Opinions de Marufuku Ramen Campbell
We visited Murufuku Ramen and had a great experience from start to finish. We ordered the Paitan Chicken Ramen and the Hakata Tonkotsu DX Ramen, and both bowls were absolutely delicious. The broths were rich, comforting, and full of depth—exactly what you want in a good ramen. I also appreciated that they let you adjust the spice level, which made it easy to tailor each bowl to our preferences. The portions were generous, so you definitely leave feeling satisfied. Service was quick and efficient, and our food came out faster than expected, even though the restaurant was busy. Overall, Murufuku Ramen delivered on flavor, quality, and experience. We’ll definitely be coming back.
Arrived around 1:50 pm on Saturday and was able to get a table for two with just 5 min wait. Service was nice. They gave a coloring paper with crayons for my kid which was really nice to keep her engaged while food is coming. Food was surprisingly good! We ordered Hakata ramen, Tantanmen and Gyoza. Hakata ramen had very nice and very thin noodles that went very nicely with rich tonkotsu soup. It was excellent. Spicy Tantanmen was also really good! Just mild spicy flavor with thicker noodles. Felt very similar to the tantanmen I used to eat in Japan. Gyoza was nice but I would say the way they fried it was not how I expect it from Japanese gyoza. It was still good! I am glad that I found a ramen place that I would be happy to come back to :)
I had an excellent experience. The Asian food was absolutely delicious, with every dish packed with rich flavors and great taste. You can really tell that a lot of care goes into the recipes and presentation. The drinks were made perfectly—well balanced, refreshing, and clearly crafted with attention to detail. The service was friendly, attentive, and professional without being overwhelming. From the food to the drinks to the overall atmosphere, everything came together for a great dining experience.
I went in with low expectations and was blown away. The service was QUICK I waited maybe 7-10minute before my full meal was out, appetizers dropped within 5 mins of ordering. I ordered the Shiso Yuzu Apple cocktail and it was delicious. Tasteful, tart and well prepared. The presentation of food was clean and lovely, the portions are generous. The Vegetable Ramen, delicious. I was worried as most Vegetarian ramen can be bland and lacking, but the broth was delightful and the TOFU was well seasoned. If anything I wish I wpuld have ordered extra tofu. The shoshito peppers were cooked to perfection, the dipping sauce was light and perfect. My only con: i feel the vegetarian options were limited. I would live to see their menu expand once thwy gain more traction! I walked in by myself this afternoon, was met with exceptional service and delicious food. Will definately be returning, they picked a great spot!
I did not have very high expectations of this place, but I have never been to any other Marufuku Ramen either, and I have to say that the first time I had it was actually takeout and I was blown away by the flavor of the Hakata Tonokotsu ramen. I’ve tried the spicy tantan men and I didn’t enjoy that one as much because it wasn’t as complex. The restaurant is located in the Pruneyard so it can sometimes be difficult to find parking depending on the day and time you will come. Usually, it’s pretty easy to find a parking spot for lunch and it’s a little bit more difficult for dinner time. The staff at the restaurant are super nice, but it can be a little bit difficult to hail. Someone depending on where you’re sitting I was sitting at the window and it was a little bit hard to get the Check to leave. ~~Return: yes!
Amazing food!!! There was a few of us, most had the tonkotsu, and I had the spicy tantan, both were amazing!!! Pricing was reasonable as well.
I was super excited to see them open closer to home and the experience did not disappoint. Tried the vegetable ramen, chicken paitan and tantan men ramen with the karage and chilli lime edamame. Same flavors as the SF branch! Loved it- definitely going back.
When you enter the restaurant, all the staff greet you in sync, which was kind of cool. Our server was very attentive and nice. She offered to bring me a fork when she saw I wasn’t comfortable with chopsticks. The food was great as well.
Hands down a 5 a star ramen reataurant. The ambiance, food and service. Great flavorful ramen and steamed buns. Location is nice but parking can be a little hard during peak hours. But overall, a great ramen restaurant.
Amazing bao buns! Very refreshing! I could keep eating them all day! The vegetarian ramen was also very tasty! Very fresh tofu!
The tonkotsu ramen here has a really nice balance of flavors — it’s delicious! The only thing that would make it even better, in my opinion, is having a marinated egg (ajitsuke tamago) or the option to add one. The service was excellent too!
If you’re craving authentic Japanese comfort food in the South Bay, Mura Marufuku Ramen (Campbell) is the spot you’ll want to put on repeat. • Tonkatsu Ramen: Silky, pork-rich broth with perfectly chewy noodles—one of the best bowls I’ve had in the Bay Area. • Chicken & Squid Karaage: Light, crackly batter that stays crisp to the last bite. The squid is especially tender. • Yakitori (Chicken Breast & Thigh Skewers): Juicy, smoky, and seasoned just right—simple but flawless. Service is prompt and friendly, the atmosphere balances modern chic with izakaya coziness, and the kitchen’s consistency makes return visits a no-brainer. Already planning my next bowl—highly recommend!
Great customer service, great vibes, great ramen. Get on the waitlist on yelp as you go to the restaurant as there is a long line sometimes. Overall ramen was very chewy with the right texture and soup was very rich in flavor Their presentation was very amazing and the vibes here is different from the Cupertino store as its more like a lowkey speakeasy style because of the bar They also have yakitori here which the Cupertino doesn’t have. Overall a great date night restaurant for everyone! Parking may be hard nearby but lots of parking in the area
We visited Marufuku Ramen on their soft opening day — a great new addition to Pruneyard mall! I had the spicy tan tan noodles (medium spicy), though it wasn’t spicy at all. Luckily, they provide spice condiments on the table so you can easily adjust the heat to your liking 🔥. The peach drink was super fun — served in a plastic bag with a glowing sparkle cube, giving total night market vibes 🎇
very good Japanese ramen / 🍜. they also have a number of small plates. we ordered a bunch of these to share. squid, octopus, skewers 🍡 and other things. the staff was very friendly and helpful. they took care of us, despite our chaotic orders 🙂

