We stopped in after a doctor's visit for brunch. Everything just hit the spot. It wasn't busy, when we got there. However, as we were getting ready to leave it started to pick up. Service was great, food was awesome....

Strict mask rules and you must sign in. Good menu with plenty of options still. They have Gluten Free pancake and waffle options 🙂so happy and very tasty. Good seating separation. Good place to eat.

Food was great. Service was not very good. Our waitress never came back to refresh our drinks. I had to get up twice to ask for water. I was eating hot wings.

They're $5.99 special is plenty of food and their omelets are enough for two people. Always enjoy visiting there and the bathrooms have been redone and are clean. The coffee is okay but nothing special. And don't forget your senior discount.

This was a solid iHop. Clean, good protocols in place for COVID protection if that is important to you. And Mikell, my server was awesome. She never stopped moving and was attentive, professional and had a fantastic attitude. Very quick service and everything was as I would expect from a solid iHop.

Always yummy! Tried the cannoli pancakes! Got the combo the waiter pointed out because I don't eat alot of sweets. This way I got two eggs bacon toast hash browns also and two of the cannolis. But I couldve picked ham or sausage or combos there of. Great service as usual! Very helpful and patient considering I had two little wild men with me.

This facility was better than other locations that I have eaten. The service was fast and courteous. Almost a one woman show. She did have help from a cook. Bathrooms clean and overall site was clean.

We've been here several times. The last few times was very disappointing with the service. This visit was not! I wish I could remember our waitresses name. She was very friendly and EXTREMELY efficient!! She had a large area she was covering and not one time did she miss anything! At one point my husband had asked for creamer... we thought she had forgotten it only for her to show us she had set it right beside my husband and he didn't even notice. We eat out a lot and she is the best waitress we've had in YEARS!! Like I said I just wish I could remember her name!

My mom and I came here for a few Sundays to catch up and get together, that was 2 years ago. We have been coming here consistently every Sunday, and we've gotten to know one server very well, Sam. He is an amazing server and very friendly! When they had the iced coffee, he would sit us at "our table" and then come right back with our iced mochas and take our order. We still go every Sunday when I'm not working, and it's always an amazing experience and great food!

Our server Mickell was absolutely on point. Her customer service skills were amazing. She provided us with options for our meals and make sure we ordered what we wanted. Our order was correct. We ordered the turkey sandwich, bacon breakfast crepe and a steak omelet. Very generous portions and great taste. It was a great and positive overall experience.

Sam was my server this evening. He was very kind, professional, and was a very rare young gentleman with a down to Earth personality. He made me feel at ease after a very long day, which is quite refreshing to one's tired soul. The appearance of both the server and his section was very clean, uniformed, and inviting. I pray for the very best that life has to offer Sam as well as this IHOP location. This restaurant is amazing. The people are great! The wait staff and management work together to create an excellent eating experience and even though it was full when we got there, the wait was minimal and service quick and friendly. Definitely recommend this location!

This was our first visit to this IHOP location. Our sons love IHOP and we usually have a nice experience. This evening our server Terry was exceptional! She was kind, attentive, she took time to laugh and talk with our family without neglecting her other guests. Our 10 year old even remarked that she was a "doll" 😁 We will definitely be back!!

Loved my visit. I ordered the Swedish crepes combo. If you've never tried these delicious wonders, you need to ASAP. Anywho, the food was fantastic, our waitress was super nice and attentive even though it was busy. Job well done IHOP!!!

My husband and I came here after leaving the original pancake house which had over an hour wait. When we got here there were very few people so we were not expecting much. Much to our surprise our food was delicious and our server, Sarah, was amazing! I would recommend this IHOP to everyone!

Great ihop, good food , clean and nice service

Our service was exceptional. I ordered the breakfast sampler and all the items were excellent other than the bacon. It was soft and I prefer it crisp but in fairness I didn't request it crisp. The eggs were prepared perfectly, over and easy.

I was super impressed with the service here! Came for breakfast/ brunch during the church rush. I was starving and they let me know that the kitchen was backed up due to a large catering order. The food still came out extremely quick. Our server Terry was sweet and attentive. The manager was even kind! Will be back due to their amazing service!

