I met the owner, and he was welcoming to myself and friends. Cool vibe which is difficult on 57th street surrounded by offices and hotels. The pulled pork sliders were delicious.

What a great gem...we had an amazing brunch with a group of friends. The food was delicious, the service was top notch and the dessert was the cherry on top of a perfect Sunday. Dan thank you for making us feel special. We are looking forward to coming back!

Love coming here! The food is delicious. Vibe is great. The drinks are fantastic! Highly highly recommend. This is an incredibly special place. And happy hour is weekdays til 8! I love French onion soup—and this one blew me away. I even got a soft pretzel on the side. The Caesar salad is grilled!! So many awesome and delicious differentiators here.

We went in for an after dinner drink. Nice bartenders! The food looked amazing! We will be back for a cheeseburger with fries and pork schnitzel. And some football. Went back. Sweet potato fries were great! Stick to the drinks and the snacks.

Dropped in for some lunch. Had the firecracker shrimp. It was underwhelming, the shrimp were extremely breaded and looked like something from a grocery store box. I would have ordered more food but I observed something that I have NEVER seen at a restaurant. The cleaning lady literally rolled the NYC outdoor trash can thru the middle of the restaurant while people are eating. First thing I thought was where is the back door????? Customers should never see that!

Nothing about this place is as advertised. Food I ordered was half of what was on the online menu, no charging ports at the tables as listed on their website, and very loud music. No way is this a gastro pub. Food is not nearly as good. Mayonnaise on hotdogs?

Pretty awful experience (food and service) - We had to ask for waters three times before getting them. Steak was well done even though we ordered medium. After sending the steak back, we had to wait 20-30 minutes for a new one because the wait staff had miscommunicated with the kitchen. Kitchen thought we didn’t want the dish anymore, but we just simply wanted the right temp on the steak. On top of it all, unauthorized additional tip was added in addition to the 4% service fee they include into the subtotal. edit: After I reached out via email, the general manager refunded the tip and steak but did not refund the tax or the service charge on the steak. Thus, changed my rating from one star to two stars for this.

There’s plenty of other sports bars in the area that are more worth your time. Dead empty on a Saturday and $8 cans and $14 well drinks are wild. Check out cornerstone down the road instead.

Seven Cipher

This place was just not a good time at all. I had to walk out. I arrived at 4 PM on a Saturday to get something g to eat and sat for 30 minutes without anyone offering service. There was one person behind the bar who wasn’t tending to anyone, and no one greeted us upon arrival. We found our own table and sat waiting for no one to come serve us. Just complete neglect. It’s disappointing that in 2025, some restaurants still provide such poor customer service. We ended up going to Blooms Tavern instead up the block on 58th street. Seated by staff upon arrival and Had our order taken within minutes.

Came on Friday for happy hour with 4 coworkers, and the service was horrendous. We ordered drinks, and no one came back around for almost an hour, we had to flag them down to give them our food order and next round. Prices are misleading, outside chalkboard says $10 for beer and shot, but the charge was actually $11. We waited even longer to get the bill, that eventually had to get up and get myself, and was surprised by an automatic 20% gratuity added on the bill. Nowhere is it transparent on the menu or notified by server. Wouldn't recommend out of all the better establishments nearby.
