It was a very cool experience. The restaurant has a robot who brings your beverages which was very interesting and fun! Food was alright I mean I had better ramen when I was in New York area but this place has a conveyor belt with sushi and other food. Definitely worth a visit!
One of my favorite sushi restaurants! Sushi is decent for the price, and it’s easy to order - you can either pick from the tablet or grab whatever you see on the belt. Such a fun experience with friends.
It's just fun to see the sushi go by and pick what you want. I keep coming back. It's pretty consistent. Also the monthly premium choices are usually pretty tasty and worth trying.
This is a fun place that allows you to try all the options without concerns of saying orders incorrectly. 😁 Don't expect cheap. Instead, expect a unique experience where you can go and socialize while talking/discussing all the items that pass by you on the conveyor. They also have a very nice way of guarding the items, so that you are aware if someone tried to tamper with the item (not open, have to unlock a case, which can not be closed once opened). I originally had concerns, based on some of the news coming out of Japan, but was very happy to see the solution they have implemented in the states. We will definitely go back the next time we are in town. It was just fun to be there, and both my kids really enjoyed it.
First time tried the revolving sushi bar was so impressed. The food options are pretty good. Lots to choose from. The food comes in pretty quick from the time you order, it's filling, doesn't cost a lot, maybe like $3.50 a plate, the staff was polite and helpful. In terms of cleanliness the place could do better, the tables were wiped clean the floor/bench we were at was also sticky and unclean. Bathrooms were clean though. Definitely recommended for a unique experience
Love this spot! We come probably once a month. Staff is always attentive & very kind, the booths are spacious & feel private, food is always tasty & I love all the collabs & the gachapon toys. You're missing out if you've never been here!
We first tried Kura Revolving Sushi because we thought it would be a unique experience. We keep going back because the sushi is great! Everything is fresh and high quality. The smaller portions served are great because you can try new things without committing to a $10-$15 roll. The menu is has the widest selection of any sushi restaurant we’ve ever been to. We’ll see you again soon Kura!
There’s an abundance of decent places you can go for sushi in the Metroplex, however you’d be hard pressed to find anything as special or as delicious as stepping into this unassuming strip mall restaurant to be transported to another time and place where little trains of eye catching world-class grade sushi fare floats by or is jettisoned table side, while Zack your robo-drink attendant beep-beeps and whizzes by and before you know it you’re o In an adventurous quest to save the legendary secret wasabi recipe, you’ll find yourself abandoning any thought of “just getting two or three plates.” This endeavor demands at least 15 plates to muster the power to reclaim the imperiled condiment of eternal fire (my interpretation, but fitting). Kura is a culinary haven that will leave you pleasantly surprised. The flavors and textures are expertly crafted to perfection, far surpassing your expectations of sushi. This review can’t fully capture the sacred truths that await your taste buds. Umami is a term often used, but if you’ve ever yearned to experience its true essence, then this is the place for you. Don’t delay; go now and reclaim the secret wasabi recipe. Discover your own Umami Nirvana, subject to your palate and possibly even a talking shark.
This is a must do for anyone who likes sushi and especially for kids. The food was really good!! We had a blast ordering on the tablet and getting our food delivered on the conveyor belt. No one came to clean the extra dishes off the table so that was a bit bothersome. I would have rated service a 4 instead of 3 but one bathroom was out of toilet paper and at the same time the other was out of paper towels. I was a little worried about keeping with with our spending but with 2 adults and 2 kids who like sushi we spent $145. I think that's comparable to any other sushi dinner.
I’ve been here multiple times with family and friends. They have a variety of food to choose from, such as sushi, ramen, appetizers, desert, and so on. I personally don’t recommend ordering the ramen since it is a bit bland and the price for it isn’t worth it, in my opinion. They have a really cute robot that brings drinks aswell and you also get a tiny price after 15 plates which I think is a nice touch! However, this place is really popular and gets packed during the weekend just as a heads up!
My daughter and I were out shopping and decided to have lunch at Kura. This is such a fun place to eat! The conveyor belt carrying all the yummy dishes runs throughout the whole restaurant. There was such a wide variety of dishes to choose from. If nothing on the conveyor belt tickled your fancy, you could always order from the menu. You also get a cute little prize after tucking away empty dishes! We'll most certainly return.
Really fun place. The sushi is good, no complaints there. Having it go around in a conveyor belt is so cool. There is a little game that keeps track of how many plates you eat. After every five there is a short anime video. Every fifteen and you get a little toy prize. We had seven people in our group and we went through 79 plates. Service was friendly. I really liked the ice cream.
My family traveled here for the experience and we got it! Between a robot waitress bringing our drinks and the conveyor belt with revolving options as well as a separate conveyor belt for made to order options- we had a blast. The food tasted good and the sushi fresh. This location is about 2hrs from where we live (with traffic) but we will come back for sure!
Nice servers, clean. Recommend, comparable to the Plano location, lots of parking. Good for the price.

I went in for lunch today and enjoyed the food so much , the area was well maintained loved the customer service would definitely recommend to my family and friends.
This place is great. I love the atmosphere and the fresh sushi. The wait can get long if you don't make a reservation ahead of time.

