Tuvimos una experiencia fantástica en Ananda en Castelldefels. La comida fue deliciosa, el ambiente encantador – y fuimos atendidos por Pau, el camarero más rápido y amable que hemos conocido. Su servicio fue de primera. ¡Muy recomendable!

Comida deliciosa y saludable. Hamburgesas vegetariana y vegana de muerte. Nachos delicioso. Es un chiringuito con la playa a pie de mesas fantástico la vista. Camareros amables. Buena calidad relación calidad precio.

Sitio perfecto para tomar algo o comer! El sitio, al lado de la playa, es inmejorable y el personal, muy joven, es atento y amable. Todo muy bien ambientado para hacerte pasar un buen rato. La comida buenísima y a buen precio teniendo en cuenta que estás a pie de playa, muy muy competitivo. 100% recomendable!

Decided to go outside the Barcelona city for our beach day. Found Ananda, right on the Castelldefels Beach and rented a cabana, and ate lunch at their restaurant. Maria, the host, and Pau, our waiter, were very helpful, cheerful, friendly. Beer tacos were delicious as was the hamburger and pork sandwich. All washed down with tasty mojitos and cerveza. Would definitely return.

La verdad es que comimos bien, hubo algunos errores con el servicio pero la experiencia fue correcta. Destacar al camarero que nos atendió, Pau, que sabe tratar al publico y gestionar las situaciones. No es la primera vez que me atiende aquí y siempre ha sido muy agradable.

Un chiringuito muy bueno pero no deja de ser un chiringuito más de playa. A pesar de ser festivo, todo a tope en un magnífico día de playa, nos han atendido, en concreto la señorita Martina, con extrema delicadeza, siempre atentas, y lo que más importante, eres visible. Y en este entorno, casi claustrofófico, abarrotado de sillas, mesas, bañistas y niños alegres, no te pierden de vista ni un momento y te mantienen la mesa siempre limpia. Una cosa que me ha gustado mucho ha sido el detalle del responsable del local al avisarnos y pedir disculpas por la previsible tardanza de la comanda debido al alto volumen de pedidos. La carta es corta pero con platos ricos y sabrosos, a excepción de la ensaladilla rusa que dejaba mucho que desear. Las croquetas extraordinarias pero algo caras. Las patatas bravas también extraordinarias. He echado en falta un acompañamiento a las hamburguesas. Una hamburguesa sin patatas, batatas o ensalada, en un plato desangelado y soso. Estuvimos cenando muy agusto a pie de arena y todo lo que probamos estaba rico. Buen servicio a mesa y entorno bastante tranquilo pese a ser Agosto y fiestas en Castelldefels.

Está en frente de la playa y la comida la verdad muy rica! Quizá un poquito caro pero muy muy rico! Dejo fotos pero comimos una entraña que estaba muy bien, un entrecôte, dos platos de tacos uno de carne otro de pollo, unas gyozas y unas tallarinas, de beber una botella de vino y una botella de agua y pagamos unos 26€ por persona éramos 5 personas! We came to this café by the shore, where they had sunbeds available. Two sunbeds cost €8 each, and the umbrella was another €8, so altogether it came to €24. We sat down, and a young man came over with the payment device. He told us the total was €24. We didn’t have small bills with us – only a €100 note and a €20 note. We offered him the €20 first, but he refused, saying it wasn’t enough. Then we told him we only had the €100 bill. He hesitated, but eventually said, “Okay, I’ll bring you the change,” took the €100 and went inside to the restaurant near the bar counter. We expected him to return quickly, but instead we waited around 20–25 minutes without any word from him. During this time, we didn’t even settle in or unpack our towels on the sunbeds, because we weren’t sure whether he would come back with the receipt and our change. He kept glancing at us in a rather sly way, while at the same time serving other customers, walking back and forth, and even sipping an Aperol or some other cocktail at the bar. He completely ignored us, even when we tried to signal him with a gesture to come over. He would just nod his head slightly but continued standing there, doing nothing about our situation. The impression was very strange and uncomfortable. Eventually, after nearly half an hour, we realized he would not come to us. We had to go to him ourselves and ask for our receipt and change. All this time, he had them in his hands – the change and the receipt – but he never approached us. Why he behaved that way, we honestly don’t know. We don’t want to assume any bad intentions on his part. He was a young man, wearing braces, probably a student. But his behavior left us with a very unpleasant and confusing feeling. If you take a customer’s money, and the customer is waiting, why not simply bring the receipt and the change straight away? In the end, it wasn’t just about the money. It was about the service and the attitude toward us as guests. Unfortunately, the experience was negative and very disappointing.

Great beach bar vibe – we came here every day for over a week. Good octopus leg, American burger, spicy potatoes, great Cezar salad and tasty cava sangria (a bit pricey). Friendly staff but slow to take orders, and tables could be cleaner. Still, a perfect spot to relax with good food by the sea.

Perfect little beachfront spot in Castelldefels! We stopped by for some tapas and drinks, and it definitely didn’t disappoint. The croquettes were amazing, the beer was ice cold, and the vibe was just what you want after a long day at the beach. It does get very busy—we had to wait about 20 minutes for a table—so I’d recommend booking ahead if you can. Great food, great atmosphere, and a beautiful setting right by the sea!

Beer was very cold and very fresh tasting :). Beautiful atmosphere eating right in the beach. Convenient bathroom too. Food was tasty and beautiful. Service was quite slow and very hard to get attention. It was a busy time so if you come at 13:00 then plan to relax and not be in a rush. Happy to have had the experience but service could be better. Maybe one or two more servers - they were all working very hard!

The food was fair and the price tag taken location into consideration acceptable. Overall a fine day on the beach outside Barcelona. Would, however, say the place is more a place to go have a drink and look at the people on the beach.

The place is nice, by the beach. Food was not the greatest but ok (a few vegetarian options for us). The prices are a little high but this is expected in summer. The staff was nice.

Food is really expensive for what it is. 18 euros for a burger without fries…the rest of the menu is really meh. Service is not great. Ordered 3 plates and esch one arrived with 15 minutes in between. The location is nice but It does not justify the service nor the mediocre food for such a high price.

Gave 200eur cash, waiter said that they dont accept it. I did not gave tips for this, because it make alot inconvenient. Forgot 2 pair of sunglasses on the table, came in 3 minutes back for them. They “did not find them”, after 5 minutes and after i said that lets call police and look at camera they found them in trash can.

The waiters cannot remember 3 dishes ordered for 1 table. The blonde guy came back 2 times to ask for our order. We thought he is quite short. But man, we were mistaken. The slowest brain challenged us in the person of a blonde girl. She totally forgot to book our steak in the system. When we asked 40 minutes later for our food, nobody even cared for any explanation or excuse. Such a shame when a restaurant is not at all interested in additional revenue.

I used to go here often a few years ago as had a friend who lived locally. Visited on Friday and there was a hostess in a brown top and denim shorts. Awful awful awful attitude. I thought the work of a hostess is to make people feel welcome. We opted to wait for a table. Having walked on the sand that felt like hot larvae we were also in need of a drink. Could not be asked to head elsewhere. The bar man was hesitant to serve us until he was sure we had asked the hostess for a table. She sat other first and I know exactly why! Left a bitter taste in my mouth and would not recommend at all! Actually all the wait staff had bad attitudes! Don’t come to work stay at home and be miserable if hospitality is not your thing!
