Fantastic lunch in a relaxed, family-friendly atmosphere. The owners are incredibly kind and helpful, as are all the waiters. We truly enjoyed our meal. The pumpkin and amaretti risotto was exceptional, not to mention the veal with tuna sauce and Russian salad, the latter incredibly delicate. See you next time...

We went for a special occasion lunch. The place is beautiful; since it was a weekday, we sat in the basement for lunch with the stove on, and it was lovely. The service was top-notch, and the owner was knowledgeable and friendly. Typical Piedmontese food! Recommended.

Lunch with friends, two couples—how lovely! First experience without any recommendations or advice. Beautiful place, and we were greeted with a clear sign of friendliness and hospitality, very welcome. We were looking for a restaurant with boiled meats on the menu. Since we needed to eat lightly for boiled meats, we limited ourselves to the appetizer. We opted for local appetizers—veal with tuna sauce, sublime, and all the other appetizers ordered at the table were top-notch. Then came the boiled meats...with their Piedmontese sauces...everything was amazing...great quality meats, congratulations. Served in trays divided between fatty and lean meats...with plenty of broth in the fatty ones, it's a shame not to dip a piece of bread in it (which I did). My only regret is that, as I watched other tables being served, the first courses I'd chosen to skip were passing by, and I kept noticing them, saying....you see what dishes they're serving!!!!!! A thought about how I almost ordered a first course too, it was a powerful one..... But I'll fix that on my next visit. I forgot...we finished with dessert.....and here we're going crazy----- Well done, well done, well done....... Praise to the young man who served us, young but remarkably kind...

Very nice experience in which the chef makes you feel at home. Not only was the food amazing but it was a pleasure to talk to him and learn about his cooking approach and philosophy. Very honest prices. Many vegan options and great wines by the glass.

Delicious local food, charming owners. I loved the fact that the menu contained lots of vegetables, vegetarian and vegan options. The deserts were fantastic, too. Simona, the owner, was very friendly and, thanks to her recommendations, after our lunch at Il Melograno we spent a lovely afternoon touring the local wine producers.

A very nice restaurant, but the best part is undoubtedly the food. It's simply fantastic, just like the chef and the host. You can feel the passion and attention to detail throughout. Highly recommended, even for those of us who are vegan.

I know Carlo the owner and chef personally and all the team at the Melograno. We have used this restaurant for years for family reunions not only for the surroundings but also because Carlo has made food and wine a life-long passion. They also organise culinary lessons which my wife attends. Yes we can give this a five star rating.

Siamo stati oggi a pranzo ,solo una parola "Ottimo",dall'antipasto :vitello tonnato e tris di tartare , per poi passare agli gnocchi con carciofi e calamari e per finire degustazione di Bonet .Gentil…

Trovato per caso, ho chiamato e mi ha risposto una persona gentilissima che ha dimostrato disponibilità creando uno spazio per noi due. Abbiamo mangiato due antipasti e due primi. Tutto eccellente.

Ottimo ristorante con piatti tipici e interessanti rivisitazioni. Molta attenzione alle intolleranze, con proposte senza glutine, vegane e vegetariane. Materie prime di qualità bilanciate con il prezzo dei piatti. Servizio da rivedere, preciso all’inizio con poca gente, diventato dispersivo a locale pieno (con cameriere nuove un po’ timorose nell’agire). Comunque proprietari molto disponibili e alla mano. Ci torneremo

Locale molto bello e caratteristico in un meraviglioso contesto classico del Monferrato. Il paese e molto carino e merita una gita … il locale propone piatti tipici Piemontesi ma proposto con molta cura e anche con cenni di innovazione. Classica gestione familiare fatta con grande attenzione per il cliente e passione. Materie prime di grande qualità in contesto caldo ed accogliente. Aperto anche a mezzogiorno in settimana. Il proprietario e uno Chef molto preparato, gentile e con una cantina molto interessante. Comodo posteggio proprio difronte al locale in una bella piazza. Merita sicuramente una visita …ed il viaggio!!! Situato a pochi km dal casello di Casale … Super Consigliato !!!

The ambiance is quite simple, but still nicely done. The service was very friendly, although the waiter went into great detail explaining the menu, which was a bit much for me and my friends. The food was presented very attractively and was also delicious. We appreciated that there were vegetarian/vegan options. Reservations are recommended.

A charming, family-run restaurant with very friendly but slightly inattentive service. We had to ask for more bread several times when we ran out. The waiter who recommended wines from the extensive and varied wine list was excellent and very knowledgeable. The dishes were all very good, beautifully presented and beautiful to look at, but the portions were far too small. The desserts were beautiful and delicious; the only shame was that the excellent apple pie was cold instead of lukewarm, which would have been exceptional with a few degrees more heat. The price was reasonable for the quality of the food served. My personal opinion is that, with the restaurant as full as I was, perhaps an extra waiter and more generous portions would be needed to achieve excellence. If you're in the area, it's definitely worth a stop.

Ci siamo stati con amici e prenotazione, una domenica a Pranzo, interessante menù ottimi antipasti perfetta l insalata russa, e buonissimi i cappellacci, abbiamo azzardato poi con la scelta di provar…

Patito il freddo e non c'era la volontà da parte dei proprietari di risolvere la situazione. Cibo buono, ma servizio non molto curato. Poco interesse verso il cliente. Accettano i cani vasta avvisarli.

Bolliti misti davvero molto buoni. Il servizio è un po da migliorare soprattutto per un piatto di "difficile gestione" come il bollito! Prezzo non proprio economico ma qualità ottima

We had a very bad experience in this place, we had reserved two evenings for dinner but we only had dinner once, we really had no desire to go back one more evening. In the first instance, a restaurant behind closed doors seemed strange to us where you have to ring the bell to enter, after that first impression everything seemed normal inside a restaurant, initially we were served by two very kind ladies... until the owner of the restaurant and her son appeared on the scene, from that moment we only wanted to leave the restaurant and return to our hotel what an arrogant woman the owner of the restaurant who at the same time is a waitress, arrogant and taxing, we feel that her attitude was only to earn money instead of the satisfaction and comfort of the clients, she was not kind at all and the food is supposed to be the star of the place and we should qualify this and leave other details in the background. The food was nice and sophisticated but at the same time simple... unfortunately we only felt that we were in the wrong place for dinner, uncomfortable with the treatment and the lack of education of Simone towards us, added to the long waits between dishes The indisposition and discomfort towards us was notorious, we did not want anything for free, only what was normal and correct.
