10/2025 We stop by in this restaurant on our way from lake Como where we cannot find place to park in all those small towns near the lake. This place is out from tourist rush, on village quite high in mountains. Access by narrow but safe serpentine, like 30 min from lake Como. No other place to eat on such road. And here very nice food, pleasant waiter with passion and very patient. Other local customers also present even if around 14:00 there is nobody on the streets. Beautiful view down to valley. Overall great experience and very welcoming place. Affordable prices.

Great restaurant with a fantastic view from the terrace. The food was very good and surprisingly affordable. You could even watch the pizza maker preparing the pizza in the wood-fired stone oven. The waiter was very friendly and accommodating. He speaks English and Italian. We were extremely satisfied and would recommend the restaurant anytime.

The restaurant is in an exceptional location, the terrace is excellent, the food is good, but given the large number of people there, the wait to eat was very long, perhaps also due to the disorganization of the staff. Simone is a special guy, perhaps it is better to go and eat there on other occasions when it is quieter... recommended for a dinner with friends...

Dining at this Italian restaurant in Casargo was an absolute delight from start to finish. The moment you step inside, you’re welcomed by a warm and inviting atmosphere that perfectly balances rustic mountain charm with a touch of elegance. The cozy wooden interiors, soft lighting, and panoramic views of the valley create a setting that feels both relaxed and special—a place where you immediately feel at home. The food was truly the highlight. Each dish showcased authentic flavors rooted in local tradition, prepared with care and attention to detail. The beef was fresh and perfectly cooked, the mushroom sauce rich yet balanced, and the portions generous without ever compromising on presentation. Traditional specialties like polenta and pizza were a wonderful taste of the region.

An exceptional location, rare and valuable, panoramic and distinctive in the area. Breathtaking view, excellent as a base after a nice hike. The staff is inexperienced, probably due to the high season, except for the lady behind the counter, who is truly exceptional, friendly, and spirited! Otherwise, the pizzas are nothing special, the starters are quite good, and the side dishes are basic. Good house wine.

The name is perfectly fitting; you have the option of lunch or dinner with a panoramic view of the Grigna massif. Perhaps it's best to specify this pleasant option when booking to avoid ending up at a table inside and far away. My rating of the food is only for the pizza; I can't judge the restaurant as a whole. Some small shortcomings in the service: a long wait for a table despite a reservation, but the rest of the service was prompt. The pizza is well-made with a thin, light dough, easily digestible. Homemade desserts are also available. A small note about the tiramisu: if it's served, as in this case, with the original recipe that calls for liqueur, it's best to let people know, both because of the children and because adults may or may not appreciate it.

Ristorante molto carino, in pieno stile montanaro, con una vista pazzesca durante il girono sulla valle. Il personale ed il servizio sono stati davvero ottimi, nulla da ridire, ma il cibo ci ha un po’ deluso: in particolare le patate dei pizzoccheri erano indietro di cottura.

Seppur la nuova gestione è partita bene, con cibo e pizze di qualità a prezzi giusti, organizzando anche serate con gruppi musicali, ha ora iniziato ad alzare i prezzi. Per esempio dolci che costano quasi come una pizza (panna cotta, gelato con castagne industriali zuccherate, ecc. ognuno a €. 6). Peccato, se continuano così, la gente sarà costretta ad esplorare altri ristoranti!

Coperto , euro 2,5 per mangiare su una tovaglietta di carta ( esagerato) Un primo allo scoglio , con due scampi nemmeno puliti , gocciolanti di un liquido marrognolo . E Una frittura che occupava metà terrina E con prezzi non proprio popolari. Per i gelati , i camerieri si sono sbagliati e dopo 20 minuti di attesa...bye , bye . Valida solo per la pizza 🍕

Luckily, the experience didn't last long. As soon as we arrived and asked for a free table, no one paid attention to us. After 15 minutes, we were able to sit down. 20 minutes later, they took our orders. After a while, a lady came by to ask if we had ordered. After half an hour, still nothing. Four people arrived at the next table, ordered immediately, and were served right away. We got up and left. They even had the nerve to charge us for water and a medium beer. Such disastrous behavior is inexcusable since the place wasn't crowded. Don't worry, you'll never see me again.

Absolutely Deceiving - AVOID at All Costs! From the outside, this place looks like a dream – charming outdoor seating with a beautiful view. Don't be fooled, it's a complete mirage! We walked in expecting a lovely experience and were immediately plunged into chaos. Instead of the inviting outdoor tables, we were herded into a dark, dreary room with zero ambiance. The bill was significantly higher than the prices listed on the menu, and when we tried to address this egregious overcharge, we hit a brick wall. Nobody seemed capable of resolving the issue, and attempting to communicate in English was an exercise in futility; they clearly didn't understand. This place is a pointless waste of time and money. It's superficially beautiful but utterly deceptive. I strongly advise anyone considering dining here to turn around and walk away. Save yourself the frustration and ripped-off feeling.

Reservation, highly pregnant woman, crying child, 36 degree celsius and a birthday were not enough to give us the reserved table outside. It’s been one of the most disappointing lessons we had to learn in this normally pleasant and welcoming region. We do have a holiday home nearby and we have never been blocked off in such a rude way even with tables being obviously free. This unfriendly place will never see us again.

Warning: Avoid this place! I was bothered and threatened by a drunk and aggressive family member of the owner. Finally I left hurried without finishing. Again, avoid this place.
