Sushi Nekko in Carrollton never disappoints 😋 The Boyfriend Roll and Girlfriend Roll are always our favorites — super fresh, perfectly balanced, and packed with flavor. If you love specialty rolls, these two are a must-try! The miso soup is always hot and delicious, and everything else on the menu is consistently great. Many options for Japanese food lovers. Not just sushi. Highly recommend the bento box options if it's your first time. The green tea was not a bag - always a good sign. Loved the blue accent lighting - need to see it at night. Lot of sushi roll options. Neko = cat. Nekko = root. ;0)

I’ve been coming to Sushi Nekko about once a week for a couple of years — it’s always fresh, flavorful, and consistently excellent! The Rose Roll with Serrano and cucumber salad are my favorites, and my husband loves the shishito peppers and tuna poke bowl. The staff is so kind and helpful, and the atmosphere is cute, quiet, and perfect for family, friends, or date night. Love that they show sports on a couple TVs, and their takeout is always busy (with great specials!). A wonderful locally owned gem — highly recommend! 🍣

Fresh and delicious sushi with great flavors. Beautifully prepared and super friendly service. Definitely a go-to spot for quality sushi! Some tables are too close to each other. I like more privacy when eating.

Truly an amazing place for super fresh sushi. 🍣 Service has been excellent the 3 times we have visited. We like sitting at the sushi bar if only 3 or fewer dining. I stopped in last night by myself. The hot sake was on sale for $4. I ordered the Geisha roll special $12, then a crunch roll and spicy tuna roll about $7 each. I was planning on leaving but asked the chef what he recommended that was unique. I tried the fever roll and it was really good. I think I should have stopped at 3 but it was worth it. 😎 I highly recommend trying this place it’s very good.

My friends and I had a wonderful time at this restaurant. 4 rolls and sushi bento box were so savory. The server was very kind and professional. Absolutely I recommend this restaurant. Food, service and price...everything strongly satisfied. You'll love it.

General rule, most restaurants get their fish on Fridays. With that being said the fish was fresh and the food was great. Staff was also amazing and super friendly. I was born and raised in Hawaii and these were some of the best rolls I've had in my life

On a Saturday evening at 6:30 PM, I found myself in a situation where I needed to have dinner within an hour and a half, so I hurriedly searched Google for a sushi restaurant. The initial impression at the entrance was a harmonious blend of clean wood and cherry blossoms – very inviting! Luckily, we were promptly seated. I decided to order the Neko Roll, and what caught my attention was the inclusion of the special Negitoro Roll menu on the wall. In the US, otoro is typically reserved for Nigiri sushi because otoro is so expensive. As you notice, they are market price on the menu, so I was curious to try it a negitoro roll. Our order arrived, starting with the Nigiri sushi, featuring choices like tuna and salmon. The tuna, at the glance, it looked like it might be Chu-toro grade. After biting, I was sure that Chu-toro (medium fatty tuna). It was clear that they didn't compromise on quality when it came to their tuna. (It was indeed Bluefin tuna. Generally, tuna prices vary based on the cut, but here, what I ordered was regular tuna sushi, which comes with even two pieces). After taking a bite, I was pleasantly surprised by how delicious it was! I could enjoy such quality tuna sushi at this price point was astounding – great value for money! Next up was the Negitoro Roll! Traditionally, Negitoro rolls in Japan are made with minced scallions(Negi), but here, they sliced the scallions, preserving their crisp texture and enhancing the creaminess of the otoro. This unique touch, combined with the fragrance of shiso leaves, elevated the richness of the Toro. I felt grateful to have the opportunity to savor such an enticing Negitoro Roll at this price point. While the other sushi options were also delicious, it's safe to say that I'll be returning specifically for the Negitoro Roll and the exceptional tuna sushi. I really enjoyed it.

Sushi Nekko was great! They have a great lunch special, 2 rolls for $12 or 3 rolls for $15. Salad and miso included if you dine in. Inside the restaurant was peaceful, clean and thoughtful about the interior and decorative pieces and finishes. The staff was very courteous and polite and showed me their lunch specials. This is a great place for a dinner date, birthday and lunch! Would definitely recommend and will be going back. This is everything you would want in a dining experience!
