A definite 5 star! La Buena Barra has a multi level atmosphere with a sunset view! From beginning to end our visit was top notch. Enjoy their menu, adult beverages and service from a very accommodating and friendly staff.

Came here for my birthday without any reservations. The view and decor of the restaurant is great. The staff was excellent, they threw me an awesome birthday celebration with bday flares and a light up sign with my name on it. The food was great, it comes in large portions, definitely shareable. The food could use some more seasoning. The drinks were a little weak, definitely would have spent more if the drinks were stronger. Overall a fun celebration dining experience, love the music playlist.

Surprised and delighted by the experience and quality of food and drink here in Cancun. We went in March 2021 and they have built up many niche restaurants that attract a new kind of crowd to the area. Apothecary style drinks that are brought to you on a cart. And fresh food that is cooked right in front of you on a Himalayan salt slab, okay! Was definitely not expecting that. Food was delicious, staff was lovely, and the ambiance right on the water was breathtaking. They even do a light show on the water some nights. We had octopus, shrimp, rice and beans, tacos. and tons of other apps. We tried a few different crafted cocktails which were fresh and delicious.

Cannot say enough great things about this place. Not one complaint. Originally had plans on celebrating my old man’s birthday dinner elsewhere when the taxi driver recommended this place. 1. The food - phenomenal. We had surf and turf for two. Worth the money. 2. The service - I have not been to a more accommodating restaurant than this. 3. The atmosphere - a smooth combination of elegance and fun. 4. The entertainment - a great way to end the meal with dancers and sparklers. If you are ever in Cancun - spoil yourself and go to La Buena Barra.

The restaurant is just amazing. We met the owner by chance on a boat tour and he recommended the place! Best decision to go there. The food was amazing, the waiter are very friendly and professional. And the best things to try are the special cocktails. They all come in different glas and made in a unique way and the taste delicious! I definitely will come back and I will visit the other locations across Mexico too.

Gustatory delight at it’s finest. A bit pricey, but believe me every penny is more than worth it! Impeccable service. The staff makes sure to cater to your every needs. The meal begins with complimentary appetizer with tacos with made to perfection with a variety of six dips. While everything we tasted was amazing my absolute favorite is the chicharron de quezo and the cod ... done to perfection that I can only say I’m belly happy! Highly recommended to everyone and definitely coming back here if I’m in the area.

The Staff & Atmosphere were phenomenal. The Steak however was very bland for the price. Not enough seasoning. Could taste the mezcal very good but other than that, no flavor. The presentation on the other hand was 10/10 And the mashed potatoes 10/10

Upscale Mexican, very beautiful with a great atmosphere. Food needed a little more seasoning, and the drinks needed to be a little stronger, nice, but it didn't over deliver! It was about $50 USD

I recently visited La Buena Barra while traveling and decided to treat myself to a birthday meal here. The service was excellent—I felt like a top priority the entire time. The staff was attentive and made my birthday celebration special. The food was pretty good overall. I particularly enjoyed the variety of sauces that were brought to the table, which added a unique touch to the meal. The steak was well-prepared and flavorful, making it a highlight of my dining experience. However, I did have a couple of minor complaints. The mashed potatoes weren't hot, and the corn wasn't good at all. Despite these small issues, the overall experience was positive, especially with the special birthday treatment. Overall, La Buena Barra provided a good dining experience, and I would recommend it for its excellent service and tasty main dishes.

Great restaurant but overvalued in my opinion. Service was a little overwhelming and server was recomending only the most expencive dishes. Food was pretty good. Definetly a good place overall and solid 4. Carpacio was amaizing, octopus is great, tacos - average.
