These chicken is really good, the employees are so nice and everything about it has a welcoming atmosphere. I’d recommend this place to anyone with family or even if you’re by yourself. Very crispy and very delicious.

Must have passed by this restaurant a million times, but I finally had time to go inside last night, and I am so glad I did. The food was filling and delicious. I ordered the Campero bowl with an empanada and flan. Everything came out fresh and fast. The woman who brought it all out was very courteous, too. If I see these restaurants while I'm out, I won't hesitate to go in now after this interaction.

Our first visit to Pollo Campero. Had seen all of the reviews and we were looking for something of better quality than some of the other Chicken chains. Pollo Campero did not disappoint!!! We were greeted warmly by the server behind the counter. She helped guide us through our choices (all excellent) and our food was ready (hot and fresh) in just a few minutes. The store was spotless (and there was actually a staff member cleaning the dining area while we waited to keep the area clean). We appreciated the fact that the boxes that the chicken and sides came in were all vented. Too many times you order food somewhere and it’s soggy by the time you get it home. We tasted the food as soon as we got home and it was amazing! The chicken was moist on the inside but crispy on the outside. It was so flavorful, too. For sides we ordered the yucca fries, sweet plantains and coleslaw. Each of the sides were equally delicious. We don’t order in chicken often, but when we do, Pollo Campero in Central Islip will be our new go to spot! Job well done…❤️❤️❤️

My visit to this place was a beautiful surprise. The fried chicken is among the best I've ever eaten. If I decide to sin by eating fried foods, well this is the place to do so. Customer service: excellent; Cleanliness: very good, to include the restroom; Prices: fair. Ambiance: relaxed fast-food place. I will return and recomend others to do so.

I enjoyed the salad options but would have liked the chicken to be available in grilled too. The entire family tried the chicken salads and they were delicious. We would buy those again.

Visiting the area and decided on food delivery. The chicken was great. The rice and mashed potatoes were good. The delivery was prompt and on time. I wished for more gravy and only take off a star because I live so far away and the limited dessert choices.

I made an order of 90pcs of chicken over the phone a day before and today I went to pick it up asked 3X if my order was complete and they said yes all the 3X. After 30 minutes when I was getting home I received a phone call from them saying that they forgot to give me a bag with 30 pcs. I had to go back and drive 30 minutes to get the rest of the chicken seen it’s for an event anyways I arrived there to pick it up they just leave the bag in counter with out receiving an apology or even extra pieces for a mistake that they made. It’s really frustrated I had to go back and forth for a mistake that wasn’t mine.

I got there 2 minutes before they closed but I order the food online ahead of time around 9:15 so there’s no excuse for giving a customer food like this! I get there and ask if the kitchen is still open and the lady gives me ketchup ?
