A small, welcoming and intimate osteria nestled in the mountains where you can try the typical products of this region, served by extremely friendly staff. Being vegan, I rightly found the options limited, and I'm not complaining about that! The chef was very kind in trying to make some variations for me, and she also told me that if I had let them know in advance, she would have made gnocchi on the side. A fantastic experience!

Fantastic experience! My boyfriend and I went to Osteria Concarena last Saturday for lunch, and despite calling just before closing time, we were greeted with kindness and professionalism by the owners. The dishes were all carefully prepared with attention to detail and made with locally sourced ingredients... I'm not a big eater, but Flavia's touch in the kitchen is magical! The setting is the quaint village of Cerveno, which is worth a stroll, and the old mill next to the Osteria, which the owner pointed out to us and was the icing on the cake of our brief visit to the area... We hope to return soon!

Arriving at 2 pm, we were greeted almost like family. The place is truly rustic and simple, but with a touch of elegance that I particularly appreciated. The menu is simply fabulous, almost impossible to choose from the various options, all locally sourced and homemade with local products. I recommend everyone to visit this charming town and, of course, stop at this osteria 😋, also perfect for a coffee break. 5 stars well deserved! P.S.: Prices are affordable despite the high quality we're talking about. Osterias like this are becoming rare.

This is a "gem" we found after a morning of exploration at the Rock Engravings National Park. The food was way more than what we expected. Delicious carefully curated locally sourced typical dish. Not to mention the kindness and the courtesy of the owners. This is the place I will never get tired of dining in. Highly recommended.

We stopped at Osteria Concarena while passing through Cerveno on our way back from vacation. It was a stop almost by chance, but a very pleasant one. A simple place, the food is really good and of high quality, and the desserts are delicious. The owners are kind and helpful, making you feel at ease right away. The venison burger was a real hit. Recommended if you're in the area.

My girlfriend and I went for dinner this evening at Osteria Concarena, an osteria we found thanks to the Slow Food Osterie d'Italia guide, which, as always, doesn't disappoint. The restaurant is located in the historic center of Cerveno, a very charming place with narrow streets, stone, ancient arches and doorways—it's worth getting lost in. Park before entering the small town center, otherwise you'll have a hard time getting around by car. The interior, the only thing that could be improved in my opinion, is a bit bare and feels more like a bar than an osteria. With some decor, thoughtful lighting, and a better management of the space, it would be a truly lovely little place. The service was impeccable: simple yet friendly and fast; the chef herself would come over to check if everything was okay, etc. The cuisine was simple yet super authentic, featuring traditional dishes, platters of cheeses and typical cured meats, and a few more personal touches. Seasonal ingredients (pumpkin, chestnuts, leeks, cabbage, meat) and human-sized dishes. I'm not a big eater, so I ordered all three courses plus dessert. The dessert was truly delicious. Local wines and beers, liqueurs, and spirits are also available. I'll definitely be back when I'm in the area again.

The osteria is located in one of Cerveno's historic and most distinctive squares. The host and his wife (the cook) are very hospitable and attentive to their guests' needs. Their menu reflects the local area, featuring traditional dishes and using locally sourced ingredients! Respect for tradition is complemented by elegant presentation and a simple, relaxed atmosphere. Overall, it's an experience I recommend to anyone who wants to discover what the Camonica Valley has to offer in terms of cuisine! The osteria's only flaw: the dining room is a bit bare; the wall space could be used much better.
