Molly's Souper located in downtown Upland is a quaint breakfast spot! Enjoy having breakfast with a great view of the mountains especially when the mountains have snow covering. Food is tasty and decently priced. Service is not bad. Just depends on how busy they are at the time. Delicous dishes to choose from: Chicken fried steak, steak and eggs, breakfast burritos, omelets, and more! Overall 4.5 / 5 Taste 4.5 / 5 Quality 5 / 5 Service 4 / 5 Atmosphere 5 / 5
First time here. Met friends for lunch. It’s an old house with lots of cute areas to dine, patio, dining room, porch. I highly recommend you try this cute breakfast lunch place in Upland. They have amazing fresh bread and we tried the lunch specials. Great efficient, friendly service. I ordered 1/2 sandwich & soup/ salad with apple crisp dessert that is too die for! Fresh bread, quality meat lettuce tomatoes & great little side salad. I will be back with my dog. Lots of free street parking and near by free parking lot. Did I say DOG friendly with their own menu’
one of those low-key neighborhood spots that quietly becomes your “how did I not know about this?” place. I came in for breakfast and left thinking, “Okay… so we’re coming back for lunch too.” First off: the vibe is classic, cozy, and unpretentious—clean tables, a steady hum of regulars, and staff who greet you like you’ve been eating here for years (in the best way). Service was quick without feeling rushed, which is exactly what you want when coffee is still doing its job. Food-wise, everything felt made-to-order and generously portioned. The breakfast plate in the photo—eggs smothered in a bright, chunky salsa with beans and melted cheese—hits that perfect comfort-food zone: warm, savory, and surprisingly balanced. The salsa has real tomato-and-chile character (not that watery “red sauce” situation), and the beans are creamy enough to scoop up with every bite. Add the dollop of sour cream and it’s basically breakfast therapy. Then there’s the breakfast sandwich + hash browns combo. The bun is soft, the egg is fluffy, the bacon brings the salt-and-smoke, and the cheese does what cheese is supposed to do: glue happiness together. The hash browns are the kind you keep “sampling” until you realize you accidentally ate half the plate. And because it’s Molly’s Souper, you can’t not try soup—even at breakfast. The lighter broth soup (with carrot and veggies) is clean and comforting, and the creamy one in the little cup is rich without being heavy—perfect “I want something cozy but I still have a day to live” energy. Overall: hearty breakfast, genuinely friendly service, and that rare feeling you get when a place is consistent and cares. If you’re in Upland and want a solid, satisfying meal that doesn’t try too hard, Molly’s Souper is an easy yes.
My goodness! If I can give this infinite stars I would!!! This is such an amazing place to bring anyone. Price and food portions with quality is good. I eat out 4x a week in different restaurants just because... and believe me I have a very broad taste palette this place is good for picky eaters and mindful with their calories and the best part is that its dog friendly. A perfect brunch spot for family and friends that you are not going to be embarrassed to bring anyone.
Nice place to hangout for brunch. What used to be just a restaurant in a regular house, now they have expanded their seating area to the patio, backyard, and front yard. Typical American breakfast but with a faster service, more affordable prices, friendlier staffs, and just the right food portion. Their home fries and corned beef hash are YUMMY crispy.
Adorable brunch restaurant in a historic Craftsman house, with lots of patio dining available. Pet-friendly, including a menu for dogs. Delicious "home cooking" type food with large portions. On weekends, expect a wait, but benches are available.
I recommend breakfast. The pancakes and homemade potatoes were the best I've eaten in awhile. My grandson and little brother are picky eaters and loved the food. Cute hidden gem for dog parents. 🐕 ❤️❤️.
This sweet 1912 craftsman-conversion brunch spot absolutely deserves its 4.6-essentially-5 star rating. The food was excellent, the ambience homey, cool, and relaxed, and the staff professional and kind. I would absolutely stop again. Plenty of free parking. Arrived at 11am on Saturday with a party of 2 wait less than 10 minutes.
Had an excellent Polish skillet with the biscuits-n-gravy option, at the server's suggestion. Coffee was very good, too, and I'm glad I skipped breakfast before this (I may skip dinner as well). Most seating is outdoor, so you get flies in the warm seasons. It's kid- and dog-friendly, too, so it may be a bit chaotic during crowded times.
