Remembered when prices were so low the company could not make money. Then some GENIUS decided to increase prices and add deserts. I also think company was taken private but it was a smart move and the few dozen times I have visited it , I was pleased and felt I got my money worth.

Love this location. I've been to many scholtzsky's locations all over Austin and cedar Park. This one is always my favorite. Whether it be the drive thru or dine in, they are always timely, friendly and fresh. James is wonderful and friendly with all customers, even checking on us during our meal. Fantastic attitude from staff makes for great atmosphere. Love coming here!

I hadn't been to a Schlotzsky's in YEARS and this visit did NOT disappoint! I had the California flatbread (or something along those lines) and it was so good. Prices are reasonable and truly, you can beat the hospitality of the staff. We'll be back, soon!

This Austin-based company is always fast, fresh, and really good. My only request would be to bring back the Brisketeer Mac n Cheese. That is probably the best take on mac n cheese I have ever tasted.

Food is quite good here. It was my first time at Schlotzsky's. I had a Margarita flatbread. Salads were fresh. Staff, very friendly. I started to walk out without bussing my table. The lady behind the counter looked surprised but told me to have a nice day. My husband told me to come back and clean up my mess. Now I know.

I ordered a Medium Original and a Pizza. Got to the window, realized I left my wallet at my Grandson's house 35 Miles away in South Austin and told her I had to cancel the order. She said "No worries, I got you covered, it's on me" Pretty embarrassing to say the least. I asked for the receipt so I could go back in a couple of days and pay for the order. Thank you!

I just wanted to share what a pleasant experience I had here for lunch today and mainly because of the young girl working the register. She's was incredibly friendly, professional, managed the growing line very well and upsold on coming back for $5 off. She was even taking time to drop off orders and checking to see if customers were enjoying their food or needed anything. Really hoping management sees this and applauds her work because this was standout.

I had a wonderful experience here. The service was fast and polite, the store was clean, and my order came out hot, fresh, and quickly. The General Manager, James, was especially helpful. He checked on us to make sure we were enjoying our meals, he cleared our empty plates, and was both upbeat and courteous when interacting with us. We came in close to the closing time with a large group, and they were very accommodating to us. Overall, I'd highly recommend this restaurant to someone else, and do plan to come back.

We were greeted by the General Manager James, who gave very welcoming service. Bathroom was clean, they have automatic soap dispensers. Our sandwiches were so soft and warm, the bread was very fresh. We ended up needing one sandwich bagged up to go instead, the server did this swiftly. Overall good experience.

JUST ordered at the counter, to go, and when we got home, there was an item missing. Called the store and Jennifer(store manager) was gentle and friendly and resolved my issue immediately! GREAT service.

This place is awesome. I've always love the food..but I want all five stars given for the manager! He goes above and beyond to make sure his customers are completely satisfied with their order (even if it was the customers doing not the store). He is AMAZING! Always good service here and they get our order right every time! The drive through is always faster than most locations and the employees are very friendly. The location is a bit hard to get to if you're going the wrong direction but otherwise this place is great. They even have a really nice outdoor patio to dine in!!

The food was fresh and hot and this will now be my go-to Schlotzky's. The prices were a little too high for my liking, but that's just the world we live in now.

OK so the sandwiches here are delicious. I’ve never had a bad sandwich at Schlotzsky’s. The bread is crispy and every bite is flavorful. At some sandwich places one bite might be mostly tomato or veggies, and the next bite is mostly meat. Not so with Schlotzsky’s. It’s pretty much equally distributed in every bite. Jen, the manager, really sets a warm atmosphere of service and care for each customer. They offer military discounts too.

Stopped by Schlotzsky’s for the $5–$7 after 5pm pizza deal with my friend —and wow, was it worth it! The pizza was way better than I expected—crispy crust, melty cheese, and just the right amount of toppings. Total win. But the real MVP? Liberty G. She was super sweet, super helpful, and honestly made the whole experience feel way more special than just grabbing a quick bite. You know those people who just brighten your day a little? Yeah, that’s Liberty. Great food + great vibes = I’ll definitely be back!

