Unfortunately, I remember the last time I went to Johnny Rockets. It was 2015 and it was after a rough night in Las Vegas, a night I wish I had forgotten by now. I was broke and broken at the same time and in high need of food. The problem was, however, that I did not have any money left on my bank accounts (yeah, you read it right, it’s plural; broke on all fronts). All I had was a few dollars in cash and that was barely enough for a bottle of water at Johnny Rockets. I had breakfast, lunch and dinner at the same time with a bottle of water. Five years on and there I was again, at Johnny Rockets: I had the money and I was definitely not broken (yet). I ordered it all: a double burger, a drink and some cheese fries. To be fair, I am not sure whether it was due to my prior trauma, but it was amazing. I wish I could describe how it was, but I am afraid I cannot. Just imagine me lying on my hammock at my hotel in Cancun at 7 am, the water drooling out of my mouth imagining the food I had last night. That is me right now. I know that this feeling, too, shall pass, but at the moment I feel invincible. Hegel remarks somewhere that all great world-historic facts appear, so to speak, twice. I am the living proof that disproves this philosophy. A lot has changed in five years and I will not go broke and broken to a Johhny Rockets ever again (note to self: do not go to Las Vegas anymore). Hamburguesas Deliciosas! Servicio Plano! Somos clientes frecuentes de este restaurante porque realmente las Hamburguesas son de las mejores que hay en Cancún, hablando de restaurantes accesibles. Y es por eso que siempre regresamos aunque el servicio es bastante básico y plano, no hemos tenido una gran experiencia en ese aspecto ninguna de las veces que hemos visitado el lugar. Así que 1 estrella 🌟 al servicio. Las Hamburguesas, las papas , y bebidas todo se pide por separado, no hay paquetes como en las franquicias conocidas. Pero todo está rico, recomiendo la opción mitad y mitad de papas con aros para que pruebes ambos! En general el restaurante es cómodo y rica la comida que es lo que buscamos cuando ya hace hambre !!! Ubicado en el área del Fast Food de la plaza subiendo las escaleras eléctricas encuentras este pequeño lugar. Cuentan con menú infantil también así que para los peques también hay opciones.

Las hamburguesas son muy pequeñas y bastante caras para lo que es pero tiene muy buen sabor la carne y el pan aunque el pan le ponen mucha mantequilla y te queda todo el papel grasosito. Me gusta la temática y los trabajadores muy atentos, lo único que no me gusta es el método o la forma de facturación… es muy lenta y complicada pero todo lo demás esta Perfecto.

Al principio cuando llegamos al restaurante te dan un agradable recibimiento y te llevan a tu mesa, te dan la carta para escoger tu platillo , si aun no estas list@ te dan más tiempo para escoger. El ambiente es cómodo y no sientes que los meseros te presionan para que termines. La comida llega muy rápido y es la porción es mas que suficiente para una persona al igual que esta rica. En cuanto a la limpieza y aspecto del restaurante es impecable, los botes de basura están vacíos y en cuanto a cocina esta muy ordenado y limpio.

Un ambiente agradable, el lugar se ve muy bonito, me sentí como en una cita de las de antes, la vibra y el estilo es como de los años 50's. La comida muy rica aunque tardan un poco en servirla, todo muy limpio y el personal amable.

Excelente la hamburguesa, la carne deliciosa y los aderezos muy buenos, las malteadas son adictivas y los aros de cebolla unicos. El famoso chilli con carne tienen que probarlo es excelente si les gusta la comida picante. El ambiente y la decoración es típicamente americano. El mesero me sirvió otra hamburguesa a lo ordenado pero estaba buena. Recomendable.

El servicio deja mucho que desear. Desde que llegas al lugar parece que nadie te quiere atender porque entre unas a otras se hacen señas para ver quién te recibe en la puerta. Una vez en la mesa, parece que tienen flojera, todo el tiempo están con una actitud pésima. Pedí en 2 ocasiones a 2 meseras diferentes más catsup (ya que la dan en un contenedor individual muy pequeño) y no me la llevaron. La comida es excelente, los aros de cebolla y las papas tenían el crujiente perfecto y esto lo tienes que pedir aparte, ya que la hamburguesa no te lo incluye pero vale la pena pedirlo como un extra. Definitivamente volvería de nuevo solo por la comida pero en el servicio en verdad tienen mucho qué mejorar. Además, no tienen Wi-fi.

El lugar es bastante lindo y cómodo, siempre lo frecuento para ir por un par de malteados las cuales son bastante ricas, la última vez que fuí no tenían leche deslactosada para prepararlas lo cual es un punto en contra la atención de parte del mesero fue distante lo cual resultó incómodo.

Las hamburguesas deliciosas, todo esta riquísimo, es mi parada obligatoria cuando salgo de la isla. Solo que la carne en una de las hamburguesas se deshizo y se terminó comiendo la hamburguesa con cubiertos😅 pero el sabor es lo importante🙌🏼✨

Precios más o menos, algunos productos por lo que ofrecen si se me hicieron de precio elevado. Las hamburguesas son sabrosas y tienen buenas especialidades, las bebidas algo caras y no recomiendo el té helado. El servicio es bueno pero podría mejorar, le hace falta armar combos.

Hace unos meses fui a conocer este lugar con un amigo. Es amplio y usualmente se llena, pero esa vez estaba tranquilo. La atencion fue amable, no tardaron mucho en traer los alimentos y recuerdo que me pedi una opcion de sandwich de pollo, llenadora pero no me encanto en cuanto a sabor. Las malteadas estan de buen tamaño, pero honestamente la senti algo pesada, quizas por su crema chantilly porque usualmente no me gusta; mi amigo se pidio unas papas y estaban buenas, crocantes y bien sazonadas. Sin duda tocará darle otra oportunidad para probar lo mas pedido del menú, porque el ambiente es bastante agradable, el hecho que sea un estilo vintage lo hace cómodo y aporta a la experiencia.

