Hey Ladies and Gents, it’s been awhile since I’ve posted and today we’re at a place called Celebration Town Tavern. This is a place for tourists and Disney aficionados that love great seafood served “Boston” style. Now I grew up with Nan who was born in Boston and loved her baked beans. I had the baked beans with my meal and the nostalgia came flooding back. The atmosphere is pretty amazing and food was awesome. We both had the special which was the Haddock which included one side… I had, obviously, the Boston baked beans, mash potatoes with my Haddock and my fiance had French fries for his nostalgic fish n chips. For an appetizer we had a huge plate of onion rings, they cut one onion and deep fry that puppy to perfection! The service is top dog and friendly too. Usually this place can be busy and have a wait.. during tourist season but we got in relatively early and no waiting. They have indoor and outdoor seating available and accommodate service dogs- not emotional support animals. There is a difference. I’m pretty happy we chose this place to try something new!
Celebration Town Tavern is one of those places where everything just feels right — cozy, friendly, and full of genuine charm. The seafood is fresh, the portions generous, and the staff make you feel like a regular from the very first visit. The atmosphere inspired me so much that I wanted to create a few personalized, high-quality photos for them — to capture their spirit and help attract even more guests. I truly wish this wonderful place continued growth and success
How great it was to have been met by Cheryl a fellow NewJersian as our server. She was so familiar with our area and spent time chatting with us. The fried clams were great and shipped from Boston! Other food was so good too!
Celebration Town Tavern has always held a special place in my heart. When I lived in Orlando, I used to go almost every week, sometimes to watch games (including the 2022 World Cup and other sports), and sometimes just to enjoy the atmosphere. They always treated me incredibly well. As someone with a gluten allergy, I truly appreciate how they consistently accommodated me with care, making sure everything was safe and comfortable. Even now, living in another city, I still go back to visit whenever I can; and I always recommend this place to tourists and friends. The photo I’m sharing is of a little heart-shaped chicken I was served; a cute reminder of how thoughtful they are. I have so much affection for this place, and I genuinely feel like the feeling is mutual!
The food is Amazing!! Tender, Tasty, More than enough portions. Debbie the server, what a such sweet lady. We really love the place and the food. Great atmosphere.
Me and my family really enjoyed dinner. It's a Boston based Tavern, great menu, seafood and bar style food. The community was lit up with lights for the holidays. Can't wait for round 2 next Florida vacation 🤩
Had lunch today at Celebration Town Tavern and it was fantastic 🤩. I ordered the lobster roll plate and everything was spot-on. The lobster was fresh and tender, the bread was soft with a nice toast, and the fries were hot and crispy 🍟🦞. Even the coleslaw was delicious, crunchy and well-seasoned, not too heavy. Service was excellent too. Our server was super friendly, quick, and made great recommendations 👏. You can tell the whole staff cares about making sure guests have a great experience. Prices are very fair for the quality and the portion you get 💵✅. Great food, great service, and a welcoming vibe... definitely a place worth coming back to! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Wow, what an expansive menu, just so many things to choose from. Food was fresh and high quality. The fish i got was freshly battered and fried. Terrific soups. The homemade baked beans and hotdogs are awesome too.
Service was quick and food was delicious. The atmosphere always reminds me of a Boston smaller restaurant but bigger. Music Triva was going on at the time we were there. Great time.
We enjoyed a great brunch here. Good choice range menu. I loved the protein bowl. It was full and flavoursome. Our server was really friendly and efficient.
One of the best restaurants in/around the Orlando area. We always make it a priority to eat here when visiting. The food is fantastic, selection of beers wide and varied, and service is fantastic. Other than their lobster, the ribs and onion rings are superb. Although, portion sizes are large, so make sure you’re hungry!
We've lived in FL for 20 years but are originally from Cape Cod so we're picky with our fried clams & chowdah. This place has it down! The clam chowder was delicious with good consistency and color. The fried clam bellies were great - sweet, crispy, lightly battered so you taste the clam not the batter. We will be back. They took stuffed quahogs off menu but would love to see them put back on - even seasonally. Great waterfront to walk off fried food afterwards.
Great food and service. Fun atmosphere. Great value
Love this place. Always crowded but a great time. New England style food.