I just had foot surgery. On our way home from Surgical Center stopped to get me something to eat. Was very hungry and craving a Fiesta Chicken sandwich. After ordering we realized neither of us had our Billfold/wallet we tried to get their attention to stop order. The Assistant Manager was amazing and said not to worry about it. How cool was that. We will of course bring back cash. That was extremely nice and very considerate. Thank you for being an amazing and caring person. We did not get her name. She was Hispanic if that helps to say thank you to her. The Fiesta Chicken is my favorite, soooooo yummy.

Love their food. If you go through the drive-thru make sure to check your order before pulling away. Mine is frequently messed up somehow. Also, make sure you download their app. You'll get lots of discounts and rewards for using it.

Enjoy the food but our food was ignored and left on the belt for a little bit to long our sandwhich wasnt bad by any means. The hot sauce botttles were a struggle seems as it the sauce build up in the cap prevented any coming out the cap and the outside of the bottles were covered in dry crusty sauce.

Like their fresh bread. Price of a sandwich has gone up alot since last time I was there. Add chips and drink. $3.50. Total over $12 with tax. So not a once a week lunch spot for me. Still excellent food.

Place a little messy when I walked in but they looked busy and right after lunch. I worked on the restaurant business when I was young so it's a peeve of mine. Employees were super friendly and the Angus beef sandwich on rye was great. The drive thru was backed up so I went inside to order to go.

Love the French dip, omg my husband and I literally drink any dipping broth( is it au jous?) Went thru drive thru and the cashier is the only reason I fodnt give 5 stars , she looked like she hated her job and she might but the customer should NEVER KNOW THAT!! Did a drive through lunch pick up. Bought a meal for the family. All of it quite good. This is one of the few places I can get a sandwich on a gluten free bun, possibly Udi's brand. The Deluxe Original sandwich is especially delicious. Staff was very nice but did not wear masks.

We went there for the first time and the food was good. I went with a BBQ sandwich. It was filling and flavorful. The kids liked what they ordered so it is always enjoyable when they eat what they ordered. No complaints from any of them. Everyone was satisfied and full. The staff were courteous and helpful. We will be going back again. I wish I would have tried Schlotzky's awhile ago. Next time I will try another sandwich.

There was a Roach literally crawling towards the front door. It's the only thing that is my arch enemy!! Please spray around the building! I lost my appetite. It wasn't inside.... You can eat safely. I think the convient store so close by and heb. The trash from the gas station. Anyway spray your building so they stay far away from you!

The food is good. Location is great. Staff is fairly friendly and helpful. Restaurant is clean. We go there like once a month and its good for that. We also get BOGO coupons with our mail and we go to the restaurant to take advantage of these coupons. I would not go to this restaurant more frequently than that.

This is the closet Schlotzky’s to our house. We love the “original” sandwich and don’t remember ever ordering anything else! LOL It is a delicious sandwich, and delivered today. Staff were super friendly and helpful. Our order was delivered to our table with the sandwiches still oven shot. We did the combo, so the sandwiches came with chips and a drink, about $14, which is not bad for a large, fresh made to order sandwich meal. Took a star away because the restaurant was very dirty… many tables and the floor covered with food, condiment bottle tops covered with “gunk” (it was mid-afternoon, very few customers, one staff member sitting in the restaurant on her phone, seemingly on a break). No excuse for such an unkept establishment… the staff was there, clearly not trained to keep the place clean. That’s a management issue!

My husband wanted soup from here after dental surgery. He had seen a sign about BOGO pizza but the local sign said Friday's, Saturdays and Sundays but online said Wednesday only. That was a bit confusing and disappointing since it was a Tuesday. The food is pretty good but a little pricey for my liking. It's a special treat for us.

I had not been to a Schlotzsky’s in quite a while and I’m not sure why. I ordered a large turkey avocado Cobb salad with vinaigrette and the large Albuquerque turkey sandwich to share. Both were very good and certainly met expectations. Service was prompt. I had ordered online and everything arrived as requested!

