Very great service the young gentleman was very courteous. I ordered chips and nacho cheese and two rice bean and cheese burritos. Really the burritos tasted great I think the combination with the sauce makes it very tasty.

Manager is real nice. Staff is funny and cool. And their chicken is awesome. I drive from Vista to order their chicken. Keep up the good work.

This is a KFC in Carlsbad that also serves Taco Bell. The food here is great. They have many deals, where are you can get a $5 meal which is right up my alley, especially when you have kids. I prefer the seven-layer burrito on the Taco Bell side. The staff are courteous and friendly. The restaurant is clean and well organized. However the parking lot is limited.

Pre-Ordering from out of town. Website said "within 7 days of event". Ok. Time came. Tried to place extra large pick up order for a special memorial occasion. Stressful ordering process, but everything came out great in the end. The website was great for figuring out prices and ordering-- but then advance payment couldn't be processed. Phone ordering wasn't the same menu or prices as Website... but we worked it out. Extremely stressful when they insisted full or partial payment couldn't be made over the phone, and 1/2 had to be paid in person the day BEFORE the event. Not physically possible, so I recruited a local guest to go and pay in my place. When he got there, he was told it wasn't necessary to pay anything after all. I paid in full the next day, 2 hours before the event time--and confirmed the order with the Manager. Everything came out perfectly, and food was great as usual. Just wish it would have been easier to have everything prearranged and prepaid. It's too stressful to have food for 30+ people be unconfirmed until the last minute! Promotional Membership on the KFC corporate website turned out to be a useless waste of time. HOWEVER---ALL STAFF at this Carlsbad location, at 4 different times, were exceptionally friendly and accommodating... This place is always freezing, they keep the ac on even when it's 50 degrees outside, it's rediculas.

Well first off this is a hybrid KFC. This place is also a Taco Bell, and a franchise location. I wanted to pick up a $30 fill up with chicken instead of the tenders like I could on the app and was told no. So the chicken I was given, was not completely original like I wanted, and some was old and crispy. The fries tasted old and I was so not pleased. Be ware when going b to this location.

Bad place. Sticky bathroom floors, dirty tables, trash on floor and flaky employees. Got my order wrong on top of it all. The 5-7 times I've been here it's been the same problems

I ordered 8 chicken pieces and 8 chicken tenders. There are no chicken tenders when I got home. I tried to call the store but it was always busy. The phone doesn’t work.

I want to start off by saying I don't recommend this KFC. If you want chicken goto popeyes, I asked for a spicy chicken sandwich and they put some spicy Mayo on it and a bunch of regular Mayo on it. I asked for extra pickles and they only gave me a few pickles and they were super soggy. The sandwich is a dollar more at kfc and 10 times worse. Do yourself a favor and goto popeyes. As far as KFC's go maybe this one is okay but not good

update September 18th 2022 this update regards the lobby of KFC / Taco Bell. I'm very concerned about the black mold that is growing on the ceiling tiles in the lobby where you eat your food. If they have not addressed this water leak long enough for black mold to grow it makes me very wonder what else they are not taking care of behind the scenes. If you're the manager of this store I would hope you would address this safety issue as black mold is not healthy for anyone please see photos of the mold. Was pleased to know they took EBT

This is the closest KFC/Taco Bell near my Family & I. The food is OK usually & the staff is OK but the dinning room & bathrooms are Not the cleanest!!! My Family & I hate using the rest from we only like to at least wash our hands.

We ordered a 12 piece meal to take to the beach. They asked if we wanted plates and we said yes. He asked if we wanted dipping sauce and we asked for ranch. The guy handed us our bag and said, “okay you’re all set!” And we left, got to the beach, and there were no plates. We also had no butter or honey packs to go with our biscuits, and no ranch.

Besides that and they are horrible at customer service and I wish I could say I enjoy all of my food but something always seems to be missing. So now I have to check everything where there's a cookie or a chicken little. I usually come to this location at night and they do not have many items on the menu. They are to lazy to cook at night that is a very bad service! The usually tell you that it would be a 10- 15 minute wait depending on the item they try to discourage you to order.

Slow service and bad quality. When we pulled up to the drive thru we were told that they would "be right with us", 5 minutes later I hesitantly said "hello?". The guy working apologized and took our order but he honestly sounded like he forgot that he had a line of people waiting to order at the speaker... When we got our food it was sad. Stale over toasted biscuits, and the chicken tenders looked like they had been cut in half and split up into our boxes as if they were running out and didn't want to make more. One of my tenders was just a tiny little piece of breading about the size of my pinky. It also took 20 minutes to get our food. Never once were we offered an apology or anything. The four young men at the drive thru window were all just standing around talking too. Even for 5 bucks a piece I feel like I wasted my money.

Sign/online says they close at 12:00 so it kind of sucks to arrive 50 minutes before closing to find everything shut down early and the staff joking inside only to hide when they see me pull up. Stopped by here on the way home from LA. First things first: restrooms need to be cleaned! The door handle was moldy and looked like it hasn't been cleaned in ages. Tables weren't kept clean as well. Customer service needs improvement--no plates given for a take-out order of a bucket meal, no offers for any sauce or ketchup when they didn't have any stock out. I asked for a cup of water for a family member who wanted water and the employee looked hesitant to give me a cup and emphasized that it was "for water only." We bought drinks and just wanted an extra cup for water and they were almost not willing to give one.

I drove up to the drive thru today 7-21-22 at 2:30pm and I ordered the 12 pc meal only to be told that I had to wait 30 minutes for my chicken. This is absurd you should have plenty of chicken and should not have customers wait 30 minutes for chicken. 10 minutes I can maybe understand but 30 minutes is very unprofessional

I ordered and 8 peice grilled, they didnt have it. Had to get fried. I asked for plates and napkins and extra forks, they forgot them all that. And on top of it they didn't put the lid on the gravy and coleslaw so it dumped inside the bag everywhere.