Es todo un clásico para los amantes de las Hamburguesas estilo americano. Su ambientación tipo 60's lo convierte en un lugar muy agradable en donde puedes sentirte cómodo con tu familia y amigos. Talvez algunos chicos no aman su trabajo y se refleja en sus micro gestos al atenderte, por ello le doy 3 estrellas al servicio. Los precios un poco elevados respecto a una hamburguesa a la que estamos habituados pero los refrescos tienen refill y hay que hacerlo valer. Vale la pena.

A great place at a new location at the food court in Malecón Américas. They try their best and they are improving, but the best Johhny Rockets is at la Isla but I think this is the second best. Now they give a better service and more people visit this restaurant because at their previous location (Las Américas disappeared Food Court, is was frequently empty. Not it is a different story. Great place, great style, old fashion burgers and a great time.

La comida de buen sabor, el tamaño como las del Wendy's y antes no eran así, Lo que no me gustó es que no tiene clima y estaba haciendo mucho calor ahí adentro 🥵, en el área de comidas éstaba mucho mejor el clima

Las hamburguesas son buenas pero lo más delicioso son las malteadas. Es una buena opción pero sí es un poco costoso.

La comida muy normal, nada espectacular El servicio básico. Sin atención real, muy apresurado el mesero y no habia lista de espera como para apresurarnos tanto Ambiente muy ruidoso no se escucha la música y las series en las TVs pues solo puedes ver la imagen

The food was average at best, burger king right next door makes better ones and alot cheaper, this is more if you wanna go for the vibes or a date. Youre gonna spend double the money than eating at the food court. The burgers dont come with fries there sold separately. The server was very good and kept my drink topped up. This place is a gimmick if you want to waste some loenh this is the spot.

Food was good, service was poor. Our waitress came to our table 3 times. 1. To take our order, 2. Bring food and drinks. 3. Get paid. She didnt come around once to ask us how the food was or if needed anything. I had to ask another waiter for stuff and he seemed annoyed I had to ask. We needed extra stuff like salt, ketchup, mustard, extra dipping sauce. Sad day in Johnny rockets today.

Food is good, they will cook the burgers the way you want them. I have mine without bun and this is no problem for them. Can get crowded at weekends and a little noisy. The jukebox doesn't seem to have a volume control. But aside from this a good place for a burger.

Honestly, the shake was delicious, the onion rings crunchy and a great flavor. although never ever buy a burger at this place. Worst burger I have ever tasted. It was the house speciality burguer, not only was it raw when then brought it he first time but the second time around I could not even think of eating it. Bread all mooshie and the dressing was naaaasty.

Food is ok, service is so so. Ordered a float, and as you can see in the picture, the glass was the wrong one. As soon as I moved the straw, the soda went everywhere. I requested a new glass and help with cleaning the mess, and I was "scolded" for moving the ice cream around, because I was "supposed to drink that without moving it" Clearly, this person had never had a float before 😒 The cheese in the chilli dog was barely melted. I wouldn't make this choice again...

After trying to decide after a while on a place to eat, I decided on Johnny Rockets since it could've been something more substantial. I sat at the bar and it seemed like the waitress didn't know what to do, so it was kind of a fiasco to order. I got the grilled cheese and a side of fries with a coke... and it seemed pretty complicated to put this order in. The fries were kind of, well, not seasoned. The grilled cheese itself was pretty small....and not really truly grilled... the cheese was not really melted at all. And even though it was a fountain soda I never was offered a refill. The standard here is not the same as it is in the US.

Espero que el comunity manager lo vea Me salí de un restaurante en Americas De una cadena similar y el servicio no fue completo y pensé y busque bueno es Rockets seguramente estará Bueno y pues dijo es un. Restaurante americano y pues no, no se si salió peor, La mesera no tiene espíritu de servicio tal parece que le haces un favor, nada de convencimiento de incrementar las ventas yo cuando voy a un restaurante me gusta que me vendan y que superen tus expectativas este no fue el caso, me trajo la hamburguesa sobre cocida, el tocino quemado, las papas sin sal, el refresco no me lo sirvió, la carne salada, grasienta y sin sabor y tampoco vino para saber cómo va todo, horrible servicio, no volveré jamás! Están mejores las hamburguesas de la esquina. 🤦🏻‍♂️

Worst burger ever! This is a busy airport location.. I spent $45 for 2 regular burgers ,one fry and 2 drinks. They gave me the wrong order twice. I understand it’s busy but for a period of 10 minutes no one got an order. The burger was just horrible!

Lastly a poor experience. The meat was rough, hard to chew, dry, with a lot of fat, skin and tissue, as well the lettuce, seemed old. I will not eat here again.

All five of us agreed the burgers were awful, tasted like they were steamed, not fully cooked and strange texture. Fries, onion rings and shake were fine. But burgers should avoided. Just disgusting.

The fries and shake. Those were the only things good about it. The burger was made badly and it was poorly cooked. The juices from the meat were still there. I returned the food and asked for a newly cooked burger that was fully cooked. This new burger was only a tad bit more cooked than the last one. Being reassured by 3 of the staff members it was good I ate it. I now feel slightly nauseous from the burger. Apart from all that it was expensive with their "combos" not even being available unless you want a child's burger. Do not recommend even though I am a fan of JR.
