Excellent dinner and service. THANK YOU for hosting our Canine Companions for Independence South Bay fundraiser!! Woof woof!! - FUNDRAISER - Woof woof!! We had such a good time on Sunday night that we decided to go back tonight to SUSHI CONFIDENTIAL in Campbell. THANK YOU again for hosting us and giving us this week long Fundraising Opportunity!! Our Hostess Serena and her team were again WONDERFULl!!
We were seated immediately with reservation eventhough many places still have you waiting in a queue. Lucky was our server for lunch and he provided amazing service. Great location for outdoor dining as well. If you're craving Sushi give this spot a try for sure.
I had a favorite sushi spot for decades then it closed.🥲My dear friend invited me to Sushi Confidential and I’m happy to say that with the help of server Ian and GM Lucky, it was a great experience. If you’re local it’s a great spot to stop for lunch. From looking at the place, it is ready to go for dinner. Looks fun too!
Great service, there's sweet potato fries are the best! Fantastic happy hour menu had all the nigiri which is Super Fresh nice portion sizes. In the Tropic Like It's Hot Roll, which is our staple favorite.
Their sushi is incredible! We didn't even end up using any soy sauce or Wasabi on it because it was already so flavorful. We got the RSM roll, which is like a whole platter because it is loaded with so many toppings. Then we also got the hot cheeto roll and geisha girl roll. Both were big, although not as big as the RSM, and packed with flavor. All the food was 10/10, and the portions were big enough that three rolls made for a pretty large lunch for two people. Price came out to about $50/person, so definitely not a cheap restaurant, but the quality of the sushi was well worth it. We will be back!
Another great night at Sushi Confidential. Mocktails, very creative specialty rolls. We ordered gyoza, jalapeño bombs with spicy tune. They make these the right way. Tempura fry jalapeño then load with cream cheese cheese and spicy tuna. Also ordered “trench coat” and salmon hand roll.
The food here is good but the service is even better! Lucky was a great server. He was attentive and prompt with everything we asked for. Thanks, Lucky!
I was just driving by in the area and wanted some Sushi and decided to stop and check it out. I'm so happy I did. The music was definitely a whole vibe. The R & B mix with Rap was giving me life. The service was top tier and the food was fresh and delicious. It will be my new hang out spot on my days I want to grab a drink and relax at the bar.
When I first entered the restaurant, I asked for a menu. It had a nice weight to it, implying that they had a great selection. Nonetheless, the lunch menu was on page three, right under the cover page. I liked this because it helped assure that there was a lunch menu. Granted, the deals were not amazing ($21 for teriyaki bowl, $24 for double protein teriyaki bowl). Anyways, I needed to use their restroom and as no server was around, I asked the sushi chef. He was welcoming and directed me to a very clean bathroom. It was good that the women’s restroom was slightly closer than the men’s, a reversal from the normal order that hi dress the women’s so the bathroom line isn’t as visible. I came in very hungry, and after placing my order, was tempted to get nigiri to stave off the hunger. I would order the tamago nigiri eventually, but more on that later. Meanwhile, my server brought out the miso soup. Perfect, as it had some solid scallions and tofu. That would help with the hunger and so I thought about not ordering the nigiri, but as mentioned I ordered it. The bento box was quite full. I appreciated the sesame seeds on the rice. The rice itself was also well cooked and neither soggy nor dry. Moving up, the beef had nice slices, and I’m pretty sure I saw some rhombus diamonds. The grill marks were great, and the teriyaki sauce was not too sweet. On top of the beef was a little container of katsu sauce to complement the chicken katsu on the right of the beef. Nice and crispy, which was a great complement to the cooked veggies. They were to the bottom of the chicken. There were zucchini, carrots, and a single half broccoli. The broccoli was probably out of season, as it was a lighter color and not dark green. The zucchini was nicely seasoned to bring out the innate sweetness. There was also salad. Anyways, the tamago I’ve been hinting about: the moment I saw it, I gaped in amazement at its beauty. Wide and yellow slab/ Like a kyoto oiran’s sleeve/ I’d touch that beauty. In this case, I bit into it (it may be pretty, but it’s still food!). It was a little on the tough side, but very good on the sweetness level. There was just a hint of sugar.
I absolutely love this sushi spot! What really makes it special, though, is the amazing staff. Crystal, Kaya, and Mae always make me feel so welcome every time we come in. They’re warm, attentive, and genuinely kind, which makes the dining experience even better. Between the incredible sushi and the wonderful service, this place has become one of my favorites. Highly recommend!
First time here. All the sushi rolls were excellent. Large rolls but a little pricey. Excellent service. My son's birthday was why we were here. Our server comps is a lava cake that we shared. He and his colleague both sang Happy Birthday for my son. Parking is a little difficult during the weekends. We didn't have to wait like some of the other restaurants in the area. Definitely a place to come back and eat!
Love this place, one of my favorite sushi places in South Bay. Recommendations: RSM, Flamin Hot Cheetos Roll, Geisha Girl and the Unagi Waffle fries (must try). If you have a party of more than 6 people, then you can reserve a table ahead of time and you should because this place can get really busy especially on weekends.
Food was amazing! The music was a little loud in the area we were sitting at, but overall, the service was great! The waiter was very attentive and checking on how we were enjoying the food.