This place is sooo cute I love the decor of the “home” it’s so welcoming and comfort food is home cooked. I got here about 7am ordered the florentine w/half order of biscuits&gravy..Let me tell you presentation was perfect biscuits fresh and handmade house potatoes were nice and crisp not greasy at ALL poached egg cooked to perfection spinach sautéed just right and the hollandaise sauce was just right not water not thick and had just the right flavor..My servers name was Maldo very nice attentive my cup of coffee never hit the bottom. Thank you Maldo for making my first time experience awesome . I will definitely be coming back and reminder guys they close at 2pm…. .P.S. They have a puppy menu upon request💗
Delicious breakfast spot with consistently great food—everything we tried was excellent. There’s plenty of patio seating and charming areas inside, creating a cozy and relaxed vibe. You pay at the cashier when you're done. Open daily until 2 PM, making it a perfect morning or early afternoon stop.
Today we celebrated my mom’s, my sisters and my sister-in-law Mother’s Day with a delicious breakfast from this awesome place I’m usually very picky. This place is very nice. I’m impressed. Food is good. Service is fast. Breakfast was so perfect for me. You can’t feel the rush, or stress that you feel in other places they communicate well ,all personnel is prepared to be nice effective and I have to give him a five stars. I only review places that earn their stars either one or five stars I was actually observing the gentlemen restroom, just by looking how clean it was . I could tell this was a great place. I was surprised to see a restroom so clean. I was impressed to see how clean it was that tells me that the kitchen and all the other parts of the restaurant must be well kept . And not to mention prices are very affordable. I prefer to go here 1000 times eat breakfast , than you know other fast food restaurants ,prices are very competitive but this place here.Mollys souper is definitely a must try family place thank you guys

We had a hearty, home cooked breakfast in this quaint historic building in cute downtown Upland - food was decent overall, staff very welcoming and attentive, and we loved the cozy, dog-friendly vibes in the craftsman-style house. And we didn’t even have to wait for a table during prime brunch hours on a Saturday! I think we just got lucky though lol. For my breakfast, the Billye's Texas Benedict caught my eye since the menu states it’s served with a “Texas cheese sauce”. Seeing as I am a Texas native myself and always on the lookout for a decent queso, how could I resist? It was pretty good overall - the eggs were perfectly poached with a rich, runny orange yolk and the ham and muffin were delectable. But the cheese sauce was, unfortunately, not it - it was pretty bland and resembled nacho cheese sauce that comes out of a can so I probably wouldn’t get this again. Hubby got the build-your-own omelet and enjoyed his choice. For his side he wisely went with the biscuits and gravy which were quite nice. The biscuits have a lovely texture and the flavors are decent, only requiring a little bit of salt. Both dishes also came with a side of their home fried potatoes which were excellent. We also couldn’t resist trying one of their giant cinnamon rolls after hearing people outside raving about them. It was pretty massive - we had to take half of it home lol. It was over-the-top sweet (sweetest I’ve ever had), the cinnamon mixture was very thick and pasty with a gritty texture and very mild cinnamon flavor, and the icing had no flavor to it at all. I can’t say I really enjoyed it and doubt I’d get this again either. For drinks, hubby opted for the OJ which tasted very fresh. Their menu states to “ask about flavored weekend drink options” so I asked, thinking they would have various special latte flavors but they don’t - this is referring to their various mimosa flavors (they also have mimosa flights). So I went with the cappuccino - and watched as our server filled a glass with regular coffee, a powder mix of some sort (???), and topped it with a heap of whip cream. It tasted nice but definitely not an actual cappuccino - Still not sure how I feel about it lol. The real draw for Molly’s is its quaint, historical charm - the house is decorated with cute vintage signs and bric-a-brac, there are unique seating areas around each corner that feel very intimate (both inside and out), and they pride themselves on their high level of dog-friendliness. It really felt like eating at a favorite Auntie’s house! It’s located in the core of downtown Upland which is very walkable and a great place to meander and explore. Plenty of free street parking or in one of the local public lots. And there was a farmers market going on nearby during our Saturday visit - so it’s great for a leisurely weekend morning out.