They have a big covered outdoor seating area. The restaurant was busy, but they were maintaining cleanliness. The restroom was clean as well. My food was prepared correctly & the proper temperature. Sabrina was friendly & busting her butt to get tables clean as soon as they became available. Definitely a great Schlotzky's!

Staff were friendly and, when engaged, communicated well. However, the person taking my order was a bit distracted - it seemed like there were only a few staff working and he was trying to deal with a baking oven issue at the same time. This theme of distraction was evident in our food, too. The combo items were missing. One of the kid's cookies was the wrong type. The quantity of meat and extra ingredients was less than I typically get from a Schlotzskys. For example, there are about 5 jalapenos total on a medium sandwich. These mistakes are surprising and disappointing when I am used to excellent service from Schlotzskys.

From a doordashing perspective if I come into the store after getting order and you tell me.... after I have waited for over 20 minutes ....that the order was already made and picked up... meaning that it was stolen.... That tells me that your placement of where orders go is unacceptable and not monitored... Don't make an issue with your logistics mine and the customer's problem ... That is a waste of their time as well as my time and money. This time that it happened, I was fortunate enough that you were in a good enough mood to remake the order while I waited. However, I know that is not always going to be the case

Cuban sandwich is very good....if made per the picture with all ingredients. Mine today left out all produce and was quite dry. Very disappointed. AND I wanted to buy 2 small Cinnabons. Prices are OUTRAGEOUS! Overall this location was quite "different" from others.

Edit: Thank you Schlotzsky's, sorry I didn't see your reply until now. Also, I added another star because of Jennifer's awesome service. The rest of the team at this location could stand to learn a thing or two from her! I always love Schlotzsky's food, but, at least at this location, I don't understand how these people CONSISTENTLY get my order wrong whenever I order pizzas for my family. Literally 40-60% of the time, they either put some or all of them on flatbread when I order all of them on pizza crust, or they sometimes give me the wrong pizza altogether. Is it that hard to read an order? It doesn't matter who's on shift either, they all do it. I don't know who the manager is but you need to step it up. Y'all are getting orders wrong more often than Burger King, and that's saying something!

I had the sandwiches delivered. They are great when you pick up your order in person, but twice in a row, they've not been as good...things like no meat on one side, missing ingredients. Pick up is definitely the only way to go at this location.

The food is always good and has been for years. The 3 star rating has to do with the experience created by your team. I work in the customer experience space, so maybe I am more sensitive to this but simply acknowledging a customer who presents is not hard. Even with a mask you can tell when someone is smiling. These are controllable behaviors that can be hired for and subsequently reinforced/modeled by store leadership. Provide a script and ask your team to make it their own by giving them a list of themes to cover with a guest. For example friendly, inviting, curiosity and so on to ensure they hit on these. I don't blame the young man, who helped me last night, for this but rather the leadership that allows it to happen. He also nearly missed an opportunity for an up sell by the fact he found the order set it on the pick up counter and moved on to something else. I got his attention and told him I would like some cinnamon rolls as well, which has much to do with the display staring you in the face. To that he said "Oh what is your name", and I explained it was not on the order but just wanted to purchase them in addition to the order. One final point on your CX efforts. Your website could use an update to the online order UI, it is much too complex for something as simple as ordering food.

I love Schlotzkys food but place needs to get it together. They’re ALWAYS forgetting something in our order, or if that’s not the problem then there’s some issue with food being out or not prepared right. I try to avoid this location as much as possible.

I like schlotzskys but will not be returning. Ordered asked for extra meat never have before. Was disappointed when she wanted to charge me extra for both kinds of meat that come with this sandwich i ordered. Sad very sad. The sign says $2 for extra meat not 2 for each meat that comes on the sandwich.