I have been to three different Marufuku locations, and always found something new to enjoy. Recently had a small group of lunch gathering with friends in the south Bay. Everyone loved their orders. Perfect place for groups with different tastes. This time I found my favorite skewers, Pork belly.... A MUST order for all meat lovers!!! 💯
I am a huge fan of ramen places in San Jose! Yes, I love HiroNori and Hinodeya and Ramen Nagi, but the Marufuku experience is truly special. The ramen is fantastic, the chashu pork is incredible and while I like the choice between thick and thin noodles, I do not mind with Marufuku as the noodles are great. Kudos to them - I can't wait to go back.
Ordered the Hakata ramen, donkatsu curry, takoyaki, yakikushi. The ramen had good broth, well cooked egg and good toppings for flavor. The only issue was the undercooked noodles which could've been boiled for another minute and a half. The katsu curry was good with the donkatsu being perfectly cooked and the curry being very smooth and creamy. The takoyaki was very tasty and was plated nicely. And they can't really ruin the chicken.
The ramen broth is amazing. The skirt steak skewers were cooked perfectly. The medium spice level was perfect for me.

This location is great, very comfortable, outside patio , and it's the largest marufuku. The menu is a little different, they have skewers, we ordered king mushroom, pork belly with miso, and chicken, all were delicious! Hakata thin noodles are also delicious. I especially like thin noodles ! Service is excellent!!
I want to start off by saying if you're interested in eating here make sure you take the factor of the wait time. There is a long wait because this place is super busy! Ellen was an outstanding waitress! She was extremely friendly and polite, and even offered to break down the menu since it was our first time there. Even though she was really busy, she made sure to come back and to check on us as much as possible! The ambience is nice since everything is updated and has a fancier feel to it! The food is nothing too special, in my opinion I've had Ramen places that were much better. The prices are high for the portions you get. However, due to the service, I would highly suggest giving the place a shot since she definitely deserves the utmost recognition from the business. She definitely deserves a raise for expressing so much gratitude for us coming in.
The new restaurant was so friendly, and the ramen was delicious. We also had dumplings and skewers—so glad they have skewers on the menu! The corkage fee is only $20, so I’d love to bring a bottle of wine next time.

The chicken broth is the best in town! Their tea is also great! However their service was bad. The staff only came for the initial order and then vanished. We couldn’t find them to order extra or ask for water. Nearby tables were well attended so I’m not sure why only our table was not attended. We had to get up and find them to pay our bill. It was not a pleasant experience.