Always wanted to come to celebration the town and the tavern is a great part of it i was in the outside bar which I loved just super chill vibe a couple of big screens showing sport great selection of lager on draft and couple of Halloween specials I was try the local beers in what ever country I'm in Always got the experience something different later in the day I went to inside bar which was cool also great family atmosphere everyone knew each other I had food fish n chips loved them and another couple of 🍻 just loved the place definitely be back
Cold-water lobster 🦞 roll & clam chowder are my favorites. My son was happy with his burger & we tried the ribs. They weren't my favorite, but I'm a little picky and a bit of a food snob. 😂
Excellent food, super friendly and fast service. Nice patio seating with a lovely view of Celebration Town Center. The bacon cheeseburger was huge with tons of bacon, high quality meat and cooked to perfection! Best burger we'd ever had. The fries were crispy and delicious too, and a generous portion. The second time we went, we ordered the ribs and they were spectacular! Definitely will be coming back whenever we are in the area.
Great place if you want to relax walk around have dinner and go for ice cream with the kids. There is a fall and winter festival that has leaves and fake snowfall which is so beautiful and makes the town magical!
This place was great. It was definitely a New England feel. Good vibes. Everyone was pleasant. There is indoor and outdoor seating. Perfect location with a view of the peaceful lake. The food was good portions and delicious.
No one does the hot lobster roll like them. Lots of food you won’t go home hungry, and delicious. Great beer selection.
This is probably the best spot to eat in Celebration! If you're from Boston, you're in for a treat! Highly recommended!
Whenever I'm on vacation in Orlando, I make sure I visit the Tavern in Celebration. The food is outstanding and the service is as well. Reasonably priced, it's well worth the trip. ❤️
I’ve eaten here a few times and it’s never disappointed me or anyone that I’ve been with. I got the Bison burger and baked potato and my wife got the fried clam strips with a bake potato and we shared a plate of onion rings. The onion rings are fresh and made in house, not something from a bag in the freezer isle. They are great. Both meals were really good too. There is a reason this place has such good reviews and has been in business for so long.
Happy Hour shout-out for the little mentioned, but greatly appreciated Monday-Friday special. Food here is always excellent with service to match, but add to that Happy Hour discounts, it's worth showing up early! Big thanks to Brian and all the other great bartenders for their service.
After going through Disney parks for days, it was nice to come to a family owned restaurant. Daniel our waiter was fantastic, so good in fact I thought he was part of the family! STARTERS: French onion soup was one of the best we’ve ever had. Cheesy, bready and the broth was outstanding. The buffalo lobster dip was exactly like a chicken buffalo dip but with massive chunks of delicious lobster. We also got the beer cheese pretzel sticks which were fluffy and the cheese was nice and creamy. ENTREES: Two of our party got the stuffed shrimp (pictured) and both of them loved it, massive shrimp with plentiful amounts of stuffing to complement it. Two of us also got the jump seafood scampi (pictured) (per our waiters recommendation) and were blown away by not only the generous portion size but also by the amazing flavor in all parts of the dish. Personally, I had the Hot Lobster roll (pictured) and couldn’t have asked for anything better, high quality lobster, lots of butter and as tender as you could ask for. My son has the kids chicken tenders which was nice and golden fried (about 4 pieces of chicken) and handful of fries. Portions were so generous we had zero room for dessert unfortunately but everything else was an A+. Can’t give enough props to our waiter Daniel who brought it from an A to an A+. Outstanding knowledge about the cuisine and super friendly. Can’t recommend this place enough for anyone looking for a casual place for outstanding seafood.
Everything here is delicious and fairly priced. Our server Matt was great. True to it’s theme the food is authentic to New England and offers a variety of options. Close to the parks, definitely coming back.
The food and service were wonderful. The Turkey Stacker was delicious. Everyone in our group of six thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The New England theme was well exchanged. Will definitely be back!
A truly amazing beautiful and relaxing place you could ever want to go to, America at it's best, nothing better than a caramel latte by the lake.
Dave was our amazing server and we had a stellar experience! The food was good, the atmosphere was good, and the service was good! We had brunch Bloody Jack's, breakfast tacos, and fish n chips... And everything was positively delicious!
This place is absolutely amazing!! The food is always on point. The gator bites are my favorite, followed by the lobster chowder. Was completely flabbergasted by the lobster waffles on the weekend brunch menu. I’ve been coming to this wonderful location for months now and it never disappoints. A must try!!!
