JC’s Famous BBQ

JC's has been my go-to BBQ spot for over 25 years. I LOVE LOVE LOVE their beef ribs! The meat is always falling off the bone. And they're big! The hot links are addictive, the chicken is perfect and when I used to work close by, on my lunch break I would frequently get their pulled pork. I'm obsessed with the garden salad & dressing!! Always so consistently fresh and crisp! Would recommend 10 out of 10!

Husband ordered and I didn't try but he really like them! Sauce makes the dish for sure! Sides aren't bad, a ton of meat on the ribs, great portions to cost ratio!

Taste was good. But Catraly is little bit poor.

There was one person who took our order, served the food, and was the cashier. The food was good. Even the salad that looked super simple was great. The beans were perfection! Overall good food. I also liked that it wasn't to much food or to little. Awesome little hole in the wall place.

I have been eating there now through 3 owners...beginning with Lucia who created the sauce and total menu followed by JC and now the new owner since the late 70's. There have been some minor changes but the ribs and sauce have remained unchanged. Delicious!!!

I keep driving by this place and was curious. It opens at 11. It's a smaller place and their menu is fairly limited. They mainly serve rib meat and they grill it right by the register. I got the 2 beef and 3 pork beef combo dinner thinking I would get brisket. It was 2 beef rib. So total I got 5 ribs for dinner. It included green salad, garlic bread, and a choice of beans and potato salad. I opted in for potato salad. The potato salad was great. The rib are okay. It was lathered by bbq sauce and theyre not as tender as if they put it in a smoker.

It is old style barbecue. I do not hate it but not the best one. Price value was good. Especially like lunch special is about 10$. But Meat was too tough to chew and no air conditioning in this hot weather!!!!!!!

Tried this place on a whim and it's not bad but not that good either. Its mid as they come, would not be my first choice to go to but it's alright. Value wise, it's ok. A bit cheaper then most bbq places but the price fits the value.

The meats are alright, but I'm not particularly partial to the flavor of the BBQ sauce, has a faint kinda tabasco-ey hint to it.

We recently went to JC's to get my daughters First Birthday Ribs. We looked up the prices on JC's website, and saw that a Beef Family Bucket meal was 52.87 and we were like "Wow! What a great deal!" So we drove to Saratoga CA to get it. When my husband got back to the car we saw that they charged us 79.99. Upon calling the gentleman that charged us says "Well I've been here for 25 years, I have no idea what the website says". We had just lost our dog so we didn't have extra money due to vet bills, the money we used for her birthday dinner was borrowed. We were expecting to be able to buy a cake and some other things after leaving JC's and instead we went home and ate our 87. Dollar dinner. I debated leaving this review because we love JC's. It's been a staple in our family for 25 YEARS+. Transparency on prices would be VERY nice. We would have waited to get it til we had the extra money. Update your website prices. Please. And don't be so nonchalant when customers call to ask why it's so much more expensive. If we could do her first birthday over again. We would. And the potato salad wasn't even filled all the way.

Costumer service was good but concerns came from the food quality. I ordered some ribs and they were dry and tasted like they had been reheated. My husband ordered a hot link and flavor was missing.
