Chicken and pastor tacos were awesome. Fish tacos were a pass. Salsa bar was really great as well. Fast service.

If you're plant based or vegan you're going to love this place. Try the Veggie Burrito. It's humongous! Very very tasty and nice selection of salsas for crispy chips. Meat lovers will love this place too. There's umbrella tables outside for great people watching on the main drag a couple blocks from the beach.

Somehow; tucked inside this little old building from the 50's and sharing the space with an Amazing Artisan ice creamery lies a surprisingly tasty Mexican wizard of magical South of the border eats. Yeah its really good dude. And then I spilled all the extra salsa on my lap and had to eat my ice-cream from next door while walking up the street with salsa drizzle trickling down my shorts. 😆 🤣 😂 😹

We were in the area and decided to give this place a shot. So glad we did because the birria torta & birria tacos were delicious!. The sauces were really good too but the spicy ones might be a little too much for some. The portions were a good size & the price was good. Service was awesome & we enjoyed it so much that we stopped by a second time before heading back home. Will definitely be coming back! Thank you for a pleasant experience 🙂

Great tacos! I love their outdoor seating area as well. They also have a huge cart full of salsas, onions, cilantro, & much more!! This is a great priced quick and easy lunch spot.

When I come to Carpinteria I always stop at least ones to enjoy the casual atmosphere and the good salsa bar they have for their street tacos. Service is friendly and quick and the tacos fresh.

Classic, straightforward tacos. The meats I tried, lengua and carnitas were tasty, but the fish wasn't great. Super inexpensive and great salsas, I'd totally come back to try the rest of the meats.

Tacos are kind of small, but you should expect it because of their small price. If you get tacos, make sure you get at least 3 and if you want something really filling, I would recommend the asada quesadilla. It is huge and really good. The male cashier that I had was really nice. Also, if it feels like they skipped your order, then it's likely they probably did. Kindly walk up to the kitchen and show them your receipt and they will make your food no questions asked.

Great place for a quick toco, other then that the flavor is lacking, needs a bit more spice. They do have an excilent salsa bar if you want to add flavor that way. was a bit dirty could use a updating as far as looks. Still a great place to stop by for fresh food and a quick bite.

The place seems nice, clean, just very plain in the inside. I purchased 14 street carne asada tacos and two family size rice and beans for $45. The rice and beans needed more seasoning. The salsa bar is great. Many options.

The food is pretty good and the guy who works the counter is friendly. Unfortunately, it is not at all accessible for wheelchair users or anyone with mobility issues. Getting a stroller through would also be a challenge.

Ordered super (= sour cream and pico de gallo added) steak burrito with no rice and light beans. Got tons of rice, very little steak, and no sour cream. It did have pico de gallo and light beans tho. No flavor at all, mostly just rice. I do not recommend this place.

We didn't enjoy our breakfast. Not as good as we expected. Plus the waiter was on his cell phone and remained on his call for about 20 minutes. His phone was on speaker the entire time. While he served our beverages and our food. We will not be returning there again.

The portions are small. For about $12 we ordered the chicken, pastor, and fish tacos and a side of guacamole. The chicken and pork were minced and dry and had little flavor. The fish tasted better than the meat. Tacos come as meat on two small corn tortillas with salsas and garnishes (cabbage and cilantro and onion mostly) on the side. Incredibly small portions of garnish and salsa for the three tacos we ordered. Salsas were green and red and very thin and watery. Guacamole is good with tomatoes and cilantro. Food is not spicy at all. We did not try the chips. Limited seating which may improve soon.

Poor portions, ingredients, and always greasy. Their saving grace is they are open later than all other Mexican restaurants in town. Ordered chicken tacos with bell peppers and onions last night. Each wet dripping greasy taco came with a tiny 1/4 x 1/4 inch bell pepper and no onions. I had to wring out the corn tortilla before eating it. Thanks for reminding me Don Roge why I don't eat here. Try Oaxaca next door or even better Beach Liquor for Mexican food. This place isn't worth it.

My daughter ordered two carne asada tacos, rice and beans. The rice and beans was $3.75 each for a small portion. $15.46 for a mediocre taco plate. Will skip it next time.

Very very sad , their bathroom has no toilette seat papers and NO water or soap to wash your hands. When I asked please to get me TSP, the rude reply we have none and also no water and soap !!!!! Pretty sad , cashier clearly smoking . I wonder if they have no soap nor water in their bathroom , how clean is this kitchen !

What a waist of money is this place, the food is horrible, the salsa bar is pure onion and a few horrible salsa’s 🤮, no guacamole for kids, everything is so expensive and very disgusting, the white stinky tortilla makes the dish ever worse 🤢 Don’t come to this place!, it’s only a waist of time and money

Bland food - rice & beans were flavorless and without salt. It took over fifteen minutes to receive two burritos. The salsa bar is not open due to COVID-19 protocol. Service is very cheerful and friendly.

Tacos are the worst I’ve ever had in my life. They were all fat. This place is just horrible waste $35 when o could have gotten better food at Taco Bell for less money. Food was disgusting 🤮

I’m shocked this place has a high rating. I ordered the veggie tacos. The filling consisted of tiny cubes of squash, bell peppers and carrots that were raw. That’s all. They were cold to the touch. My boyfriend got a breakfast burrito that was warm (the only positive) but when he got a few bites in he chomped down on a huge piece of egg shell. Disgusting

The super burrito was disappointingly bland. Despite ordering it with steak, it was overwhelmingly filled with rice and beans, with just a few tiny pieces of meat barely noticeable.

I went in today during the avocado festival. And they over charged us for our food. The prices were rise without them telling us. As we were eating we were going to ask and all of the sudden they started covering the regular prices to higher. I think that is not right. They over charged us without notice. When we placed our order the prices were at their regular prices. And all of the sudden they were covering the regular prices with higher prices.

We came in there extra hungry, asked for no rice in our burritos and we got plenty of rice and no beans and no sour cream. The cashier never warned us. Integrity is huge. I would never go back there.
