Jonathan and London were PERFECT, friendly and explained everything to us first timers. The food, OMG it was phenomenal! We had the brisket, turkey, pulled pork and ribs (we were starving). Loved all three of the sauces too. Cannot wait to come back!

When I found out one was opened up near where we live now here in Louisiana I had to stop by and boy, was I not disappointed! The brisket was juicy and cooked perfectly, and the sides were done right! I know they have a lot of negative reviews due to them just opening and trying to get everything straight, but for only being open a couple of weeks or so they sure hit a home-run with their bbq today and will be back this Sunday for more!

The two employees working today 2/23 went above and beyond for me. It was my first visit and the could obviously see the confused look on my face. They guided me through the menu and I ended up with exactly what I wanted . One of there names was javinoe or something. I know it started with a J the needed recognized for there effort and positive attitudes! Ill def be back!! Oh they need a radio up in there. It was aulwardly quiet lol

The food was amazing, my son’s chicken was so flavorful and moist, our brisket was perfectly seasoned. The portions were massive and the customer service was phenomenal. 10/10 recommend and will be back.

I’m not sure how anyone else feels about DICKEY*S but me and my crew don’t have any complaints! The first time we came to Lafayette it was a really nice African American lady help us with our order. And let’s just say her customers service was SIMPLE AMAZING! She took her time and explained the menu and also gave recommendations and everything she recommends was amazing. It was so good here we are back again 3 months later and now we had the pleasure with dealing with a young man named Ali. Not only was the food good his customers service was just as good. Although the helper (same person on both visits ) wasn’t as out spoke. He was real nice as well! Our order did come out a little messed up. But being that it is Father’s Day we completely understand. Ali corrected all eras in a speedy way and for that we were thankful. No worriers we will be back the next time we are in the area!

Delicious food. Kids eat free on Sunday! My only complaint that made our meal a little cumbersome was that there is no diaper changing stations in the bathrooms at all. We had to juggle children while my husband changed him in the back of the van. We’re used to doing it but it was inconvenient.

I ordered the 3 meat plate, Beef brisket, pulled pork, beef brisket chopped. The food was Hot and tasted great, the serivce was good. But I was missing meat. I only eneded up with two meats, not three like I paid for. But the food was good. I just hope in the Future when I order they can count up to three 🤣🤣. In the end it was worth a 25 min drive. Good Choices in food Items. Online ordering made it fast and easy to get my order.

For the price of a 2 meat plate I would of liked to have a little more meat. Meat was cold when we received plates. Music is horrible. But food tasted good

Not enough seasoning for my taste, that could be me, but the food temp Mac & cheese along with the three meats were barely warm I had to wait for my frys they said they would bring them and you guessed it when I reminded them they were warm. Also soft serve machine wasn't working

The food was good, once we finally got to eat it. Made the mistake of trusting things were in order by count of containers. When we got the food home, we are missing the okra and 2 meats from the three meat plate. The associate on the phone asked me to bring all the food back instead of giving me credit for next time since I live 17 minutes away by road. When I got there, they were out of oakra and the ribs my daughter ordered. Had to decide to keep the baked beans. We replaced the ribs with pulled pork. Again the food was good, but I think on a Sunday they should have more people working and be sure to be prepared for a dinner rush and not be out of everything I originally wanted. I got chicken plate because they were out of brisket. Asked about the Mac and cheese sausage they were out of that too. I will probably try again on a week night, just because the food was good. But just a note as a fellow customer service person, expect busy times and be prepared. Review before handing out, that the orders match what was taken.

I used to love this place, but it is not the same as it once was. I got my husband to pick up my order, a brisket sandwich and beans. The brisket was 50% nasty, greasy globs of fat. It was not edible. The beans were still okay, but no where as good as they used to be. Even the bun tasted like old grease. I will never eat from there again. At the prices they charge, the food should be a hell of a lot better.