It was our 1st time here and everything was perfect. My 8 yo granddaughter just had surgery and wanted IHOP when she could eat. Our server was amazing, she put in the order for my granddaughter 1st so she wouldn't have to wait for the rest of us to decide what we wanted. It was nice because little bit was so hungry.

Leniece was very pleasant, quick to respond and a pleasure to talk with - superb service! And of course, the food was great.

Stopped in for a quick dinner. We were promptly seated and waited on. Our server was named Cedric and he was great. Super polite and friendly. The food came out quickly and tasted just like it should, which was great. This is one of the cleaner and faster IHOP's I've ever been to. We will be back for sure.

This IHOP on Clayton has the friendliest staff I've been around in a long time and it was very refreshing. Greeted as you walk in the door, seated without a delay, friendly crew, friendlier waitress, willing to answer questions about the menu, food came out hot and tasty, just all around great service. I even heard the next table complimenting the waitress on her service. My only complaint was it was cold air blowng from the vents on a cold, snowy day. Their staff needs to be recognized for the great job they're doing with their customers.

There were plenty of parking around the restaurant. The restaurant was clean and busy. Staff were friendly. They brought us our food within 10 minutes. Food portion was large and delicious. I brought half of my leftover home. You also got 3 pancakes with your entree order. Price was reasonable for the food I got.

We have come to this locations several times and have had a mixture of experiences. During our last visit, our waitress was disconnected and impersonable. Every table she approached, it was the same mechanical greeting followed by shallow interactions. At one point, I had a floating "something" in my drink. After attempting to get her attention for several minutes, she finally came over. I was telling her the situation and what I wanted for a replacement when she turned to the table behind her and began talking to them. I was mid-sentence! We discussed it with the manager on duty as we were paying, and he apologized for her behavior. If the food wasn't why we were here, we might not have come back. Today, we came midday and were greeted by an enthusiastic and talented waitress. She is also a crew leader, according to her shirt, and I can see why. She took such good care of us, keeping refills on all of our drink orders (including the iced coffee!) and checking if we needed anything throughout the meal. When presented with coupons we had figure out how to use, she said, "Let's get you fed and we'll get that worked out in a bit!" The food was at our table, and hot, so quickly it surprised us. She said, "I don't play with my food!" Let's just say that she won our hearts back and IHOP retained customers because of her work ethics. Keep hiring and promoting from within employees like her! Oh, the food was good too.

The food look and tasted great we have a great server. Very friendly staff. Price was good. Went on farther day busy but not crowed. The wait wasn't to bad but they suck at calling people in order on the waiting list.

Was surprised this location was so slow at the time we went 10am -1040. Was seated quickly and our waitress was very nice. I ordered the Swedish crepes w/turkey bacon, my wife order sirloin tips and eggs, and my son had the Colorado omelet. The Swedish crepes and Colorado omelet were very good. My wife's sirloin tips were burnt, which was had to fathom since it wasn't busy. But our waitress took them off our bill. Overall a good visit.

As IHOP restaurants go, this one is pretty good. The staff is efficient, there's room to wait inside and outside, and the food is good, pretty much the same as every other IHOP in the universe. Obviously the place is insanely busy on weekend mornings. Plan on waiting if you want to patronize them during those times. Because the food is good and the service is even better, the restaurant is somewhat busy at all times. But it's pretty large so there isn't always the kind of wait you would have during weekend breakfast. Food is what you would expect any IHOP, focusing on breakfast but serving lunch and dinner items as well. Always hot, usually quick, and pretty tasty for what it is. Hard to go wrong here unless you have an aversion to waiting for a table.

Our server was amazing and she had the skills to boot. She had like 5 plates on each arm and could still pour coffee, all with a smile.

Waitress very kind, impressive how well they kept up with the line and turning the tables. They had plenty of staff which many restaurants don't. Food was good, however eggs and hashbrowns were not made to my request therefore removed one star.

Our visit was nice. Everyone was very friendly and kind. Customer service was great but our waitress was sorta loud. When she spoke to us or when she placed orders she was a little too loud for our taste. But other than that we left her a nice tip she had our food out fast and kept our drinks full. Good job...good job!!

My daughters and I frequent this location for Breakfast. But I want to highlight the Burgers at IHOB, they are surprisingly good! I don't ever plan on going there for a burger, but I have tried them twice and was very surprised. Give it a try!

