Spoild 420 Brat

I took my husband for his birthday the food was fantastic we had 17 people with us and we were able to reserve a table for all of us they were great about keeping the drinks filled and kept checking on us. The cook's did a great job gave them a huge tip always remember to tip big they work hard. Highly recommend going to Hulas all ages can enjoy. They even brought my husband a sunday on the house and we sang happy birthday. Great time.

Tasty poke bowls that they mix to your order. They also have Hawaiian bbq. Very fresh choices of ingredients and sauces. It's just a counter with a few tables inside and outside in a common walkway.

Excited I went because I had a spot like this in my county years ago and it shut down because the mall area is was in was changing. It was excited as it was literally the same concept. The buffet line had all the frozen meats and fresh veggies that you pile in a bowl, you add sauces and then at the end of the line they cook it over a huge round hot plate. They cook it for about 5min and then hand it back to you. There's no wayThere's no way it seems.$24 for pretty much all you can eat. Great location for an fun experience.

This is an all you can eat hibachi style restaurant. You pick meat, noodles , vegetables and sauces to put in a bowl. Proceed to the cooking area. You are allowed to take leftovers home for your first trip only. While you are waiting for your food to cook, egg rolls and won tons magically appear at your table. All of the employees are very friendly and helpful.

It's OK. I need to work on my skills to make the bowl a mountain of food. 🤣 The staff is great and hanging was fun. A little pricey.

Chinese Bar-BQ? Perhaps in some mysterious way. Mongolian, yes. Saw the place quite by accident as I was leaving Target last night, very busy so today after reading reviews, went for it. Place definitely commands a crowd, and all staff move fast and efficiently. As for the food this is my take: having visited several establishments in the past with the same concept, some good, while others not very much so, I rapidly started the line, which now I understand why several patrons stuffed their bowls to great amounts, and certified skills, mounds way above the capacity of the size of the generous bowls. Plus an additional reduced size bowl apparently for the sauces at the end of the line just to pour the almost full with combination of sauces onto the impressive bigger bowl, which is received by the very adept cooks to cook the raw ingredients. Monkey see, monkey do, I tried to fill mine to the same proportions as to the lady ahead of me to disastrous results. Why when is an all you can eat? Simply because a person could eat half and take the rest home without breaking the house rules. Still is better to do the same gigantic bowl and take it to go for a lesser price minus full price and gratuity. Which I did not regret at the capable and friendly service provided by Abby? Truly an asset to the locale. Food: Protein frozen thin mostly, pork-beef-chicken all tasted the same, perhaps the chicken slightly different, so it is kind a let down. Tried a little spicy sausage and kielbasa sausage but low grade, not an inedible memory by a long shot. Zero seafood, possibly not business savvy. Meats at most 2.5 Stars. Vegetables, now that caught my attention fast with a long list, mostly fresh 95%, and probably a great option for veggie lovers. Wish I was a vegetarian but sadly no dice. 4 Stars! Abby brought to the table some kind of chicken noodle soup, not spectacular but edible. 3 Stars. Also won ton skins and 3 egg rolls, way past their normal cook, but easy to eat. Additionally hot tea, all these part of the price of admission, 3 Stars. The sauces were typical for this kind of fare, not one better than the other. Some contend that soaking all food with sauce is best, like their food dark from the surface of the grill, not the recently cleaned. 3 Stars. Service 4 Stars! Total for 2= almost $50 plus a nice gratuity for the very nice Abby. Needless to say, once will do it. They sure have the crowd.

First time in 30 years I've been disappointed by hulas. My noodles were pale and simultaneously burnt in spots. It tastes like butter noodles and freezer burnt meat. I've never left my leftovers let alone a full bowl. I waited in line for over a hour, just to be dissapointed. I know it's a very busy night but I've seen it busier and go twice as fast. Now I have to get dinner somewhere else and I'm out $64 not including tip for two people. I think the grill has been turned down so they can pay only one cook at a time, which makes the food more boiled than fried, killing the flavor and caramelization. Truly deeply disappointed please do better hulas, you are a Chico institution, but I wouldn't pay $10 for what I got tonight.

Mongolian bbq was good, but... really dirty. The service was just so so. The soup was cold. Bottom line this was our final visit after all these years. Bummer.

This place is a crazy rip off if you get it to go. Its the same price as dine in, but their to go box is small, so they throw out like half the bowl you made if it doesn't fit. They won't give it to you. Spend your money somewhere else, like crispy egg roll

My first visit is my last...Rice station is completely nasty looking unclean, soup was cold, nobody is wearing hair nets in this place. An if you try to pay first they need management approval. I just walked out. It not worth my business. If I could give it zero stars I would.

This is the worst experiance I have ever had. I love Mongolian bbq and I thought I would try this place after moving to Chico. This was a huge let down the food tasted horrible and stale . The sweet and sour sauce they give you tastes like what I would imagine drain cleaner to taste like . I am not exaggerating . We went for lunch,single trip, no extras and the bill was $75 for three of us minus tip. I’m hoping I don’t get food poisoning. AVOID AT ALL COSTS
