Harry's Steakhouse & Raw Bar | Cancun

We found Harry’s steakhouse and rawbar by chance and are so happy we did. We can honestly say it was one of the nicest meals we’ve ever had. Impossible to mention all the staff that looked after us but special mention to Yadir, Ovidio, Chali and Farfan who couldn’t have been more welcoming and attentive. The ambiance, service, genuinely top quality Steak and Seafood were absolutely faultless. Request a table on the terrace overlooking the water if you can, to make it even more special. Thank you team ‘Harry’s’, absolutely faultless.

Absolutely an amazing experience. The atmosphere when you walk in is so welcoming with all of the staff greeting you with smiles. While we waited for our table, we waited at the bar where our server Luiz was very friendly and helpful taking our drink orders and even helped us take our drinks to the table when it was ready for us. The atmosphere outside was perfect with great live entertainment and beautiful views of the lagoon. Josmay and Marcos provided the best prompt and friendly service. The food was so delicious and barely any wait for your food to arrive. The restaurant manager was friendly and greeted us several times. The best experience, friendly prompt service and amazing food. I can't wait to go back!

Absolutely Outstanding! Harry’s Grill in Cancun delivered the best dining experiences I have ever had. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm, welcoming, and elegant, without feeling pretentious. The staff was beyond attentive, genuinely friendly, knowledgeable, and made us feel like VIPs the entire evening. The food, simply perfection. Every dish was beautifully presented and bursting with flavor. The quality of the ingredients and the care put into every detail was obvious. It was not just a meal, it was a true culinary experience. If you are in Cancun and want the perfect combination of world class food and impeccable service, Harry’s Grill is a must. I would come back here again in a heartbeat.

Came to Cancun to celebrate my birthday. And what a celebration it was at Harry's! I can't say enough great things about this place. It's a beautiful feast for the eyes. Food, atmosphere, service ~ everything is excellent. It's definitely the place to celebrate a special occasion. A birthday, anniversary, promotion, listen, you cannot go wrong here. Camacho and Rodrigo were our servers and they made sure every detail of our evening was on point!

We had a great Thanksgiving dinner here and Juan Cortes and Baas were great and made sure we had a wonderful time. My family loved the complimentary cotton candy at the end. That was fun for my 11 yr old nephew. Will be back next time in Cancun :)

Harry’s is a must when you come to Cancun!! We were served by Samuel and Ethan and customer service as 10/10! Extremely professional and great personalities. This was the best dinner that my husband and I had in Cancun! The service was excellent and so fast! Chalo, Flores, Avid, Pratt, and Baas provided an amazing dining experience, and we cannot wait to return!

Harry’s was awesome! The service was the best I’ve ever seen, the place was beautiful and had different environments; indoors and out, over the water, by a water feature. The servers and staff were so kind and really seemed to care about our comfort and enjoyment. The food was very delicious and the way they served it was so classy. A lady at the next table wasn’t happy about her chicken being too tough and they immediately took special care to make it right with such kindness. Each server was like a butler the way they stayed nearby watching for anything that needed done and swooped in to cater to all our needs. The only thing I can think of to improve upon is the choice of music. They played nightclub type of music that wasn’t in sync with the elegant atmosphere. Some smooth jazz or classical music would be more fitting and relaxing. Most of the people there didn’t look like the clubbing type, either. All in all, my husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our meal and would definitely recommend Harry’s to anyone wanting the best service, atmosphere and food!

Absolutely amazing all around. My wife and I experienced the king crab and waygu steak. Chalo, Flores, and senor Pratt made us feel like all stars. We are so grateful for such a wonderful atmosphere, service, and food. This review doesn't do justice at how excellent EVERYTHING was. Fred's USED to be our favorite spot to go, now it is Harry's. Looking forward to our next trip with this opportunity every year.

I came with my husband and brought my parents, they were enchanted! Since the moment you enter it’s a new experience, every detail is thought our for your pleasure and satisfaction. You feel taken care of in ways you didn’t think you’d like to be satisfied. And I haven’t even started talking about the food! Visited this restaurant for my birthday and can’t even fault them. 11/10 service, it was absolutely AMAZING. Our servers, David and Brito were absolutely exceptional. They went through the menu thoroughly and recommended dishes to us based on our preferences and made sure we were happy with our choices. They were very welcoming and friendly and were the best servers I’ve ever come across, very bubbly and just made my birthday meal that much more special. I would definitely come back again, when I next visit Mexico and would 100% recommend this place to others. Absolutely amazing couldn’t even fault them. Everything was perfect, definitely enjoyed coming to this restaurant and it was all down to David and Brito giving us that exceptional and high standard service!

