Food was so delicious, I got the omakase and everything was on point! Left feeling very full! Dessert was yummy as well- matcha tiramisu!

My husband and I had such a wonderful experience here! And when we get such good service I always gotta leave a good review! Our server was so nice and had nothing but great recommendations. We were sad to hear he’s moving to Arkansas but we wish him the best of luck! It was also my birthday so he brought out some yummy mochi! The sushi chefs greeted us with big smiles as we came in. A very friendly but nice atmosphere, especially for in a mall! All the sushi was FRESH and DELICIOUS!! Which is super important when picking a sushi place. The pictures speak for themselves 😌 We will come again whenever we come back up to visit.

So far, this restaurant is the best choice when one feels like authentic Japanese cuisines! Very friendly & respectful services and the food is just divine. Best to sit at the bar. Chef Naoki’s just amazing. We’ll always come back here for Japanese.

Sanraku never disappoints. Great food as always! The sushi was incredibly fresh and beautifully presented — the nigiri melted in my mouth, and the rolls were perfectly balanced. The eel bowl was rich and flavorful, and the tempura shrimp were light, crispy, and not greasy at all. We also enjoyed the clam soup, which was comforting and full of umami. Consistent quality, excellent flavors, and a reliable spot whenever we’re craving good Japanese food in San Jose. We’ll definitely keep coming back!

Amazing experiene 10/10 nigiri was amazing sea bream and katsuo totes recommend! Chef was super nice, we sat at the bar and had a great time! I regret not doing the omakase, had the uni donburi was still amazing tho!

Highly recommend Sanraku! The Volcano, California, Philly, and Dynamite rolls were all excellent - fresh, flavorful, and well-balanced. Miso soup was a great start to the meal. The hosts were warm and welcoming, which made the experience even better. I’d suggest making a reservation if you want to sit indoors - it gets busy quickly. Solid sushi spot in Westfield Oakridge!

We've been coming here quite often, probably at least every month since it's been hard finding a consistent and good sushi place in San Jose. Honestly, the price is great for the quality you get (plus they have a rewards program). We always order the Sushi Tokujo, Ika Geso Karaage, and Sake Toro. They had a seasonal uni soba noodles that were amazing but not on the menu anymore. We don't normally order sushi rolls though so I can't recommend that. Service is top notch and quality is amazing for a restaurant in a mall.

We have been coming here for years! We have set at the Sushi Bar, main dining area and the makeshift “patio” areas countless times. Each have their own feel to it, but the amazing food remains the same no matter where you sit. Kristy is our favorite waiter. She is great. And Yuki San is just the best sushiwoman period. We also often order it to-go and the food is still yummy. I personally think they are the best south bay sushi restaurant!

My friend and I went solely to try the chawanmushi because I was craving it but ended up getting the omakase. Needless to say it was amazing!! Our appetizer was a sashimi salad (8/10 perfect amount of acidity in the dressing just wish there was a little more salad), clam miso soup (7.5/10 did not skimp on the clams but that lead to a little bit of shell in the soup), and chawanmushi (10/10 BETTER THAN I COULDVE EVER IMAGINED). The omakase was presented beautifully. The wasabi was fresh and had an amazing nutty flavor. Overall this was an amazing experience and I will definitely be coming back!!

This has to be my favorite sushi spot in San Jose. The employees are friendly. The kitchen and sushi chef's ypu can tell you have a lot of knowledge. It's a great place to eat if you are an experienced sushi monger!

The only downside is the restaurant is in Oakridge Mall. I wish they could close the door so I don’t see/hear the mall chaos. Definitely will revisit

I've had a couple meals where the sesame chicken didn't really have any sauce on it, but you can always just ask for more. The prices are surprisingly reasonable too, for sure a good place to sit down and eat during a day out at the mall. Their takeout is good too.

The best Sushi in San Jose!! It costs a little more, but the quality of the ingredients makes it completely worthwhile. Some of my favorites beyond the fish are the Aigamo Duck and the Sake & Butter Clams. Also, a great Omakase experience if you sit at the counter.

Delicious sushi rolls and Japanese cuisine. Not sure if its authentic but it's tasty. Friendly staff. Decent portion. Average to high price. Limited seating, average 10-20mins wait or more, depends on busy hours/not. Located inside the mall.

Good place to enjoy japanese food, but it needs better service. It is inside a mall and small. Outdoor sitting available. The restroom is right next to kitchen...I hope cooks wash their hands. Anyway, I'm not feeling quite clean.

This is a solid choice for us when we crave sushi. We live nearby and have visited many times over the years. The food quality is always high. The customer service is usually good although sometimes inconsistent. Prices are a bit on the higher side but reasonable for the quality. All in all, I am a happy customer.

The sushi we got was largely overpriced and really bad. Ruined my whole day how much I paid for considering the fish being absolutely flavourless and dry. The agedashi tofu wasn’t too bad (wouldn’t order again though). Charged wrong amount that we caught (was over 20 bucks) because they didn’t serve one of the sushi and we were never informed of either mistake. Many flies constantly buzzing around in your face. Meh service. Table wasn’t clean, floor wasn’t clean. Was overall a yuck experience. Why would anyone ever go to this restaurant for sushi…? It makes me angry just thinking about the food again. 😥
