Beautful restaurant. Staff was attentive and very kind. Good advice from our server Linder. We had the pulpo pamarilla (octuopus with mashed potato) which was excellent. Our 2nd dish was shrimp mussell Alfredo. So much shrimp and mussels and the pasta wass perfectly cooked.

Jorge gave us excellent recommendations for both our food and drinks. The catch of the day—dorado—was incredibly fresh and flavorful, and my grilled octopus was perfectly cooked with a tender, melt-in-your-mouth texture. The atmosphere is calm and relaxed, and the prices are very reasonable. Overall, a wonderful dining experience

British tourist couple aged 25-30 travelling around Central America. Dined at Azul Madera for a romantic celebration, the restaurant has a very classy atmosphere separated into outdoor and indoor air-conditioned areas in gorgeous lighting. We had 2 bottles of water, 1 cocktail, cheesy croquettes starter, squid ink rice grilled octopus and the fettuccine cheesy prawns which came to 990$MXN total. The food was well presented, with good portion sizes and delicious fresh seafood flavour. The waiters spoke perfect English and were attentive to our needs. Menu had lobster and catch of day options, pizzas, lasagne and tacos. Would wear smart casual. Would recommend.

If I could give this place 6 stars I would. The menu is thoughtfully designed with lots of options for everyone. Our server was considerate and we felt well taken care of. Everything was well made and delicious. Try the picanha taco. My bolognese lasagna was as good as what I have had in Italy. It was the best meal we had during our Mexico trip.

My partner and I dined at this restaurant whilst in Cozumel as part of our trip to Mexico in April. We totally loved it. The restaurant is located in a renovated traditional Mexican mansion and the architectural design respects the original layout with an innovative twist. The food brings European (specifically Spanish) influences to the Yucatàn tradition, and the service is very attentive and on the spot: our waiter really spoiled us. As you might see from the pictures we ordered octopus salad, and tacos as starters, and then steak and catch of the day as main courses. Everything tasted fresh, and well cooked. We really liked it and recommend future guests trying this restaurant!

Nice atmosphere. Friendly service. The food was very good, generously served and fairly priced. I was not blown away though. Not disappointed but not blown away. I wanted to celebrate my partner’s certification as a scuba diving instructor. We were happy to be in a different atmosphere but realized that we enjoy true local food better than fancier place so far in Mexico. I am still hoping to find a place which would blow my mind… I would recommend for a good quality meal in a very pleasant atmosphere without too high expectations…

Excellent cuisine, as always! The baked tomato appetizer is a must try. Watermelon Sugar cocktail is refreshing. Ladies - be sure to check out Chef Alex for some eye candy, too!

Really fantastic environment, food, and service. Wasn’t sure what to expect. The outside is a little deceiving in the best of ways. It just has a small, basic exterior, and then you walk into this oasis of a restaurant. My wife and I had the ribs with an Asian sauce. The cocktails were awesome. Food was reasonably priced. I love details. In the bathroom, there was an air freshener just above the fan on the wall. I appreciate the little things bc excellence is found in the details . The air staff were incredibly attentive and hospitable. Thinking about returning for a date night before heading back to the U.S. The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars was the dessert menu. My wife ordered the cheesecake. It tasted like a giant stick of butter. 🙃 I had the chocolate gonache dish. It was just ok.

If you are thinking about eating here, do yourself a favor and choose another restaurant. This was by far one of the worst dining experiences we have ever had and I would never recommend this place to anyone. We were greeted outside and seated quickly, which at first made us think the service would be good. That illusion ended fast. After sitting down, we waited over 20 minutes before anyone even asked what we wanted to drink — and that only happened because we had to call a waiter over. The staff was completely unorganized, unprofessional, and inattentive. To make things worse, a couple who sat down after us got their drinks and food before we were even offered water. This shows how poorly managed this restaurant is. When our food finally arrived, the disappointment hit a whole new level. Don’t be fooled by the presentation — the food was absolutely horrible and definitely not worth the $450 USD we spent. A plate of fish we ordered was so extremely salty and overly fishy that it was nearly inedible. When we brought this up to the waiter, his response was “That’s how it’s supposed to taste.” No apology. No solution. No care for the customer experience. For the ridiculous prices this place charges, we expected top-quality food, professional service, and a pleasant atmosphere. Instead, we got: • Extremely slow service • Disorganized and careless staff • Horribly overpriced, low-quality food • Unprofessional responses to complaints • A complete lack of customer care This restaurant is overhyped, overpriced, and overrated. We left angry, frustrated, and regretting wasting our time and money here. If you are looking for good food, fair prices, and quality service, this is not the place. There are much better restaurants nearby that actually care about their customers and serve food worth paying for. Avoid this place at all costs. You will save your money, time, and sanity by going somewhere else.