First time at this particular location... you ever order in the drive thru and then get your food and wonder if they were all stoned inside? That was today. We ordered sandwich meals but only got one sandwich. Both drinks, one wrong, and chips came out though. Got a salad that should probably be changed... but i know that has nothing to do with the location, it's just not a good combination of things. It would've been better if they had given me the right dressing too... wasn't a very satisfying lunch at all. Can't say i wouldn't go back necessarily, I believe in second chances but that's it! Lol

Their bread is amazing! Got my veggie sandwich on a sourdough and omg the bread was so delicious. The sandwich though was very bland and below average. Would I come back? Probably to try their soup but not the sammies!

I had to go back the the drive though because it was a wrong. Again. Every time I go them they get it wrong. And the salad is mediocre at best. The size is much smaller, less chicken, , less pecans et all, changed the salad dressings. The girls are nice enough. I'll go to new on Ronald Reagan. Give them a chance.

I got the Wednesday offer, buy one get one pizza free and it was not good . It had very less topping compared to usual and a sour taste. The sugar cookie which came with kids pizza was shapeless and did not feel like good. 😕 Pizza were best here but today too disappointing

I'm a huge fan of Schlotzsky's food, but I'm not a fan of the service at this location. I would love to be refunded for the tip I left as well as the $2 worth of avocado I paid for but did not receive. I ordered for pickup online and arrived five minutes after it was supposed to be ready. There were folks busy working in the back and that was fine. They would look up and see me standing at the counter (because my order wasn't ready yet), but no one had the common courtesy to at least acknowledge my presence or just say, "Hi, we'll be right with ya.". Finally a young lady came up and asked how she could help. She then disappeared in the back. A minute or so later another another young lady appeared and repeated the process. The second lady reappeared with a bag for me. I checked my order and had to go back in to get the chips that were missing from my order. It wasn't until I got home that I discovered they failed to provide my $2 worth of avocado. I've worked in customer service / support for 30+ years. I hope the folks working at this Schlotzky's don't plan on making a living in this industry or get a manager who will hire and train less apathetic people.

Well, we usually love Schlotzsky’s but today we were really disappointed. First, we were told (by this store location) that The Rancher brisket sandwich was a permanent on their menu now so we went there specifically for this and find out that they aren’t serving it anymore. Then we order our 3 kids the kids pizza (they love it!) and get home to find that the personal pizza is now half of a pizza. 3 tiny slices! It was the same price but not much food. I’m pretty upset and my kids were still hungry when they finished. I hope that they change the kids menu back to the original.

The food is great. The reason I give this location 2 stars is because they usually get my order wrong at the drive through. How hard is it....original with NO OLIVES. Check your order before you leave the drive through. I’ve never had a bad experience when I eat inside.

It's crazy to pay $15 for a small sandwich and a drink. And then they ask on the screen if you want to tip! For what? To bring my sandwich to the table! My small sandwich was good, but not $15 good!

I love Schlotzskys. However this particular one is not good. The food is always inconsistent, and I get the same thing almost every time. Its always a gamble weather or not they will decide to make your food right. Today I added a bowl of soup along with my sandwich. I don't know if they only have one size for to go or what, but its really tiny. Fine, cool. But also its not even full. Its like 1/4 empty. This location is close to my home, but I'd rather not waste my money there anymore if they really don't care about the food they prepare. Its not just about the soup, I've had SEVERAL other issues with them in the past. I'm done. Lesson learned.

