. If you want healthy options they have brown rice as a substitute for white rice and steamed vegetables in place of the macaroni salad. Th Vega tables are always fresh. They must get them daily. Crystal, one of the owners is always very pleasant. You can order by phone it is usually ready for pickup within ten about ten minutes.

The regular chicken katsu combo was really good. The spam musubi could use thicker slices of spam though.

The chicken teriyaki is so good! Just enough Shoyu to give it the saltiness and the fresh ginger to make it pop! Their mac salad has just the right amount of mayo to round it out to give you that Hawaii love. The portion for a mini is very filling. Plus, who doesn't love catching up on the news reading the Honolulu paper? A great neiborhood spot and one of the best L&L in the south bay.

Always love this place. I have been going to this place and they are very consistent, with the portion and the flavor. Love the bbq mix and the seafood mix. Loco moco is good too and the musubi's.

The food here is surprisingly good, better than what I expected. I was impressed by the BBQ combo which is a fully loaded meal. A little heavy on the starches, however. Worth a visit.

Solidly 4 stars. Food here is always good, although a bit heavy and very filling, which is typical of Hawaiian food. The plus here is that the quality of the food is good, nothing here is overly salty or off-putting to the palate. I usually go with the BBQ Chicken, Loco Moco, or the Fried Fish Fillet. The fish they use is swai, which is a mild-flavored white fish. Their ahi poke is hit or miss.

My son asked to go here, I have passed by this place for years. They serve a lot of food but it also isn't cheap but the food is good. A pretty good fast food Hawaiian flavored place.

On the days when I'm starving and craving something but don't know what, I'm thankful for L&L as it becomes my go-to spot where I know I won't be disappointed. I've always received friendly service here from the staff they are always happy to accommodate special requests. The menu is straightforward and the food is consistent every time. Inside, the store is pretty clean and there's always plenty of seating. The only negative feedback I would give is that the parking lot can look filthy at times as there tends to be trash littered all over the ground. It is next to a bus stop where they get a lot of foot traffic, however, it ultimately comes down to the management to ensure the property is maintained and presentable.

To just move it along, I get no apology from this girl and gives me what the gentleman gave back and remade it with vegetables on the side. I’m very disappointed cause what if he already touched that opened it and what not, Covid is again here and this is what they do. I don’t think I’ll recommend this place again to any of my staff and anyone I know. Disappointed 10/10

I got tiny sharp bone from the galbi stucked punctured my gum.. luckily I was able to pull it out myself.. was scared I must go to the emergency dentist and twas on my Birthday. Chicken was ok but beef especially the galbi are hard meat I couldn’t eat/ chew them. Rice is too sticky. Not my kind of food. Too sweet. The employees are nice though

First, the good. The chicken katsu bowl and BBQ chicken was good and well worth the price. The staff was friendly and helpful. It was our first time at a Hawaiian BBQ place, and the staff helped us figure out what we wanted to try. Now the not so great. The musubi (we tried chicken and spam) had too much seaweed and too much rice. It felt like a seaweed burrito. The amount of rice to the size of the protein was such that all you tasted was the rice. The protein was well flavored, I just wanted less rice so I could taste the protein. Finally, I didn't care for the pork. It had very little flavor to it. The facilities could also use a deep cleaning. The table we first sat at was sticky and the place just doesn't feel clean. All in all, it's not a bad place. Some of the food is good, especially for the price. I would be willing to go back for their Hawaiian bowls.

Has declined a lot in food as well as personality. Cashiers are a little cold and robotic. There's no aloha spirit from L&L.

Cold and service.was.terrible.. the.cashier.was.unprofessional . She left the door.open and let the cold air hit all the customers who were eating in the restaurant eating.

Updating my review. Just picked up some BBQ chicken and Chicken Katsu. The BBQ was good as always but not the Chicken Katsu for the first time. It was cut in too thin of slices and some of the crispy batter was so hard, you couldn't chew it. This is my favorite dish here so of course I'm disappointed about it 😢

I only give it two stars because the food is good. The staff is cold and uninviting. I have been to other locations and loved every minute of my experience. this one though I will not be returning to despite being directly across the street. that's a shame to because they could have made a loyal customer. isn't that the aim? to bring back customers over and over? i would recommend the staff be retrained in customer service. it's not about being a robot, it's about making a customer feel comfortable and wanted in a warm welcoming environment.

First of all the Santa Clara Health Dept would be interested in doing an inspection here. Gross. The BBQ short ribs were all bones, no meat. The BBQ beef was over cooked and looked and tasted like beef jerky. The BBQ chicken was so over done not even my cat would not eat it. Threw the entire $15.25.00 dinner in the garbage. Do not go here. Cashier would not change gloves after touching cash. She then would touch other people's food. Might catch something here. When asked to change or wash hands employees look at you and say So? Place is very unsanitary!! Save yourself and go somewhere else.

Bad service, I called to place my takeout order when I got home and opened my food, they only put rice with 5/6 shrimp, they also put the other food very badly, I called to let them know and the woman who answered very rudely said no It was my fault that I couldn't change my order or return my money. For 4 orders I paid more than $60 dollars. I do not recommend this place fatal service.

Went on 2pm late lunch on sat. No customers. Needed help ordering because I haven't been there for a while. Katherine blurred a question out. Took the order and next thing I know I was paying. She never guides me through their menu. I wanted to order more but she rushed my order. I was even trying to show her on my phone. No care whatsoever. I didn't even get a chance to order a drink. Then I get the audacity to leave a tip. What a slap in the face. Here's my tip : don't hire anyone that doesn't want to work in fast food and doesnt know what customer service is. It's unpleasant, and the customer is left associating the food with the experience. This is the reason business fail. Greet the customer, have picture menus and the main one: don't rush us. Ask what else would you like? A little goes a long way. Wish you the best L&L but I won't be coming back.

Other locations have containers that keep food separated from each other not here they throw it all together in one big pile. Other locations serve gravy on the side, instead of covering all my food like they did here. Would've specified to out on side except this is the only location that does it this way.