I’m not a regular here, but I come here often for important gatherings. The last time that I came here was to meet my future daughter-in-law and her family, which was very heartwarming. Today I’m here to meet my coworker and prefer Lender. I am a real estate broker in which I use a restaurants and other form of neutral sites to meet with people and this summer around I’ve brought my son to meet her son for lunch as well. As always is very welcoming the ambience as family oriented. The servers are very friendly and the food? Oh! The food is great. Fresh, juicy, and exactly as you expect. Is plenty of parking space unless is dinner time where this part of town is highly visited. But always amazing. 🤩. I highly support this establishment.
Perfect Day for Outdoor Dining in Celebration We couldn’t have asked for a better day to enjoy a meal outside, with an awesome view of downtown Celebration. We ordered the warm Lobstah Roll with fries and a cup of Clam Chowdah, and everything was spot on. The lobster was perfectly cooked and tender, and the chowder was creamy with plenty of real clams—just how it should be! Our server, Jill, went above and beyond, making sure we had an amazing experience. She’s awesome and really added a personal touch to our visit. They also had a lot of cool merchandise, like Celebration, FL drinking glasses, copper Moscow mule mugs, and Boston cups. Definitely a nice touch for anyone looking to take home a unique souvenir. Highly recommend this spot for great food, a relaxing atmosphere, and some fun local finds!
Recently, I had the pleasure of dining at Celebration Town Tavern, and I must say, their lobster rolls are a game-changer. Truly, they're the best I've had outside of Maine. It's not easy to find a lobster roll that hits the mark the way theirs does—packed with flavor, just the right amount of mayo, and those buns, perfectly toasted. It's a little taste of New England right where you'd least expect it. The chowder, too, was exceptional. Rich, creamy, and brimming with chunks of seafood, it's exactly what you'd hope for on a menu that boasts New England classics. Now, about the bartender. At first, I found his manner a bit abrasive, which caught me off guard. But it didn't take long to learn he's from Boston, and suddenly, it all clicked. That straightforward, no-nonsense attitude is part of the charm, it turns out. So, don't let it put you off—seriously, he's actually a cool guy once you get past the initial impression. Beyond the food and the unique character of the staff, the tavern offers a great selection of beers, which complements the dining experience beautifully. The atmosphere is just as appealing—comfortable and inviting, making it a great spot to unwind and enjoy some top-notch fare. Everything about Celebration Town Tavern was great. It's a place that effortlessly combines excellent food, a good drink selection, and a cozy vibe. Definitely worth a visit for anyone looking for an authentic taste of New England cuisine and hospitality.
My parents and I went on Saturday at lunch time to celebrate my dad's 80th Birthday. We had an amazing waiter, Daniel, who hit the perfect balance of service and great personality and engagement with us. The food was delicious, though my dad didn't like the seasoning on the lobster. My mom enjoyed the steak tips and my grouper fish tacos were delicious. We ordered a Boston cream pie for dessert, which is my dad's favorite dessert. The cake was dry and the chocolate ganache was bot very fresh but my mom LOVED her key lime pie. The onion rings were crispy and the breading did not fall off. Very tasty.
Thanks to Brigitte, excellent service, very friendly and smiling. There should be more people like her in restaurants. We had an excellent experience, the food was delicious
Perfect place to meet friends, watch the game, or hang at the outside bar and watch what is happening in town. The chicken sandwich and the cheeseburger sliders were fantastic.
I got here at 7:30pm, they say us down with in 2 mins. I left to the restroom to wash my hands & once I got back I started a timer on my phone . Our server got there with in 5 mins , ordered our drinks & also put our food in at the same time . The food took 10-15mins tops . The wings are really really good. I asked them to be crispy & they were perfect . My wife ordered a Bacon Cheeseburger! She said it was super tender & was made to perfection! We will definitely be coming back & will recommend The Tavern to other friends & family members ! Thank you to our server Miranda !
We were visiting nearby and came back for their specials two more times. Service was great, food was exceptional and the manager even stopped at our table to help us with cracking our lobster! Highly recommend eating here!
