I love that it is pet friendly and we could take our dog to the patio area to eat! The staff was so nice here. The food was delicious too!!! It is a smaller location so it is a bit cramped but it’s nice overall.

Took over as my favorite pizza place in SD. Just exudes laid back fun and cool. Like 10 high school kids running around working hard and being friendly, and couldn't tell who could possibly be in charge, but it was totally working! And Hazy IPA was great.

We come to Best Pizza & Brew often and it never disappoints! The pizza is always spot on, the wings are perfectly crispy, and their Greek salad is one of my absolute favorites—fresh, flavorful, and consistently delicious. I love pairing it with a glass of wine while my husband enjoys one of their beers on tap. It’s our go-to spot for a laid-back, satisfying meal. Great food, great vibes, and always a great time!

Listen. I thought the garlic knots would’ve been the highlight… then the pizza came (and so did I). AND THEN I GOT A HAT WITH A FREE SLICE, OR THE OTHER WAY AROUND BUT YOU GOTTA STOP IN FOR A SLICE. You won’t regret it!

Came here during my vacation and very nice atmosphere. I grabbed their 2 slice and soda combo. Came here twice and both times I had their meat lovers (for the 2nd rotated between their combo pizza and one called margarita or something like that). Pizza crust is nice and toasted even when grabbed from their display (meaning good ovens). Drink wise I tried their IPA (called “the best IPA” ironically) which I can say is one of the best ones I’ve had, so lives up to the two imo. Lastly I had calamari as well because I’m a sucker for that and it was hot and tasted fresh so I’ll assume their fryer was nice and with clean oil. Overall I recommend this spot if you want a fun evening with pizza and drinks.

We hit every dive bar and greasy spoon along the way and I enjoy sharing them with you. Perched on a bluff overlooking the bright blue Pacific Ocean in Cardiff by the Sea sits a restaurant bold enough to call themselves "Best Pizza and Brew." It sits right on the coast highway and there is plenty of safe parking, indoor seats, and bar seating. They also have patio and tent dining. The vibe and the tunes are laid back and happy, it feels like I am eating on the beach, the staff and customers are happy and friendly everyone is casually dressed most in beach attire. Best pizza and beer though? Beer and pizza are specialties of mine with decades of research on both. I went with pepperoni and sausage slices and a fresh IPA. The combination of the festive mood, crisp hoppy beer and New York style thin crust were near perfect. To me a pizza really starts with the crust and these guys are on point. The beer and pizza slices ran me $15 and that is about right. Best Pizza and Beer is a bold statement and these guys clearly stand by that. I will return again for sure.

Came to eat at our favorite old fish taco place and found this place had moved in. Pizza! We can roll with that. Pizza crust is New York style, thin, nice crunch and excellent tooth! Ordered a bunch of different slices, every single one was excellent, you can’t go wrong. Great atmosphere, nice ocean breeze coming through big garage door windows. Friendly staff. House ranch is excellent, little extra dill, very nice. The wings were horrendous! Couldn’t eat half of them and we NEVER leave food. They were dry and hollow, I think they fried them to hades and back again, looks like some of them exploded in the fryer. The hot buffalo sauce was good, the asian sauce was terrible. Soooo, order a couple slices, enjoy a beer and take in that ocean breeze.

Okay slice, would be better if the doah wasn't so chewy. Price for any slice of $4.75 could be more competitive, but the ingredients selection is better than average. Best slice deal would be just before closing time.

Ordered pizza for delivery and was caught off guard when the "margarita" pizza didn't have any sauce on it. I double checked the description and it doesn't say it comes with sauce but also doesn't say it is a sauce-less pizza. A standard margherita pizza has red sauce, mozzarella and basil. Regardless of the unconventional take, it was a bad pizza. Cheese was dry and without sauce the whole pizza was dry. Basil was shredded and dry also. Bad pizza. Tried calling to let them know the pizza was below my expectations but they also didn't answer the phone. Would not recommend. Will not order again.