Friendly staff. Pancakes were awesome as usual. Seafood platter was not flavorful at all. Ordered potato pancake and was extra crispy. Not alot of French fries was served with food. Just was not impressed by this visit.

I ordered a senior special of a BLT on sourdough bread with fries. There was two thin half slices of bacon, a very tiny piece of tomato and a very small thin partial lettuce leaf with very little mayo. The sandwich was very dry and the bread was very hard. It was one of the few senior meal choices to choose from for $10 and the sandwich was not worth $5. I was disappointed!

I thought kids ate free! The waitress was unable to inform me of if or when "kids eat free" is acknowledged at this establishment. Honestly, that's why I chose this restaurant to take my kid to for a special treat. We had a good time anyway and it was memorable for my kid.

As usual IHOP is crowded but they get you seated quickly. Very efficient and friendly staff. For as crowded as it was, it wasn't loud. We were a party of 4 and had no issues. Very comfortable seating and well lit. Clean tables and floors which is amazing considering how busy they are at breakfast time. Two of us ordered omelettes which were excellent. The order came with pancakes which were cold but oddly still tasted really good. We also ordered waffles and chicken, the chicken was strips. Very good choice. Someone also ordered the breakfast sampler, which is a classic breakfast of eggs, 2 meats, hash browns and toast. Overall, very happy except my cold pancakes...knocked a star off for that.

It's was busy...but had to ask twice for drinks..eggs where way undercook..ran out of coffee.. never seen waitress again..was just overall disappointment in the whole dining experience..and usually love I hop...but not this one... and it was 102$ for 4 of us to eat breakfast!!

The online ordering process is simple. However, the only option for scrambled eggs was with cheese or without; I couldn't add onions. I ordered the breakfast sampler which was ready at the time indicated. My order was correct but a little cold. The hashbrowns were the only item that was hot. The employees were friendly and helpful. If you have not tried the butter pecan syrup.....you don't know what you're missing! The food was cold, but again could have been hotter.

Wait staff very helpful and friendly. My ongoing complaint is the food. Prepared promptly and tasty, But IHOP cheats on portions they advertise 2 slices of bacon. Which is a fabrication. It looks like one piece cut in half. I eat breakfast at many places and they always leave me disappointed and hungry.

We used to go there all the time. Ir was quite disappointing. My turkey sandwich was really dry. My salad was old. My husband's eggs were cold. Originally he ordered broccoli with them. The broccoli had brown stuff on it. He asked for a replacement item and got the fruit. The strawberries were old. However, at least the grapes were edible. Overall, the visit was a disappointment. We enjoyed the pancakes!

There was only one server working. Service was friendly but very very slow. It took an hour and 40 minutes to get breakfast food for our group. By the time we were all served about half of us had cold food. On it's best day IHOPs food and service is average, so understaffing is just asking for the business to fail. Next time I want breakfast food at night we will just go across the street to Mimis.

Unfortunately not very good this time. I ordered the stuffed french toast because I was excited that they brought it back. When I finally sat down to eat. I realized that my French toast was NOT stuffed. It was completely dry and empty. The breading was thick and extremely dry and not very tasty. Loved the hash browns!!

I'm giving 2 stars due to the lack of customer service by the hostess Suzy. She is very rude, and un pleasant. We have been going there for many years and call ahead always. Since the previous hostess hasn't been there the front service is horrible.. however, the food is always great , And the servers are exceptional. They always go our of their way to greet our family even if they are not serving us that day. They lost our family as a loyal customer as long as I have to deal with Suzy.

With the uptick of public shootings in the recent years, signs like this one only serve to reduce your safety. These signs essentially serve to put a target on you. It would be better to have no sign at all as the signs only deter the law abiding citizen while letting the criminal know there is likely no one to challenge them. The waitress we had was very good. The food was also pretty good. I think it's a fine place to eat as long as you keep your reduced safety in mind.

I realize we had a very large party (14), but it was unacceptable that it took so long for them to tell me they couldn't serve me the salad I ordered because of the recall on romaine lettuce. Some of the others in our party were getting their food by the time they let me know. The recall has been going on for sometime so one would think it wasn't a newsflash that they had no lettuce! I did not end up eating there that evening becuae I figured my family would be more than finished with their meals by the time mine was served. VERY DISAPPOINTED!!!!

