The spot to be at in downtown Carrollton. Hang with all the locals and enjoy some good food. The food here is always solid as well as the bourbon list! The smoked chicken wings are out of this world even without sauce! They even have quite the selection of local breweries on tap. If you are wanting to watch your favorite sports team, this is the place to be if you want to hang out with some friends and eat some good food. One of my favorite spots in DFW metroplex.

I don't often post reviews but last night warranted it. On Thanksgiving night, the bartenders, Casey and Avery, really stepped up when they didn't need to be there or be there that late. On a day that they could've spent time with their own families, they took the best care of us and I hope they saw our appreciation. Being a regular, I see them work hard often but the commitment to not just the regulars but the random walk ins on a quiet holiday was really wonderful. Avery stepped in to cover a shift on a major holiday and Casey just showed attention to detail and care on what ended up being a busier night than expected. I posted a 5 for food even though I didn't have any last night because every other time I have eaten there, it's always delicious. The simple late night menu is convenient and even better than what you would expect for late night bar food. Typically I have to say that the shareables/appetizers are most what I eat there and are what I'd honestly recommend the most.

This barbecue establishment is among the finest I have encountered. The brisket and ribs exhibited exceptional tenderness, requiring only a fork for consumption. The pecan-carrot side dish was also noteworthy, featuring a delectable sauce. The service staff provided attentive and courteous support. The restaurant fosters a relaxed atmosphere conducive to enjoying a meal with companions, and I wholeheartedly recommend it. Furthermore, the bourbon selection is superb.

Our original plan was to eat at the aviator wing spot, and we were glad it was closed down! Barrel and bones were right next door, and we decided to give it a try. Appetizers were beautifully displayed. I'm big on eating with my eyes 👀 whoever was in the kitchen took pride in their work on making the food look good!! The BBQ platter was perfect for our family of 6. Definitely will be going back!

Excellent service, friendly staff that knows what to recommend. The pork belly burnt ends were magical. The brisket and ribs were great, amazing flavor. The smoked looked amazing but I didn’t try it, and the jalapeño cheese sausage was excellent. I was super impressed with the deviled eggs, a must try! Kasey did a great job taking care of us. The bar looks amazing and will definitely hit that up next trip.

The brisket potato was massive and delicious. I wouldn't recommend doing takeout on the nachos. My husband loves the banana bread pudding.

My wife and I met some friends of hers here. First time visiting. It was very nice, they had a special on the house Bourbon Old Fashioned and they were yummy. We then had the Brisket Queso which was excellent with large chunks of brisket. I forgot to take photo of our 2-meat plate , we had Burnt Ends and the smoked chicken , both were very tasty. We would go back again if in the area.

Solid place tucked inside downtown Carrollton. We were going to twisted root but saw this across the street and decided to visit here instead. Here's what we ordered: - quesabiria tacos: fantastic. Would order again. - Smoked wings: Would highly recommend the Buffalo flavor. I've been trying to find good smoked wings ever since our trip to Vegas, and while this isn't the best, it is very good. - prime rib: we got the chopped moist. It was good. - buffalo cauliflower: Also very delicious. Would undoubtedly visit again.

Smells great outside but when we walked in it smelled like floor drain went dry and sewer gases coming out. No one was there to greet us and they only had two people working. One girl behind the bar and another in the dining room. We were charged extra for meat on the Game day nachos even though they said pick your protein nothing stated extra charge for protein. I asked for pulled pork on the nachos and I was given something different. It took to long to ask for a correction on our bill and they gave us cash back instead of refund on our credit card bill. Does entered the restaurant and walked through to the patio. If you have plenty of time they have a good wall of sports tv on for viewing. They have a decent amount of drinks and a vast menu of food to choose from. I had been wanting to try this place for three years now. I might be back but not anytime soon.

If you like a laid back vibe with good drinks and tasty bites, Barrel and Bones Craft Bar and Smokehouse will be right up your alley. I discovered this spot a couple of years ago, but I am finally doing a review. I love the wood grain decor and the big pool tables. This is a great spot to catch a game or grab drink. I love sitting in the bar area and watching games. The guy manager with the beard is really cool. So is the server Lexi. The staff has been friendly on all of my visits. The bar has a vast collection of whiskeys. I love their signature cocktails. I’ve had a couple that I thought were really tasty. I’ve tried several dishes on my visits to Barrel and Bones. My favorite was the House Smoked Turkey Melt sandwich. The first one that I had was TO DIE FOR! It was one of the best Smoked Turkey Melts I have ever tried. Hands down. However, the next couple of times that I ordered it, it didn’t taste the same. It tasted greasy and the turkey meat didn’t have that unforgettable smokiness like it did at first. This led me to try other things on my next few visits. I thought the turkey sandwich was good but that was before I had this sandwich (forgot what it was called) that had brisket , jalepeno sausage, and cheese. When I tell you that it KNOCKED MY SOCKS OFF, it truly did! Everything came together in my mouth like a sweet symphony. It was delicious. I’m certain it is the best thing that I have ever tried on their menu. Sadly, I’m not sure that it is still offered on the menu. I liked their brunch. I had the Basic Cowboy which is 2 eggs , protein, potatoes , and I had toast. It was yummy. I really like their Garlic Parmesan Fries too. They are always hot, fresh, and flavorful. I also enjoy the Banana Cream Bread Pudding. It is good. However, I think it needs more pudding on each serving because once you run out it gets dry. Still, I enjoy it. Overall, I usually enjoy myself when I go here. It is a solid choice for good food and drinks. Check them out when you can. You won’t be sorry.

BBQ is great per usual… i usually don’t have issues from barrel and bones but this time was different and it could’ve been life changing if i didn’t realize i had tough plastic in my baked potato salad.. hopefully you guys respond to my review. :( Update: No response yet. But my stomach has been feeling like it’s a towel being rung out since i’ve woke up. BBQ is great here so this is upsetting for me.

I removed my review initially because they framed me as a racist although how i feel has nothing to do with any other worker besides Betsy. She called me a thief in front of several patrons after visiting their establishment for multiple years. I understand jokes and having fun although I never experienced that type of service from a bar tender. I've seen more than one regular run up tabs, not pay and they are treated with the upmost respect when they walk in again maybe it is the color of my skin. Im not a tab runner and I pay all my bills on time, I make 95k a year no kids and just because I have dark skin does not mean I should be treated with disrespect. See yall in the gym because this is more motivation for me to become a better person to choose who I spend my money with.
