Zurita Tacos

We’re super picky and we waited a long time to get 4 tacos. Because all the locals know better and order to pick up. We were getting irritated. But my oh my when we tasted the carne guisada tacos we were blown away. No where else have I ever had such great flavor. We were so impressed that we ordered more tacos to go. To eat Sunday. Since they are closed on Sunday. It’s the best I’ve ever had in Texas.

Yummy, fresh food for great prices. Breakfast tacos and plates were delicious! Friendly service, homemade salsa. The nachos plate is a huge mound of good stuff - perfect for 2 hungry friends as an entree or a whole table to snack on.

So good!! Love the salsas and love the home made tortillas. Or at least I think they are lol idk taste good af to me 🤣 Tacos were hot and ready within minutes. Will def be our new taco to go place sorry don chentes lol

Always have good experiences! Eaten here for 3 years. My co-workers and my favorite items are the swamp chicken(no sour cream cause it curdles) two soft beef tacos, large chips n queso. Mmm mmmm good! Always happy it's not monday(they're closed) so we can eat there when on that side of the lake!

Only drawback is they're SUPER busy! FOR A REASON! tacos are awesome from the bacon and egg to the carne guidada... We eat here almost once a week. beat tacos in Canyon Lake. Staff are always friendly and I can't EVER remember my order being wrong. Order ahead unless you're dining in. you won't regret eating here.

We are visiting Canyon Lake this weekend and were referred here by a local. He recommended the carne guisada with cheese and bean taco. We ordered other taco items as well. We absolutely loved our experience here. Madison and Laney were very patient with us as we couldn’t make up our minds. Romero was phenomenal at cooking and Ty did a great job at putting it together! I would have loved to make this a phone call but this review will work! Definitely recommend and we will be back!

We did take out tacos 🌮 on a Sunday morning from the walk up counter and they were fast, friendly and affordable. I liked the option to fill up our own fresh salsas in the handy to go containers. Let me tell you, the BACON 🥓 was a thicker sweeter smokier cut and the potatoes had a great seasoning. The tacos were made with REAL tortillas and we will definitely visit them again while we are here. I love tasty tacos and they just made my morning 🤩👏☀️

Really tasty affordable Mexican food fast service on the Northside of canyon lake. Crispy taco was yummy meat seasoned perfect fresh. Whole meal was less than 10. The atmosphere is perfect for lake goers. Recommend a stop.

The breakfast tacos at Mimas Tacos to go are delicious. You can pretty much create your own with a wide variety of meats (the chorizo sausage is delicious), eggs, cheese, veggies, etc. plus a small salsa bar to add any zing you might want. If breakfast is this good I’m sure lunch and dinner versions are great too! Great food, fast and friendly service.

Well done! Talk about good papas! The Kitchen sink is a GREAT deal. The bacon is crispy and the prices are very fair. They got our food to us pretty fast as well. I’ll definitely be returning my next time through town. Not great coffee... but the food is wonderful!

First the pros: The food is great! I have yet to find anything on their menu that wasn't great. The service is friendly. The place is always clean. The cons: They're only open a few evenings a week, so I don't get to go as often as I used to. That's it! If you're in the Canyon Lake Marina/Resort area, make the trip over. You won't regret your decision!

Update February 20, 2022: I tried the brisket bean and cheese and it is my new favorite. These tacos are consistently the best breakfast tacos in the area. Their tacos are delicious and a great value for the price. I like to mix and match, so to speak, so I ordered a potato, sausage, egg, and cheese taco. It was really good. My wife always orders bacon, egg, and cheese and loves them. The tortillas are great. Much to my disappointment they were out of pork guisada, so I ordered a papas rancheras, egg, and cheese. It did not disappoint, but their pork guisada is awesome. So I was still a little disappointed. If you like spicy salsa, their green salsa is the way to go. The place doesn't look like much from the outside and it's no frills, thus the 4 stars instead of 5. But the breakfast tacos 🌮 are excellent!

I tried the bean and cheese breakfast taco, super salty and I do like salt. So I figured maybe things didn’t go well that day, tried one again on another day..same super salt. I couldn’t eat more than one bite. I usually enjoy all their tacos. Fast service and clean.

The taco are good. They are not the biggest tacos, but they are good. The green sauce is real good. This place requires a face covering though. No mask? Well you can still order food but you have to wait outside to place your order. I will be returning just so I can sample some of their other dishes. One I do that, I can give another review.

The service is wonderful! All of the, what I am assuming, are high school kids are very polite and respectful. The food could be better, but their fresh homemade tortillas are the BEST. The only con I have is their hours, they seem to constantly change, and when they should be open sometimes they random close down early. I understand the from working in a restaurant about not wanting to lose money if no ones coming in but it seems to happen quite a lot without any form of notice.

They should stop hiring this high school girls. Yea, sure they're cute but they really don't know what they're doing. The cooks though, now they know what they're doing! They have great food! I probably won't go back for awhile because of the high school girls' mistakes. Oh well, they're not gonna miss just one customer, right?

Ordered 9 tacos yesterday and every one of them was extremely salty. Very disappointing. Plus they were extremely small.

Tortillas were great but breakfast tacos lacked in flavor. With so many options in the hill country for great tacos, this one was not worth the stop.

Tacos are alway good. The staff is always polite. But todays experience was not so good. I will just chalk it up to it is now run by a bunch of very polite yet young and inexperienced young people. I hope the owners enjoyed their weekend.

Went in to try for first time at 1030 on a Saturday. Asked for Nachos and was told that they were a lunch item and it was too early to order. I asked where they depicted that delineation and they just said that the owner wouldn't be ready to turn the kitchen over for lunch yet. The website doesn't specify that nachos are a lunch item nor does it say when there is time separation for breakfast or lunch. I was then told they had alot of orders and it would be awhile before my order would be ready. There is a sign that says something for online order pickups but there's no option like that on their website. Website hasn't been updated and prices on their websites are NOT what are listed inside the restaurant. Expect to pay more! Bad first impression, didn't order and walked out. Don't think we'll try.

Normally food is good, today got Piccadillo and was saturated in grease. You could squeeze the grease out of the tortilla. Paper bag was totally saturated with grease.