Horrible service each time at this location. They are always impatient at the drive thru while ordering and they are terribly slow. This is not “fast food” by any means. This evening I ordered corn, paid for corn but did not receive my corn. Haven't had KFC in over 10 years, stopped by this location on my walk back from the beach, and made the mistake of ordering food. The 'Georgia Gold' meal I ordered took 15 mins to make (I was one of two customers inside) and was covered in what I originally thought was honey mustard, ended up being grease. Now I know why I avoided KFC for so long.

I ate-in with a friend at the Carlsbad KFC. 1. 5 tables were dirty w/ crumbs and spilled drinks. 2. I asked for someone to clean mine and the person came by with a wet rag and spread everything around on the table leaving it wet. Very unsanitary to me yeah my friend. I went over and I got a bunch of paper towels and dried it off. This same person cleaned several of the other tables leaving the crumbs on the seats and even some on the same tables using the same rag. Clean? No. Did they care? No. 3. As I was leaving right outside the window was a dog doing its Duty. And as old dogs do, they try to walk away while doing the Duty. Duty= #2. The dog waddled back to it's home territory which was a bookstore next door to KFC. Did I say anything? No. Am I going back there? Probably not. Not unless it's to tell the management of their daily dog problem. And in the "wonderful town" of Carlsbad!!

I have never had them make so many errors on simple orders. This time I ordered their potpie and there were chicken bones in it. Always check your order before you leave. Even if you ask for butter, honey or any other condiment, check to make sure it's in there & your meal is what you ordered. I've also been shorted items in the past. Though I've always loved KFC, they've gone downhill. Now I only go when I have a craving for KFC.

The workers here were so rude, and have gotten my order wrong literally every time I have come here. I was using the restroom and an employee came and pounded on the door after literally 3 minutes. I shouldn't have because I was completely in the right but I felt so embarrassed. I always make sure to do the surveys everywhere I go and we're so glad that KFC had one on the receipt. I would never recommend this place to anyone and only walk in this establishment now if I'm about to pee my pants and there is nowhere else to go.

This is the first time I had a bad experience at a KFC branch. The place was messy and disorderly. All the tables were dirty and some of the chairs were dirty with food crumbs. The restroom was really unkempt. The trash was overflowing with garbage with some of them already on the floor. The customer service was terrible too. We bought a bucket meal and was only given 4 small sachets of ketchup. And when we asked for some more we were only given 4 more. We asked for water cups for water and was commented rudely by a staff that it was only for water. That's basically why we asked for water cups in the first place.

I ordered a meal with a drink and as soon as I paid she said oh sorry only tea is available. I said why didn’t you tell me prior to paying and she replies oh sorry…. I said ok no problem can I get a refund on the drink portion. And she said sorry no there is no discount on that. She then proceeded to say next guest and that was the end of it. The other employees in the back were just looking up front at me with a blank stare, no initiative to assist. Unacceptable service.

We love KFC, its always busy so other people obviously love it too. I’m glad it has survived staying open through the pandemic since many other local restaurants did not. Unfortunately its service and food are struggling, not sure if the employees hate working there but they are mean and rude, and the food you can tell is poor quality and just not the same. Colonel Sanders would be embarrassed of the rock hard biscuit I got today, and the watery mash potatoes. 😖 I hope someone in corporate reads this and fixes the issue, so we can get back to delicious food and happy service like before.

This was the worst KFC I ever had! To start, the service was extremely slow. I walked in. Apparently I should have gone through the drive through because they had no problem getting their orders quickly. My main gripe here is the quality of the chicken. I ordered the family meal which isn't cheap. When I eat KFC, I expect the KFC special recipe flavor that I've been accustomed to since I was a little boy, 40 + years ago. This chicken had almost nonflavor. It was Like they forgot the special seasoning. I'm so disappointed. It will be a long time before I think about trying KFC again. The saying that comes to mind is, all good things come to an end. Something I see all too often. Sad.

I ordered a meal with a drink and as soon as I paid she said oh sorry only tea is available. I said why didn’t you tell me prior to paying and she replies oh sorry…. I said ok no problem can I get a refund on the drink portion. And she said sorry no there is no discount on that. She then proceeded to say next guest and that was the end of it. The other employees in the back were just looking up front at me with a blank stare, no initiative to assist. Unacceptable service.

We love KFC, its always busy so other people obviously love it too. I’m glad it has survived staying open through the pandemic since many other local restaurants did not. Unfortunately its service and food are struggling, not sure if the employees hate working there but they are mean and rude, and the food you can tell is poor quality and just not the same. Colonel Sanders would be embarrassed of the rock hard biscuit I got today, and the watery mash potatoes. 😖 I hope someone in corporate reads this and fixes the issue, so we can get back to delicious food and happy service like before.

Long wait bad service. Saturday pulled up to the drive up line at in 5:50 ordered at 6:05 got food at 6:35 ..pay window was closed ...waited a total of 45 minutes..they forgot the gravy for the mashed potatoes...been a regular customer... called manager ...very disappointed...they lost a good customer today....I would avoid this location if I were you! I counted 3 people visible working on a Saturday night! I live and work here this should never happen.

This is the first time I had a bad experience at a KFC branch. The place was messy and disorderly. All the tables were dirty and some of the chairs were dirty with food crumbs. The restroom was really unkempt. The trash was overflowing with garbage with some of them already on the floor. The customer service was terrible too. We bought a bucket meal and was only given 4 small sachets of ketchup. And when we asked for some more we were only given 4 more. We asked for water cups for water and was commented rudely by a staff that it was only for water. That's basically why we asked for water cups in the first place.
