Una graditissima sorpresa questo ristorante "mascherato" da trattoria. Nonostante l'assenza di aeree all'aperto ha saputo, grazie a piatti abbondanti e di qualità, farci trascorrere una serata "mare & terra" di altissimo livello. Personale gentile, conto inferiore alle aspettative ed una discreta cantina fanno sì che le 5 stelle siano super meritate. Obbligatoria la prenotazione specialmente nei festivi e prefestivi. Parcheggio abbastanza facile grazie alla vicina piazza.
Veramente ottimo tutto,dalla materia prima alle cotture al servizio. Mangiato sia pesce che tartufo e il livello è sempre altissimo,prezzo giusto per ciò che si mangia

A table of 12 people, including three well-behaved but lively children! Impeccable service, patient, polite, and friendly waitresses, but never intrusive. The dishes lived up to expectations; you could choose from an excellent selection of seafood and a handful of select truffle or mushroom dishes. The mixed seafood platter was truly delicious, pleasing to the eye and the palate... truly a great satisfaction. The seafood ravioli were excellent, and the Ligurian-style fish was special! The only drawback was the wine cellar, in my opinion, could definitely be improved (too many reds and not enough whites), and the dessert, a Mont Blanc, which I left virtually untouched; it had too much cream and was too heavy, in my opinion. The waitress's intervention when she asked me about it was commendable and professional. The price, perhaps, is a bit high. The quality is far above the Genoese average, but the price, in my opinion, is a bit overpriced. However, if you want to make a good impression, Rensin is definitely a safe bet!
I visited this restaurant for the first time a month ago with friends. We all ordered the "mixed seafood" appetizer and the "mixed fried fish" main course. I must say the dishes were delicious: fresh fish, fried fish that was not greasy and delicious. The desserts my friends ordered were also fabulous. The wine was excellent, the service impeccable. We will return to Rensin as soon as possible. Good luck!!
Invited by a friend to this restaurant, I had the pleasure of discovering a spectacular place. The service was excellent; the waitress was able to recommend food and wine. She served us with care and attention. The food was excellent, featuring fresh, freshly prepared seafood. The restaurant is well-kept and welcoming, with a rural yet contemporary style. Excellent place. I recommend it.

Every time I walk through the doors of Rensin Restaurant, I immediately feel at home. This place has become my favorite refuge after a busy day at work. The welcoming atmosphere and the always friendly staff create a relaxing environment, perfect for unwinding. The food is simply extraordinary. Every dish is prepared with the freshest ingredients, and the fish is always top-quality. I can't help but order their fish of the day, which is always an unforgettable experience. Every bite is an explosion of flavors, and you can sense the attention and passion behind every dish. In short, Rensin is the ideal place for those looking for a quality meal in a family-friendly atmosphere. I can't wait to return.
Excellent dishes.... I ate the entire fish menu and it can only be said to be EXCELLENT... the staff were extremely helpful and they managed to address you formally while still being friendly... I'll definitely be back... Tiramisu was good, I would just have added more coffee... but that's just a personal preference... Very good, I recommend it... the millefeuille cream was EXCELLENT...

Dinner with friends and our 11-month-old daughter, table for six. This is our second time here, and what can I say... we expected a dinner that deserved an A+, but it was a A+! The menu exceeded our expectations; in addition to the à la carte dishes, which were mostly meat, the off-menu dishes featured fish. The dishes were perfect in terms of variety, flavor, and composition. We had fried mushrooms as an appetizer, along with the panissette they brought. Then the entrees included mixed seafood, swordfish carpaccio with raw octopus. Some chose the first course: taglierini with mushrooms, both white and red, while others chose the second course: tagliata with porcini mushrooms, sea bass with porcini mushrooms, and Ligurian-style sea bass. Finally, some chose dessert, others fruit. Kindness and friendliness are the hallmarks of this trattoria. The atmosphere is quiet, the service is excellent, and the wine list is excellent. We'll be back soon for a family birthday. It's currently one of my favorite places in Genoa! Returning after a week, I can only confirm everything! Of course we tried other dishes: large raw fish, calamari tagliatelle, dessert after eight.
Beautiful restaurant outside Genoa. The very kind staff found me a spot even though the place was packed. A nice welcome drink to get you in the right mood for the evening. The mixed seafood appetizer was remarkably good. The tartare di tartua was fresh and tasty. For my first course, I had the ravioli with porcini mushrooms and parmesan cheese... an avalanche of mushrooms. 😍 The location is very neat and clean... but it reminds you of the warm welcome you get at a trattoria. An excellent experience.
A top-notch restaurant. The location is small and well-kept, the staff is very friendly, present and competent. The cuisine is nothing short of spectacular. I had the pleasure of trying: - "mixed seafood" appetizer, a selection of appetizers, all the components of the dish are perfectly cooked and enhanced, but a special mention goes to the roasted octopus on a cream of potatoes and leeks, very tender. - first course "fettuccine calamari, clams and bottarga". This is also a perfectly balanced dish, the pasta is well creamed and the bottarga undoubtedly gives that extra boost to everything. - second course "underwater bass with porcini mushrooms", absolutely the dish that I enjoyed the most. Sublime, the flavors of the two main elements stand out, but they come together to form a truly perfect dish from every point of view. The fish is absolutely top quality, very fresh and perfectly enhanced by the expert hand of the Chef. Generous portions. Finally, the bill is very fair for the quality of the offer, I would have paid even more. Congratulations indeed!
Just… WOW! The food, people who work there, atmosphere - everything is just perfect! Me and my friends enjoyed this place a lot. All the positions we ordered were beyond just 5 stars. If I could I would give this restaurant 10 stars! We definitely are going to be back!

To eat excellent fish, you don't need to go to the seaside, you just need to choose the right places. Spectacular truffles!! Excellent quality/quantity/price ratio. Fish-based lunch: everything was delicious, with imaginative dishes, both visually and palatably, and the fish cooked to a melt-in-your-mouth perfection. The portions were generous, in fact, halfway through my second course, I was already full. Only the desserts, personally, weren't my thing. The staff was super knowledgeable and passionate about what they do!
Everything was delicious, the salted caramel panna cotta was superb! The service was kind and attentive, and the price was reasonable. My only complaint: the wait was really long; we started eating our entrees after an hour and a half of being seated. While this might be a positive aspect for the food (considering how delicious and carefully prepared the dishes were), the fact that we had to wait almost half an hour for dessert makes me think a little more staff, or perhaps a little more organization, would be helpful.
Super fresh fish! Small, simple but well-maintained restaurant. Very friendly staff. Both the daily menu and à la carte menu are available. Good wine list. Simple dishes made with top-quality ingredients. Raw fish is fresher than you'll find anywhere else. Given the restaurant's size, I recommend booking in advance. Although not exactly in a tourist area, it's worth a visit for those who love simple cuisine with authentic flavors. Highly recommended!
Very nice experience overall, the only downside is the location which is faaaaaaaar away from the city. If you have the grit to travel to the remote outskirts, you will not be disappointed.
Honestly, I expected more from what I'd heard about this place. I had a mixed seafood appetizer and a side of fried artichokes, which, despite being nice and dry as if fried, were very hard to digest. The dessert was a total disappointment: 2 appetizers, 2 desserts, half a bottle of white wine and 1 bottle of water, 104 euros... I agree that it's definitely superior in quality to many others, but the price is definitely not in line with the price.