The service I received was very upsetting. The staff was unwelcoming and rude. Being that it was my husband and I first time, we inquired about some items on the menu. The young lady was very rude to us and her words were short like she really didn't want to serve us. When our order was up, my brisket was cold as if it had been in the refrigerator and my husband ribs were warm. I immediately addressed the issue and the young lady at the register said it just came off the pit, which I knew was a lie. I asked her to warm my sandwich. She did and came back with a cold sandwich again. I was so out done. It was like she disregarded what I said and brought back the same sandwich. At this point I'm furious but I simply told her my expectations and asked her to warm the sandwich again. She came back with a warm sandwich this time. The mash potatoes was sour.I gave this place a 2 because the brisket and ribs and the macaroni was good but it was very very poor service and none of the food was hot. The second customer that came in and ordered the brisket sandwich as well and her sandwich was cold and asked the young lady to warm her sandwich again. The customer mentioned to me that the Lafayette location is the one she usually go to but she was in this area. She advised me to go to the Lafayette location. She said, "they even sliced the meat in front of you. " I will try that location next time but I won't ever go here when I have a taste for Barbecue.

Ordered online for pickup. Some of the meats, sides and bread options were not available. Food was available for pickup when promised. Ordered two...two meat plates which came with two sides with each plate. Ordered pulled pork and sliced brisket for both plates. We were given chopped brisket instead of sliced as ordered . The chopped brisket was pretty much inedible as it was mostly chewy fat. The pulled pork was pretty good. The macaroni and bbq bean sides were good. Overall not a good first impression for a new business in the area. The one positive note is that the staff working were all friendly.

My wife and I ordered two plates for pick up a few days ago... pulled pork, brisket, and two sides each. Our order was ready about 15-20 minutes later than what was promised. When I got home, and we sat down to eat... the bread in both plates was hard like a rock. The sides didn't seem to be as much as had at other places. Both the pulled pork, and the sliced brisket (basically shredded) were about 30-40% fat. There isn't much of a choice in dessert options. The ones that they did have, tasted like something you would buy from a gas station and were so tightly wrapped in plastic wrap, you basically had to destroy the dessert to get to it. Just FYI - If we ever do dine in, an ice cream machine (as at other places) would be nice option to have to choose from. I know this particular place was just opened recently, but as many times as we've been to Dickey's (Lafayette), and enjoyed the food... this experience at this location was a letdown.

Ordered turkey, spinach and green beans. Spinach was out of stock, I understand supply chain issues. The turkey was so dry it was barely edible. I was in a hurry to get back to work and the service was SO SLOW. I was very disappointed in the entire experience. I've eaten at the Dickeys by Costco in Lafayette and it was slow as well. I was very unsatisfied with the very dry turkey plate and will probably not be back.

So disappointed. Did an online order for pickup. Only had Dr Pepper to drink, nothing else. Barely any sides, all they had were beans and potatoes. Brisket was tough, not tender at all. Huge disappointment.

I ordered 10 wings, fries, colesaw, and drink. $25 + 10% tip. The wings were worst I've ever had... Tuff and chewy. Honestly, stopped eating after 2. I sent email as requested and no response from you. I won't stop making others aware until resolved

Employee was closing up over an hr before closing time. Removed the tea, ladle for bbq sauce, etc. She had no change. Was working alone. Pulled pork sandwich was cold & barely had any meat on it. No ice cream, pickles, onions at all. She gave us bbq sauce already in sm containers. Said mine was sweet one, but was spicy. Which I discovered after putting on my sandwich. Ruined it. Prices up, serving sizes down. Won’t go back.

Terrible. First time going, went despite the bad reviews, don’t be like me, LISTEN TO THE REVIEWS. Ordered online yet still had to wait 10 minutes for them to prepare my food. Got home, food was cold had to heat in microwave. Was missing pickles and onions despite being charged extra. Looked at receipt and despite changing tip amount to $2, was charged $6.44 tip. Ordered two brisket meals, one meal had about half the meat of the other. Way overpriced and will not be going back.

Horrible !!!!!! Ordered online the cashier at the store called me and said they were out of the brisket I ordered. So I told her to replace it with ribs. She called back about two minutes later to tell me that they were out of ribs also. I told her to just cancel the order. She said she couldn’t because it was an online order. I went to the app and there is no way to cancel the order. So I’m screwed right? Went to store asked to see a manager , there was no manager there. So my only choices was to get meat I didn’t want and when I got it all home I opened the boxes and you could tell some of it t was cut off bad pieces. NEVER again not in Carencro anyway. I’m done!!!!!