Love, love, love this place! Our 3rd year coming here during our winter respite from northern Wisconsin. What can I say except it's fabulous! We've only sat at the outside bar....never inside the restaurant.....but we love the outside area. Bartenders are exceptional - super friendly, always spot on with their service and getting more refreshments and taking food orders. Bar fills up quickly during Happy Hour so we always make sure to arrive early. Just a great atmosphere all around.
Great food and service. We wanted to try somewhere new for dinner at the end of our disney trip before we drove home and found this place via reviews. Very much worth the short drive, especially for seafood lovers. Very authentic northeastern fare, which is also a nice change of pace from typical Florida style of seafood.
Fish and chips were good, but none of it was hot....just a little warmer than room temp. Sent one pice back because it had no battery on it. The new piece came out hot and perfect. Now the Brownies dessert?....AMAZING! Save room for it. Hubby got the ribs, they were really good. Rating would be 5 star if the temp had been right. It is loud as you would expect a tavern to be.
We started with some mudslides (virgin for me) awesome! Lobster chowder: good chunks of meat very flavorful and clam chowder was ok. Got the buffalo shrimp 🍤 with blue cheese dip again delicious next we had twin crab stuffed lobster tails yum! The service was on point and he was super friendly
Met friends today for lunch at the Celebration Town Tavern and the atmosphere was fun and lively. The service was professional and friendly. The food was pleasing to the eyes and very delicious. I do plan to go back soon.
Just like eating at Cape Cod MA 😋 I got the seafood combo with Boston baked beans and sweet potato mash it was all perfect yummy 😋
I had clam chowder and clam strip dinner with fries and coleslaw. Chowder was great as well as clams and fries. Coleslaw was a bit bland with little flavor, probably choose another option than that.
Tourist trap prices, food was decent but the lobster roll kinda sucked for a lobster rolI(lobster was stringy and obviously not fresh) wouldn’t go back, just isn’t worth the $130 I spent for two people for lunch without any drinks.
My order wasn't complicated. Melted Tuna sandwich but I asked to change the cheese from American to Swiss. Guess what? It came with American cheese. Sandwich is small, tuna not fresh. Salad was good though. I wouldn't go again.
This restaurant is my favorite place when I vacation for the month. I got a lobster casserole that couldn’t be better. The hostess sat us at table, in was in the bar, no one asked if we minded to sit there, I just sat quietly. Waiting on a server to arrive took about 10 minutes, something about a shift change ? At the bar there were 4 guys I heard them say they were from Chicago, they were as loud as could be, and swearing, you know like a bar. The table I was sat at, my view of the Men’s bathroom door, a very busy door in a bar. I had a knot in my stomach the whole time there. I almost walked out, but my wife said let it go. Food was hot and delicious. Will I go back ? Yes with instructions to the hostess I will not sit in the bar. The meals aren’t cheap, but the food is great. A less than nice time, I should have left after sitting for 10 minutes and no server yet. Someone should inform the hostess to ask if it’s ok if we were seated in the bar versus spreading the customers evenly to each waitress
Consistency is key. 9 pm on a holiday weekend, a playoffs game, and the kitchen closed an hour early! Sorry I use to love this place. It’s changed. I miss the older parents who tab this business with service being the goal. Now it’s all a show of status with less consistency. It says the kitchen is open until ten. I’m not asking more than what you advertise. Must be nice being rich.
Celebration Tavern is hands-down one of the most poorly run restaurants I’ve encountered and a complete disgrace to its Massachusetts roots. We called earlier in the day to be placed on the waitlist for 6:45, which was clearly a meaningless gesture designed to placate customers rather than actually manage seating. When we arrived, we were told there was still a 40-minute wait for indoor seating, with the only immediate option being outdoor seating in cold weather. When I asked if the outdoor area was heated, the host said the heaters weren’t even on — said casually, with zero apology or concern. That alone tells you everything you need to know about this place. No planning, no communication, no respect for guests’ time or comfort, and absolutely no concept of hospitality. This isn’t a busy night problem — it’s blatant incompetence and indifference. We walked out and went across the street to Reggiano’s of Celebration, where we were immediately welcomed, seated comfortably, and treated to an excellent meal with genuinely attentive service in a warm, inviting atmosphere. The contrast was humiliating for Celebration Tavern. Do not waste your evening, your money, or your patience here — Celebration Tavern is a mess from top to bottom. Reggiano’s is the clear choice if you actually want to enjoy your night.