One of the best dinners we have ever had!! Juan and Ethan were absolutely fantastic. The whole experience was spectacular. My daughter has allergies they worked around to make sure she had the best dinner. The filet was amazing! My husband loved his sea bass. The lobster bisque was the best I’ve ever had. PLUS to cotton candy at the end was a great touch! Would highly recommend to anyone going to Cancun! You have to eat here!!! No excuses!

Our family really enjoyed our time here at Harry’s, and it was the dining highlight of our vacation. We were celebrating two birthdays and they made both of them feel so special. The service staff were exceptional and patient with our children (9mo and 4years) I can’t say enough good things about our experience. The food was delicious, the manger Bruno was accessible and accommodating. We will be back EVERY time we visit this magical part of the world.

We had several great dinners while in Cancun, but Harry's was definitely my favorite (Also ate at llios and Porfirio's which I both enjoyed). The service from our waiter, David, was outstanding. I ordered the Australian Wagyu filet, and it was possibly the best filet I've ever had. Adding the lobster tail made it even better. I finished with the Harry's Pie for dessert, which didn't disappoint. We were celebrating our anniversary, and the staff went out of their way to make the evening feel special. They brought a dessert and even took a Polaroid photo of us to take home, which was a thoughtful touch. If I return to Cancun, Harry's will be a must.

From start to finish incredible. Jose and Luis great team of servers. Filet from Australia and Lamb from Colorado and foie gras from France. Nitrogen charged 0 degree vanilla ice cream made table side. Waterfront table wonderful.

My husband and I visited this restaurant to celebrate our anniversary. Charly and Javier, the servers, were exceptional in providing outstanding customer service throughout our entire dining experience. The food, drinks, and ambiance were all top-notch. Special thanks to the wonderful manager for making our visit so enjoyable.

This place was absolutely fantastic and the service was impeccable. Rodrigo was our server and cannot wait to see him again. As I travel, a lot is very rare for me to get five stars across the board , and this place definitely hit the mark.

I had never been to Harry’s Steakhouse but always wanted to try it. It was our anniversary and so we decided to celebrate with steak. Javier and Charlie were our servers and they couldn’t have been more attentive to our table. All the food was well prepared including the steak. It’s right next to the lagoon and the setting couldn’t be better. Would come back when I’m in Cancun again. Also tried to order the cotton candy as we saw it at another table and it comes with every meal. Such a lovely touch.

We were A party of four, we had a truly spectacular dining experience at Harry's on a Wednesday evening. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was amazing, and the service was impeccable, possibly one of the best I’ve had in a decade. We started with delicious drinks and this amazing bread, it was heavenly, before moving on to the main courses. The lobster risotto was absolutely spectacular, a real standout dish. My two companions who ordered the Australian fillets were thrilled with their perfectly cooked steaks. My ribeye was delicious and prepared exactly as requested. The quality didn't stop at the main course. The desserts were amazing, and I highly recommend saving room for the cotton candy they bring to the table at the end of the meal. The entire experience was elevated by the exceptional service and sophisticated, yet lively, atmosphere. I would highly recommend Harry's for anyone looking for a truly memorable dining experience in Cancun.

We come to Harry’s everytime we visit Cancun and the service and food are always phenomenal. This visit we went to dinner for my birthday and Julio and Pedro made my night perfect. The birthday cake and cotton candy were the cherries on top.

Jerry & Franco were our servers. Very professional, courteous and delightful. Atmosphere was exceptional. Next time back to Cancun we will be back. Only complaint is the music was not really dinner music. A more calm and peaceful music for dinner would have made it all around an exceptional evening.

