Ok so my regular dish now is the plate or bigger plate. Noodles, terriyaki chicken, beef and broccoli, and mushroom chicken. Honestly with prices rising for basic fast food its better to get a full meal from Panda. Fast efficient service, sit down tables and rest room. Time to enjoy a meal again.

The panda in carlsbad has the highest food quality of any panda I've been to. You can just tell huge difference the colors of the vegetables are so bright and beautiful. Everything cooked to perfection no fatty cuts of meat no greasy noodles seriously the freshest best panda I've had. This is my new go to spot beyond happy with my experience there great there.

I just want to say that I'm so overjoyed that this Panda Express location offers Beyond Orange Chicken, and honestly I've almost been coming here weekly, for the past 6 weeks or so, since I first found out about it. We actually have 3 Panda Express locations closer to home but none of them offer it, and so I had no idea it was "back", per se, and only found out via random search. Thank you so much and please keep it on the menu!!! Honestly, this particular location really does a great job overall, especially considering the large crowds at times. Given the more than reasonable pricing, Panda Express is pretty hard to beat.

I ordered half Chow Mein and half fried rice, but THER WAS NO CHOW MEIN!!!

Every time we come here the portion sizes get smaller. I had to wait 10 minutes for the special steak dish because there wasn't a single piece of steak left in the container. 80% of the container is rice. The entrees get smaller every time. This is a clear example of corporate price goughing.

I think it probably needs more training. Normally I have a good experience, but this time all of the food was not up to par. I had one piece of tofu and the eggplant tofu there was hardly any sauce on my Szechuan beef. The noodles were dry and old the wonton was cold and raw can you imagine the dough was still raw? It was fried, but it was raw. The eggrolls were cold inside. They were fried on the outside, but they were cold on the inside. I think I will wait till this place gets trained or more experience. The manager on duty did not fix the problem.

I came from East County El Cajon when I was searching Google maps told me there is panda express 3 miles away. The road came over. It was not busy. I stop by the cashier he said do you wanna grab one of those egg roll chicken or vegetable? I said yeah give me four of them and then he said your cost 22.60 $.40 but he didn’t do it. He didn’t even get your Usually they have automatic machine the change it will come out. It didn’t come out. I didn’t say anything grab my food and go out I’m not talking about $.40. It’s nothing I’m talking about right he’s not supposed to tell me your change, but he didn’t and I didn’t ask him back took my food and go out usually sometimes the one in El Cajon city. He will ask you if you wanna donate the $.40 or whatever left but this didn’t say anything so where the $.40 go and why he put exactly 23 on the receipt

I generally really like Panda Express but this is definitely the worst one I’ve been to. The building and atmosphere area totally fine and the staff was nice and efficient as is typically the case with Panda, so no problems there. However, the food was quite a bit oilier than usual and not nearly as tasty. The worst part was the crappy paper straw that dissolved after 5 minutes and the terrible wooden fork they give you that makes it very difficult to eat your oily food. I’ve never had either of those at any other Panda Express I’ve been to and I won’t be returning to this location.

Should have just left then and there and staff wouldn't have even noticed. No greeting or anything when entering, staff were too busy preparing orders (possibly for catering?). This was before 11 AM as well when it should be completely dead and while there were only a couple people inside staff looked busy but also we're extremely slow paced and I stood first in line for 5 minutes without even being acknowledged. Finally when it was my turn staff were terrible listeners. This location is super weird. It's big inside, but that is the best thing going for it and the only good thing really. Then when I asked for a bowl I got a box and not a bowl. When asking for utinsils I got a cheap wooden fork. I don't know if they have to do this because it's Carlsbad or something, but no other Panda express does this, even in Encinitas and Del Mar. The food is not worth the price at all. Staff was slow and clueless and lacked any sense of priority. Overall the worst panda express I've been to and I asked for a refund.

I found a piece of hair in my food. I did the survey, but it only asked for an email to send me a coupon. What I want is a refund, not a coupon.

At this location I kept asking how long for my food after 20 minutes and they kept saying it was coming right up. It didn't and I'd ask again and again they would say it's coming right up. But again it wouldn't and I waited 45 minutes, that's pretty ridiculous for a restaurant that has many items pre-made.

Look, I get I’m being served an inexpensive meal. That said, I believe that most customers would hope the food served from this location would at least have some flavor. Can’t count how many times I’ve returned after a while, only to be disappointed yet again. Bland and tasteless. It doesn’t matter the selection, it all tastes the same. Noodles, chicken and green beans, flavorless. I’ve given this spot more chances hoping for something different. There in may be my folly. Expecting something they just can’t deliver. Not to mention, they always seem to be out of food that is pretty much a common offering such as beef with broccoli, every visit. Never again!