The service and food were great. I absolutely enjoyed my time, it was a fun and laid back atmosphere. Will come again soon. It would be expected that the wait to be seated was long, but I think worth it.
Because of the way it goes as a revolving sushi bar, we didn't get much service and there was not servers around to ask things. Food is good. I wish they fill dishes on the belt a little more quickly. It's could be just me after long wait. 😊
What a unique concept! Some revolving sushi bars can seem like a gimmick but Kura had some pretty good sushi. This is a great spot to go with friends, although the wait can be very long. The conveyor belt can add some fun to a meal, or you can order food a la carte. Overall it was a fun dinner destination.
This is not an unlimited standard menu. You pay per plate, based on what you eat. Sushi comes both on the rotating conveyor belt and through screen ordering, but it was unclear which screen-ordered items were charged as extras. For example, we weren’t charged for two standard salmon sushi orders, but we were charged for drinks—so the pricing felt confusing. Some of the “standard” plates had only 2 pieces of sushi for $3.65. Compared to a regular sushi restaurant, that felt expensive (you can often get around 8 pieces less than $14.60 ), and these weren’t even special rolls. So if your goal is to eat a lot of sushi and feel full, this place is pricey—there are few special/custom sushi options, and the ones they do have are expensive. That said, for someone who wants a different experience, it’s not bad as a one-time visit. The receipt below shows what my child and I paid for one dinner, not including tip.
It was my first time at a Revolving Sushi restaurant. All dishes have ingredients listing in the smart screen at each table so you are aware of what is in each dish! 👍 The sushi I had were fresh, especially the Salmon. I tried "sea urchin" for the first time today, I think it was just okay, as it is an acquired taste thing, it tastes similar to Tomalley - body cavity of cooked lobsters and crabs. First time trying authentic Japanese Wasabi, it was good but because I'm so used to American Horseradish, I had to consume extra Japanese Wasabi to get that spicy feeling up my nose as I have high tolerance for spiciness. They do serve alcohol here. I haven't had a chance to try their ramen so maybe I'll come back next time for that. The price was reasonable, wasn't expensive nor cheap. Expect to spend about $15-$30 to fill your stomach.
Great atmosphere. Revolving sushi is a great place to meet up with a few friends and not be bothered by anyone. For those that get sensory overloaded, you may want to limit your time here. Service is excellent. One of the highlights is their robotic drink server. I called mine Frank. I don't have to talk to Frank so it is great for people who are low energy or don't like talking to too many people they don't know. Getting food and ordering drinks can initially be intimidating but don't worry. Once you get the hang of the touch screen or app, things become super easy. If there is a particular dish you want it is simple to order. Otherwise, the sushi, sides, and deserts that go around on the conveyer are all good. I recommend anything with salmon, shrimp, or beef. The Inari sushi with only rice and the sweet tofu pouch were not to my liking but that is the beauty of revolving sushi, if you know you don't like it don't get it. I know I sing the praises of the food but in terms of quality and price point, it is more worthwhile to go to a higher end sushi restaurant and pay the same amount on those two points. All in all it is a great place to go with friends and enjoy some good sushi and deserts. There are shops nearby that make this an ideal hangout prior to shopping and worth your consideration. Unfortunately, no photos but I'm sure you can find plenty.
Revolving sushi bar great for families to individual outings. Customer service is good. They have robots and a pad so you don’t have to interact with the servers. If it is your first time you can an intro explaining on how it works. You can pick things off the belt or order directly to your table. Great if you want to try different sushi. Once I found my favorites I order directly to the table. If you clear 10-15 plates you get a prize. Very entertaining and fun environment. Highly recommend the taiyaki ice cream it is a great sweet treat to end the service.

The sushi quality is better than convenient stores or buffet style. Of course it’s the best when ordered directly to table but the cost to value ratio for me was not worth it overall. Some of the trays were broken so we couldn’t access certain dishes. If it’s busy you may have to order direct to table because certain dishes will always be out depending on where you’re seated. We ordered drinks but did not receive refills. It was during a change of shift so that’s possibly why, I’m not sure. We re-ordered water. The robot that delivers drinks is cute, they have a neat toy system for 15+ train plates, and the restaurant is clean. I think everyone who wants to should try this at least once for the experience but overall if you’re looking for above average sushi, this may not be for you. If you’re looking for a fun date night to hang out or with friends and family.. they’ll get a kick out of this. When we went it was about $3.50 per plate with on average 2/3 pieces with up to 4 pieces per plate.

The sushi itself wasn't great. The concept makes the place interesting, but the quality of the fish and flavor were just okay. Worth trying once for the experience, but not for the food.

Wife wanted a Salmon’s skin hand roll. Of course they’re out of Salmon skin hand rolls. Wife wants low sodium soy sauce. They only have the high sodium kind, so get ready for a mouthful of salt and try not to gag. Tons of empty plates are coming by on the conveyor belt with absolutely nothing on the plates. Both bathrooms have very sticky floors. Partially broken equipment just laying on the floor. Never coming back.