I would say that this is on the list of the more famous diners along former Route 66. Located east of Los Angeles in Upland, this little country diner is in a house that was refurbished to be a restaurant. It really has a great look to it when you arrive and even though there was a line of people we were able to be seated right away for a party of two at a 10:30 AM Saturday brunch. Inside is quite large and there are many different rooms where you can be seated. They don’t have booth seating, it is tables only. Our server was polite however it took quite some time for her to come over to get our drink orders after we sat down. There is not an attached parking lot, but street parking is really easy to find and the business parking lot across the street is available on weekends so parking is very easy. I started off the meal with a Cinnamon Roll and would highly recommend ordering it. It was honestly really good and better than the version that I had at another place close by a week prior. It was really gooey and had a lot of icing on the top and had just great flavors. For my breakfast, I chose the Billye’s Texas Benedict and thought it was nice however, I thought the ham really lacked any flavor and wish it would’ve been more salted or I would prefer to switch the protein. The hollandaise was also a little bit different than I am used to, almost had a bit of a bitter taste to it, and the green onions I felt took a little bit away from the total flavor so overall, I did not dislike it, but it was not one of my favorite versions of a Benedict. Overall, I would recommend if you are in the area and are searching for a quick and casual diner for breakfast or lunch.
We had never been to this establishment, it’s located in downtown upland. The structure is a converted home of a well-known family of the pioneer citrus growers. It has indoor and outdoor dining. It’s decorated really nicely with plenty of tables to sit down and enjoy your meal. We ordered pork chops and eggs with potatoes and toast also chicken fried steak with gravy biscuits and eggs and orange juice and plenty of coffee. Our server Asa was courteous and friendly and attentive. Great customer service here. The food was great. Plenty on your tray and the prices are better than other establishments with similar menu. There is plenty of parking, will be coming back soon. They even have a doggy menu.
What a lovely place with rich history, cozy vibes, and good food. The restaurant operates in a home built in 1880. The patio, and indoor dining areas have an old-time feel, but cozy. The food was good. Standard American breakfast menu items. However, nothing stood out. It was a good ol standard breakfast. This is a place to bring you close ones to socialize and have food at the table. I wouldn't come here solely for the food, but for the atmosphere and experience. There is a pet menu!! Fur babies are welcome.
I had an omelette and the sausage and biscuits. All very tasty! They were busy but the food came out in a good amount of time after an extended wait to take our order.
Loved it and u can bring your pets like dogs. I sat on the patio not inside. The atmosphere is fast past with Mexican mom and pop vibe with breakfast food. It’s built inside of a house that’s so cool. Make sure you tip. I can’t wait to to go again I got the chorizo and eggs with potatoes and flour tortillas
First off be sure to stop at the podium when arriving and place your name on the clipboard! Breakfast... the question is, do you prefer homestyle, bougie, or somewhere in between? Now on with my review. This place has been here for a long time and I may have stopped in before COVID. The food doesn't WOW me but for a comfort food breakfast location, you can't go wrong if selecting Molly's. Servings are plentiful here, coffee was tasty and my biscuits were dry for the Biscuits and Gravy but the gravy itself was delicious. We had to ask for butter for our pancakes and more napkins. Other than that it was a pleasant experience for myself and the 2 grandkids. Clean restrooms too. Respectfully Reviewed.

Highly overrated restaurant. Food is mediocre, service is subpar and outdoor seating during a summer in Upland is uncomfortable. Don't let them talk you into it - you will regret it and remember I …
Sunny side up eggs does NOT mean a thin layer of cooked white on the bottom, with an upper later of uncooked runny white and runny yolk. There's a technique to cooking the white and leaving the yolk runny, and they don't know it. A mistake is fine, but the waitress was rude and gaslighted me that this was a sunny side up egg. It was not. The hash was ok, more home fries than a hash really. My biscuit and gravy was cold, and the gravy was sweet; that was weird. Denny's has better food than this.
Been coming here once a week First time experiencing a bad service Felt rushed by giving us a box less than 15 mins after we got seated on top of that charged us for things we Never ordered. Like what I said we come here every week. We asked for the charge to be fixed instead they gave us a bigger bill. Just paid it. No time for drama just embarassing bec theres a lot of people just for the dispute. Its not the money its the principle, but you know what? I will exclude this place for my clients in tourism. Because after all we can all judge a book by its cover but we tip generously. not coming back.