Wonderful ambiance and excellent service. Dakota went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect and checked in with us throughout the meal. We'll definitely be back and will be requestin…
Miriam gave us the best service! 10/10 bartender. The drinks were delicious. Highly recommend the Pear or Apple Sake bombs.
Went for happy hour today, service was great! Kaya was very helpful and friendly. Always a pleasure coming in and getting some great food :)
Campbell's Sushi Con is the best out of all the locations! The service here is quick and easy while the ambiance welcomes a fun atmosphere for all kinds of events. Dakota has always been my favor…
LeRoy has been a great bartender. We had a quick happy hour with him. He was attentive and personable. Definitely will be back. Thanks LeRoy.
Came in had food at the bar, bartender Dakota outstanding service at the bento box and a couple of drinks. drinks are awesome.
Bailey was great! Food was good - wouldn't recommend the spider roll but the shady shrimp roll was great
Great service. Why is the salmon nigiri so good? Also the water tasted very good for some reason
Lucky was so nice and friendly! Sushi was delicious and fresh! Can't wait to come back.
Went there with a reservation but they had plenty of open tables on a weekday. Good selection of sushi for both vegetarian and non vegetarians. Especially if you prefer cooked meat they have an option to get your food deep fried as well. Loved their variety and they give good suggestions based on your preference. They even had kids menu. There is a lot of street parking and free parking garages as well.

The Good: The non-vegetarian food is great! The Savage Sarah roll and the Hamachi Kama were both delicious. The guava mocktail is also highly recommended. The Not-So-Good: The vegetarian options we picked (Umami Mushroom Bao and DTF) were below average. The flavors clashed and the balance was off. Note to self: skip the Mexican-fusion sushi. The mochi dessert was also just average. The Service: Started fine, but became dead slow towards the end. We waited forever just to get our ice cream. Despite the misses and the slow service at the end, I'm planning to return. I'm hoping their traditional vegetarian sushi options are better, as the menu still sounds like it has a lot of potential.
Sushi Confidential has a fun and lively atmosphere in the heart of Downtown Campbell, making it a great spot for casual sushi nights. We ordered a variety of items, starting with two orders of albacore nigiri — the cuts weren’t the cleanest, but the flavor was decent. The Blonde Bombshell roll, which used to be a personal favorite, felt like it lost a bit of its flair this time around. The Shishito Kamikaze wasn’t nearly as spicy as expected, which was a bit of a letdown if you’re looking for that kick. Surprisingly, the Spicy Tuna Cut Roll stole the show — fresh, flavorful, and perfectly balanced. The Philly Roll was solid, nothing groundbreaking, but it did the job. For an appetizer, we tried the Salmon Bomb, which had an interesting concept but ultimately landed as average. As for drinks, the cocktails were vibrant and creative but leaned too sweet for my personal taste. Overall, it’s a cool spot with a fun menu and energetic vibe, but the food was a mix of hits and misses this time around. Still a place I’d come back to, just with more selective ordering.
I’d heard a lot of good things about this place, so we went in with some expectations. It was a Sunday night, and the restaurant was nearly empty—no wait for a table, which was nice. We started with sweet potato fries, which came out quickly. Then we ordered three rolls of vegan sushi and some baos. As vegetarians, we appreciated that they had decent plant-based options with tofu. But despite the restaurant not being busy, the service was really slow. The baos took forever to arrive, and even the sushi took longer than expected. We had our 8-year-old kids with us, and they were getting restless waiting for food. Since the portions weren’t very filling, we ordered sizzling vegetables with tofu, and—surprise—it also took ages to come out. While the food itself was great, the wait times were frustrating. To top it off, they automatically added a 20% gratuity for our party of six (four adults, two kids). The prices were already insanely high—both appetizers and entrees felt way overpriced. We ended up with a $200 bill, which just didn’t feel justified given the service. Their sushi is good, no doubt, but they really need to step up their service if they’re going to charge those prices and demand a 20% tip. Not sure I’d go back with this kind of experience.
Disappointed. I have heard a lot of great things about this place and was expecting phenomenal sushi and was served decent sushi. It was not bad but I probably would not go there again. The price of single rolls and just the price of most menu items are by far the priciest amongst other similar restaurants. For the price you pay for the roll, you should be getting melt in your mouth slices of fish. That is not the case at least for my experience. Maybe it was just a bad day and the fresh delivery of fish didn’t come through… I don’t know. Go try it out. The Blonde Bombshell is pretty tasty. Presentation is dope though along with the service. Every person was customer service driven and friendly. Great location and environment. Super clean restaurant as well.

I got the lunch bento box with mixed tempura and chicken katsu. Everything was just fine. Nothing to specifically write home about but also not particularly bad.

Everytime I eat here I get the shits. Friendly staff tho. Well the menu is innovative definitely not what I think you would describe as traditional Japanese cuisine. The presentation is nice and it tastes good however at the end of the night my bowels never agree
The place is nice, people friendly but sushi is meh 🫤, the pork buns are good. I found it expensive for the quality of food (108 usd) 2 people we order 2 dishes, one appetizer and a sake. I don’t recommend this place if you like sushi

Today I had lunch with my daughter, everything was normal until one of the waiters caught up with me at the exit and complained about why I didn't leave him a tip. As far as I know, it's not obligatory to leave a tip if it was just me and my daughter. If this person thinks he needs more money for his job, he should talk to the owner or look for a better-paying job. The food is good, but the people, both the waiter and the female manager, have a terrible attitude.
A bland, overpriced and underwhelming attempt at real sushi. Couldn't taste anything but the rice vinegar in the sushi. Even Safeway sushi tastes better than here! Service was bad and food took forever to come to us. Server didn't even notice us. We only ordered 2 rolls and that took over 40 mins! And both rolls were terrible. One roll had slabs of mayo on it.