Arrived at 9:30 PM on 6-20-19, very hungry from a long trip. Understandably it was late, but they were open till 12, so pancakes from ihop sounded excellent. Walked in, no greeter, waited 5 minutes, still no greeter. Whole time standing there could see and hear workers laughing, walking around not minding the few customers in the establishment. Needless to say, we walked out and across the street where our money was welcomed and the food was excellent. Will NEVER be returning to this location!!

The worst experience if you are being served or taken an order by some racist lady named Susie. I think she was mad because I wanted beef sausages instead of pork. She lied to me at least 3 different times and told me it was beef when it was sausages and I’m allergic to pork. I recently found out that they only have pork polish sausages. She lied and told me she never said they had beef when in fact she did, more than once. Susie only wants your money and has absolutely the worst customer service to Black people.

One of the worst dining experiences. Food was cold, waiter never came to refill drink. So the service was pretty much nonexistent. I asked for a soda to go because it was $3 since I never could get a refill. Would not recommend or ever go back.

Service today was TERRIBLE waited 15 minutes before a manager came to our table to ask what we wanted to drink. A little later the waitress brings us our drinks and walks off ... we were ready to order before we got our drinks. She comes back 5 minutes later to get our order. A table sits down at that time a different waitress gets there drinks and takes their order. They get their food before us (both tables had 2 people). Or food come out in stages ... mgt husbands grits comes out first. He completely eats that and 5 minutes later we get our eggs and meat. Waitress said I'll be right back with your pancakes. 10 minutes later we get our pancakes. We asked for warm syrup... she brings that out in the to go soup container that's hard to pour out of. The pancakes were on such small plates that the syrup runs off the plates and goes everywhere. We asked for refills on our drinks when she brought out pancakes ... we never got those. We finish our food waited 15 minutes trying to get out ticket to pay. After us looking around the manager finally comes to our table asking if she can get us anything. We said our check would be nice. Finally the waitress brought us the check. This is the worst service we've ever gotten here. The only positive I can say is the food was good.

Stopped by at 6:30 intending to get breakfast. Sign on the door said they open at 6:00 AM but they were not open at 6:30. You are a breakfast restaurant. Why wouldn't you be open early enough for someone who has to work to be able to get breakfast?

I walked in on Father's day, it wasn't too busy only a 20 minute wait.. I clearly see why..my family of 3 sat down and the server came to our table and asked us what we wanted to drink. We said coffee and lemonade. She came back with it and asked if we wanted sugar and what kind.. I responded politely with "all sugars" she somehow caught an attitude or not sure if she already had one before we walked in. She walked away and rudely in front of all the customers came back with the sugar and says she treats everyone like they treat her.. all I wanted was a nice father's day breakfast with no side of attitude. Not too much to ask for..I saw the manager and asked for a different server and he said no so we left. I know we all have bad days but when your in the public don't bring your problems to work with you..

The guy who answered the phone was rude, I forgot to ask for a name he was Indian. I ordered two hash browns through the door dash app and had called to explain that there was not an option to add cheese to them and he proceeded to argue with me saying that there was an option. He then said well we can’t do this every time because it won’t charge me but that he’ll do it this one time. I told him I was unsure of what to do then if it doesn’t allow me to add cheese to them and he continued to say it does. I work in the food industry and if it were me I would prioritize the guests needs and then check to see if it’s on there (it isn’t). He was talking to me like I was a child and it was extremely unprofessional. I guess I can’t get cheese on them in the future unless I go up there…

Awful! Party of four, two adults and two children. We were seated at 6:40pm then ordered our drinks, appetizer and entrees at 6:50. Did not get our drinks until 7:00. I ordered unsweetened tea and added one package of sweetener. It was so sweet there was no way it was not sweet tea! I told the waiter and he insisted it was unsweetened. I asked him to remove it from our bill and bring water. When we still didn't have our appetizer by 7:10 we left. They were not that busy. IHOP is way too expensive to wait 30 minutes for an appetizer; god only knows how long we would have waited for our entrees. In the 30 minutes we waited I heard our waiter apologize to every table he was serving. Chicken & waffles here instead of chicken and fries, wrong toppings on pancakes there, no refills... Will NEVER go back to this location!

