Del Frisco's Double Eagle Steakhouse - Charlotte

The halibut is simply amazing Crudo was mediocre wont get it again but oranges were a good addition. The shrimp were great. Not too saucy. Enough heat.

We went in for Christmas Dinner. We had 7 o'clock reservations. We were seated on time. Although service started off a little slow, the server made up for it as the dining experience went on. They were very busy, yet, their food was prepared perfectly. My steak was seasoned and cooked exactly like I had ordered it. My wife and my father (he is a vegetarian, they made him veggie pasta) both commented on the deliciousness of the food and the service provided. We have a wine locker at another steakhouse....we might have to think about making Double Eagle our 1st choice moving forward. Great Job and Kudos to the staff and especially Sydney for making our dining experience fabulous.

★★★★★ Del Frisco’s in Charlotte, NC absolutely exceeded every expectation! From start to finish, the experience was flawless. The ribeye and filet were cooked to perfection—tender, flavorful, and easily some of the best steaks we’ve ever had. The au gratin potatoes were rich and perfectly cheesy, and the cream corn was hands down the best we’ve tasted. Every bite was incredible. A huge thank you to Anna for her amazing service—she was attentive, friendly, and made the entire evening feel special. Kudos as well to Manager Brad for running such a top-notch operation and ensuring everything was perfect. If you’re looking for an outstanding steakhouse experience in Charlotte, this is the place. We will definitely be back!

Kevin was stellar. Our bread arrived cold and he immediately replaced it. The octopus was tasty with some spice. The salads,lobster mac and potatoes au gratin were all good. My friends NY was a 9/10 but my chicken was awful. I mean really awful. See photo.The desserts were also fantastic. All and all a great experience but the chicken needs to come off the menu entirely. Kevin was great though.

The food at Del Frisco’s in Charlotte was excellent and honestly the reason this is still a four-star review. The wagyu filet was cooked perfectly, the lobster mac and cheese was rich and flavorful, and the truffle fries were easily a highlight of the meal. Unfortunately, the service really took away from the experience. Our server, Thomas, seemed in a hurry from the moment we sat down, yet it still took close to an hour just to get our drinks. The overall pace of service was very slow and felt uncoordinated, which was frustrating given the upscale setting and prices. We expected a much smoother, more attentive dining experience. We were celebrating a special occasion an in from out of town and hoping for a better experience.

Food was delicious, the waitress was not as good as I expected (rather hard to track down if we needed anything) and our booth did have a rip in the seat but other than that it was a good night.

I have been to other upscale restaurants in the area, so I had high hopes for this one. The restaurant is beautiful. We had a group gathering down in the wine cellar, which was amazing. All the service we received was top-notch. Everyone was welcoming and helpful. Most of the food was really good. Lot of variety and well prepared food. Our steaks were very salty, and several were undercooked for other guests with us. That would be my biggest issue, which is the main course not being perfect. Overall, it was a great place.

My first time coming here for my birthday. The food was excellent and my waiter Sasha was very good. Will be back soon!!!!

I had dinner at Del Frisco’s as a birthday surprise from my significant other, and overall it was a lovely evening. The food was good, the ambiance was beautiful, and the service was decent. The hostess greeted us warmly and even gave me a birthday card signed by the staff, which was a really thoughtful touch. However, both the person who walked us to our table and our server asked if it was actually my birthday. At the time, I brushed it off, but in hindsight, it felt a bit awkward like they were skeptical or maybe just used to people trying to get freebies. That said, we spent about $400 for two people and were surprised that there was no complimentary dessert or birthday acknowledgment at the table beyond the card. Other high-end restaurants we’ve been to usually offer champagne or a dessert to make the occasion feel special, even with lower checks. Still, we enjoyed the food and the atmosphere, but the birthday experience didn’t quite live up to the standard we expected for the price.

My sisters and I ate at this restaurant this past weekend for a birthday celebration, we had brought in a cake to cut and celebrate but was told no outside food was allowed which was understandable but if you all are going to make a rule or “policy” it definitely should be posted within the website just like the attire policy or even told before eating at the establishment. With that being said we were watched the entire time but staff with ear pieces I guess to see if we would cut the cake but as a adult we are well aware of rules/policies and know how to follow them which made us feel VERY uncomfortable and not welcomed to be there. Also I ordered the meatballs that were very cold & mushy, the manager or i should say waitress did discontinue my bill and mentioned the manager would speak to us but the manager did not address the concerns or come to apologize instead it was the waitress which was ANOTHER unprofessional act. My sister had got the crab cakes which was COLD but she chose not to speak up due the how we had already been treated. I will not visit this restaurant again due to the lack of attentiveness of the manager and cold food items, thank you!
