Oh man! What a place I ron chef did not to disappoint !👍😄 We had spicy crab and rock shrimp! And our hibachi. The sauce was homemade. Even the salad had a fruit dressing. That was amazing. Awesome place for custom hibachi and more

Celebrated the bros bday on 1/18. It was a tuesday so it eas pretty empty but we made reservations anyways. We had a blast. The chef was so funny and entertaining. He shot veggies in our mouths and lots of sake. The food was delicious. The chicken a little tough but the shrimp was perfect and the veggies and rice too. I had a white chocolate raspberry cosmopolitan drink, it was great. Overall my family and I had a great experience. :)

Came for a birthday celebration. The food was very good. Our Hibachi chef was fun, and very entertaining. He did a great job. The chef that came after him, and worked the next table over was dry, and boring. Glad we didn't get him. The service was good, but I never received my crab cake as an appetizer, They didn't add it to the bill, so I was okay. Other than that, I enjoyed myself.

One of the most important things a restaurant needs to maintain is "consistency". Iron Chef maintains a level of consistency in service, presentation and taste. Definitely a place to visit if you like Asian cuisine, either Hibachi style or standard table service.

Very enjoyable dining experience. The food is outstanding — full of flavor, well-made, honestly one of the best Asian meals I’ve had in the area! It would be great if the servers were a little more attentive and if the place got a small refresh in terms of maintenance and cleanliness. Despite those small things, the food more than makes up for it and I’ll definitely be back. Highly recommend

Beautiful atmosphere, good food and good service. Not sure why they present the bathroom like this on Christmas Day, at least put a curtain or something up so we don't have to see the broken pipe or cleaning supplies.

I give 4, mainly because the lady server was very nice and friendly and the atmosphere and interior was really nice. Food it self just ok. Ordered their shumay and crab rangoon. I love the crab rangoon but shumay was weird taste, i didnt like it. Taste like frozen shumay been in the fridge for more than months. LOL I ordered Toban Yaki - Beef. Its okay. Not bad, but I expect to be lil bit spicier. I asked for chilli powder they didnt have, I ended up putting pepper.

We were heading to the outlet mall and Iron Chef was the closest Japanese restaurant we could find. First impressions were great as it’s a nice stand alone building with a lot of character. Food was also good especially the teriyaki beef! What I really didn’t like was the super sticky and yucky wooden tables.

Visited family Upstate and everyone was craving hibachi so we decided to try Iron Chef. My boyfriend and I arrived earlier then the rest of my family, so we asked the man in front (possibly manager) if it was okay to sit by the bar and order food. He replied rudely asking “aren’t you going to eat Hibachi?”. I said Yes, but we want to start off with some sushi and drinks if that’s okay??? We sat at the bar, ordered some sushi and a French Martini. The sushi was very good and my boyfriend loved his martini. Our family came and since not everyone (2 people) weren’t there yet he wouldn’t let us sit down, guy was weird and got into a little awkward thing with my aunt but we let it go and sat down. At the table we ordered some more apps; we got the Rock Shrimp, Salmon Tapas, Crispy Tuna Rice, Spicy Tuna Roll, Angry Dragon, and a Tuna Avocado Roll. All were very good except the rice on the crispy tuna needed to have more rice it was super thin not enjoyable. For our main meals we got a mixture of filet mignon, shrimp, lobster, and chicken. With our meals they gave us fried rice, noodles, vegetables, and shrimp. Our chef was funny and entertaining. He cooked everything with extra garlic just like we asked him to. All our meals were delicious and tasty. Haven’t had good hibachi in a while so this hit the spot. If we’re ever Upstate again we will definitely be back!

I’m from Poughkeepsie, shop at Woodbury, and always pass “Iron Chef”. For years I wanted to stop and eat there. Well, on my birthday, 2/16 I shopped at Woodbury and stopped there. The environment was beautiful, and the food was amazing! However, the customer service was trash! When I first arrived I was asked if I was DoorDash. Dang, a lady can’t come eat dinner by herself! Then it took 13 minutes before someone attended to me. Super weird, it wasn’t even that busy. I asked if the side of lo mein came with vegetables, and she replied “yes”. I received my meal with water “finally”. The lo mein came without vegetables. I asked her what happened. She said “oh if you want vegetables it’s an extra $16!” I’m like huh!? I just asked you before and you said yes and now it’s an extra $16 for some vegetables? Ridiculous. I asked for containers and the bill and she seemed upset. I was departing and an Asian guy asked how was everything? I told him I came bc it’s my birthday and I can tell he felt bad for how I was treated from the beginning. He insisted for me to sit at the bar and made me a delicious drink in the house. That made my night bc I was already sad spending my birthday by myself. I would go back for the food and take it out. I would not eat there tho.

We go about once a year. Service can be slow. But the food is good and we always enjoybit.

We went there two weeks ago. Food was okay. We ordered hot food, Hibachi Shrimp dinner comes with Miso soup, salad and rice. Our waiter was kind. The place was stuffy, needs a better air conditioning. Restrooms were too tight and smelly, not so clean and fresh.

Family oriented place, you can bring your kids and celebrate your birthday. Do not expect for a perfect service, do not expect grate drinks and do not expect to see clean bathrooms. The food was ok. I do believe this place it’s over rated and there is a lot of work to be done.

I went in Iron Chef in Woodbury location and this restaurant was absolutely disgusting and completely unprofessional. The place was filthy — sticky tables, dirty floors, old food stains everywhere, dirty stained plates and an unpleasant smell throughout the restaurant. The bathrooms were unhygienic and clearly not cleaned properly. What made it even worse is that we were not allowed to finish our meal. While we were still eating, the staff started cleaning the floors and the hibachi hot table right in front of us. Watching them clean with chemicals and equipment while food was still on the table was beyond unacceptable. It was truly disgusting and ruined the entire experience. If the dining area looks this dirty and this is how they behave during service, I don’t even want to imagine what the kitchen looks like. Avoid this place. 🤮🤮🤮🤮