There are mom and pop place in carencro/lafayette that give whole chick thighs & sausages/rice dressing included before the two side. Service: 5⭐️s very good Automated tip: -4⭐️s this is the 1 star rating. I do not like non authorized spending at all. The tip was less than 5$, but i made a to-go order where i usually just tip 5$ unless 20% is more than that, then ill do that amount. .. So they shorted themselves a bit as well.

So the whole BBQ thing at Dickies is a lie. I got the 3 meat plate. The kilbassa sausage tasted like Vienna sausage. The ribs had a ok taste but they were way over baked. The "brisket" if that's what it was was so bad, I gave it to my dog. The next morning my dog was gone. He ran away because he figured I was trying to kill him. Talk about a small white piece of rubber. The guy that took my order didn't say not 1 word to me, like I was bothering him. I know he wasn't busy as I was the only one in the place. What a disgrace to bbq

This place has gradually gotten worse. The baked potato was raw, like hard and crunchy. They also charged $17 for four tiny ribs. NEVER AGAIN. I can’t wait to see what they replace this spot with… hopefully, sooner than later.

My sales team and management staff were in the mood for Dickey's today so we tried to call in a pick up order. We needed 10 orders the 2 meats/2 sides specials. I provided names so it would be easier to tell whose food belonged to each person. I asked them to call me back because I know it was going to take a while to put all of these plates together and they had other customers to serve already on site. After an hour I called back to see if the order was ready because I didn't receive a call to find it was. Upon picking up the food, there were some sides missing, no BBQ sauce was put in the bag. A year ago, this would all be checked and corrected prior to pick up. For this order to cost $168 for 10 people, I would have expected this to be a little better. Opelousas is getting more food options now so it's going to be a very long time before we consider giving patronage here again.

This location was already on our X list, but today we decided we would give a second chance and again we were very very disappointed . We walked in to no greet at all, there was another couple in front of us who were having trouble deciding so they signaled us to go ahead. As I was saying my order I was rudely cut off by the employee saying it was not my turn. We stood there for a good 15 minutes and still we could not order while the employees played with the phone and took FaceTime calls, that’s when we decided to just walk out and we will never be going back . Horrible service !!

The sausage was so dry . The chicken was moist and actually pretty good . Overall I was able to get about 3 bites of brisket . I was constantly spitting out the brisket because it was rubbery . I brought the brisket back to complain and they said OH ! $28 never going back

Last time I was here I bought nine extra barbecue sauces that have less than a teaspoon of sauce in each one. I literally dumped six of them on my sandwich and it wasn’t enough to run the sandwich when I took a bite. When I asked them for more sauce, it didn’t go very smoothly. I tried to explain to them that the cups are fairly enough to wet the bottom of the cup And it’s like they could not understand what I was saying. I am all for hiring special needs and slow people, but we should at least have a manager overlooking them. I am in line right now and three people have pulled up behind me and drove away while I was waiting on my food. So once again, please help before we lose this delicious place.

The PREVIOUS employee was amazing but he quit and now i see why. I’ve been a regular at this location, but after today, I’m DONE. From the start, the manager was extremely rude, which came as a shock. The door sign clearly stated kids eat free on Sundays. I ordered two adult brisket sandwich combos, expecting both of my children’s meals to be free. At checkout, the total was high. When I asked, the manager admitted she’d been “forgetting” to apply the deal. But instead of apologizing, she became RUDE, as if it was my fault. Later, I politely mentioned to an employee that the portions were noticeably smaller than before. I didn’t ask for extra food. I had already brought my meals to the car! I only wanted to bring the portion size to their attention. Shockingly, the manager loudly shouted across the store, telling me if I didn’t like it, I didn’t have to come back. That behavior is unprofessional and embarrassing. I’ve never been treated so poorly over something so simple. Unfortunately, I won’t be returning
