High above Palm Canyon we had a late lunch. Very good drinks. The burgers were juicy and superior. Huge portions. The staff and owner made us feel like family. 2 patios.

Came here on a Friday night, they have indoor and outdoor seating, to access you go up the stairs 👍 Service was fast and great. Friendly. Atmosphere is nice and clean. Had the Hawaiian burger and the grilled salmon sandwich with fries(the maple dip they serve with is DELICIOUS!) Appetizer(foreplay) we got there coconut shrimp, those were awesome aswell. Wish I got a picture of the menu it was catchy, try Bongo Johnny's and you'll see what I mean😉 Expresso Martinis were tastie too.

Bongo Johnny’s is one of my favorite places to eat every time I’m in Palm Springs. The food is fresh and original, and combined with the fun, friendly staff and lively atmosphere, this restaurant is always a place I look forward to eating at. You can’t go wrong with their burgers and fries, and they have a full bar as well. They’ll even make you a milkshake if you’re in the mood for a classic treat.

Great food and amazing service, our server was very friendly. They were very accommodating when I asked to remove the meat from the omelette dish. The atmosphere here is also great, other customers are very friendly and everyone seemed to be having a great time. All of our breakfast options were reasonably priced and we enjoyed the champagne.

Came here before a class and loved it. Great service and amazing food. I couldn't decide what I wanted but went with the crispy chicken Caesar salad. The waitress told me I could get it in a wrap and regular salad. I got it in a wrap and it's the best. Great flavor for the salad dressing. Very important in a Caeser salad. Can't wait to try more.

Went for a dinner with the full family, busy night and without a booking, but still managed to get a table. Very friendly staff, with very good food. I got the burger, and my grandma got the guacamole burger, her favorite burger that she always gets. The sweet potato fries are an option I would recommend as well.

The food was great, but we were looking for a Sports bar, which Johnny's was listed as one near me. We sat at the bar in front of 2 TVs, and asked the bartender if he could put on the NFL game that day. One TV had a screen saver, and the second one was off. He said he should be able to get the game as long as the game was on YouTube TV. After turning it on, he said he had to get the manager. About 5 minutes later, someone came over, we assumed to the manager, and turned off the TV. The bartender said it would not connect to the internet. So, no game. The food was good, but would have liked to have seen the game. It should not be advertised as a"Sports Bar".

Stopped for an early dinner. The vibe was cool. Very gay friendly without being pretentious. The food was good. Large menu from salads and sandwiches to full entrees. We started with the steamed Pot Stickers. We then had the grilled steak with vegetables and au gratin potatoes. The veggies were fresh, and I loved the potatoes. The steak was tender and good enough for the price. If you want a full-on steak house, this isn't the place. But for $23, it was a great meal. We also had the Cobb Salad, and it was very tasty with plenty of chicken. If you want a decent place with good prices for a good meal, this is the place. Excellent and very friendly service.

I’m honestly disappointed with the food quality. I ordered my steak medium, but it came out well done, completely overcooked. After the meal I felt unwell, which definitely shouldn’t happen when eating out. Another issue was the overall atmosphere. I felt uncomfortable due to the behavior of some guests who were staring in a way that felt disrespectful. I have no problem with anyone’s lifestyle, but I strongly believe that mutual respect should go both ways, and unfortunately that was missing during my visit. On the positive side: The local beer was excellent. I highly recommend the La Quinta local beer – it was strong, well-balanced, fruity, and had a very distinctive, characterful taste. That was easily the best part of the experience. Overall, good beer, but the food and atmosphere need serious improvement.

I'm not one to give negative reviews; honestly I feel bad leaving this review but the food we had here was terrible. The Mac and Cheese I ordered tasted like box noodles that were overcooked (mushy) and drenched in oil. Yeah I said oil. I couldn't even taste cheese. I'd give it a 1 out of 10. My girlfriend (who doesn't ever complain about food) mentioned her food was terrible. Again, I am sorry to give this review but seriously omg.

I haven’t been to Bongo Johnny’s in years so I figured I’d go today. Well the service wasn’t good and the food not any better. It’s a Monday and holidays ended 2 weeks ago. It’s slow. Our server was nice but forgot our beverage we ordered. Then my burger was made with an ingredient that I had asked not to have. On top of that my burger had a white string of something and a hair. I’m assuming the manager came to address the issue. He didn’t introduce himself but assured me his cooks on the line all have hair nets. He shared he didn’t see anything wrong with my burger but would take it off the bill. I’m so disappointed because I remember the food, service and atmosphere being great. This place really went down hill and it looks like it could benefit from a renovation and face lift.