I went to get lunch one day on 7/22 at 12 the girl at the counter didn’t want to help me and said someone would be up soon… I wait no problem.. then acted like it read a big inconvenience to help me while she was looking at cookies or something on the back bar. She asked me what I wanted for my meal 3 times pick 2 fiesta no olives and avacado Cobb salad ranch. I ordered to go and asked if I could leave my items drink and chips on the counter while I run to the restroom. She says sure I guess and walks away… still not that big of a deal kind of rude but I didn’t mind… I get my drink and chips and wait by the kitchen side of the restaurant. I wait a good 10 minutes or so, A man starts telling me how he has been waiting forever. Mind you they are doing a catering order again fine I get they are busy. The man goes to the counter and asked how much longer on his food she grabs a bag from behind the bar and says here you go and walks away…. He told me he had been waiting there and no one ever called his order out. I wait another few minutes driver through orders I can see are going out … so I do what the man did go to the bar and ask the status of my order… I wait no one comes right away… the girl doing cookies finally walks over and says yeah? Did you need something… I asked if my food was ready and she proceeded to grab it from behind the counter! Again no calling out a name or anything not even in an area where I can check the bag to see if that was my food it was tucked behind the bar… I leave because I gotta drive back to work and I had been waiting for 25 to almost 30 minutes from ordering. I call the store while I’m going to work no answer. So I save my receipt and called when I got off sometime after 5.. I get put on hold 2 times… than I finally inform of my issue… she asked what time I was there I told her I ordered about 1225 she puts me on hold again.. comes on the line asked me again what happened I tell the story again she then said oh we had a catering order I’ll refund you and hung up on me… now it’s 8/5 and I have not seen a refund come to my card I waited 5-10 business days and still nothing very disappointed in their customer service

Don't come here! The food is prepared poorly (half filled soup, ingredients only on half the sandwich - just 2 examples). Worse Geoffrey the manager doesn't care and is unwilling to do anything to make it right. Go somewhere else that actually wants your business.

Ordered a Turkey original and got ham on sourdough... literally just ham on sourdough and I don't eat ham. Also asked for hot sauce and pickles and the guy said sure thing I'll be right back and after 4 minutes a young woman came to the window and asked if I had gotten my food. I told her I was just waiting for hot sauce and pickles and she apologized and handed them to me in less than 15 seconds. I have no idea were the guy went.

I bought the south western chicken salad and it had no southwestern taste at all. Even the ranch was tasteless. I also bought the center of the roll and it had no gooey creamy to it at all very dry. Very disappointed, will not be returning any time soon. There are better places to spend my $17.00 dollars.

After ordering our food as dine in and taking our number we sat and waited for 20 minutes. I got up to go ask what was taking so long for two sandwiches, as the restaurant was empty. Our food had been sitting on the counter in to-go bags, unannounced, for 15 minutes. I'd understand if they were busy and didn't know who the food belonged to, but it was only us and they did nothing while our food got cold and soggy. Doubt we'll go back.

Every menu item is covered with something spicy. All the food is now southwest style. The fantastic Shlotzkys of my youth with traditional deli flavor and flair have flown the coop. Will never return there

I never review but.. bought cinnabons here for a Vday surprise today. TERRIBLE. Hard as rocks. I even asked before i ordered if made fresh. Oh, yes. Total garbage with too little messy icing slapped on top. Waste of time,$

atmosphere was very awkward i over heard the manager in the afternoon threatend e mployee, i also heard she favors certain people i dont know if i would come here again especilly from what i over heard or on how i saw how she treated her employee

I ordered a cobb salad and received lettuce and croutons. It had no bacon, avocado, cheese or egg. It was nothing like the cobb salad I have received from other locations. It looked half eaten. I was unsure if it came out of the trash. The blue cheese also looked half consumed. I did not eat it. I called the location and the manager hung up on me. Update: manager contacted me via email to offer me a $5.00 credit. In addition, I can stop by and get a meal for free if I tell them I’m “On the complaint list”. This is real.

I ordered food for pick up . I drive into the pick up parking spot and they let me know that they weren’t able to send one of their team members out with my food so that I have to get into the long drive thru line . I let them know that if I would’ve known that I would’ve simply ordered through the drive thru and not the website . Here I am 20 minutes later and I’m still in line waiting for the food I ordered 30 minutes ago but because they can’t send a team member out and the lobby is closed then I have to wait here in this ridiculous line

Had a moble order and came through the window. They told me to park on the other side and someone would bring me the food. 10 minutes go by, and nothing happens. I go inside, and the food is it just sitting on the food rack. Don't tell me someone is gonna bring it to me and have me sit here wasting my time. I am huge fan of Schlotzsky’s. This location use to be my go to for a long time. However over the period of time, their quality and service have absolutely gotten worse. The sandwiches are completely soggy and it seems some new comer just putting the fillings in randomly and not even bothered about placing them rightly. Pizzas have uneven placement of ingredients. The one on 183 and 620 is much much better and better food quality.