Happened to stumble upon this restaurant while strolling through Cancun. Was severely underdressed for this fine dining restaurant. Staff welcomed us wholeheartedly and we were seated outside. The service staff had great uniforms and guided us through the menu. The choice of meat was global and had different portion sizes available. They had a variety of appetizers, mains and desserts. I would rate this as the best steak I have had. The quality of the meat and the perfection to which it was cooked is worth a mention. The restaurant had an amazing interior, it was designed from the furniture to the lighting. I would wholeheartedly recommend anyone to visit this restaurant on their visit to Cancun. I do understand it's expensive for Mexico, but the restaurant does offer global standards without any doubt and deserves to be visited.

Harry's is EXCELLENT all around. The service is exceptional from the very start. The hostess handed us off to the servers with a warm welcome and name exhance. Arturo and Gustavo did a great job at detailing the food and showing off the menu. Anytime you needed them they were always close by and attentive. The food itself was to die for. Its the best steak I have ever had. This is overall a 10/10 restaurant for its food and service and I highly recommend everyone come here at least once.

Visited Harry’s twice when we came to Cancun. The first time was impeccable, the food and service was amazing. We were however situated right next to a speaker which made it incredibly difficult to hear. The second time we visited it was still good but my partner ended up being ill and sadly it was our last day and flying home first thing in the morning. We would visit again. It is quite expensive but when you have a 100% fantastic experience it’s worth it. Not so much when it’s just good.

Beautiful decor and restaurant. Julio & Jesus were very attentive and gave amazing service. Not their fault the steaks and sides aren’t delicious. The empanadas were good. Steaks and sides were under seasoned. Vanilla nitrogen ice cream was a fun experience. Cotton candy was a nice touch just too sweet for me. Paying same prices as USD, was hoping for yummy meal, Julio and Jesus saved the underwhelming food experience by going above and beyond.

Disappointed and it’s not all Harry’s fault. If I had to boil it down to the actual problem it was simply the expectation was far greater than the reality. Having watched video reviews and read so many great things I knew that I wanted to have the Harry’s experience for our special anniversary dinner while vacationing in Cancun. After having finished a meal filled with appetizers like the seafood platter and Caesar salad (Caesar Salad was very good seafood platter not so much), Entrees of Australian Waygu and Grilled Octupuss, along with cocktails and dessert I left with the feeling of empty disappointment. To be fair a lot of this disappointment was my own fault. I did not speak up when we entered to a nearly empty restaurant at 6pm for our reservation and were seated out side on the patio next to a fabric curtain on a chilly and windy 17 degree Celsius (63 Fahrenheit) night. Despite being very cold there were no blankets or heaters offered. I didn’t speak up when our medium rare steak arrived blue rare even though they slice it and serve the table seeing how blue the steak was through and through. I didn’t speak up when the tables around us received the iconic cotton candy finale with the bill and we did not. Being soft spoken it’s not in my nature to speak up. Sorry Harry’s I wish I had as I believe Harry’s has the ability and desire to deliver memorable nights to its guests it just wasn’t to be for our special night. For those interested our meal consisted of the following: Seafood Platter- 5/10 (under sized for the price and run of the mill items) Caesar Salad 8/10 (really nice flavour and portion size) Australian Waygu Ribeye 4/10 (under cooked but great flavour) Grilled Octopus’s 4/10 (Blackened on one side so tough but gently cooked on the other side so tender) Lobster Mac and Cheese 5/10 (tiny portion however 50/50 on lobster to noodle ratio and the cheese was bland) Lemon Mousse Dessert 9/10 (The highlight of the meal very cool and different) Cocktails 7/10 Well prepared though a limited with the Quartz being the standout. One note on service- Service was overly attentive which sounds strange but having two waiters stand next to your table while you eat felt a bit strange and overbearing. Plates were cleared the moment your fork hit an empty plate even while your mate was still finishing their meal which maybe some prefer but I would prefer a bit more distance for a private conversation and plates to be cleared together so as not to pressure one to hurry up. Total bill was about 7500 Pesos which was not more than expected had the evening been what had been hoped for. I’m sorry Harry’s I wanted to love this dinner so badly and tell everyone that this is the place to go to make memories for any special occasion. Unfortunately it was memorable for the wrong reasons.

We ordered an Australian wagyu steak and of course were excited because we were expecting a top notch steak. Instead, we got a steak that tasted like gasoline, not cooked properly and was tough. We complained to the server who did nothing. Also to the manager who again… did nothing. Charged us for it and even charged us for our dessert which they could’ve easily taken off as an apology. Won’t be back. Very disappointed.