This place is Awful. Terrible service Cold eggs and hash browns Bacon was not cooked. I sent it back. Still was cold and the bacon was black and burnt. I Will Never go back there again, It was low quality food at a high price. Go to first watch. It’s much better at the same price!!!!

Ate breakfast here on Tuesday morning , The coffee was bitter and the eggs were way undercooked, my mistake I ate them and have suffered the last 36 hours. When I walked in I should have turned and walked out as the place was virtually empty. Someone needs to get the kitchen under control. While recuperating , I have been looking over the reviews and found a common complaint, UNDERCOOKED EGGS! Do these people realize salmonella comes from undercooked eggs!

The old waitress with glasses im not sure her name is the rudest person ever. She has the worst attitude ever and doesn’t even give the respect to anyone and doesn’t even make eye contact while talking and she made me feel very unwelcome and was very rude and disrespectful to me. If the manager or the owner is seeing this please do something about it because she wasn’t just rude to me, she was rude to other people too. The food quality was very bad too, i ordered the steak omelette and the steak wasn’t cooked very well.

This location doesn’t know how to handle a curbside order. They don’t even know the iHOP app exists. The app knows when you arrive but no one in the store knows anything about it. Literally waited 15 minutes while the app kept saying to “Sit Tight we’ll have your order out shortly” but that never happened. When I went into the store to get our order it had been sitting there the whole time. Then had to completely reheat our order after arriving home. Unbelievable experience.

Ordered the senior 2x2x2 with a side of toast. The eggs were cold before I could finish them and looked like small eggs. The sausage was the only thing simi good. The toast was cod and unbuttered. They brought butter and 20 minutes later the butter was still not melted. The pancakes were eatable but I couldn't finish them. The waitress was very rude, told us we should have paid at the table, (I have never paid at the table at IHOP).

We had written this place off two years ago because of the terrible, slow service. Decided to give it a try again and it seems nothing has changed. Our waiter was new and most of our poor experience was not his fault. Drinks were brought out quickly but 30 minutes after we placed our order we had to flag him down and ask how much longer. He told us the kitchen was backed up and there was “a hold on tickets” meaning our order hadn’t even been sent to the kitchen! We should have left then. We watched a table that was seated after us get their food before us. We finally received our food an hour and fifteen minutes after we ordered! We were complained to the cashier (manager?) he didn’t even say sorry but rather “That’s the way it’s been here for 5 years”. Lol okay, maybe do better then. NEVER AGAIN!

If your sign says open at 6 you should find people that can be there to ensure you open at 6. I’m told the kitchen can’t be opened until the cook arrives and then it’s still 20 min until anything can be produced out of the kitchen, but it’s never known when the cook will arrive… I was told anywhere between 6-7 is when he USUALLY arrives. Look if you want to open at 7 because you have unreliable employees just open at 7.

Strangest dining experience I've ever had. The waitress kept bringing us drinks we didn't order. My wife simply wanted a glass of water, and the waitress brought tea, lemonade, and strawberry drinks. I pleaded with her to just bring a glass of water. We should have left then, but we stayed. After seeing many other people get their food before us, people that were seated after us, our waitress said she had forgotten what we had ordered. We then left. Very strange.

Kind of started with the waitress, like she wasn't really engaged. My over medium eggs were over easy and of course the white was running which I don't like which is why I order over medium. They brought out cold toast unbuttered and then brought us cold butter to butter our cold toast. If I wanted to butter my own toast I would have eaten at home. The bacon is see-through while it had a good flavor it was not very meaty at all. The best thing about the whole experience was the cup of coffee,which was good. I used a "get upside" coupon, took my receipt and went to pay at the register. The waitress says for future reference we take your money at the table and I told her I didn't want her to take my phone (which had my coupon on it) and that's when things really got snotty. I told her for future reference I wouldn't be coming back and I didn't need anything from her except to take my coupon. Seems like a lot of little things, but when I remember IHOP it was always a wonderful experience with great food and attentive waitresses happy to see me. I won't be visiting the Chesterfield store anymore let alone another IHOP. The prices were very expensive for the little bit of food you get. I just as soon go to my local cafe.