Ordered 2 cinnabons and they were absolutely the smallest cinnabons I've seen. We ordered a few days ago and they were great, but today...waste of money. Will not go back. Ordered through Uber Eats and they won't do anything about it.

I’m a huge Schlotzsky’s fan - dine there at least once per week... I just ordered the broccoli- cheese soup costing $4.79 plus tax along with a small original and drink. I hadn’t eaten lunch and went for a walk to celebrate the upcoming mask mandate. I was so hungry I ate the soup which was the consistency of water, leaving a little and showed the Mgr when I refilled my soft drink. Mgr said well you ate it. She showed me a small sample that was much thicker than what I received??? Huh?! She said I don’t know what you want me to do! I said it’s called customer service. She said “the customer isn’t always right!” Sorry. You lost my business. I’ll go to the new location. I have not written a negative review in years...until now

If I can get this place zero stars, I would. I have been to this location twice and the cinnamon rolls are horrible. I don’t know if they recycle the cinnamon rolls and save them for another day but they’re always looking not fresh and they have no taste to it they taste stale. I will not be coming back to this location. The best location that has really good cinnamon rolls, will be the location on IH 35 and Palmer. Such a shame that I have to drive so far to get good food.

Don't go here. The service was lazy, they put in no effort to answer questions. They gave me the wrong food and completely watered down soda which I didn't discover until I drove home. Multiple attempts to call the restaurant went unanswered. They do not care about their customers. I've managed a similar restaurant before and I would be absolutely embarrassed and ashamed if my team sucked that bad. The manager should be fired and the team should be retrained.

Ordered sandwiches no olives due to allergies. Sandwiches were packed with olives. Re ordered food. Food came again covered in olives. Receipts clearly said no olives. This location is a joke.

Repeated issues with this location, and they are spoiling the brand value. We waited for more than 1 hr for pickup where in my order pickup time is by 6:15 PM and the order has been placed well ahead thru app Team there has made such a worst pizza i have never had in my life. also all the options added like mushroom, avocado are been missed which is not the first time. This restaurant team has to be trained well and be more on time in preparing orders and also accuracy of food and options needs to be taken care. Missing topping, over cooked pizza, imperfect slicing out, one sided toppings., unprofessional team., hell LOT of issues .. one of the other which is happening every time visit. When we opened the box we ere shocked to see the way pizzas were prepared and packed, wondering how confident and fearless they were serving such food to customers.

Don’t dare to try this place. We are a huge fan of Schlotzsky's food, and have visits we t locations but I'm completely upset of the service at this location. It such a. Bad food we received. worth of pizza we paid for but did not receive. I ordered for pickup online and arrived 30 minutes after it was supposed to be ready and waited in restaurant for close to 1 hour to pickup my food. There were folks busy working in the back and that was fine. They would look up and see me standing at the counter (because my order wasn't ready yet), but no one had the common courtesy to at least acknowledge my presence or bothered to ask about the order or convey the time it’s going to take. After I picked up It wasn't until I got home that I discovered they failed to make the pizza correctly and also many of the toppings like mushroom, Peppers, olives, avocado were missed completely . Believe folks working at this Schlotzky's location are not trained well both in kitchen and at front desk service for this industry and they need to get a better manager who will hire and train them well to prepare more accurate food and serve better the customers.

food was rotten. plain and simple. called the location and chelsea was short and completely uninterested in helping me what so ever. never asked for a refund only wanted a replacement and offered to turn in the old sandwich. she automatically assumed i was just trying to get a free sandwich or money or something because she refused to replace or refund anything and refused to even let me send her the pictures showing the brown cucumbers. claimed that she had cut the cucumbers herself so there was “no way” they were rotten. they are brown and bitter. sounds rotten to me. had to throw it away. had to call corporate just to get anyone to listen to me.
